Vrak's Bride: Mail Order Brides Alien Mate Romance (Galactic Brides Book 2) by T.J. Quinn (7)

Chapter Eight

At first, she was so lost in the haze of the pleasure he had conjured for her, she hadn’t noticed what he was doing, but when he leaned over once more and took his tongue down there, and started working on her, her whole body tensed up at the novelty of the caress.

“What… what are you… doing?” she managed to utter, raising her head to look at him.

“Allow me… you’ll see soon enough,” he assured her, pushing his tongue deeper inside her.

Surprisingly, she felt herself stretch out underneath the caress of his coarse tongue, and small waves of pleasure started to travel through her, once more.

She wanted to protest, she had never done anything like it, but she didn’t want to ruin the moment and miss all the pleasure he was giving her.

After a few moments, he slid one of his fingers inside her, eased by her juices mixed with his saliva and soon he had a second finger joining the first one, making scissoring moves to stretch her further.

She had always thought that had to hurt, but incredibly, all she felt was pleasure.

At some point, he stopped and kneeled in bed, next to her while he pulled his pants down his legs, revealing his crotch. She gasped at the sight of him, understanding why he had been working on her. He had two cocks. Two big, thick cocks, adorned with a couple of lines of ridges that went from the tip to the base.

She had never seen anything like it, and she suddenly doubted he would ever fit in her. “Oh, my…” she muttered, with a slight frown.

“I guess you’ve never seen someone like me,” he said, slightly amused by her reaction.

“No… never…” she assured him. “It won’t fit…” she protested a bit scared.

He leaned forward and captured one of her hard nipples between his teeth, teasing the tip with his tongue. The jolt of pleasure was so powerful her mind forgot all her worries and all she could think of was the way he made her feel.

He crouched between her legs, pushing them up and spreading them apart as he rested the tip of his shafts at both her entrances. Still playing with her breasts and nipples, he pushed himself inside her, inch by inch, making sure she stretched to welcome him.

Aliyah could barely breathe. She could feel each of his ridges sliding inside her, and the feeling was mind-blowing. When he was finally all the way in, he kissed his nipples one last time, straightening up and holding her legs still. Carefully, he started to thrust in and out of her, slowly at first, but gradually speeding up, driving her insane.

She had never felt so much pleasure, and she came so many times, that by the time he reached his own pleasure, she was completely lost in a haze of bliss conjured by him.

His loud grunt filled her heart with joy, and when he finally exploded inside her, she was able to feel his warm essence cover every inch of her, pulling her out of her haze and making her come again as if his fluids were stimulating her all over again, and making her come once more.

He finally released her legs and collapsed over her, making sure he didn’t smash her underneath him. Their hearts were still roaring in unison, and their chests heaved together, and it took them a few minutes for them to be able to move again.

Shyly, she cupped his face and kissed his lips gently. “That was amazing…” she stuttered, sliding her hands up and caressing his horns.

He moaned out loud and kissed her back, his kiss powerful and passionate, meant to overwhelm her once again. “You’re the amazing one,” he assured her, finally sliding out of her and rolling next to her in bed.

His words took her back to their conversation, right before he had kissed her and a slight frown showed up on her forehead.

“What’s the matter?” he asked, noticing the change on her face.

“We shouldn’t have done this,” she grumbled, jumping out of bed and walking towards the bathroom, guilt rapidly replacing the pleasure and the bliss she had felt in his arms.

He followed her. “What do you mean?” he asked, frowning too.

“I’m promised to marry another man, Vrak, remember? This… this was wrong…” she replied, covering her face with her hands, as she stood in front of the mirror over the bathroom counter, unable to face herself after what she had just done.

“Nothing between us was wrong, Aliyah,” he assured her, with a stern expression. He still hadn’t figured out what had just happened between them but one thing he knew for sure. She was his, and he wasn’t letting go of her.

She turned to look at him. “How can you say that when you know, I’ll be marrying another man in a few days?” she asked, her heart torn apart and hurting so much she could barely breathe. She rubbed her face, trying to keep her tears at bay.

When he had started kissing her, she had thrown caution up in the air and decided she was entitled to enjoy life even if for just a few moments, but the intensity of what had just happened between them, changed things forever. She was never going to be able to forget him and the way he made her feel, and on the verge of her marriage with another man, that was the worst thing that could happen to her.

What had happened between them had been a lot more than just whooping it up one last time before her marriage.

“That won’t happen anymore,” he assured her in a cold tone.

She looked up to see him, sure she had misheard him. “What are you saying?” she asked, in a very low tone.

“I’m not letting you marry the Sumirion warrior,” Vrak explained, this time using all the letters.

