Chapter Eleven

“What do you mean?” Jamie asked pulling away from him.

Asa wasn’t ready to talk about it just yet. There was only one thing he wanted to do right now and that was to get lost in his baby girl. “I’ll tell you about it another time. But right now, you need to get dressed and pack an overnight bag.”

Jamie crinkled her nose. “What do you mean? I need to sleep so I can go can to work tonight.”

“You’re working on your third strike.”

She gasped. “My third…listen Asa, you can’t just come to my place and start ordering me around.”

He’d warned her but she didn’t listen. He grabbed her by the forearms and yanked her across his lap, face down.

“What are you doing?” She squeaked trying to pull away from him.

Asa brought his hand down on her ass with a decisive smack.

“Oh!” Jamie cried out before going still. “What are you doing?”

“Teaching you.”

He rubbed his hand over the swell of her rear, enjoying the fact that she only wore a small a pair of panties and a t-shirt that barely covered her midriff to bed. Asa never thought he would get so hard looking at a pair of plain white underwear. Her ass was so plump that her cheeks hung out of them. He squeezed her round bottom before moving the sides of panties to her crevice which gave her the appearance of wearing a thong. Asa licked his lips when he saw all that exposed skin and his print where the blood had rushed to her skin from his hit.

Jamie began to squirm. “Please, Asa. Let me up. This isn’t funny anymore.”

He smacked each cheek this time making her yelp. “Who’s laughing? I never laugh when I’m administering punishment.”

“Punishment? I’m not your child and—”

He smacked her again, cutting her off mid rant. Asa found her defiance amusing because each time she was naughty, he got to discipline her and that turned him on.

“Ow!”

“What was that?”

“Please, no more.”

“Why should I stop, when you’ve been a bad girl? Besides, whether you care to admit it or not, you love it but you’re too ashamed to admit that you’re just as depraved as me.” And with that, he spanked her more forcefully. ‘That’s for defying me at the hospital. I told you to wait for me but you didn’t.”

“I’m sorry!” she cried. “Please no more.”

“That’s it, little girl. Daddy loves to hear you beg.” He caressed the flesh that he’d just abused, soothing it and calming her down. Asa noticed a damp spot in the crotch of her undies and grinned. Yes, his little girl loved this too. She was just too scared to admit it. Eventually, he would show her that there was freedom in giving in to him and accepting his will.

He rubbed between her legs. “What’s this? I think someone likes this more than she’s letting on. I think Daddy needs to find out for certain. He slipped his finger inside her underwear, rubbing along her slit.

Jamie released a moan.

“You like this, don’t you?” Asa massaged her labia before slipping a finger inside the damp folds to graze her clit.

Jamie moaned in response.

Asa removed his hand and popped ass with more force.

“Yes!” Jamie screamed. “I like it.”

Asa smacked her again. “Yes, who?”

“Yes…Daddy.”

He stroked the back of her head with his other hand before returning to his task. Asa slid his fingers inside her wet heat. She was ready for him. But he wasn’t going to give it to her, just yet. Not until her punishment was complete. She might have believed that he was finished, but Asa was just beginning. He removed his fingers and proceeded to give her ass a succession of slaps. Her soft cries and pleadings for mercy made him harder with each passing second.

Each time she tried to wiggle away, he hit harder until she lay compliant. “Good girl. That was for lying to me earlier.” Asa rubbed her bottom again.

She sniffled.

“You do know why I’m doing this to you?”

She shook her head but then as if remembering the appropriate response, she croaked, “No, Daddy.”

“I’m doing this because I want you to know that I won’t ever coddle you. You’re a strong and beautiful woman, stronger than you realize. When I first saw you, you walked with your head down as if you were scared of the world. You carried this shame on your shoulders as if you were the one who’d done something wrong. I could tell right away that you’ve been holding in that pain for a long time. I want you to let it go. Let it all out. Scream, cry, do whatever you need to let that frustration out. Rage at the monsters who broke you. I want to show you that there is beauty and pleasure in pain and when administered properly, you can release and let go. I want to be the one to give it to you. Now, we’re going to go one more round. For each pop, I want you to count and thank me for it,” Asa explained as he caressed her bottom.

“Y-yes, Daddy,” Jamie whispered.

“Count!” Whack! When he’d spanked her before, Asa had held back, aware of his own strength. But this time, he didn’t. He gave everything he had in those hits. By the time he was finished with Jamie, her ass would be numb.

“One! Thank you, Daddy.”

Whack!

“Two! Thank you, Daddy.

Whack!

“Oh, God! Th-three! Thank you, Daddy,” Jamie cried out as the tears started to flow.

By the time Asa made it to ten, Jamie was sobbing uncontrollably.

Asa gathered her into his arms and Jamie curled into his lap with her head resting against his chest. She cried as if a damn had burst forth within her. He held and rocked her, absorbing her pain. He kissed the top of her head. “It’s going to be okay. Daddy’s going to take care you.”

He held on to her until her sobs subsided. When she went completely still, he realized that she’d fallen asleep in his arms. Gently, he tucked her under the covers and kissed her forehead.

