The Stonecutters Billionaires Series: The complete six book set by Lexi Aurora (76)

I woke up looking around. It took me a moment to realize that we were still in the alcove, which was shading us from the bright light of the morning sun. Jenna was laying on my chest, and I shook her gently awake.

“Jenna,” I said, stroking her arm with my fingers. “Baby, wake up. We fell asleep.”

She stirred, blinking at me, and after a moment her eyes went wide in panic and she scrambled to her feet, grabbing her dress and throwing it on. I felt panicky myself as I got dressed. I hadn’t meant to fall asleep with her there but it had been so comfortable and warm, such a perfect moment after I got to make love to her and tease her pussy. I had gotten comfortable and drifted off, and now we were stuck outside with no excuse as to why we were together so early in the morning.

“God, I can’t believe we fell asleep here,” Jenna said, running her hands through her hair. “I don’t know what to do.”

“Go up to the house first,” I told her. “I’ll follow later from the other door.”

“Okay,” she said, biting her lip. She leaned in to kiss me then, wrapping her arms around my neck. There was a smile on her lips that made me feel relieved—she was nervous, but she didn’t seem to regret the night before.

“Last night was perfect,” she said, confirming my thoughts. I kissed her again, nuzzling her cheek.

“It was,” I said. “We’ll repeat it later. I’ll see you in a bit.”

She kissed me one more time and then disappeared through the narrow tunnel between the rocks. I waited for about twenty minutes, folding up the blanket and putting the cooler away to carry in later. I wanted to make it look like I had just gotten up in the morning to take a walk, rather than the fact that I had slept outside.

I started to make my way back to the house, following the outer perimeter of the property to go in through the servant’s entrance. I walked up to the house, pushing in through the door that led to a dark hallway. I flipped on the light switch and at that moment, the adjacent door opened, and the cook was standing there. She gave me a puzzled look but I only smiled at her and went through the hallway, hoping she wouldn’t say anything to anybody.

I went upstairs and undressed, stepping into the shower. I regretted washing the scent of Jenna off of me. The blend of her sex and her perfume was a heady one, something that I could breathe in all day and be satisfied. In the shower, I thought of Jenna, smiling as I pictured that look on her face when I was teasing her. And it wasn’t only that—not just the sex—but seeing Jenna’s smile was something that made me feel almost weak.

Once I got out of the shower, I got dressed and went outside. I saw everyone on the patio, including Jenna, who blushed when she noticed me. I knew she was remembering the night before and so was I. One of the best parts was hearing her say the word ‘please’ in that sweet little voice, then giving her what she desperately wanted while she moaned and bucked against me.

“Good morning,” I said to my family as I took a seat at the table. My eyes were on Jenna for a moment as I drank her in, her wet curls, her perfect features.

“Travis,” said Casey, breaking my attention. I looked at my sister, whose usually friendly, smiley face was completely blank. “What are you doing today?”

“I thought I’d just relax,” I said. “I—”

It was then that my phone rang in my pocket. I fished it out to see that it was work. I had been ignoring the calls from my business since I’d arrived on the island, too focused instead on Jenna and my feelings for her.

“I have to take this,” I said, standing up. I could no longer avoid it—I already knew that my partner, Arthur, was going to be beyond pissed that I hadn’t been available. I was always working, even on vacation, and he had always been able to get ahold of me before.

“Hello?” I answered, walking into the house and shutting the sliding glass door behind me. “Arthur?”

“Travis, where the hell have you been?”

“Things with that girl, my sister’s friend...”

“Yeah, I get it. You’re out there on some island getting laid. But I really need you to be available, buddy.”

“What do you need?” I asked him.

“I need you to sign some papers on the Celestia patent. They’re expecting it done by tomorrow.”

I sighed. “Email me the papers here. I’ll fax them back to you.”

“There’s some reports you have to do, too,” he said.

“Send them.”

“Okay,” he said, then paused. “So how’s it going with the girl?”

I grinned. “It’s perfect. But my sister—”

“Forget your sister for right now. Do what you want.”

“I will,” I said. I had already made up my mind about that. Jenna was going to be mine, and I had a feeling that Casey would get over it in time once she found out. I told Arthur goodbye and hung up the phone, putting it down on the counter and going upstairs to check my computer. He was right about the reports, and though I wanted to spend the day with Jenna, work had and always would come first for me. I could only hope to see her later, and get her alone like I had last night so that I could touch her all over again.
