Dark Honor (Dark Saints MC Book 3) by Jayne Blue (5)

Chapter 5

Zig

She was soft and hard all at once. Her lips tasted like ripe cherries and when she pressed her tits against me, I damn near lost my mind. I laced my fingers through her hair and she tilted her head back, sinking even further into the kiss.

I couldn’t get enough of her. Gina darted her tongue into my mouth and before I knew it, her arms had wound their way up my chest. She pulled me closer, grabbing my leather cut with her fist.

Wrong. All wrong. There were a million reasons why I should never have touched this girl. She was too young. She was Gino DiSalvo’s daughter. She was a job. But God. When Gina sighed against me and I felt her pulse quicken beneath my fingertips, I was done for. It was as if her body was meant for me. Just one touch, one kiss, and she arched her back, offering herself up to me. I was drunk with her. Lust coursed through my veins, sending a shockwave straight between my legs. She had me instantly hard and I wanted nothing more than to slide a finger up her thigh and drag her panties down.

She’d be wet. Soaked. I knew it. I pulled back a little. Gina’s eyes hooded with desire and went out of focus. She was just as turned on as I was. Every instinct in me told me how fucking good it would feel to sink my dick inside of her hot, wet little pussy. Her hands were everywhere. As I held her, supporting the small of her back as she arched up on her tiptoes, she threaded her fingers through my hair and pulled me down even closer.

I think I could have done it. Dammit, I wanted to. Standing in the shadows away from the main streets of campus, I could have pressed her up against the brick wall in the alley behind us and fucked her senseless. It would be wild, hot, raw, and just what both of us needed.

“Zig,” she gasped out my name. “Please.”

Fuck.

Visions flashed through my head. Gina on her knees, that sweet mouth parted as she begged me to fill it. My whole body trembled from the effort of holding back. I got my hands up; circling them gently around her arms, I started to pull her away from me.

It was no good. I had to get control of this for the both of us. Never mind the repercussions from the DiSalvo brothers, Bear would probably cut my dick off for even thinking about taking this any further with her.

I swear to God, it was like he could read my damn mind. Just as Gina’s fumbling fingers found my belt buckle, my phone vibrated in my back pocket. The sound of it cut through the lustful fog in my brain. I pulled Gina away from me. She staggered backward, wiping the back of her hand across her swollen lips. Her cheeks flamed red and her chest heaved with unsteady breaths. I held up a finger and took the call.

“Zig?” It was Bear himself.

I stood straighter, making a half turn so Gina couldn’t see my face. My balls throbbed and my head started to pound. Fuck. It was going to be a bitch to get back on my bike like this.

“Hey, Bear,” I said. “Everything’s under control up here.” God. He hadn’t even asked me that. I just hoped whatever he needed kept his focus away from the guilty tone in my voice.

“Good. I need you back here though, first thing in the morning.”

My heart lurched. “What’s going on?” I don’t even know why I bothered asking. Whatever it was, it wouldn’t be safe for Bear to go into specifics over the phone.

“I need a meeting. Full membership.”

I turned to Gina. Still panting, she leaned against the street lamp and tried to smooth the wrinkles out of her shirt. I’d been in the process of hiking it up. Fuck. I’d been so close to tweaking those perfect tits of hers. My mouth watered imagining what they’d taste like.

“No problem, Bear,” I said, though my voice cracked. “What about the errand you sent me on?”

Gina’s eyes narrowed. She was no fool. She knew full well I’d been sent here for her.

“I’m sending two of the probies to fill in for you for a day or two,” Bear said. “We’ve got bigger fish to fry for the short term. Moose and Toby ought to be there within the hour. Moose’s flying up in the Piper Cub. There’s a small airstrip just off campus. Toby will stay behind. You okay with him borrowing your ride?”

“Sure,” I said, still mostly focused on Gina.

“Good. They’ve actually already landed. They just called and said they’re heading into campus now. Tell me where you are and they’ll meet you.”

Shit. Whatever was going on, Bear thought it was serious enough to fly me home. My heart lurched when I looked back at Gina. I didn’t want to leave her. Sure, I trusted the prospects to keep her out of trouble. I just didn’t like the idea of anyone else’s eyes on her but mine.

“It’s all good, Bear. Whatever you need,” I said. I took a step back and looked at the street signs. “I’m standing at the corner of Decatur and Wilshire streets. East end of campus.”

“Good enough. I’ve got Toby on hold. I’ll send him your way.” Bear wasn’t one for small talk. Satisfied that we had things well in hand, Bear hung up, leaving me alone with Gina once more.

I went to her. She squared her shoulders, defiant. The heat that passed between us had cooled for the moment. We both knew without saying anything we’d probably just dodged a bullet. I knew the gentlemanly thing to do was tell her I was sorry. But I was no gentlemen and it was better she knew that going in.

“Come on,” I said. “I’m gonna take you home.”

I expected her to protest. She’d done the same thing when I followed her up the hiking trail to the ridge. This time, she didn’t. Gina just gave me a solemn nod and made a move toward my bike.

