Chapter Twenty

____________

Dominic

Having a girl’s father call when you’re buried deep inside her and coaxing her to her fifth – possibly sixth – orgasm is pretty much the buzzkill to end all buzzkills. She was currently beneath me, though just minutes before she’d been riding me like it was her one true calling, and early morning sun was starting to light up the room. Unsurprisingly, we’d had very little sleep through the night. I glanced at the buzzing device on the bedside table even as I pumped into the wet heat of her body.

“It’s your dad.” I wasn’t exactly surprised when she went still, her expression freezing into a wide-eyed mixture of shock and revulsion.

“I can’t answer it.”

“Obviously.”

But then she started pushing at my shoulders. “I have to answer it.”

Groaning, I pulled out of her and rolled onto my back and Leah reached over to grab the phone. It was kind of cute how she pulled the sheet up over her and made sure everything was properly covered before she answered her dad’s call.

“Hey, Dad. Yeah, I was sleeping. What time is it?” She looked at me as she said this, like she expected me to answer, but I just shrugged. I actually had no idea. By the light of the sun I was guessing it was close to seven. “Oh. I know, we’re coming home today, as soon as I wake up and get cleaned up. Have you heard from Davis? No. Yeah, I know. Can I call you back when I’m awake? Okay. Bye.”

Hanging up the call, she held the phone in her hand and then glanced at me, audibly exhaling. “No one’s heard from him. I can’t believe he would just not answer like this. What if something happened to him?”

“He’s fine. He’s armed and trained in half a dozen martial arts. He can take care of himself.”

“But there could have been an accident or something,” she said, worry creasing her forehead. I just shook my head, amazed at her concern for Davis after everything that had happened. God, this girl was fucking me up.

“Look, don’t worry until there’s something to worry about.”

Her eyes darted back to me, and I couldn’t exactly read the look on her face but I knew it had nothing to do with Davis. She smiled and she looked so fucking gorgeous I couldn’t take my eyes off her. I wasn’t the poetic type, obviously, but with the morning sun washing over her and just a white sheet covering her tanned body, with her hair all messed up and her cheeks flushed, she looked like an artist’s wet dream. Or maybe just mine. I couldn’t stop myself from leaning over to drop a kiss onto her shoulder.

“It’s time to go,” I murmured against her skin.

She moaned and said, “No,” the word all drawn out and filled with protest. Then, she let the sheet drop to her waist before she leaned in and kissed me chastely on the cheek.

“You’re not playing fair,” I said, taking in her beautiful tits, turned on just as much as if it was the first time I’d seen them. Which was crazy when you considered I’d been tasting and fondling them for coming up on eight hours now. But they really were perfect, full and capped with small, puckered brown nipples. Everything about her body was perfect.

“We didn’t get to finish.” Her voice was sultry, her breath warm against my face. She moved her hand under the covers, grabbing my cock and pulling. It was already going hard again, despite the rude awakening from her father’s call and the fact that I’d fucked her so many times it should be chafing by now. I’d lost count of how many times we’d actually fucked throughout the night. We’d slept some, here and there, and we’d had quiet conversations that stopped and then picked up again with no true sense or direction. We’d used our hands at least once. Our mouths another. She’d discovered my devil woman tattoo and laughed for about two minutes straight. At some point in the night she’d gone down on me, and her shyness had been obvious but her eagerness did me in like nothing else. I didn’t last long under the wet pull of her mouth before I sat up, yanked her onto my lap, and plunged up into her. Gripping her hips and her soft, round ass as she rode me, our faces inches apart, our eyes open and holding nothing back.

It wasn’t an exaggeration to say it had been the best sex of my life. Starting from that first time when I hadn’t even had a concept of how affected I would be. I mean, I knew it would be good. I’d risked my job, risked everything, going on that certainty. But it had surpassed good and gone straight to fucking mind blowing. Watching her experience that for the first time, experiencing it with her, had shaken me to my core. There’d been actual tears on her face after. At first I’d been kind of alarmed, because a girl who starts crying during or directly after sex is something no guy wants. But then I’d realized she wasn’t crying, she was coming down from the most explosive orgasm I’d ever witnessed. She’d literally come so hard that her entire mind and body had given into it, and there had been tears left from the power of it.

I couldn’t give that up. I wasn’t anywhere near ready to.

