T heir second kiss got under her skin and lasted way longer than their first. It tore through her senses, firing non-stop pulses of endorphins. She rode the high until she couldn’t breathe. Sylvie panted, trying to catch her breath when they broke apart, and she wasn’t the only one.

He licked his lips. “Sylvie, I… we shouldn’t be doing this.”

“We should do more of it.” She pulled his face back towards her and kissed him again. Her lips were swollen, and she didn’t care. As long as they were connected to Martin’s they felt great. He kissed her back, but she sensed a hesitation that wasn’t there a moment ago. “What’s wrong?”

“I don’t want to hurt you and that’s where this will lead.”

Her body was on fire. It was hot enough to melt the ice. “You’re over-thinking things. Enjoy the moment and be with me. I want you, and I’m under no illusions that love will follow. Je t’aime pour toujours. Us hooking up won’t change that.”

“Me too, always. But we can’t hook up. It will change everything. How could it not? I’ve wanted you for years, but—”

She yanked on his jersey, pulling him closer. “What? You… you wanted to be with me. But you said nothing.” She ran her fingers along his jawline.

He stilled her hand and kissed her palm. “Because we’re too good as friends. And don’t act surprised. Since the day you developed breasts, I’ve been staring at them. Every guy in our school wanted to get with you and you picked that fucking idiot. Was it because he was older? I never understood the appeal.”

“First of all, nobody wanted to get with me. Renny was the first and only guy that ever asked me out. I said yes because I was flattered and I… that’s an old story. If you liked me why didn’t you ever say anything?”

He shrugged his shoulders. “We flirted all the time, so I thought you knew but weren’t interested. You never once looked at me like you’re looking at me now. Not the way you looked at him. It’s all in the past, you dated Renny, and shortly after, I dated Marianne. I have no regrets. My life is hockey. Always has been and always will be. There’s no time for anything else. You deserve more than I can give you.”

The revelation hurt her heart. She had no idea he thought of her as anything more than a friend all these years. He wasn’t wrong in his assessment because she never thought of him sexually until now. “Give us today. Our friendship will continue tomorrow and the day after that. I’m only here for a few weeks, so there’s no chance of things going too far emotionally. Nothing will change. I promise.”

“Sex complicates things. Even knowing how great a kisser you are is complicating things.” He glanced down and her eyes followed. Hidden under the pads was an erection, she desperately wanted to get her hands on. “Promise you won’t ask me to kiss you again.”

“Go get changed. If you want to be a big baby, then fine. I promise, I won’t ask. But you will spend some time in the penalty box for being a bad boy.”

“What?”

She arched a brow and placed her hands on her hips. “You heard me. I have two wishes left and as my genie you have to obey. You don’t get to tell me what I can and can’t wish for. I’ll meet you back here.”

“Your wish is my command,” he said, skating away.

Once he stepped off the ice, she let out the breath she’d been holding. She couldn’t believe he’d been attracted to her, and she'd never noticed. Her head had been shoved so far up… It didn’t matter what happened in the past. She was only looking straight ahead.

She sat down in the penalty box and waited. After she removed her skates, she unzipped her jacket. The jersey had a V-neck and she adjusted the pushup bra, ensuring he’d get a good look. Asking him to kiss her had been tough, but this would be even more difficult. She would have to remind him that every squabble or protest would earn him another punishment. The temperature in the rink was cool but comfortable, yet she was sweating. She wiped the perspiration off her forehead.

“What are we doing in here?” Martin walked into the box and closed the door behind him.

“Well, you deserve a penalty for your behavior earlier. And there’s no better place to serve out your sentence than right here and now. Remember that each objection you make to my demands will not be met favorably.”

He laughed and sat down next to her. “You’re being harsh. I would have gone easier on you, had I won.”

“Bullshit!”

“You’re right. There would have been some washing floors in a maid outfit. The rest I’ll save for another time.”

