Chapter 14 – Brenna
I pushed Beast off of me. I could feel his cum leaking out of me and the feeling was starting to get uncomfortable. I was not someone who could just fall asleep after sex without getting cleaned up.
He pulled out of me and rolled over onto his back, giving me the opportunity to get up and head into the bathroom. When I stood up he smacked my ass, causing me to jump and turn to give him a mock glare. “Watch it, bub.”
He just smiled at me and lay back with his eyes closed, lying there in all of his naked glory. If I wasn’t so exhausted and didn’t have to work a 12 hour shift tomorrow, I would join him back in the bed and have my way with him again. Oh well, next time I had a day off I’d make sure we could spend the day together in bed.
When I came back in from the bedroom, he had gotten under the sheets on his side of the bed and pulled the comforter back inviting me in. Leaning down, I picked up my nightie from the floor.
“What are you doing baby?”
I stopped what I was doing and looked over to Beast with a raised brow. “Really? I’m putting my pajamas back on.”
He shook his head and leaned over grabbing the bottom of the nightie, pulling it away from me and throwing it over into the corner. “You don’t need pajamas. I’ll keep you warm, now get your ass in bed.”
With a shrug I decided to let him get his way this time. He was getting his way a lot today and I had to make sure that didn’t happen all of the time.
Setting my alarm, I got up on the bed and turned facing the doorway with my back towards Beast. He came up behind me and put one arm under my head and the other wrapped around my waist. I wasn’t someone who liked to spoon while I slept, but it felt so good I was willing to give it a try.
Beast leaned his head into me and gave me a kiss on the cheek. “What time did you set your alarm for?”
“I have to be up at 6. My shift is 7 to 7 tomorrow.”
“Damn that’s an early start for a long day. Okay baby. Go to sleep and I’ll see you in the morning.”
I snuggled back into him, causing him to groan, and fell asleep with a smile on my face.
The blaring of my alarm woke me with a start and when I moved to turn it off Beast growled at me and squeezed me tightly into his body.
“Beast, I have to turn that off and get up.”
“Okay turn it off, but I need another minute before you can get up.”
I pushed out of his arms and turned off the alarm and then turned over to see him leaning up on his elbow staring at me with a small smile on his face.
“What has you smiling at this ungodly hour?”
He shakes his head and leans in to give me a kiss, but I pull away. I have morning breath and don’t want him to kiss me until I’ve brushed my teeth.
“Why are you pulling away from me?”
I put my hand in front of my mouth and mutter “morning breath.”
“Oh baby, I don’t care. Come here and give me a kiss.”
I quickly leaned in and gave him a peck on the lips before rolling out of the bed and running into the bathroom with a laugh.
I hadn’t planned on having a shower today, but after our activities of last night I needed one, even if it was going to have to be a fast one. When I jumped out of the shower, Beast was leaning in the doorway staring at me. “Enjoy the show?”
He stepped away from the doorway and grabbed my wet naked body to him. “Yeah baby. Any time I get to see you naked is a good time.”
I gave him a squeeze and pushed on his chest. “I have to get going. I can’t afford to be late again and I still need to get my lunch ready.”
“You take your time getting ready baby. Text me when you are going to take your break and I’ll bring lunch. We still have a lot to learn about each other so we might as well start sooner rather than later.”
“Are you sure? I don’t want to interrupt your busy day and I don’t always know when my break is going to be until last minute.”
“Yeah, I’m sure. As long as you can give me enough notice to get there we should be good to go.”
I went back into my bedroom and got dressed, taking my time since he had given me a few extra minutes with his generous offer. Once I was dressed, I turned to go back to the washroom and brush my teeth and stopped in the doorway as something hit me. Today is the first day I didn’t have to throw up as soon as I stepped foot out of bed. I didn’t expect it to last, but as long as I could get to work without having to pull over I would be happy.
“You okay baby?” Beast had followed me into the bedroom to get dressed himself and must have noticed that I had stopped in the doorway.
“Yeah, everything is great. A thought just hit me is all. I’m going to finish getting ready.”
I walked back into the bathroom and finished up my morning routine of brushing my hair, brushing my teeth, and putting minimal makeup on.
Coming back into the bedroom, Beast wasn’t there and I figured he took off to get his day started, but once I started walking through the house I could hear him moving around in the kitchen.
When I entered the kitchen I saw him digging through the fridge. “Whatcha looking for?”
“Shit!”
I must have surprised him because he jumped up when I spoke and hit his head on the top of the fridge. He backed out of the fridge rubbing the top of his head and gave me a mock glare. I’m sure he could see that I was trying hard not to laugh.
“You think that’s funny Baby Girl?”
He was stalking toward me with a look of a predator. I was backing away from him and ran into the wall. He crowded me into the wall, his arms blocking me in. I looked up at him and bit my lip trying not to laugh at him.
“No not at all, it’s not funny at all that a big badass like you can be scared of little old me.”
“Scared? You think I was scared?!”
He leaned forward and whispered in my ear, “there’s nothing about you that scares me baby.”
“Oh my God! Stop tickling me!” While he was distracting me with the feel of his breath on my neck he had moved his hands down and started tickling me. I hated being tickled, but I loved the look of glee on his face.
“You going to take back calling me scared?”
“I take it back! I take it back!!!”
He leaned back with a satisfied grin on his face. “You just gave yourself away Bren. Now I know all I have to do is tickle you to get what I want.”
Shit, he was right. Oh well, two could play at this game. I grabbed his balls and gently squeezed them in my hand. “You better watch yourself buddy, two can play at this game.”
He gently pulled my hand away from his junk and backed away. “You play dirty baby.”
“Don’t doubt it. Now what were you doing in the fridge?”
“I was looking for something to make us for breakfast. Your fridge is bare babe.”
“I know. I need to go grocery shopping after work.”
“I’ll take care of that. Send me a list of what you want and give me a spare key and I’ll get one of the prospects on it.”
“You don’t have to do that Beast. I am plenty capable of taking care of myself.”
“Baby Girl, I know that you are capable, but why not take the helping hand when you can? Besides, that way I can get a spare key out of you.”
I shook my head at him and laughed. “Ahhh, so there’s an ulterior motive huh?”
I walked up to my junk drawer and rummaged
around until I found my spare house key. I then walked up to the fridge and grabbed the grocery list I had pinned up there and handed them both over to him.
“Thank you for your help, I appreciate it. I wasn’t looking forward to stopping after my shift. I’ve got to get going so I can pick up some breakfast on my way in to work. Let yourself out and I’ll text you about my lunch break.”
I gave him a quick kiss and started walking to the front of the house so that I could grab my purse and put my shoes on. Opening the front door I turned to see Beast right behind me with his boots on his feet and keys in his hand.
“I’ll follow you out Bren. I might as well head in and get some work out of the way before our lunch date.”