And so, for the moment, I shut everything else out and gave into her yet again. I shoved the sheet away with a violence that seemed possessive, like it was a barrier between me and her that I wanted obliterated. Then I pulled her onto my lap, pushing her thighs open and grazing my eyes down her body and letting my hands follow suit, cupping her tits, rubbing her thighs and legs, touching her like I wanted to mark her. But soon they were drawn back to her center. I used one hand to stroke her, two fingers to fuck her, my focus on her face as her eyes drifted shut and her head fell back and she gave me that moan that told me she wanted more.

“Lift up,” I said, and she did, taking my cock in her hand and rubbing herself with it. My throat went dry watching her grind against my dick, until I could take no more and moved her hand away. “Where are the condoms?”

She shook her head, her body practically vibrating with need. “I want you like this,” she moaned. Her mouth was open inches from mine and I could feel its heat as she spoke. “No condom. Just you.” I knew she was on the pill and had used a condom with what’s-his-name, and I also knew I hadn’t been with anyone else in over a year and had had a physical since then for work. And that was apparently all I needed to know because in the next second I was groaning and pushing up into her bare-skinned. She arched back, her hands catching her weight on the mattress behind her as her head fell back, giving me an amazing view of my dick buried inside her body as she moved over it. My thumb pushed inside her mouth and she sucked on it, then I moved it down to find her clit. I could feel the vibrations of my thumb from the inside of her and it made tension pull at my nerves. There had been so many times during the night when we’d lazily explored each other’s bodies, using hands and fingers and tongues and hot breaths, but now we fucked like it was the last thing we would do. She came back to me, circling her arms around my neck and opening her mouth on mine, and I drank her into my mouth and started pumping faster until I teetered close to the edge, tension pulling up and tingling at my scalp, my arms, fucking everywhere.

“I’m close,” I managed to grit out as she rode my dick. “Do you want me to…”

“No,” she said, and she rode me harder, her muscles squeezing me and I was pretty much lost then. My whole body shook as I came, spilling into the hot grip of her body in an agonizing release that pulled my mind into sharp clarity before spilling it into every direction. And then I was just gone. I held her warm body to mine as we both panted hard, and I felt a wave of fatigue pull through me that was probably induced by the orgasm as much as it was by lack of sleep.

“I’m tired,” she moaned into my neck. “I don’t want to leave this bed.”

“Have to.” I hated being the voice of reason sometimes. “We’ve got to get moving. We’ll get some coffee at the place downstairs, the strongest one they have.”

“It can’t have less than five hundred milligrams of caffeine.”

“That’s all? Wuss.” I was still inside her, though close to slipping out now that I was soft, and I knew there was going to be a mess when we separated. I didn’t know why I liked that thought so much. Shifting slowly, I put my hands on her ass and started to push her up, but she stopped me.

“Wait.” She reached for her phone that was still lying on the sheets by us, and I couldn’t help the way I balked.

“You can’t take a picture of this,” I said.

“Please?” Her face was guileless when she looked back at me, but I wasn’t going to let it sway me.

“No. Not happening. Someone could see it.” Her father was obviously who I meant. I wouldn’t put it past him to look through her phone whenever he felt like it, and coming across a picture of me and his daughter after we’d clearly been fucking all night was the last thing I needed.

“Dom….I want a picture of this. For me. I won’t put it in the photo story. I’ll put it on a thumb drive when I get home and then delete it. I promise.”

Fuck. I could feel my will caving in already. How did she do this to me? “As soon as you get home,” I repeated. “I’m trusting you.”

“You can,” she said, turning her camera on with a swipe of the finger. “You can always trust me.”

And then she angled her phone and I hated selfies so I turned away, into her neck that was craned to one side while she looked at the camera, and I kissed her just as I heard the click.

Leah called her dad back while I went back to my room to pack up. Luckily, Davis had left most everything in his suitcase except for a couple things in the bathroom, so it was easy getting his stuff together. I texted him after I did so.

I’m bringing your suitcase back. Text me when and where you want to come get it.

I didn’t expect him to text back, but to my surprise, a reply came almost right away.

Thanks man. Sorry about yesterday. I’ll be in touch soon.

I blinked at that, and then typed, Did you apologize to Leah?

I will. I’m back in the city, getting ready to see Thomas.

You’re already back?

Rented a car and drove back last night. Had a lot of time to think during the drive.

Normally I would have made some snarky comment but all I could focus on was his meeting with Thomas. What are you going to tell Thomas?

There was a pause, and then, Nothing about you. Anyway I’m about to go in. I’ll talk to you later.

