I really tried my hardest not to laugh, but a pixie was on the floor wrestling with a six-foot-something man mountain and I’d have to say things were pretty much even. They left, leaving me in the room with Henry who stood glowering.
“If you want to get showered, I’ll run your clothes through the machine.”

“This is Kai. He is the leader of the Mermen.” Shelley introduced me. “His merman legs turn into these funky trousers. Groovy aren’t they?” Shelley’s face was sending clear signals that this was not the time for me to dish out fashion advice.

When I turned Henry was behind me.
