GUNNER (Hellbound Lovers MC, #6) by Crimson Syn (3)

2

Chastity

Who the hell names their child Chastity? My father, that’s who? He said the name would go with the game. Sure enough, I had no game. I only had the slime ball, Rafael Espino, and he only seeked to satisfy himself. I had been with him for a year now and as much as I hated it, keeping Espino satisfied was part of the job. I was his old lady in every sense of the word, but I made him promise we’d never marry. I told him I wasn’t the religious sort and didn’t believe in signing a contract like that. Gratefully, he was more than willing to accommodate my beliefs.

I did everything I could to keep him away, I even made sure several girls were brought to him on occasion, but of course I had to give in eventually. I couldn’t fight him without ringing alarm bells. Good thing was, he barely lasted. I have to admit it was partially my fault. I practiced those kegels like nobody’s business, and with a few squeezes I had him cumming at full force. It was better that way, I didn’t have to keep him between my legs for too long. Of course, I had to pretend it was earth shattering, but the truth was, I hated it. He repulsed me in every way possible and I repulsed myself even more for having to do this.

I’d been lucky lately. He’d been so tired out he barely touched me, and I was more than happy with that. But there was a downside to that. I wasn’t sure if he was getting tired of me, and if that was the case then I needed to make my move quickly. It was time. I couldn’t do this anymore. It was getting even more difficult masking my disgust with Rafael Espino and The Gremlins.

I was infiltrated into The Gremlins pretty much since as soon as I became an undercover agent. Working for the FBI was a dream come true. My father was the Assistant Deputy Director, so it was inevitable that I’d be in training at Quantico by the time I graduated college. After we lost my mother to a battle of breast cancer, my father had taken me under his wing. I lived and breathed Robert Burke’s teachings. He became my mother, my father, my mentor, and the man I most looked up to. Following in his footsteps and making him proud was one of my biggest achievements and I was glad he got to see it before he passed away three years ago.

Having lost both my parents and not having anywhere to go was probably why I made the crazy decision to take this assignment. The gang was the perfect place for me to get lost, so much so that I’d seen and done shit that I don’t think I could ever be forgiven for. But what I hated the most, was giving my body over to a wanted criminal, because Rafael Espino was a murderer, a drug trafficker, and La Cruz’s right-hand man. That’s who I was really after, Juan de la Cruz. A Narc so big, he had shaken up the west coast within minutes. The man who had killed my father because he’d taken down one of his drug rings. My vengeance was palpable, I could taste it, and I wasn’t going to give it up because I couldn’t suck it up and fuck a drug lord. It wasn’t going to happen.

I was finally close enough to bringing him down, but I had no back up, no help. No one around here knew who I was. I was to remain anonymous and I couldn’t even approach the FBI or the LAPD without exposing myself. I would send a text every Tuesday and Friday to my Deputy Director back home. No text meant I was dead. That was it. No communication back, no one to say good job, or we’re here for you. I was completely and utterly on my own. I had only one friend, Gabriela Cristiano, she’d been with me at the academy and she was the only one who’d followed me every step of the way, the only one I trusted with my life until this point. She was a Detective in the LAPD, a good one, and the only one watching my back as best she could.

My chance to finally put an end to all this came when we first arrived. Rafael wanted to run surveillance on a rival MC that had been giving the cartel a hard time. The Hellbound Lovers were a powerful MC, everyone from the east to the west coasts knew who they were and respected them. Shit, even Rafael seemed awed by Wolf Stone and what he had accomplished. They were who you went to if you were in trouble, and they had major connections that lead down from the New York’s Fallen Kings to California’s Death Row Shooters. I had read up on each of them, and had gotten some help from Gabriela who had snuck me their files.

They’d gotten into some shit with Los Perdidos a while back, which led to their encounter with La Cruz. Detective Lowery had been put on their case, but he had done shit to help them. Word on the street and within the FBI was that Lowery and his team were being paid by La Cruz. I told Gabriela to get on it right away and warn her superiors to keep an eye on him. I knew I had her back up, but I needed to fight fire with fire. And the fire I was looking for was in the form of a local MC willing to do anything to protect what was there’s. I needed to get to Wolf Stone, the club’s president, to reason with him and see if he’d give me his help.

Then there was the unexpected turn of events. When Jason Gunner walked into the bar last night I couldn’t believe my eyes. He’d casually strutted in, all six feet of muscle and brawn, and sat down in a booth without a care in the world. I had tensed up when I saw him, glancing around and preparing to help him as best I could if he got recognized, but no one even blinked an eye. They were either too dumb to see it or he was just too good at camouflaging himself. He looked even more dangerous than the pics I’d been given. I mean all the Hellbound Lovers were attractive men, no woman could deny their ruggedness, but Gunner… My whole body had instinctively wanted to run to him. I had never seen a man so sexy, so alpha, in my whole life. He was perfect in every dangerous way possible.

