Quadruplets Make Six: A Fake Relationship Secret Baby Romance by Nicole Elliot (6)

Six

Graham

“You really missed a wild reception,” Jake said.

“I told Logan I wasn’t going to be able to stay,” I said. “I had prior plans.”

“Don’t worry. He wasn’t upset or anything,” he said.

“I wouldn’t have been worried had he been upset.”

“What kind of plans did you have? Women plans?”

“What are you? Twelve?”

“Fine! Want me to talk about the reception?” he asked.

“Sure. Sounds good.”

I was out to breakfast with Jake the next morning and I was trying to keep an eye out for Libby. I suggested this place right by the Stan Mansion, in case she had a room there she came back the next day for some reason. Or maybe came back and stayed overnight. I couldn’t get my damn mind off her. After our beautiful fucking encounter in the bathroom I had escorted her to her car. A shabby, rundown hunk of junk I was nervous to even put her in. I gave her a kiss on the cheek and smiled as she got into her car, then waved her off while my stomach sank watching her drive off.

I wasn’t sure why I felt that way. Usually one-night stands were easy for me to let go.

But this one was different, and I wanted to know why.

I was an idiot to not get anymore information on her. I didn’t know where she worked. I didn’t get her damn phone number. I didn’t even know what fucking part of Chicago the woman lived in!

How the hell did I not know any of this stuff? I spent the entire damn evening with her.

Fuck. I was probably never going to see that woman again.

“Well, for starters,” Jake said, “Logan got trashed. I mean, off his ass trashed. He drank so much at that reception he fell face first into the damn wedding cake!”

“He did what?” I asked.

“Oh yeah. Marianne was pissed. Red-faced yelling. And Logan was giggling his ass off like some drunk little school girl. I got it all on my phone. Wanna see it?”

“Logan drunk is always a good time,” I said. “Hit me with it.”

I watched Jake dig out his phone before my eyes scanned the breakfast place again. I had no idea why the hell a timid woman like Libby would frequent a place like this, but I had to try. It was the only place I’d be caught dead in anyway, so if I had a heart attack from straining to try and find her at least I wouldn’t be embarrassed about where I was. I watched people walk outside on the streets, enjoying the morning sun before the clouds ate it up. I was begging the universe to send her my way. Just walk those curves right by the damn windows of this place and I could take it from there. My cock throbbed simply thinking of her curves. All of the soft, sensuous meat I felt underneath my fingertips when I ran them up her dress.

I drew in a deep breath as Jake shoved his phone into my hands.

“Watch the entire thing. It’s long, but there’s so much shit that happens it’s ridiculous,” he said.

I had to admit, watching Logan fall face first into the cake was pretty impressive. What was more impressive, however, was Marianne getting so drunk she was making out with her maid of honor. I chuckled and shook my head as bottles of very expensive champagne were opened and poured onto people. Marianne was soaked and Logan was licking it off her neck. The bridesmaids were standing on tables and showering the dancefloor with it. People were slipping around and falling into one another while parents and the like scoffed in the corner.

“Wow,” I said. “They really threw a party, didn’t they?”

“And that’s just twenty minutes of the damn thing,” Jake said. “Like I said, you missed a party. So, tell me about her.”

“Who?” I asked.

“The woman you missed the party for.”

“What makes you think it was a woman?”

“For starters? The hickey on the side of your neck.”

My hand rose to my neck as I caught my reflection in the window. It was faint. Nothing like the marks I knew I’d put on her body. But the red was just red enough and it was rising up just beyond the collar of my shirt. I felt my cheek tick at the memory of her lips against my neck, and I felt my dick twitch to life again.

Breathe, Graham.

“Secondly you didn’t even sit with us. So? Was she hot?” Jake asked.

“It was nothing but a one-night stand,” I said.

“So she was hot.”

“Yes, Jake. She was an attractive woman.”

“Where’d you meet her?” he asked.

“At the wedding.”

“Wait a second. You met some girl at the wedding and hooked up?” he asked.

“It was kind of more than that. But Jake, she didn’t know who I was. It was kind of great to be just a groomsman sleeping with the groom’s cousin.”

“But women knowing who you are is the best part, Graham! They slobber on your cock like experts when they know the kind of power you wield.”

“That isn’t what I want and you know it,” I said. “Besides that, I’m not willing to settle down again. I tried that, remember?”

“And it blew up in your face, got it. So, was she any good?”

“What?” I asked.

“Fuck me, am I gonna have to drag this out of you? Usually you’re forthcoming with this kind of information. By this point, I know what size her tits were, how tight her pussy was, and how many times she came, dude.”

“It was a decent one-night stand. Nothing special about it. And now it’s time to move on,” I said.

“Ah, well. Not every lay can be a good one. At least the wedding was memorable for everyone.”

“Yeah, there’s that.”

It pissed me off to talk about this anymore than I already was. Moving on from someone like Libby was going to suck shit. I didn’t know why it was going to, but it hurt to even think about the notion. The way her eyes lit up with every single unfiltered emotion and the way she was unabashedly herself. It was refreshing. She didn’t seem to know who I was, so she wasn’t clamoring for my money, and as I was balls deep in her pussy she enabled me to forget about the outside world.

Which was something no woman had ever done before.

I picked around at my breakfast plate, relegating myself to the fact that she was gone. She wasn’t at the Stan Mansion, she wasn’t walking into the breakfast joint, and she sure as hell wasn’t going to magically pop up out of thin air. Jake kept rattling on about the reception and where him and his bide were going on their honeymoon, but I was only taking in part of it.

The rest of my energy was focused on Libby, and how she had somehow imprinted herself onto me.

I paid for breakfast and shook Jake’s hand, then I dipped into my car. It was time for my ass to get to work and be productive with my life somehow. As I stared out the window and watched the world pass me by, I realized, Libby was gone.