“Exactly what I thought. You don’t know the meaning of the word easy.” She laughed at the unintentional double meaning. “Okay, maybe you do. What you’re about to do isn’t my wish yet. This is your punishment. But the same rules apply. If you refuse or complain there will be more added to your sentence.”

“I’ve never shied away from the consequences of losing before. Bring it on, Sylvie.” He smiled, so cocky and self-assured.

She wondered if that smile would stay put once she told him his punishment. “Your punishment is tit for tat. It’s only fair. You’ve seen me, now it’s time for me to see you.”

“See me what? You’re not making any sense.”

She smiled and exhaled a long breath. “Think back to the other day. The bedroom door was open, and you watched me get myself off. I don’t mind you saw me. In fact, once the embarrassment wore off, it turns me on. I want to watch you touch yourself.”

“Get the fuck out. You’re serious?” His brows reached his hairline.

“Yup.” She twirled her hair around her finger, waiting for him to comply. “Every minute you waste talking is another minute in the penalty box. You’re already at three. I suggest you whip it out and get to it.” Sylvie leaned closer, making sure he could see down her shirt. “You know if you don’t follow through it only gets worse. I could make you masturbate someplace much more public.”

“This is such a bad idea.” He squirmed on the bench. “People might come in at any time.”

“You better get a move on then.” She scooted closer to him.

Martin closed his eyes and lowered his sweat pants. “It’s bloody cold in here,” he said, covering his cock with his hand.

“I already know your cock is impressive. A little cold won’t do you any harm. Plus, it will warm quickly with some friction.”

He pulled out his rock, hard cock and stroked the shaft. It was pink and perfectly straight. “This is what you want to see?”

She wanted to see him come. But she wanted to participate. Only she’d wait until the right time to make her next wish. “Yes.” Her voice was breathless as she watched his fingers glide over the plump head.

“Does it make you wet, watching me do this?” His hand moved faster.

She’d never been so wet in her life. No porn in the world compared to seeing him like this. “Did it make you hard, when you watched me?”

“Like a rock. I was so fucking hard I had to rub one out in my car. I can’t stop thinking about your body and the way is arches when you come. So perfect.”

She liked his reaction and what he’d done about it. “You’re awfully hard right now. What are you thinking about?”

“You don’t want to know. How many minutes left?”

It took every ounce of self-control she had not to reach inside her panties and finger herself. “Yes, I do… want to know what’s on your mind. And you’ve got another minute.”

“I’m imagining your hand wrapped about my cock right now.”

She reached over and placed her hand over his. “Like this?” He hissed as her skin made contact with his dick. It was so smooth. He moved his hand from underneath and placed it over hers. They tightened her grip around his shaft. She liked how it filled her hand. “Is this okay? Show me what you like; what you want.”

“Fuck, yes!” He screamed when she squeezed harder and rubbed her thumb over the tip. Then he grabbed her hair and smashed his lips against hers. This kiss was hard and all him. She didn’t ask for it, but she was glad he hadn’t stopped this from happening. She increased the speed, following his lead.

Way more than a minute went by before they heard voices inside the rink. He stopped his hand and kissing her. “We can’t do this any more. Someone is coming.”

“We’re not stopping until someone comes. That person is you.” She kept her hand pumping.

“They could walk in here any second and I’m not making a mess inside here. Besides, my time is up.”

She wasn’t ready for their time to be over. Not yet, not until he came. “Then come in my mouth. There won’t be a mess that way.” She’d had another idea for that wish, but she couldn’t let this moment end like this. Anti-climactic.

“You don’t mean that.” He stiffened more when she lowered her head, breathing over his crown.

“I wish you’d let me.” She licked the tip, and he groaned.

He wrapped her hair around his fist. “Do it. Suck it until I come.” He lifted his hips as she covered him with her mouth.

She circled her tongue around him. He tasted better than she imagined; clean, fresh and way too much to take. It had been a while since she’d done this, but the movements came back to her. She bobbed her head, taking him in and out. He moaned each time she hollowed her cheeks, and he hit the back of her throat. She repeated those actions again and again.