“Have you lost your mind? I signed a contract. I can’t simply back out from it. The Cetians won’t allow me,” she assured him, her heart racing in her chest.

“I couldn’t care less about the Cetians and their contracts. Besides, all they care about is money, and I can give them all they want,” he assured her.

Aliyah shook her head. “Vrak, they were quite emphatic, they won’t let anyone ruin their pristine reputation as bride providers. They won’t allow me to back out from this marriage without at least giving it a try,” she insisted.

He rested his hands on his hips, towering her. “Do you want to marry this man?” he asked, in a very cold tone.

Of course, she didn’t want, but she had a contract and violating it would bring very bad consequences for her. She could be sent back to Earth, and that was the last thing she wanted. “I have a contract,” she insisted, without facing him.

Despite the passion they had just experienced, he hadn’t offered her a future nor did she expect him to. They barely knew each other, and as far as she knew, he wasn’t looking for a wife.

“Screw the contract!” he roared. “Do you want to marry this man?” he asked again.

“What other choice do I have, Vrak?” she asked, raising her face to look at him in the eyes. “If I don’t marry him, the Cetians will send me back to Earth, and I can let that happen.”

“I won’t let them,” he assured her. “You can stay with me,” he assured her, resting his hands on her shoulders.

“For how long, Vrak?” she asked, in a stern tone.

She wanted to stay with him, she certainly did, but she was on a planet she knew nothing of, with no means to support herself and she had to think about her future.

“How should I know?” he replied, taking a step back.

His reaction told her more than his words. He was acting driven by the fiery passion they had shared and nothing more.

“Nor do I, but I can’t change my whole life based on what could easily be just a fling, something fleeting. You must understand that” she pointed out, with a cold tone.

He crossed his arms over his chest and faced her with a stern expression on his face. “All I know is that I won’t let you marry this man. So, you better get used to the idea.”

“You’re not thinking straight,” she protested.

“I don’t care,” he assured her, taking a step closer to her and taking her into his arms, covering her luscious lips with his and stealing a breathtaking kiss from her.

Before she could do a thing or even utter a protest, he had her caught under the spell of his passion.

Picking her up in his arms, he took her to the shower stall and pressed a few buttons, activating the warm stream of water, over their heads, while he pressed her back against the wall and took her once more to paradise.

By the time they left the shower, Aliyah was completely drained, barely able to keep her eyes open, so she allowed him to take her to bed and cuddle up with her.

She must have fallen asleep immediately because the next thing she noticed was the moment he left the bed, the following morning.

Chapter Nine

“Good morning,” she mumbled, in a sleepy tone.

He was standing at the small window and turned around to look at her. “The wind isn’t as strong as last night. We can go back to the main house,” he said, in a plain tone, as if he was talking to one of his men and not someone he had taken so passionately.

With her heart aching, she figured he had realized she was right and had decided to pretend nothing had happened between them.

Nodding, she jumped out of bed and walked towards the bathroom. “I’ll be ready in a few minutes,” she informed him, closing the door behind her.

The pain in her chest was so strong she wanted to crawl into the nearest corner and cry until the pain was gone. But she didn’t have the time for that, and she couldn’t let him know how much she was hurting.

Yes, she knew this was the most sensible thing to do, but it didn’t make it easier for her. She would have given the world to stay with him, even if for a while if only things were different.

She came out of the bathroom to find him ready to leave. She quickly put on her winter jacket and her boots and followed him out of the small cabin.

It took them a couple of hours to get to the main house. The wind had lost some of its strength, but it was still strong enough to make their journey a lot slower than it would have been otherwise.

Asim was waiting for them at the door, with a stern expression on her face.

“Welcome home, citizen Vrak. We’re very happy to see you back and unharmed,” she said, in her usual melodious tone.

“Thank you, Asim. Was there any emergency while I was stranded at the cabin near the first barn?” he asked, helping Aliyah to get out of her jacket and her boots.

“No, sir. Everything is alright. Your friend Kahm called last night and asked you to call him back as soon as possible,” she informed, with a fake smile.

She wasn’t happy, and Aliyah could tell the woman was furious at her. She had no idea why, and the truth was she wasn’t in the mood to find out.

“I’ll call him after we eat something,” Vrak replied, taking her by her elbow and guiding her to the dining room.

“I’ll have the food served at once,” Asim said and disappeared down the hall.

“I’m not hungry,” she told him, trying to release her arm from his firm grasp.

Even though he wasn’t hurting her, it was impossible for her to free herself.

“You need to eat,” he stated, with a tone that didn’t admit any argument. “And, when we’re done, we’ll go talk to Kahm.”

She nodded, wondering why he would want her presence during his talk with his friend. Asim had returned, and she didn’t want to question him while the other woman was around.

