Down South (Southern Hospitality Book 1) by C.M. Steele (12)

Ten years later…

“I can’t believe you’re a rancher now,” my dad exclaimed, shaking his head as he sat on his mount.

“Said the guy who traded the city life for raising horses.”

“True, but ever since you almost died on the side of the road, I thought you’d stay far away from the south.”

“Yes, well I fixed that problem,” I replied. Nearly two years after we married, I added a small gas station with a rest stop for those in need. The land had been mine to do as I pleased. I let my father-in-law keep all but the space required to build the stop.

“Yes, you did, and it’s been great on summer days for many cars passing on through.”

“Well, I don’t want anyone to die because their car breaks down. I was lucky, unbelievably lucky,” I said, seeing my beautiful wife coming toward us. She got a little fuller after the boys, but was still perfect. I worried every day that someone would take away my Maggie, but then she comes to me like this and I feel like a king. She was smiling at me and I wanted to pin her against the nearest post and mount her.

“What do we owe the pleasure?” I asked, pulling her by the waist and into my chest.

“Lunch is done.”

“You could have called us instead of coming all the way out here, Mags,” I said, leaning down for a kiss. Her lips were covered in a new lip gloss that I cleaned off.

“But then I couldn’t get your kisses. The boys get all grossed out when we kiss.”

“They’ll get over that in a couple of years,” my dad teased. Seeing that we wanted to be alone, he tipped his hat and said, “I’ll see ya’ll in the house.” He winked and rode away.

“In about ten minutes,” she said quietly and when he was out of sight. She turned to me with a hunger in her eyes. “I want you, Max. I want you so bad. Feel,” she demanded. She grabbed my hand and slid it under her dress. I felt her panties and they were drenched.

“Come on,” I grunted out. I scooped her up and carried her out of sight.

“I can walk, you know?”

“I can’t wait.”

As soon as we reached the edge of the fence line out of sight of the house and the road, I sat her on the wooden fence. “Hold onto the post,” I said. She put her left hand on it, and I placed her feet on the rail below. Sliding them apart, I dropped to my knees. With my head under her dress, I sniffed her heat need like I was an animal. Her scent was different when she was pregnant. I always loved her taste but even more so when she was carrying my baby. The panties were torn to shreds in one pull. She gasped, which turned to a moan as my tongue lapped up her sweetness.

She moaned, grinding her hips forward onto my face with her hands holding onto the rails. I replaced my tongue with two fingers, stroking her pussy until she was so close her walls pulsed around my digits. “Come for me,” I growled. She shuddered as her orgasm creamed through her. I drank her up until I consumed all of her.

I stood up and stepped back, then I grabbed her waist, helped her down from the rails and fixed her dress.

“What are you doing?” she asked, wondering why I wasn’t fucking her like a beast.

“I’m taking you inside to eat. Stop looking at me like that. I’ll have you wrapped around my cock one way or another, but I don’t want to take the risk of someone leaving lunch early. I’d have to fire someone or pay for our kids’ therapy.”

“That’s true. I don’t think I’d be able to look anyone in the face if they saw us having sex.”

“You didn’t mind a few minutes ago,” I teased, making her blush.

“Shut up and let’s go eat lunch,” she hissed, smacking my ass.

“Just had mine, sweetheart.” I was feeling on top of the world.

Our four sons and my wife were everything to me. The ranch life had grown on me until I found it more enjoyable than my large office. Maggie was happy to follow me anywhere and helped make my life whole. She did take culinary courses for fun and we all got to be her test subjects. Thank goodness she was a natural.

“So, what did you make?”

With a dead pan face, she said, “A salad.”

“Please tell me you’re shitting me,” I grumbled.

“Nope. But our moms made some steaks and baked potatoes.”

“Woman, that kind of teasing isn’t nice. I’ve been working since sun up,” I growled, pulling her into my chest and holding her arms behind her back. “That’s not really nice.”

“What are you going to do about it?” she asked, giving me a daring smirk.

“I’m going to fuck you into submission tonight. Maybe a midnight ride to the lake for some hot, sweaty, dirty sex in the grass.”

“I need to be naughty more often, cowboy,” she moaned, pressing her lips up against the edge of my jaw and kissing the stubble. “By the way, I think we were a little too naughty last time. I’m pregnant.”

“Oh, we’re definitely going to the lake tonight,” I promised, then scooped her up and carried her into the house. I was the luckiest man in the world.