The voices got louder, and she doubled her efforts. There was a high likelihood whoever had arrived was now on the ice. Not that she could see them from her vantage point.

His breathing became more labored. She ran her hands over his thighs and the muscles clenched. She could tell he was close. He held her face and thrust more of himself down her throat. She gagged but didn’t stop.

He pulled her hair as he stilled. “I’m going to… Right. Fucking. Now!” He exploded all over her tongue. The salty mixture coated her mouth as it slid down her throat. He shivered, and she swallowed every drop of his release.

She sucked until he had nothing left and the pulsing stopped. “Was that okay?”

Martin looked down at her with a smile so big, a piece of her broken heart shifted back into place. “Um, amazing. I… I’m not sure what to say about what just happened.”

She sat up and noticed there were three players on the ice. “Don’t say anything. Let’s get out of here, before those guys guess what we’ve been up to.”

They laughed, and he helped her to her feet. He hugged her and planted a kiss on top of her head. Her plan was working. A little too well.

Martin was letting his guard down. Which was a good thing, only she had to let hers down in the process. She was supposed to get him to agree to a fling. That’s all she wanted. Sex with no strings attached. That was the plan, but somehow between his smile and his coming in her mouth, the feelings were growing deeper.

He took her hand and opened the penalty box door. As she gazed into his eyes, Sylvie knew she was in trouble. They couldn’t erase what had happened. As it was, his musky taste would forever be imbedded in her brain. The feel of his cock in her hand and in her mouth, wouldn’t be forgotten. She liked it too much, and she wanted to do that again. She wanted it all. More kissing and more fooling around. Everything.

If she succeeded, and they ended up having sex, it would be difficult to pretend they hadn’t crossed that line and go back to being platonic. Messing around with your best friend was a slippery slope. There were no maps or rules to follow. She had to trust her gut. That scared her because she’d been wrong before. She still had the shattered pieces of her heart to show for it. There was no room for mistakes.

“Montagne, Ivarsson and Smith what the hell are you guys doing here so early on our only day off?” Martin’s voice rang out over the rink, catching the attention of the men skating.

“I thought I saw someone. What were you doing in the sin bin?” Nicolas held up his hands. “Never mind, don’t tell me. Nice to see you again Sylvie.”

Her cheeks burned, and she wiped her face, making sure there was no evidence left behind. “Hi. We… I was taking off my skates.” She held them up.

“Guess we’re not the only ones who believed last night’s game sucked big time.” Theo Montagne adjusted his glove. “It’s too bad we missed you guys. Are you willing to stick around or have you got places to go?”

Martin looked at her. “We—”

“Have plans and can’t. We already changed, but another time,” Sylvie answered.

Cameron Smith nodded. His boy next door dimples flashed as he smiled. “Yeah, Thomas said you’re a decent hockey player and that you’re only in the city for a short time. It’s cool you came out so early to cheer him on. I wish I had friends that dedicated to helping me succeed.”

Ivarsson tapped his arm. “You’ve got us. This team sticks together and helps each other.”

“Best team in the league.” Martin beamed as he spoke.

She was so proud of him. Guilt pricked at the back of her head. Sex and all her stupid plans could wait. Hockey came first. “If you want to stay, we can. I don’t mind.”

“Really?” He leaned over and whispered in her ear. “Don’t you have a full day of wishes for me to grant? More naughty games to play.” His voice seduced her senses. Her self-esteem took a giant leap forward. He wanted to keep playing her silly games.

“Being with your team is more important. This will earn me one more wish. Wouldn’t you agree?” She winked.

“Your wish is my command.” He kissed her on the cheek and smacked her ass before running off the ice to suit up. The kiss didn’t tell the world they were together, but it was still a kiss. She considered their trip to the rink a success. Foreplay and hockey went together so nicely.
