Bearly Falling by Ally Summers (33)

Sienna

It seemed rather formal to have to dress for dinner, especially when we were the only two people at the estate. But Grayson Hawthorne wasn’t a typical man. I had to remind myself of that. He was worth billions. He had been to the best schools. Studied business in Europe. He spoke five languages, although sex should count as one so that made six languages. And he was sexy as sin.

I still didn’t know why I was spending the weekend with him. Why he had kissed me. And why after some intensely amazing oral sex I was ready to have him take me to bed. I would have done it. Sex. I wanted it. I would have slept with him right in the middle of that movie.

I didn’t know why dinner first was so important. Maybe he wasn’t only into classic movies, maybe he was also old-fashioned. I touched my lips. No—that definitely wasn’t it.

He had taken me with certainty in the theater. He wanted me to taste him as much as I wanted the feel of his cock in my mouth. My fingers fell from my mouth. I had never had a man so hard and impressive between my lips. I shivered with the memory of how we came together. It was an erotic moment. A perfect moment of giving each other pure pleasure. I knew there was more to give.

I looked at my reflection. I wore my hair down. It was cold in Promise Lake. I hadn’t brought a cocktail dress, which suddenly seemed like a mistake. I had to piece together something suitable for a Hawthorne dinner in the blue dining room. He told me to meet him at the staircase at eight. I had packed a leather skirt that matched a pair of knee-high boots. Instead of wearing a sweater, I opted for only the silk camisole. I knew it was thin and I might freeze, but I wanted something special for tonight. It was the sexiest piece of clothing I had brought.

I fluffed my hair one last time before leaving the room. I walked down the hall. I stared in disbelief when I saw Grayson at the bottom of the stairs.

He was wearing a dark fitted suit and holding a single rose.

I descended the staircase. My eyes never left his.

“You look beautiful.” He kissed my cheek. “This is for you.”

I took the rose. “Thank you.”

He held out his arm for me while I followed him to the blue dining room. There were candles on every pedestal. The center of the table was covered with flames of different heights. I turned to look at him.

“You know you don’t have to impress me. I’m already impressed by everything about you, Grayson.”

He slid the chair out from the table. “That’s yet to be determined.”

I sat carefully, not wanting to disturb any of the beautiful settings. He had arranged silver, china, and crystal. I had to add formal table-setting to his list of skills.

“Why do I get the feeling there’s something you need to tell me,” I teased.

He took a seat next to me and reached for a bottle of chilled champagne.

“Are you that perceptive?” His eyebrows rose. I couldn’t tell if he was teasing me.

After what we experienced together in the theater I thought we did have a deeper connection. It was physical, but something else had happened. I felt vulnerable to him. As if he now had a part of me.

“Maybe I am.” I smiled shyly.

“I’ll drink to that.” He clinked my glass and we both drank the champagne.

The bubbles fizzed and danced on my tongue.

“I know you gave me a tour of the house today but you didn’t exactly tell me what you want me to work on. What room should I start in?”

Grayson nodded. “It’s not that kind of project. It has many layers. Many facets.”

“Oh?” I pulled off a corner of a dinner roll. “Do tell. I like long-term projects. Something I can really sink my teeth into.”

He grinned. “I like that you aren’t afraid, Sienna. You’ll take me head-on, won’t you?”

My spine tingled. My core twinged. I nodded. “Yes. I’m not the kind of girl who backs down from a challenge.”

He leaned closer. “Do you think I can challenge you?” His voice was low and husky.

“Yes. In many ways.” I didn’t feel flirty any more. I felt like a sexual goddess meeting her sexual god head-on. He was truly amazing.

The champagne swirled in my head.

“Do you want a challenge? Do you want me to push you?” His hand landed on my knee and began to slide between my thighs.

I sighed, parting my legs.

His fingers worked between the fleshy part until he slipped a finger under my satin panties. I opened my legs as wide as the confines of my skirt would allow.

“Yes. I want you to,” I whispered. I caught his piercing eyes.

“How hard do you like to be pushed?” He leaned forward, pinning my knee with his.

“Hard.” I bit my bottom lip.

He pushed a finger inside me and I gasped. “You have no idea what you’re doing to me, do you?” His eyes glowered.

I rocked into his fingers, needing more.

“What are you doing to me?” My head whipped back, while he strummed my clit and plunged another finger inside.

“Making you come before dinner.”

“Oh God.” I gripped the table. I couldn’t hold off. I was no match for his skill. My body caved to the pleasure, wracking my muscles with electric pulses. “Grayson,” I moaned.

He thrust his fingers deep in my heat while the orgasm took me at the table. I panted while I waited for the lust to roll off of me. He withdrew his fingers, smiling wickedly and licked one at a time.

I watched, awestruck.

“What did you just do?” I felt content and hungry at the same time.

“Hopefully gave you something you wanted.”

“I want more than that,” I admitted. I wanted to climb on the table and knock the china on the floor. I wanted him to take me now.

“Do you?”

I nodded. “I do.”

His cupped my cheeks with his palms. “Then I think it’s time we have a talk.”
