The Biker's Virgin: A Brass Bonds MC Romance by A.J. Wynter (47)

Lauren got there first. She had gone to the hotel room like she planned and she slept for two hours. Then she got up, showered and went down to the business center at 6:00 am when it opened. She spent the next half hour making copies of the files she took with her from the office. When she was done, she locked the copies up in the hotel safe and went to meet Peter with the originals.

The Bridgeway was located between the hotel and the office. It was a coffee house that offered quality breakfast at a price that made sense for all. At least, that’s what it said on its custom paper placemats. She sipped her coffee while she waited for Peter to arrive. She had no idea where she was going to tell him that she slept, but she wasn’t ready to tell him the truth yet.

At 7:15 a.m., Peter rushed through the door. His eyes scanned the room looking for her and his face actually seemed relieved when he finally spotted her.

Bullshit. Lauren thought to herself. There was no way he was happy to see her. She smiled, nonetheless, as she watched him approach. “Good morning, Peter.”

She watched him slide into the booth as he peeled his scarf off. A waitress was at the table right behind him taking a coffee order. He scowled at Lauren after the waitress left.

“What do you think you are doing? Who were you with last night? Where did you sleep?”

He looked around to make sure people were not staring even though his voice hadn’t raised higher than a normal conversation. Lauren found this amusing and for the first time she realized something about Peter, he was all for show. Peter was an actor and now her eyes were opened wide to it. There was no way he was the brains in this scam. He was merely a pawn, just like she was. Just like Jasper was.

She smiled, “Peter, I’m fine. I just went to the library and then I went back to the office and fell asleep there doing this research. Hey, I want to make a good impression on Darla. I kind of messed up yesterday and I really just want to show her I care about my job. I thought you of all people would understand.” Lying and guilt-tripping, Lauren could learn to like this. She touched his hand for added effect and gave him a puppy-like gaze.

Peter pulled his hand away, “Lauren, if you’re having an affair, so help me!” He was angry, and as he was about to continue his ridiculously hypocritical conversation, the waitress approached their table and set down his coffee. They both took a minute to order breakfast.

Once the waitress left a second time, Lauren started laughing. Peter was such a hypocrite, but she let him believe that she thought he was just being silly in accusing her.

“Peter, no please. C’mon. I’m not doing anything of the sort. Why are you acting so suspicious? It was one night away from you. I just got caught up in trying to help my boss and look good at work. Don’t worry. Really everything is fine. Maybe you can even help me, tonight, when I get home.”

She touched her toe to his leg now and caressed it up and down his leg. Darla wasn’t the only one that knew the way to Peter’s heart, mind and secrets.

Peter smiled at her and looked around to see if anyone was nearby. Then, he leaned across the table, and grasped her hand.

“Lauren, you really gave me a scare not coming home last night. You were so upset when you left. I thought it was something I had done.” His other hand slid under the table and caressed her knee.

“Goodness no, Peter. You are so perfect in every way. I was just having trouble dealing with the stress of a new job. Hey, did you bring my stuff?” She noticed he hadn’t come in with it.

“Yes, princess. It’s in the car. When we leave, I’ll give it to you. Now … tell me how I can help you adjust.” He wiggled his brows and reached for her calf under the table, pulling it up so her foot was between his legs. He slipped off her shoe so he could place her foot against his crotch.

Lauren was amazed by his appetite for sex. It was in this instant she imagined Darla wearing chaps and slapping a riding crop against Peter’s bare ass while he had a horse bit in his mouth. Darla would definitely be the dominant lover.

“It’s this Lucas Jackson murder. Did you know he helped build the Triumph Towers? Some say he was responsible for bringing the deal to the city and that it was a huge improvement for the city.” She asked, shaking the Darla Dominatrix from her mind. She watched his face as she spoke and she moved her foot gently against his crotch.

“Yes, yes … that’s what they say.” But his tone was disengaged as if he didn’t buy it himself. He was growing firmer through his pants under her foot.

“You don’t seem to think so? Why not?” She sipped her coffee as her foot rubbed him steadily.

Peter moved his coat to the outside of their booth. It was fluffed up to disguise what was going on in his lap, “Lucas was nothing more than a glorified real estate agent. Lucas got lucky when he stepped into that deal. Well lucky, yet unlucky. That thug, Jasper Connor killed him over nothing more than a torrid love affair.”

