Glock (The Bad Disciples MC Book 4) by Savannah Rylan (50)

Chapter 5

Logan

“Arnold Brenner just called. He has to reschedule the meeting for this afternoon…”

“I don’t care!” Logan yelled at his secretary.

“Um, ok…” she began.

“Am I the only one here who is doing any work at all? Can’t any of you make a single decision without me? You know me well enough that you know what I will say to most things that arise. Just deal with it!”

“I’m sorry—” Kris began.

“Sorry! You are always sorry! I don’t care how sorry you are. Just do something right so you can stop being sorry!”

Kris looked as if she was about to hyperventilate but Logan didn’t care. The rage was coursing through his body and he was seeing nothing but blood everywhere. He wanted to break something and he was not sure what it might end up being.

“Hey, there is no need for that!” Jessica chimed in. “There is a limit to the abuse we will take.”

Logan found himself laughing. For some reason, Jessica’s newfound backbone was funny to him.

“That’s hysterical,” Logan said. “You think this is abuse? You think demanding my employees whose six figure salaries I pay for being secretaries do their jobs with a modicum of actual competency is abuse? That is hysterical!”

Jessica was glaring daggers at him. It was kind of a turn on actually.

“You are crossing a line here, Logan. You need to watch yourself. I don’t know what is wrong with you, but get some help.”

Logan had an impulse to scream in her face and fire her, but Jessica was the best executive level assistant around. She would be snatched up very quickly by someone else in a heartbeat. Besides he admired the balls it took for her to stand up to him. He respected strength in people.

And deep down he knew he was in the wrong. He knew he needed some help. He wasn’t sure what was wrong with him, but the rage inside was really starting to eat him alive.

Logan moved close to Jessica and barely above a whisper said, “I know.”

Jessica was taken aback and he thought for a moment she might cry, but he stormed off down the hall and slammed his office door behind him.

Logan stood there for a moment, his heart beating wildly in his chest and ringing in his ears. He had to calm down.

He grabbed the whiskey glass from his mini bar, a few ice cubes, and poured the whiskey slow listening to the crackle of the ice cubes settling into the liquid, mixing the flavors together perfectly. He then grabbed a small bottle of water purified water and carefully added three drops to the whiskey. It was that kind of day.

He settled into his plush leather office chair and tried to relax. It was working. The air conditioning above him was on high cranking the cool air over him even though the day outside was chili welcoming an early, brisk fall to the New England states. He let his mind wander

That girl…

He could not get her out of his mind. As he sat there replaying the scene over and over in his mind he realized why he was so angry. He’d acted like a complete jackass at the restaurant. He was in a bad mood anyway, which was starting to become his normal temperament, and then Tony decided to up the ante on the deal they were putting together and ask for a much higher return on his investment than they’d already agreed to before. Logan would force him to come down a little bit so as to compromise and not give in to pressure, but to ask for more in the first place was insulting. They’d worked together for a long time.

Logan had noticed the girl the moment he walked into the restaurant. She was beautiful with long brown hair a pale skin. She had a light dusting of freckles around her nose, and Logan could easily tell that she wasn’t from New York City. She looked as though she had just stepped off the bus from Kansas.

Then the old guy had staggered around and spilled wine on his expensive Armani suit. It had taken him a few minutes to gather that the man had dementia and had no idea what he’d done or where he was. Logan felt sorry for him at that point and was really sorry he’d yelled at him. But apologizing was a sign of weakness and that was not something that Logan was accustomed to. It was not the way he was made.

Then the girl. She was so sweet, and so beautiful. Her face was angelic and perfect like something sent from Heaven to save him. There was a calm overwhelming feeling of peace and serenity that he was not used to that had fallen over him like some kind of a light shroud at that moment. It was confusing. He wasn’t sure what to make of it, and that angered him more.

Afterwards when he realized how stupid he’d looked when he became filled with rage. Being embarrassed was not something he had ever handled well. He should have just laughed it off and said it was ok. He was a billionaire. He had Armani suits filling every inch of closet space he owned practically. Why did he act that way?