She curled into the fetal position as she slept, underlying her vulnerability. She looked so beautiful and innocent. More than anything, he wanted to wake her and slip inside that tight pussy but he held back. She needed to rest, especially after that intense emotional outburst. Jamie may not have realized it yet, but she needed to breakdown like that in order to heal herself from a past that had left her in tatters.

While she was sleep, his phone rang. He pulled it out of his pocket and saw that it was from the hospital. “Dr. Stansfield speaking.”

“Yes, Dr. Stansfield. This is Hannah. You wanted me to do a search on the database to see if Miles Robinson was seen at any of the surrounding hospitals. When I pulled up his records, I see that he was admitted to St. Michaels twice for different issues. I see he suffered a concussion from a football injury. And the other time, he came in for a dislocated shoulder. Also, sports related. He was also treated by a Dr. Hal Jefferson earlier this year.”

Asa was familiar with Hal who had surgical privileges at the hospital. “Dr. Jefferson is an orthopedic surgeon. What does the file say the patient was treated for?”

“Looks like a broken radius in the right arm.”

“Thanks for looking into that for me, Hannah.”

“You’re welcome Dr. Stansfield.”

When she didn’t hang up right away, Asa asked. “Was there anything else I could help you with?”

“Well, a bunch of us are having a little party in the employee lounge on Friday for Phyllis’ retirement. I was hoping you could stop by.”

“I’ll see what I can do. Thanks for the information, Hannah.”

“Anytime, Dr. Stansfield.”

This time he ended the call without waiting to see if there was anything else she wanted to say. He normally would have looked up that information himself. That way he wouldn’t have to deal with a third party because it often led to awkward and unwanted conversations like the one Hannah tried to initiate. Asa was aware of how some of the staff referred to him and while he found it amusing, for the most part, he ignored it.

Because of what he did outside of work, he believed it prudent that he not get too attached to anyone in particular. Although he had gone out a few times with a couple different colleagues so people wouldn’t think he was strange. That was one of the key rules to monster hunting, blending in and remaining above suspicion. Often when killers were caught, it was because they got sloppy. And for the rare occasion a meticulous one was apprehended, no one saw it coming.

Little Jimmy who used to mow the neighbors’ lawns was always such a nice boy. Who would have guessed that Jimmy had human body parts in his deep freezer? And in Asa’s mind, that was how he kept the mask from slipping so no one would see the darkness inside. Be friendly, but not too much so. Give the appearance of normalcy and no one ever would see it coming.

Asa was prepared to live this existence for as long as he lived but then Jamie had come into his world. Recognizing a kindred spirit within her, he knew his life would never be the same.

He filed the information that Hannah had given him about Miles Robinson to the back of his mind to be used at a later date. But for now, his full concentration was on Jamie. While she was sleeping, Asa inspected her apartment gleaning bits and pieces of her life. He got a better idea of who she was with each item he discovered. He saw that she was a fan of chunky peanut butter based on the different varieties in her cabinet. Asa could tell that Jamie lived modestly. She had a small television set but no cable or satellite hook-up, just a digital television. So, it was obvious she didn’t watch it that often. But, she had two large book shelves that looked as if they’d come from a second-hand store. They were overstuffed with books of all kinds, from romance to mysteries. He could tell which were her favorites, based on how well worn some of them were. She seemed to favor the ones where there was some kind of adventure or paranormal element. So, she liked to escape.

After his exploration, he returned to her bedroom and laid next to her. The bed was barely big enough for the both of them but he enjoyed holding her. He closed his eyes, tired from his shift.

Asa wasn’t sure how long he slept but he felt her moving against him. She looked up at him, seeming disoriented. “Asa?”

“Yes, sweetheart?”

“I thought I dreamed it all. But, you’re here and I’m still sore.”

“I couldn’t leave you the way you were. That breakdown you had…have you ever had a release like that before?”

She hesitated for a moment before answering. “When I was first put in foster care, it was state ordered that I see a psychologist considering all the trauma I had gone through. I didn’t really connect well with my therapist. Maybe because he looked similar to my father, so I never felt as if I could open up to him fully. I just said what I thought he wanted to hear and I cried at the appropriate moments and basically, made it through the state mandated hours. I don’t think it was a complete waste of time. He did give me helpful tips on how to deal with my anxiety, but I think back then I didn’t fully come to terms what had happened to me. It’s kind of weird because I didn’t know what was happening to me was wrong, until someone told me that it was. So, imagine this brand new world that’s thrust upon you, and you have to deal with it and function like everything is alright.”

“I understand perfectly.”

She raised her head to look at him. “I understand perfectly. To the outside world, I lived a charmed life. I had best of everything, hung out with the right people, and was the typical over achiever. And by the time I was ten, I had my first ulcer. It was pretty bad. I would get these horrible stomach pains because I was extremely stressed all the time.”

“That sounds terrible.”

“It was but the worst part was the pretense. When people saw us, they believed we were the ideal family but what people didn’t know was that my father wore a mask. It only came off when he was alone with me and my mother. My mother fell in line pretty quickly because she cherished her creature comforts and her status more than she valued hers and my safety. So, I suppose in a way, she was as guilty of the goings on in our house as my father was. But my father…he was a real piece of work.”

“So, what happened to him?”

“I killed him.”
