Ethan knew he was taking a chance as his hand drifted over Daniel's leg, but when the other man shifted to face him more, he knew it had paid off. Hell, he'd also taken a chance calling Danny over here to begin with; he wasn't really one Ethan would have thought of as being emotionally supportive -- after all, he was a cop -- but he'd shown up. He'd done more than show up; he'd done his best to help. Ethan didn't want to think too hard about how much that meant to him.

"We'll have to live pretty close," Ethan continued, his hand moving up over Daniel's hip, drifting over his stomach and up his chest. "Almost right up underneath each other, even." Ethan glanced up, meeting Daniel's eyes.

"I could probably live with that," Daniel replied. He was leaning in closer, his eyes dark. Ethan sucked in his breath; he hadn't thought to see that look on Danny's face ever again, and now he wanted nothing more than to keep it there. He reached up, hooking a hand around the back of Danny's neck, and pulled him in close for a kiss.

It was less careful, less gentle than last time. It was an immediate clashing of lips and teeth and tongue, both men warring for dominance in a fight neither was sure they wanted to win. When Daniel pulled back a little to catch his breath, he didn't pull away, but continued kissing his way down Ethan's jaw, nipping at the sharp corner under his ear before moving on to the other man's neck.

Ethan let his head drop back, a groan escaping his lips as Daniel dragged his lips down Ethan's neck. When he reached the collar of Ethan's shirt, Ethan pulled back just long enough to swing one leg over Daniel's lap, straddling his legs. He felt, more than heard, Daniel suck in a breath, and grinned at having taken him by surprise.

Daniel let out a sound that sounded a lot like a low growl as he reached up, tangling his fingers in Ethan's hair and dragging him in for another kiss, hard and passionate. Ethan's hands settled on Danny's shoulders, his fingers finding purchase on the ample muscle there. It wasn't enough, though; he wanted skin.

Ethan broke the kiss, panting as he pulled away, his fingers plucking at Daniel's shirt insistently. "Off," he demanded. Daniel nodded, eyes glazed over with desire as he raised his arms, allowing Ethan to pull the offending garment off. Ethan tugged his own shirt off as well; he didn't put any effort into making a show of it, but that didn't stop Daniel from watching him, his eyes taking in every inch hungrily as it was revealed.

The second his shirt had been peeled away, Ethan was leaning in again, running his hands down Daniel's chest as he met his lips for another kiss. He felt Daniel's hands, large and warm, run down his back, leaving trails of goosebumps in their wake. His hands settled briefly on Ethan's hips before moving back and down, gripping his ass and pulling his hips in close.

Ethan pulled away from the kiss with a gasp, shuddering with pleasure as Daniel's movement caused their groins to come into contact where Ethan's erection was already straining at the seams of his jeans. Already starved for more of that contact, Ethan rolled his hips forward into Daniel's also-prominent erection before pressing back into the other man's hands.

Daniel's head dropped back as he groaned in pleasure at the movement, his fingers tightening on Ethan's ass. Ethan took advantage of the position to lean down, kissing and nipping his way across Daniel's chest.

"Damn, Danny," he breathed, dragging his teeth lightly over pecs that were much larger than the last time he had seen them. "The years have been kind to you," he said with a chuckle. He paused, closing his teeth ever-so-lightly on a tempting nipple, and grinned when he was rewarded with a swiftly indrawn breath.

"Bed," Daniel said, his voice rough. "I want you in bed." Ethan rolled his eyes.

"So bossy," he said, sitting back and regarding Daniel with a raised eyebrow. "I can see some advantages to staying right here," he added, rolling his hips as he spoke. Daniel sucked in a breath as their erections came into contact again, the friction of the jeans between them only adding to the anticipation. With a growl, Daniel surged forward, standing up and bringing Ethan with him, lifting him by the firm grip he still had on the smaller man's ass.

Ethan gasped at the sudden movement, wrapping his arms around Daniel's neck. Ethan was far from tiny, but Daniel had put on a lot of muscle since college, and was lifting him like he weighed nothing.

He had to admit, it was kind of hot.

"You have a point," Daniel spoke as he walked across the room, kissing and licking his way down Ethan's neck as he spoke. "But I can't get your pants off while you're straddling me, and that's a crying shame." When they got to the bed, Daniel paused, standing upright and still holding Ethan aloft as he sucked on his neck, his teeth working lightly as he formed a bruise that would likely be visible for days. He leaned back to look at his handiwork, smiled wolfishly, then tossed Ethan down onto the bed.

Both men took advantage of the brief separation to wiggle out of their jeans, shucking them along with their underwear and taking a moment to look at each other. Despite seemingly being happy to take charge of the situation just seconds earlier, Daniel hesitated before speaking.

"Are you sure you want this?" With an annoyed huff, Ethan pushed himself up onto his elbows.

"Yes, I'm sure I want you to fuck me. Or for me to fuck you. I'm not picky," he said, his eyes trailing down Daniel's body. If there was going to be a delay, he might as well enjoy it, right? Daniel's lips turned up into a smile, an expression Ethan wasn't sure he'd seen on Danny's face since they'd encountered each other a few weeks ago.

Daniel joined him on the bed, and they spent several minutes getting to know each others' bodies again, mapping out the new hills and valleys, reacquainting themselves with familiar lines and scents. When Ethan simply couldn't take anymore, he paused a moment to dig around in the drawer beside the bed, emerging with a small bottle of lube; a bit old and half-empty, but still usable.

"Any preferences?" Daniel asked, his hands moving restlessly up and down Ethan's side. Ethan stretched languidly under the attention.

"Like I said, I'm flexible."

"One of my favorite things about you, honestly," Daniel said, grinning. "I think…" His hands ran down Ethan's sides, then lower, reaching around behind him and sliding a finger between his cheeks. "I think I'd like to be inside you." Ethan groaned at the words, arching his back so that Daniel's fingers slid lower, bumping up against his entrance.

The lube made a mess -- it always did -- but it did its job, and Daniel delighted in it, spreading the slick liquid, opening Ethan up. It only took a couple of minutes, but it felt like years to Ethan, who felt pried wide open, practically vibrating with pleasure as Daniel worked him open.

There was a brief pause as Ethan reached out, digging through his side table for a long-forgotten condom. He tossed the square of plastic at Daniel, who accepted it with one hand while stroking Ethan's erection slowly, teasingly with the other.