Lauren stopped rubbing a moment and Peter looked at her. She hadn’t mentioned Jasper Connor or the murder yet. Not that it wasn’t looming in the air, but Peter went right to it. Why? She looked at him confused and he sensed he’d made a mistake bringing it up too soon. The moment hung in the air between them and Lauren couldn’t hide the fact that she felt he knew something more. She knew the next question she asked him would be pivotal. However, she was having trouble picking a path quick enough to keep the conversation growing, so she started to foot rub his cock again to buy some time. He pursed his lips which told her he wanted to enjoy it but now his mind was preoccupied.

“Did you personally know Lucas Jackson and his fiancé? You must have crossed paths with him at some point.” The waitress appeared with their food and Lauren smiled up at her thankfully. Lauren took the opportunity to withdraw her foot from Peter’s crotch.

Peter frowned but thanked the waitress, and picked up the conversation right where HE had left off, “Lauren, what time will you be home tonight? I think we need some alone time.” His hand was feeling around for her leg under the table as if he intended on putting her foot right back.

Lauren was sure to pull her legs out of reach, “Peter, I know you have this insatiable sexual appetite. I get it, but can’t we just have a simple conversation? I could really use your help here. I really want to impress Darla Lovell and do a good job on the case.” Her eyes pleaded with him as they had done in the past, mostly when she wanted a new dress or some shoes.

Peter inhaled sharply and then exhaled slowly. “Ok princess, but if you really want to impress Darla, I recommend you back off and just let her handle the case. Don’t go snooping too deep. Lucas was just a run of the mill real estate agent, like I said. Darla knows what she’s doing.”

It was Peter’s job to just distract Lauren and discourage her from digging any deeper. The beauty of Peter McElroy, however, is that he was extremely narcissistic and a sexual deviant on such a level that would clinically qualify as an addiction. No one but Darla and a few underground “friends” knew this, not even Lauren. At this moment he thought he was doing an excellent job of distracting Lauren with sexual advances and passively dismissing her attempts at learning more about Lucas Jackson. Obviously, he was wrong.

Lauren licked her lips as she considered his demeanor. Then she spoke carefully, “You know Peter, I think tonight when I get home, we should get a little kinky. This job has been giving me some newfound confidence.”

Peter immediately sat straight up in his seat, “What do you mean by kinky, princess?” He always took Lauren to be rather vanilla and he’d spent their time together trying to broaden her horizons. Now he looked at her hopefully as she spoke his language.

Lauren looked around to make sure no one could hear, “Well, I have to meet with Darla and then do a quick background check on something that popped up about Lucas Jackson …” She was bluffing, “But then I think I’ll ask Darla if I can leave a little early, you know – since I was working so late last night. How would you like to come home to me wearing something leathery and … strappy?”

Peter shifted in his seat, “Strappy on you or strappy on me?” He lifted his brows in anticipation.

Lauren smiled, “Well, you know that thing you’ve always wanted me to do to you? I think I’m ready. You know, I see Darla and how confident and sexy she is, and I want to be like that too.”

She crinkled her nose as she smiled at him thinking about it. Inside, he repulsed her and not because of the kinky sex. She had no issue with kinky things. Her problem was that the veil was lifted and now she saw Peter for what he truly was – a lapdog panting at any bone he could get. How easy it must have been for Darla to manipulate him. He was so utterly transparent now that he was no longer Prince Charming.

“Lauren, you’re driving me crazy. What time will you be home? I’ll free up all my late appointments.” His fingers were gripping the edge of the table thinking of it.

“I’ll be home as soon as I get my verifications done. I need to see if Lucas has any ownership in the Triumph Towers deal and then I’ll be on my way.” She smiled now as she lifted her toes to his crotch but instead of playing with his cock, she slipped them underneath his scrotum toward his ass.

Peter’s eyes fluttered and he moaned softly, “No, I told you. He was just a pawn.” Images of Lauren behind him, taking control were already clouding his mind. That’s when Lauren realized, if she did just bend Peter over like he’d been fantasizing about, he’d probably tell her everything.

“I’ll be home no later than 7 pm. Be ready handsome.”
