Thank you so much for reading this story, and hopefully the rest of the Lone Star series. I’m sad to say goodbye to the Logan brothers; each one of them managed to steal my heart in different ways. Book hangovers are real, y’all, even for the author! Every book from this series has left me strung out emotionally once I’ve finished it, because I’ve poured so much of my own heart and soul into writing them.

Beaumont and his angel boys… Dallas and sweet, shy Kyle… sassy Houston and Cody, his big Georgia peach… and now my dear nerdy, way too obsessive and germaphobic Austin and his perfect match, Owen. I’ve laughed and cried along with them while telling their stories. I’m going to miss these guys, but I have new stories to tell and different boys to introduce to you. I have big plans for the coming year, and I can’t wait to share them with you.

But first, let me address one little thing before I get a flood of messages letting me know just how much my facts were wrong. Well, here’s the thing… in order to properly tell this story, I had to take a bit of creative license. Let me make it clear that I did thoroughly research insurance requirements, especially in regards to maternity care. Prior to 2014, pregnancy often wasn’t covered under most individual private health care plans and yes, it could even be considered a preexisting condition. The United States has a long way to go before affordable health care is available for everyone, but at least now pregnancy is covered here in this country… except for here in my fictionalized world because otherwise I wouldn’t have had a story to tell.

What’s up next for me? In January, I will be launching my contemporary, non-MPREG pen name, Susan Hawke. I will write the same irreverently funny and emotional stories that I do as Susi, but Susan’s books won’t contain pregnancy. For more information on that, follow me in my Facebook group .