My heart still racing, I climbed on. My jeans tightened again as Gina straddled the back of the bike and snaked her hands around my waist. Fuck. She felt as good back there as I knew she would. Her chest pressed against my back and I could feel her halting breaths. Her engine revved just as hard as the Harley’s.

Somehow, I managed to keep my own lust in check as I tore off down the street and headed for her dorm.

Gina lingered for a moment, clinging to my waist as I cut the engine. My heart still raced. She hadn’t said a word since I took the phone call from Bear. God, never mind how much I wanted to fuck her. The last thing I wanted to do was hurt her.

Finally, she climbed off the bike and smoothed her hair behind her ears, giving me a weak smile.

“Gina,” I said. I dismounted and reached for her, rubbing my hand along her arm. Even now, the tiny gooseflesh beneath my fingertips got my blood pumping again. I wanted to make her skin tingle like that all over. I had a vision of how fucking hot she’d look naked, spread-eagled on my bed. The thought of it nearly undid me all over again. I took a step back and tried to catch my breath.

“I’m sorry about that, back there,” I said. It was a damn lie, but she needed to hear it.

Gina put a hand up. “Don’t. And I mean ... I know. It was a terrible idea. You realize how many pieces my brothers would cut you into if they knew you so much as looked at me?”

Every muscle in my body went stiff. She had no idea that my crew were the ones the DiSalvos sent in when they wanted people taken care of.

“Right,” I said, arching a brow. “Will you just do me a damn favor and stay put tonight? There’s something wild in the air on campus. Somebody’s going to get hurt.”

Gina bit her lip. Shit. There sure as hell was something wild in the air between us. Even now that I’d cleared my head a little, I still wanted to touch her again.

“Thanks. I can take care of myself, Zig.”

It was in me to argue with her. She didn’t get it. If somebody was trying to pick off DiSalvos, she’d never see it coming. She’d need someone like me to watch her back. The trouble was, it was getting too damn hard not to watch her front, her ass, and everything in between. Maybe it was better Toby and some of the other prospects spelled me for a day or two.

“I’m sure you can,” I said. “But you needed my help tonight whether you want to admit it or not. I’m not going to be around for a day or two.”

Gina’s shoulders dropped and her lips parted. If I didn’t know better, I’d say she seemed disappointed. Fuck. It made me glad.

“Look,” I said. “You might see a couple of my guys hanging around. They won’t get in your way. You’ll barely know they’re there. Just do me a favor and let ’em do their job. You have a problem with any of it, take it up with your family, okay?”

Gina smiled and nodded. She put a hand up in surrender. “Got it. No ball busting. Zig, I swear. Right now I’m too tired to even think. As much fun as it is to give you a hard time, I really am just going to crash tonight. I’ve had enough excitement.”

I didn’t believe her. Not for one damn second. Desire still made her eyes glint as she looked up at me. I knew what I was to her. I was a bad idea. The kind of thing that would piss her daddy and her brothers off something good. She seemed like just the kind of girl who’d get off on that. Normally, that would be enough for me. Hell, it was now. But I knew damn well what Bear and the rest of the club would say about it. The girl was way more trouble than she was worth.

“Good,” I said. “Sleep tight, Gina.” Fuck. It was too tempting not to stir her up again. I wanted to see that little hitch in her breath that made her tits jiggle. I leaned in close, letting my hot breath caress her ear. “Sweet dreams.”

She blinked wildly and took a little step backward. Oh yeah. I knew what she’d be dreaming about tonight. My dick stirred imagining it. What I wouldn’t give to watch her. I’d slip my hand under the covers and feel her slick opening as she moaned in her sleep. I wanted to be there to fill the need I just knew she’d have.

Dammit. I needed to get back to the clubhouse and fast. Maybe I could blow off some of this steam with one of the banger chicks that were always in ample supply. They wouldn’t hold a candle to Gina, but I needed something to take the edge off or I’d lose my damn mind.

A car engine roared behind us. My hands flew instinctively to my hip holster. Gina’s eyes went wide as she saw me do it. Then she crossed her arms and looked over my shoulder.

“I think they’re here for you, Zig.” Sure enough. Toby and Moose pulled up in a black club van. Toby got out and raised his chin toward me while Moose waited behind the wheel to take me back.

I looked back at Gina. She’d already given me her back and was headed toward the front doors of her dorm. Good girl, I thought. I gave Toby his marching orders.

“Just keep an eye on her,” I said. “I don’t think she’ll give you any trouble, but don’t be surprised if she tries to shake you.”

Toby nodded. He was a good kid. Skinny, blond. Just like every other one of my crew, hanging around the Dark Saints had saved him from a life behind bars so far. He had a good chance of patching in soon. I slapped him on the back and headed for the van, certain Gina was in capable hands. Still, I had Moose wait. I stared up at that third-floor window until I saw Gina’s shadow. She pulled the blinds and turned out the light.
