Finman
He had kept the cottage on the hill in sight all night and knew that there were two humans in the dwelling. As the sun started to rise and the darkness faded, an older human female left the dwelling. She got into a small car and drove down the road toward town.
This was the time for him to abduct the young redheaded female. He didn’t sense any other humans in the area, nor did he detect the presence of the large protective male Selkie either. The Finman walked up the steps from the beach, without making a sound, and he used his sorcery abilities to enter the cottage. Locked doors were no deterrent for Finfolk.
He sensed where the human female was located in the dwelling and made his way to the room she occupied. The Finman smelled the Selkie, but only his scent—it was too faint to actually be him in the dwelling. The female smelled of the Selkie, and he could tell the Selkie had marked her. That knowledge changed his already ominous mood and made him want to inflict pain and destroy whatever got in his way.
The Finman could feel her presence beyond the door he stood in front of. He opened the door and spotted her small form under the quilts on the bed. He slunk to the bed to inspect her while she still slept. He reached and removed the covers off her body when her eyes started to open slowly. She screamed, but the Finman covered her mouth with one hand. With his other, he used his fist and connected with her jaw to knock her unconscious.
He hoisted her over his shoulder and moved out the door of the cottage. The Finman was down the stairway to the beach and out in the ocean before anyone was aware she had been taken. He swam with her some distance to where he had his small skiff anchored and threw her inert body to the bottom of the boat. The Finman pulled himself aboard and quickly tied her up before she came to. He ripped her clothes off and threw them overboard; he wanted to feast his eyes upon her naked body. The shape-shifter’s mood changed considerably.
