Epilogue
One Month Later…..

I gaze at myself in the full-length mirror in the guest house at Brooklyn's home, knowing I need to get my butt into gear and go inside to give Brooklyn a hand to get into her dress. She warned last night it would be all hands on deck to get the thing on her, she even demanded Katherine bring a needle and thread to sew the bitch on her if she has to. No-one argued with her, with the way her hormones are right now, you never know what she might do. I like my life, actually I love my life so we just nodded. Kat and I shared a look when Dominic walked in and started telling her she was over reacting, for a mob boss he really isn't a smart man at all.
As for Sergio, he's amazing and still sexy as fuck to me. I doubt my opinion about that will change anytime soon. He finally confessed to me that the safe house we live in is actually his place. He said he hadn't had a use for it until I came along as it was easier for him to be at the guest house, close for when the Boss needed him. I didn't understand until he explained he was Dominic's personal bodyguard. I told him I was happy to stay at the guest house if that was what he preferred but, he reminded me how loud I am when we have sex and said he didn't want anyone hearing me. Sergio also liked being at his house because we could stay naked and he could have me anytime without someone walking in on us.
Turning my attention back to the image in the mirror, I can see how much I've changed in the past few months. My skin is clear with a healthy glow and according to Sergio, my eyes shine.
I feel his presence before I see him, when he enters the room, the energy changes and my body responds. Looking over my shoulder, I find him standing in the doorway studying me. He's wearing a suit which is molded to every part of his body, I lick my lips. Fuck he's sexy. I watch as his eyes take me in from head to toe and I have to squeeze my thighs together to prevent the ache which is building.
He crosses the distance between us in seconds and his mouth captures mine, I moan at the contact. When he pulls away, I watch as his eyes travel down my neck to my chest and a smile curves my lips. I shake my head, knowing exactly what it is that he'd prefer to be doing.
"Not this morning, Knuckles. I need to get my butt over to Brooklyn or would you prefer to deal with a very pregnant, hormonal, upset woman? I sure as shit don't want to upset her."
I laugh when his eyes widen and he shakes his head, my man isn't silly.
"Fanculo, Dominic digs a big enough hole every time he opens his mouth and I'm not joining him." He laughs and I turn back to the mirror to fix my lipstick.
Sergio reaches out and places a necklace around my neck and I gasp, it's absolutely stunning.
"Sergio…." I gasp again and run my fingers down the platinum chain to the crystal which hangs between my breasts. When I lift it, I see the delicate dandelion puff trapped inside. My eyes tear up, I turn and bury my face in Sergio's chest.
"Sugar, I love you." He kisses the top of my head.
Lifting my head, I grip his jacket in my fingers.
"Now, if there are no dandelions around to wish on, you only need to hold this in your hand."
He runs his fingertips down the side of my face and I shiver at the contact. Maybe we have time for a quickie after all? Standing on tiptoes, I brush my lips over his and tell him a secret I had intended to save for later.
"I love you, Sergio." I step back but stay focused on those midnight eyes which calm my soul. "I'm pregnant."
I watch and see the moment the words register; his eyes widen and his mouth slams down on mine. I moan and have every intention of stripping him out of his sexy suit when loud banging sounds at the door.
"Break it up, lovebirds. Kirsty, you are not fucking leaving me with Brooklyn. I love that woman but it's not happening so get your ass out here now."
I laugh at Kat and know I can't do it to her. After planting a kiss to Sergio's lips, I wriggle from his hold and head to the door.
"I'm the happiest man in the world, Sugar." I pause with my hand on the doorknob and smile over my shoulder.
"So am I, Knuckles."
I blow him a kiss and as I leave I hear him mutter, "wait until tonight."
My whole body ignites like a wildfire and I know the feeling will remain until I have Sergio buried deep inside me.