Whatever. That little conversation summed up every reason I hated texting. You got bits and pieces of shit when all you really wanted was the whole picture. I wasn’t entirely confident he wasn’t going to try and take some of the heat off himself by telling Thomas I’d been hooking up with Leah, but there was nothing I could do but wait and see. I did text Thomas to let him know we were getting ready to leave the hotel, but he didn’t text back. Probably because he was sitting down with Davis right about then.

When I had everything packed, I went back to Leah’s suite and found her sitting at the breakfast bar on her phone. She was dressed in loose fitting dress that came to the bottom of her thighs, and her hair was still damp from the shower she must have taken.

“Ready?” she asked, braving a smile even though it was plain as day that she was nervous and unsure how to act with me. I knew we would have to talk but I wanted to wait until we were in the car and closer to home.

“Yeah. What are we doing about Audrey’s stuff?”

“Check out’s not until noon, and she texted saying she would be back to get it by then. She’s going to get a ride back with some of her friends, so we don’t have to wait.”

“Alright.” Sounded more than fine to me. “Let’s go, then. I need that coffee.”

“Oh, God. Me too.”

We picked up our highly caffeinated coffees and got checked out of the hotel, letting them know about Audrey and getting an assurance that any items left would be held for ninety days. Something told me that was one of the perks of getting a suite in a fancy hotel. Most places probably would have just chucked it. Finally we were in the car and on our way home, and the coffee did its trick for the time being, because I felt a lot more awake and alert after drinking the thing. Now that we were settled down and alone, I told Leah about texting Davis.

“He’s already back? I have to call my dad.” She was already pulling her phone out as she said this.

“Why don’t we just wait until we know what he told them?”

“Why couldn’t he just have waited until we could talk to him? I was willing to cover for him as much as I could. I’m not really that mad at him anymore, and he’s been with us since I was little. I don’t necessarily want him to get fired.”

“After everything he said? Come on. He was so far out of line.”

“I know, but I don’t really want my dad or Thomas to know all about it. I don’t know, I’m confused.”

“You’re too forgiving is what you are.”

“Not usually. Maybe it’s just that my night was too good.” I glanced over at her and she gave a naughty, cute-as-hell smile. “I can’t really be mad at anyone right now.”

I couldn’t help but chuckle, but then I said, “You know, there’s a chance he could tell them about us.”

“I know,” she said carefully, the smile slowly disappearing. “How do you feel about that?”

“I feel like I’m out of a job if that happens.”

“No. I’ll talk to my dad.”

“And tell him what? That I messed with you while I was on the job of protecting his little girl? A job he’s paying me pretty well for? There’s no way you could spin that. It’s a fireable offense no matter who you are.”

Looking down at her lap, she fidgeted nervously with her fingers. “Davis might not tell. He said he wouldn’t.”

“I guess we’ll have to see.” Taking a deep breath, I surged on, feeling it was best to get everything out in the open before we got back to the city. “Look, last night was amazing. I’m serious. It was…I don’t even know what.” Okay, I did know, but I wasn’t about to be that open. You didn’t just come out and tell a girl she had given you the best sexual experience of your life, so I settled lamely on, “You’re amazing.”

I glanced at her and it looked like she was blushing above that little smile that was pulling at the corners of her mouth, but I couldn’t see her eyes through her sunglasses and that frustrated me. Eyes were key to reading people. “But?” she prompted. She didn’t lose the smile so I figured she was okay with where this was headed.

“But we both knew we’d have to leave it in that hotel. You’re going back to school and I’m going back to work, unless I get fired, in which case I’ll have a whole new set of problems…”

“Dom. I know. I knew going in that nothing could come from this. I mean, this time with you has been so special, and you gave me such an incredible experience and I thank you for that, but…” She trailed off and shrugged one shoulder, and then laughed in a short, embarrassed sort of way. “Oh, God. I did not just thank you for having sex with me. That wasn’t how I meant it.”

I smiled, keeping my eyes on the road. “It’s okay. You can thank me. I don’t mind.”

She laughed and hit my shoulder with a fist that felt like putty, and I waited until I passed some traffic on the highway before I tugged her close enough to kiss the side of her head. “Thank you.” My voice sounded more serious than I intended, but it was okay because I kind of was being serious. She had given me something pretty incredible, too.

With a little sigh, she placed one of her hands on my thigh. “You’re welcome,” she said, and the words came out with as much gravity as mine had, as if she sensed the depth of my gratitude.
