The second time Natalia found herself in Jace’s apartment, she was sober and more emotionally vulnerable than she could have handled any other time. “Yeah,” she said softly. “I’d like that.”
And for the first time in a long time, Natalia was content, wrapped in a pair of warm arms and a bright smile.
