Plaything at the Royal Wedding: An MFMM Royal Romance by Lana Hartley (41)

Epilogue

Lacey

They had me blindfolded through the hangar so I couldn’t see any of the flight schedules, but I know for a fact that it wasn’t a sex thing since Adam was holding our six-month-old son, Lucas, the whole way. I think that’s a reasonable assumption at least.

There’s also the fact that we’re on a plane at all, but that wouldn’t necessarily stop us!

Charlie and Sam have been fawning over me during my months of recovery, even though I’ve been perfectly fine since shortly after we left the hospital. I swear, they worry too much.

They say they have a huge surprise for me though, so we’re now on a private jet on the way to...who knows where really. They won’t tell me! Not even when I tried to argue about safety reasons, or for the company; still nothing.

It’s this big huge secret apparently.

Finally, after what seems like half a day—and might very well have been—we touchdown. They let me look out the window, but I have absolutely no hint as to where we are.

What I do see is an absolutely beautiful country with dazzling buildings all leading up to what I can only assume is a castle plucked straight out of a fairytale.

There are people bustling all around, shops and stands littering the whole way.

What strikes me the most though is how pristine everything is.

There’s not a speck of litter to be found. It’s almost reminiscent of my home town in Switzerland, but the architecture is entirely different. And we don’t exactly have a palace.

Then it dawns on me.

“All this time, you guys were planning this?” I say to them. “All that buildup?”

“What?” Adam says, shocked.

“Did you...figure it out?” Charlie says.

“There’s no way!” Sam says.

I smirk at my three guys. “You knew I was feeling better so you’re taking me to Disneyworld! I don’t understand all the secrecy though!”

They all burst into a fit of roaring laughter, our son giggling along with his fathers. I stare at the four of them in confusion.

“W-what? What’s so funny?” I say.

“This...isn’t Disneyworld,” Sam says as he finally calms down.

“We’ll explain everything soon,” Adam says.

Charlie grabs my hand and leads me gingerly down the steps as we exit the airplane. There’s a long limo waiting for us.

“Lords,” the driver says as he bows to the three of them.

“Lords?” I’m very confused. “What does he mean—?”

But I’m quickly ushered into the vehicle. We settle down, and I get Lucas settled in his seat and we take off.

“Okay, you boys need to spill it. Now,” I say firmly.

They each simply shake their heads.

Ugh. Why are guys so frustrating?

We ride the rest of the way in silence. I peek out of the window and quickly realize we’re approaching the giant palace in the center of the town. It’s pretty hard to miss, but up close it’s even more glorious.

We get out of the car, and there are two men waiting for us. One looks to be fairly no-nonsense and serious, and the other is quite old but still has a very commanding presence.

“Right on schedule, Your Highnesses,” the serious one says.

“Yes, yes. Hello, hello,” Adam says with a wave of his hand.

“Hello, Father,” Charlie says to the older man.

“Father? What?!” I shriek.

The older man simply smiles and takes my hand in both of his. His hands are very warm, and the air around him is stiff but peaceful at the same time.

“I’ve heard quite a bit about you. I must say, this isn’t quite what I had in mind, but the boys have done very well, both in business...and with you,” he says.

For some reason, it brings a blush to my face.

“And this must be my grandson. Hello, little Lucas! We’ll get to know each other soon,” he says with a smile.

“Okay, can someone please fill me in before I get angry?” I glare at my three guys.

“Okay, so we’re really bad at the truth. We’re sorry,” Adam says.

“We were sent away from this island a bit over a year ago to make Denham’s company work. And we wanted to make sure we did, one way or another, before we told you,” Sam says.

“We are...princes. This is our father, the king of this island. Whoever brought back the most beautiful woman was set to take his throne, as well,” Charlie finishes.

“And that means...starting today...” Adam begins.

“You’re our Queen,” they say in unison.

Okay. So maybe this isn’t Disneyworld.

Maybe it’s better.

I have three Prince Charmings and a better happy ending than anyone could ever ask for!