“What the hell is wrong with me?” He muttered aloud.

Maybe he really should speak with someone about his rage issues. There had to be a way to do it in total secret. Maybe that was the way to go. He was going to give the matter some serious thought.

The girl…

She was so perfect. And he would be seeing her again tomorrow morning. He’d kind of hired her, at least temporarily. But he might keep her as long as she wanted to stay. He knew that already. She was no ordinary girl. For the first time since Rachel, he’d actually considered really being with someone. He guessed that was some progress. But it might just be the special “it” factor that this girl had, some kind of a possession and influence over him.

The idea was intriguing and he was interested to see how it might play out. She was going to be doing mostly clerical work and picking up the slack for Kris and Jessica, if Jessica still wanted to work there anyway. After that meltdown, he might no longer have either of them, but hopefully he would smooth it over some way in the next few days.

He wondered what this girl would wear tomorrow. How would she act? Did she even find him attractive? It was an odd question he never really asked himself before. He assumed all women pretty much found him to be appealing and if they didn’t there were plenty more who did. He’d had that attitude his whole life even before the riches.

Logan could imagine the girl doing some cleaning in his office. Oh, he liked that. He would ask her to straighten up a few things in his personal office and maybe run some errands for him.

He could see it now. She would be cleaning his desk, waxing it with just the right amount of pressure and the right amount of wax so that it didn’t get sticky or too shiny. He liked the mahogany to maintain a certain dark quality to it to make it look antique.

She would be bent over while he just sat there and watched. She would probably be uncomfortable with him sitting on the couch just observing or perhaps going over some reports on his laptop.

He would become overcome with lust at some point. That would not be too hard to envision. Logan would saunter over to her and stand behind her. She would be somewhat timid, a little unsure at first of what was happening or how she should respond. Of course, she would look adorable while she did it. That sweet little face would just be perfect.

He would gently brush her cheek with the back of his finger and as she sheepishly looked up at him he would bend over and kiss her sweetly on the lips at first. Just nice and easy to test the waters. No sense in scaring her off.

She would respond no doubt to him and then he would lean in again and kiss her more deeply this time. She would follow suit as he grabbed her soft, curvy body and held it close to him. Her large, fleshy chest would press against his and he would reach below the arch of her back and let her lean back just slightly.

He was getting hard just thinking about it. He wished she were here right now. He could imagine his hands spinning her body around and pulling up her skirt. The panties would be exposed to him and he would casually pull them down to showcase her perfect ass.

Logan loved the smell of a woman’s essence. It was a perfect combination of addictive properties and he had become addicted at a very young age.

Logan would bend her over and kneel down, spreading her cheeks widely with his hands and take in the sweet view. Those beautiful orifices exposed, the honey dripping from the root of her passion. He would insert a finger slowly at first to draw the wetness out and get the sweet juices running.

Then he would continue to finger her softly at first and getting harder all the time, deeper, stretching her out. He liked a woman to be nice and fully prepared for entry before he got down to it.

Logan could see himself standing up at that point and pulling himself out of his pants, letting the trousers fall to the floor around his ankles. He would then give her all nine inches of himself, entering her in slow methodical thrusts.

He imagined she would feel like the sweetest elixir ever created coaxing and drawing every ounce of pleasure out of his appendage. He would eventually get going hard enough that each thrust lifted her tiny body up off the floor a bit. She would be biting her lips to keep from calling out in total bliss as the two of them worked towards a mutual climax that would leave them both weak in the legs for a week.

Logan’s phone rang right then on his desk.

“Ugh!”

He grabbed the phone off the hook. “Yes?”

His voice already sounded much calmer.

“Um, sir it is Mr. Price on line one,” Kris said.

“Ok,” Logan replied trying to smile to soften his voice. “Thanks Kris.”

“Sure,” Kris said.

Logan took a breath and answered line one.

Back to work. The fun never stopped sometimes.
