Snowed in with the Alien Pirate by Starr Huntress, Aerin Caldera (5)

Chapter 8

Jenny

Jenny's face glistened with sweat. Her breath slowly calmed to a more reasonable tempo, but she knew she was still a quivering mess. Out of the corner of her eye she knew he was staring at her, and she wondered what he meant to do now that she had so easily fallen at his feet. She bit her lip as she took him in. How was it that his scent could be so intoxicating?

He was still magnificent.

"We have to go. Now." There was some urgency to his voice, but Jenny wanted to nervously laugh as she noticed his mouth was still wet with her juices. He raised an arm to wipe himself off.

She stared at him through starry eyes, "How did you get out of those cuffs?"

"Quiet," was all he said to her as he moved to the exit.

"Okay... Tiberius," said Jenny flippantly. She knew she was being inappropriate, but it was difficult removing the post-orgasmic smile from her face.

He turned and stared at her with a confused look.

"I've always wanted to sleep with a man named Tiberius. So until you give me a better one, your name is -"

"Xatah. My name is Xatah." He interrupted, as if he was annoyed that she dared give him another name. "I'm a renown pirate. My name strikes fear in the hearts-"

"Good for you," mocked Jenny, interrupting him. "I don't really need your life story. This was simply a fling, a one of." She said, trying to regain control of the situation now that her mind wasn't lost in the gutters. "What I do need, is for you to get back into your cage."

He grinned at her and grabbed her arm. "You don't really think I'm going to let that ass of a commander take me to Zeta R, do you? I'm exactly where I want to be."

"Ah yes, the middle of nowhere. How majestic," said Jenny brightly. "The perfect place to build roots. Start a new life."

He glared down at her. "Are you always this persnickety?"

"Careful who you sleep with, eh?" said Jenny giving him a wicked grin. "Now back in your cage," she added with a poke to his chest.

"Stop it," he commanded as he tried to open the brig door, his back muscles bulging as he pushed against the solid door. There was a hard grinding sound as the door began to budge, but ultimately, and to Jenny's great relief, it remained solidly locked in place.

"I'm not saying this wasn't a lot of fun," said Jenny now certain that they were locked into the brig together. "But you're not going anywhere."

Xatah turned on her, his brow was furrowed as he glared down at her. There was grim determination on his face, but she wasn't sure whether she was reading anger or frustration. She wondered if it mattered as he towered over her. He could likely snap her in half with little effort.

She was certain he would not kill her. Well, mostly certain. Unfortunately she knew if he did, it would hurt the entire time. She panicked. "Let's compromise."

"Fine," said Xatah his voice rumbling across the room, echoing off the walls in the most menacing fashion possible. "You can do whatever you want, but in the end, you're coming with me when we go down to that planet." He glanced down at her hand, "And seeing as I'm fairly certain you don't need to be conscious for that palm reader to work...."

"Just a second," said Jenny backing up a step or two holding up her hands, which she immediate put behind her back. Her eyes were darting about the room, but her thoughts were drifting to the snow capped peaks and the wildly brilliant colors of winter she loved. She paused in the middle of the room. "I'm sure we can come to a fair solution to our mutual problem."

As thoughts of Ca'ana entered her mind, she was suddenly curious if it was just coincidence that the military craft had broken down just where it had. He had planned at least some of this from the very beginning, she was sure of it. The problem now, was getting out of this situation alive.

There were many ways of contacting her bridge crew and letting them know she had 'accidentally' let out the prisoner, but once again, the scenarios playing in her head were quickly going from bad to worse. Informing the bridge would likely lead to the Commander taking charge, which would inevitably lead to her getting blown into space, one way or another.

What she needed was a way for her to lead everyone on board her ship and the military vessel into believing she was at his mercy. That somehow he had masterminded everything.

"We need to go," said Xatah taking a step closer to her, but she took another step back.

"Hold on," she said, then looked up at him. "Kidnapping me."

"... What?"

"I agree to go with you, but you agree to not hurt any of my crew. Oh and you agree that, should we be caught, this is all your fault."

"Very mature," said Xatah mockingly, but after a moment he gave her a curt nod.

"Let the record show," said Jenny moving towards the door and pressing her palm to the panel, "that I consider that a binding contract."