They ate in silence, listening to Asim’s chitchat. She went on about how worried they had been when Vrak and Aliyah couldn’t return to the main house, despite the fact he had called to warn everyone they were alright.

Aliyah could tell Vrak wasn’t paying any attention to the woman’s chat and she could tell Asim knew it too. She seemed more interested in having Aliyah listening to her words than Vrak. The woman was trying to desperately send her a message, but Aliyah had no interest in finding out what she was after.

They finally finished eating, and Vrak guided her to his office, where he established a conference call with Kahm.

“Hello, my friend. I was told the storm stranded you last night. Is everything alright?” Kahm greeted them.

“We’re fine. We managed to reach one of the shelters before the wind knocked us down,” Vrak explained, his expression still stern.

“I’m glad to hear that,” Kahm said, with a faint smile. “Your assistant told me you had taken Aliyah with you.”

“Yes, I asked him to take me. I thought it would be my opportunity to know how one of these ranches work,” she replied, jumping into the conversation.

The man looked at her and nodded. “I hope you enjoyed your tour,” he said, and though he was smiling, his tone was a bit too cold.

“I did, thank you.”

“Goln, our representative with Sumirions called me last night,” he continued. “The Sumirions contacted him before the storm shut down the communications with Sumitera and he told me your future husband isn’t very happy with the delay.”

She paled and nodded. “I’m sure of it, but there isn’t much I can do about it.”

The man turned to look at his friend. “But what bothers him the most is the fact his bride is staying in a single man’s house,” he announced, frowning.

“He’s right to be bothered,” Vrak’s words startled the other two.

Aliyah gasped and mumbled his name, and Kahm’s frown became even deeper.

“Vrak, you know very well what’s at stake here. This is no game, and you’re not the only one involved in this situation,” the man’s words puzzled Aliyah. Before she was able to ask what he meant, Vrak was answering his friend.

“I’m well aware of all that, but that doesn't change anything. Call Goln, tell him that we have a new deal for the warrior. We’ll get him another bride, and I’ll give him half my cattle.”

Kahm rubbed his forehead and shook his head. “Damn, Vrak… you can’t be serious… he won’t agree to that,” the man ranted.

“I’m dead serious, Kahm. I won’t let her go.”

Finally able to overcome her astonishment, Aliyah turned to look at the other man. “He’s not speaking for me. Please, ignore his words.”

He snorted next to her. “Her opinion won’t make me change my mind,” he assured his friend.

“Why are you doing this? If you want a human bride, there are thousands you can choose from,” Kahm tried to reason with him.

Vrak’s expression became sterner than ever. “Do you really think I’m that shallow?” he asked his friend, in a very cold tone. “The Sumirion warrior hasn’t seen her, he hasn’t set his claim on her,” he insisted.

“He’s not going to accept that, and you know it. He let Selena go because she was expecting my child. There’s no way you’ll convince him that Aliyah is expecting yours,” Kahm insisted. “If you insist on this, they will come for her and who knows what can come out of that.”

“Just ask Goln to make them my offer. Tell them I’ll bring two women instead of one,” he insisted.

Kahm shook his head and turned to look at Aliyah. “Would you mind leaving us alone? I need to speak with my stubborn friend in private,” he asked.

She nodded and jumped out of her chair. “By all means. I’ll be in my room,” she accepted, leaving the room before Vrak was able to say a word.

“Have you lost your mind, Vrak?” Kahm ranted. “This could mean the end of Terrion and all of our ranches. You can’t threaten our lives over a woman,” he added, furious.

“Kahm, you, better than anyone, should know how I feel. I can’t let her marry this man, I would never see her again, and I would spend the rest of my life wondering what could have happened between us.”

“Selena is my wife, the love of my life,” his friend stated Coldly.

“Did you know that when you first met her, Kahm?” he asked derisively before he rubbed his face and let out a deep sigh. “I don’t know what I feel for her, it’s too new, and unlike anything, I’ve ever felt before. I can’t take the risk of letting her marry this man and then find out she was the one meant for me, I simply can’t. All my instincts tell me to keep her by my side, and I surely am not going to ignore them.”

Kahm stayed silent for a few moments before he nodded. “You better get ready for trouble.”

Vrak nodded. “I know, and I’m ready. Just make sure Goln points his finger at me and only me. I’m ready to pay the consequences.”

“What are your plans?”

“It’s better if you don’t know them. Make the offer and let’s see if I’m lucky enough that they accept it,” but his tone showed no hope at all.

Kahm nodded. “I’ll let you know as soon as I get an answer from the tribe.”

“Thank you, my friend, and please, forgive me for putting you in this situation.”

“Don’t even mention it. I’m sure you would do the same for me.”
