The Billionaire's Legacy: A Billionaire Romance (The Hampton Billionaires Book 5) by Erika Rose (8)

CHAPTER 8

Stefan had to force his own eyes to stay open as Sasha’s moist folds enveloped him. She was so tight, so wet. He gave her a second to acclimatize to his size before he thrusted again.

With his eyes focused on her chocolate brown gaze, Stefan slammed into her again and again. Her cries of ecstasy flooded the room as Stefan felt her start to clench around him. As the vice closed around him, his own release came.

Spent and sated Stefan collapsed on top of Sasha when her giggle brought him out of his post sex haze.

“What’s so funny?” He asked bracing himself on one arm

“Nothing,” Sasha grinned even as her eyes laughed at him.

“Come, give.” Stefan kissed her lips briefly.

“I never knew it could be like that.” Sasha giggled.

“Like what?” Stefan asked confused.”

“Exciting like fireworks and delicious like roasted marshmallows.” She said still smiling.

Stefan couldn’t help the laugh that erupted from his own chest. “Fireworks and roasted marshmallows? That’s one way of putting it.”

“That’s the best way of putting it.” Sasha smiled as her fingers started running up and down his back.

Stefan knew this was the part where he got up and told them he had work in the morning, but tonight he didn’t want to. He wanted to cuddle in front of the gas fireplace with Sasha all night. “Stay.” It was only one word but Stefan doubted Sasha knew it was the first time he spoke it or the enormity of the fact that he did.

Sasha’s chocolate brown eyes sparkled at him. “Like I said, I’m not going anywhere.”

Stefan felt himself hardening again as Sasha’s hands cruised over his ass; this was going to be a night he wouldn’t forget.

Friday morning Stefan sat behind his desk, ignoring the papers on his desk that required his attention. Ever since Sasha had slipped from his bed early yesterday morning he had had a hard time focusing on anything other than her.

Wednesday night had been so much better than he could’ve imagined. When he had asked her to dinner he had hoped that after he had sated his body with hers he would be freed from her hounding his thoughts.

To his chagrin, the opposite had happened. After making love with Sasha for the second time, Stefan had carried her to his bed and had pulled her close before falling asleep. He had woken up with her curled against him and found his hunger for her renewed. The hours they had spent talking in front of the gas fireplace had given him an insight into her mind. Her very smart, honest and fair mind. Even though Sasha had grown up in the lap of luxury she took nothing for granted, and she accepted nothing without giving something back.

She was determined to make a name for herself without her father, something Stefan had never even considered for himself.

Not only had she challenged Stefan’s view of the world, but she had awoken something inside him that had had him up late last night trying to search for more meaning in his life. If Sasha was right, Stefan needed to focus on the work Roman had given him, and yet he could not summon the energy to do it. If he was going to make something of himself, it wasn’t going to be what Roman and his father wanted him to become; it was going to be something he wanted.

What he wanted he wasn’t sure of himself yet, but at least he had started searching for answers.

He wanted to see her again; to spend more time exploring her body and her mind. For the first time, both attracted Stefan equally. Intrigued and surprised by her he picked up his phone and dialed her number.

She answered within a few rings. “Stefan.”

“Sasha.” He said with equal reserve, before his mouth spread into a grin. “How are you?”

Stefan could sense a smile in her voice when she spoke.

“I’m fine Stefan, how are you?”

“Actually, I was just thinking about you…”

“I’ve been having the same problem.” Sasha answered honestly.

Stefan felt a grin spread across his face, he couldn’t wait to get his hands on her again. “Come with me for the weekend. Let’s get out of the city and spend some time together…alone.”

The line was quiet for a minute before Sasha spoke. “Stefan, I would love nothing more, but I already have plans.”

“Cancel them.” Stefan said arrogantly.

Sasha laughed. “I can’t, but I promise you I’ll be thinking about you. I’ll let you know when I get back.”

“Talk to you then.” Stefan said before disconnecting.

He slammed the phone down on the table. Were they back to cat and mouse games? He shook his head; he thought they had moved past that Wednesday evening? If she wanted to play, he’d play. He wouldn’t call her until she called him.

Stefan swiveled his chair back to his desk and noticed the pile of papers again. Grunting he stood up and grabbed his keys. Screw this, he thought as he walked out of his office, he wasn’t going to play Roman’s lapdog today.

He rode down in the elevator confused as to why he felt so angry. It couldn’t be because Sasha had turned him down, could it? He pondered on the thought for a moment and realized it was the first time a girl had turned him down.

He knew exactly where he wanted to be right then and it wasn’t New York City. He headed to his apartment, threw a few things in a duffel bag and headed for the Hamptons.

Just as he passed Brooklyn, his phone rang. He answered the phone and heard his father’s voice booming through the car’s speakers.

“Stefan where the hell are you?”

“I’m getting out of the city. I need to think.”

“Bullshit! You’re running from responsibility. Roman gave you work and you blatantly ignored it!”

“It was mind-numbing crap any one of his lackeys could’ve done. I’m not wasting my Friday playing lapdog to Roman.”

“Dammit Stefan, you’re really trying me this time. How many times do I need to make it clear to you that either you work or I stop your trust fund?”

Stefan was angry before his father phoned and his threats just made it worse. “You know what dad? Stop threatening me! If you want to stop the goddamn trust fund then do it, but stop holding it over my head like a goddamn axe.”

Tommy Kelson’s voice was low as he answered. “Don’t tempt me Stefan.”

“I’m not. Tell Roman I’ll be in the office Monday and play lapdog then. Bye dad.”

Stefan switched the radio to loud rock music as he followed the road to South Hampton. He wasn’t lying; he needed to get out of the city. He needed to get Sasha Morris out of his mind and decide if he really wanted to do something with his life.

He had no idea how he was going to get Sasha out of his mind and no idea what he wanted to do with his life. Maybe a few drinks with his friends would help him work through the shit-storm that has taken over his mind.

His phone rang again and Stefan wanted to ignore it thinking it was his father when he noticed Sasha’s number on the screen.

“Sasha?” Stefan answered the call.

“I’m free tonight.”

Three words were all it took for Stefan to turn his car around.