I had tried to remain calm, but his eyes were doing wild things to my insides. When I finally caught his attention, my pussy had clenched in excitement. Giving him a signal I dragged him into the woman’s bathroom, and as soon as he walked in, the air was literally sucked out of me and an all-consuming arousal started to heat up my insides. I couldn’t believe how I had acted. I let him touch me and kiss me and although I shouldn’t have, I wanted so much more and I let him know it. But I needed him to disappear, I couldn’t let him be seen. I also needed him to trust me. Being in his arms gave me a sense of safety I hadn’t felt in a long time, and letting him go was probably the hardest thing I’d ever done.

I tossed and turned in the worn-out sheets. Everything felt uncomfortable, I hated this damn place. I made sure when we first got here that I had my own room. I told Rafael that I needed my own personal space and he was fine with that, since he wasn’t the type to cuddle. This gave me the freedom to do what I needed to do. My plan started to formulate and I prayed that the man I needed for the job, was willing to go into the lion’s den for me.

* * *

The next morning I got word that Rafael had to go to Vegas for a drop off. He’d be back the following night, which was the perfect time to start getting things ready. That afternoon I made an excuse to the guys that I needed to go do some shopping. They all groaned and chuckled as I flipped them the bird and headed towards my bike.

“Don’t wait up for me boys! I’m gonna take my sweet ass time!” They all waved me off or just ignored me.

I checked my mirrors as I made my way downtown. I stopped at a shop and bought some underwear and a new pair of boots. If you say you’re going shopping, you need to bring back proof. I sped down the roads and finally stopped a few blocks away from Ravenous. I parked my bike in one of the side alleys, making sure it couldn’t be seen by The Gremlins in case they decided to do a quick run of the place.

I stared down at my motorcycle and shook my head. “I couldn’t have chosen black?” I whispered crossly as I stared down at the red Sportster. She was all I had and I had grown more than fond of riding on her back, but she was the least inconspicuous thing I owned. I patted the seat and headed down the street towards the club.

I raised my eyes to the cameras that slowly started to follow me. Smiling, I knew that these guys were no fools and I actually appreciated that about them. They were hardcore and just what I was looking for. As soon as I got to the door it was pulled open by a tall burly man. He had on a white t-shirt and a vest with the Death Row Shooters patches along it. He grunted as he signaled for me to come in. I watched him warily, taking in his taut jeans, and long muscled torso. His arms were as big as my thighs and they rippled as he moved. I couldn’t help but stare at the guy, I mean what woman wouldn’t, he was yummy.

“Sorry about Poe, he doesn’t say much.”

I turned, searching in the dim light for the source of the deep rumble. When I finally got a glimpse of the man, I gave a small gasp. The man coming towards me was sinfully attractive. If all the Hellbound Lovers looked this good then I needed to switch my lifestyle choices and quick.

“Hi, I’m Wolf Stone,” he reached his hand out in greeting and I hesitated for a moment before shaking it. “What can we do for you?”

“Mr. Stone,” I nodded in greeting, putting my professional face on. “My name is Chastity Burke and I came to ask for your help.”

Wolf’s eyebrow rose as he assessed me for a long moment. “I’m all ears,” he stated and I felt a little less hesitant to speak with the man. “Come on in, I’ll get us something to drink.”

“A bottle of water is fine for me. I don’t drink on the job.”

Wolf frowned, staring at me fixedly, but after an intense second he went off to get me that bottle of water. When he came back he had another GQ model standing beside him.

“This is Grayson Carter, he’s the club’s VP.”

The man smiled at me and I had to admit, I melted a little. “Taking his hand in a warm shake I smiled back. “Nice to meet you, Chastity. Mind if I join you?”

I had read about both these men. They were well respected and honorable bikers. They never intentionally hurt anyone, and if there existed a fatality or two on their hands, it was only due to self-defense and I couldn’t fault them for protecting their own.

I pointed to the chair before me. “Please do, I’m glad both of you are here actually.”

“Are you now?” Wolf sat down to my right.

I nodded as I opened the bottle. “I really wanted to speak with you, but if Grayson’s here that should be fine.”

“You talk like you know us.” Grayson narrowed his eyes on me.

I let out a laugh. “Sorry. I’ve read so much on you guys I almost feel like I do.”

Wolf looked over at Grayson and a slight frown crinkled his forehead. “Explain yourself.”

“I’m Special Field Agent, Chastity Burke.”

“Field Agent?” Grayson repeated.

I nodded, but before I could continue I felt the hairs on the back of my neck rise and my body became fully aware of the man at my back. I stood up and slowly turned around. My sole focus was now on the man before me. Wolf and Grayson had nothing on this man. This man had literally become the source of every dirty fantasy I’d ever had. I licked my lips as I took him in, and I could feel my panties getting damp as he started walking towards me. The butterflies in my stomach went crazy, a warning to keep my eyes focused on the bigger picture and not on the sins I wanted to commit with Jason Gunner.
