CHAPTER TWENTY-FOUR
Bianca watched Talon closely. She saw his eyes flash silver for an instant, and she knew that she was right. Talon was that magnificent, courageous gray wolf who had saved her from that slavering pack of black wolves.
“Talon...” she whispered. “I’ve met quite a few shifters today. Ari and her friends come across as lovely, good-hearted people. Shifters don’t scare me. I’m not scared of you, Talon. I...trust you.”
Talon’s eyes glowed brighter as a muscle worked in his jaw. She could sense the controlled power of his wolf. Claws glinted at the tips of Talon’s fingers as his wolf rose to the surface.
Bianca’s breathing quickened.
Seeing his beast so close to the surface thrilled and excited her. She wasn’t afraid of his wolf at all. His wolf was a part of him, and she knew that Talon would never, ever hurt her.
Talon let out a low growl and the sound sent delicious tremors through her body. Bianca bit down a whimper as molten heat unfurled low in her belly and pooled between her legs.
A unique, alluring scent was filling the truck. Bianca inhaled the scent greedily and a moan fell from her lips. She recognized Talon’s masculine scent, and the scent seemed to ignite her lust and make her entire body hum and thrum with desire.
Bianca squeezed her eyes shut as the ache between her thighs intensified. “Talon...” she panted.
She stared at him, clenching her fists to resist the urge to tear all his clothes off him. She had never felt this maddening, tormenting hunger for any man before.
She wanted Talon. She wanted and needed him so bad.
Talon’s nostrils flared as he turned to stare at her. “Bianca,” he growled.
The way he growled her name made her wetter still. Bianca panted and squirmed in her seat. She fingered the buttons on her blouse unconsciously. Her body felt so hot, so sensitive. She felt as though there was an inferno raging through her, setting all her nerve endings on fire.
She didn’t understand what was happening to her. In fact, her mind had ceased all capacity for thought. She couldn’t think at all. She could only feel and want and crave.
She craved Talon. She wanted him to take her, fill her and sate this tormenting hunger.
“Talon...please,” she whimpered.
She reached out a trembling hand to him.
Tires screeched as Talon pulled the truck to a stop in front of the house. In a flash, he was out of the truck. Yanking the door open, he swept Bianca into his arms and carried her into the house.
Kicking the door shut behind him, Talon put her down on her wobbly legs and spun her round. He pinned her against the door, and Bianca wantonly rubbed herself against his broad, hard body.
She could feel his erection pushing against her, and she tugged desperately at his belt.
“I want...you,” she panted.
She gasped when Talon grabbed her hands and pinned them above her head.
Talon’s silver eyes were fully feral and his breathing was harsh and ragged. The possessive, predatory look in his eyes thrilled her, and Bianca lifted her lips willingly, pleadingly to him.
Talon growled and crushed his mouth to hers.
Bianca arched her back and moaned as Talon took her mouth in a bruising, punishing kiss. Her tongue tangled with his in a frenzied, desperate battle for dominance.
There was a tearing sound and Bianca gasped when her blouse fluttered from her body in shreds. She saw only a brief glint of claws before her bra was ripped from her body.
She was naked to the waist, but she didn’t feel shy or self-conscious at all. Talon looked at her like he wanted to devour her in the most delicious, decadent way.
She felt sexy, beautiful and special. She was special.
Bianca was the woman Talon wanted.
Talon wanted her. Only her.
