Quinn
It’s been two days since Holly has talked to us. She’ll smile and wave when she sees us and says thanks at the end of the night when one of us drops her off at her car. Other than that, nothing. I’m tired of waiting for her to come around. She’s off tonight, and I’ve enlisted the girls to get her over to the Pres’ house for the Christmas party.
Jasper walks out of his room, and I can’t help but steal a look at him as he walks past me into the kitchen to grab a beer. He’s wearing a white henley with his cut and a pair of jeans that fit just right against his tight ass. I don’t know where these feelings came from or when they started. I’ve never been attracted to a man before. Over the last few months, though, I’ve noticed and admired things about him in more than a friendly way.
I watch him pop the top off his beer and take a long drink. His Adam’s Apple bobs in his throat, and I want nothing more than to sink my teeth into his throat and suck on his skin there. He clears his throat, and I realize he’s caught me staring. Fuck me.
I look away and grab my shit, stuffing my phone and wallet into my back pockets. “You ready to go?” I ask, giving myself an excuse not to look at him.
“You doing okay Quinn?” He asks from my side.
“Yep. Just ready to see our woman. She should be there by now. Let’s go.” I don’t wait for Jasper to respond. I walk out of our house walking to my bike and hop on. Jasper locks up and follows me by getting on his.
Jasper and I served in the Army together from the time we were eighteen until we got out five years ago. Jasper’s grandmother lived here, but that was the only family either of us had to speak of. I followed him here, and we ended up moving in with his grandmother to help her around her big house. Mema Annie died three years ago and left it to Jasper.
Twenty minutes later we pull up to Pres’ house. Even with my confused feelings for my best friend hanging in the back of my mind, I’m thrilled I’ll finally be seeing Holly.
“Holly’s been running from us for two days. Now she’s got nothing but time, and I’ll chase her all around the damn house if that’s what it takes to steal another kiss from those lips.” Jasper says grinning.
“Good thing there’s two of us, you take one direction, and I’ll take the other.”
He laughs, and I follow him around the house where most of the Steel Daggers are surrounding the fire. There are a few chairs surrounding it, which makes it easier for me to find Holly.
“What the fuck is Triton doing so close to Holly?” Jasper growls.
We charge ahead not stopping to talk to any of our brothers who say hello. Jasper gets to them first and shoves Triton on his ass. Who the fuck does he think he is getting close to our woman?
“Jasper! What are you doing?” Holly cries out.
“He shouldn’t be this close to you. Not you!” Jasper seethes, still looking at Triton on the ground.
Triton holds his hands up in front of his chest, palms flat. “Easy brother, I know she’s yours.”
He gets to his feet and begins to walk away before he turns back and says, “I’ll talk to you about it later Hell’s Bells.”
She bites her lip and nods.
He walks away leaving both Jasper and me looking at each other wondering what the hell just happened. Holly watches Triton walk away with a worried look written all over her face.
I stand behind our woman and place both hands on her shoulders, letting all the mother fuckers in this club know she’s taken, claimed, mine. Fuck, she’s ours! I glare at the crowd who have gathered, catching their eyes. This club is full of horny single men except for our Pres and Rock. They nod, acknowledging the claim.
I glide my hand through her hair and tug lightly, so she’s looking up at me from her seat. “Hey, Precious. Miss me?” I ask before kissing her. She gasps and provides the perfect opportunity for me to slip my tongue into her sweet mouth. When she moans and starts kissing me back I know, she’s feeling what’s going on between the three of us.
When I pull away, Jasper is there crouched in front of her, rubbing his hands up and down her thighs.
“My turn baby?” He pulls her up to standing then immediately leans down and kisses her gently. I stand behind her, holding her hips against my front while Jasper ravishes her mouth.
“What the hell was that?” She questions, pulling away from Jasp.
“A kiss?” Jasper looks at her like she’s crazy.
I nip her ear and she trembles in my arms. “That was us letting everyone know you’re ours.”
“Yours?” She croaks, then pushes out of our embrace. “I hardly know you. Both of you! Shit, how do people even do this?”
“We could show you,” Jasper says wiggling his eyebrows.
Holly rolls her eyes with a smile ghosting her lips. “I need a drink.”
“I’ll go with you Precious. I could use something myself.”
She holds up her palm, stopping me. “Good. You two stay here, and I’ll bring you both out something. I just… I need a moment.”
“Five minutes, babe. I can’t have you out of my sight for long, even if the house is gated and surrounded by Steel Daggers.”
She shakes her head and walks away.
Why is she still pushing us away? Is she unsure of what people will think if she’s with two men?
“What do you think Triton was talking to Holly about?” Jasper asks me.
“I’m not sure. I don’t think he was hitting on her though, he wouldn’t lie about that, not to us. Something’s not adding up here.”
