The Billionaire's Embrace: A Billionaire Romance (The Hampton Billionaires Book 2) by Erika Rose (3)

CHAPTER 3

Fawn walked towards the elevators feeling giddy. She wasn’t sure if it was the single scotch she had, or Seth’s company.

Somehow he found a way to make her feel comfortable being Fawn Di Maggio, none of the sparkle of being FAWN applied. She was just a girl he liked, one he was interested in, one he wanted to spend more time with.

She had dated several guys, being famous drew men like food drew flies. Although only one had managed to get her into bed. The experience had been nothing like the love stories Fawn had read or what her friends had told her it would be like. If she had to describe it to someone she would use one word. Lukewarm.

However, being with Seth felt different. Firstly the attraction to him was on a scale she had never experienced before. The fact that he didn’t know who she was attracted her even more. Even though he had an inkling he hadn’t been sure.

If she had to be brutally honest with herself, she had imagined his lips against hers all day. Her hands in his unruly blonde hair.

She didn’t know what was going to happen once they stepped into her room, but she knew she wasn’t ready for their day together to end just yet.

“What floor?” Seth asked as they reached the elevator.

“Penthouse.” Fawn answered smiling as she pulled out the keycard that granted them access to that floor.

“The best in the house Miss Di Maggio.” Seth said as he stepped in behind her.

Fawn smiled. “You would know.”

A few people stepped in beside them and Fawn instantly looked down, allowing her hair to curtain around her face. She didn’t need anyone else recognizing her tonight.

The elevator door opened a few times on the different floors and each time someone stepped out, Seth moved closer.

She could smell the fresh scent of his aftershave; feel the heat radiating from his body. She stepped out and turned to Dom. “You can have the rest of the night off; I’ll let you know if I leave the hotel in the morning.”

Dom looked from Seth to Fawn, the question clear in his eyes. Does she trust him? “I’m fine Dom. Besides if anything happens to me he’s easy to track down. His parents own the hotel.”

Dom nodded briefly before stepping back into the elevator. Fawn waited for it to close before she turned to Seth smiling. “Just making sure I’ve got all my bases covered.”

Seth shrugged. “Might be a good thing, seems like you’ve got a lot of fans stalking you.”

“I wouldn’t say stalking, but definitely overzealous.”

She walked into the luxurious suite. The cream and sand color décor had calmed her from the moment she stepped in. She walked over to the wet bar to offer Seth a drink but before she could, she heard him open the baby grand in front of the wall to ceiling windows.

“You play?” Fawn asked as she opened a bottle of sparkling water for herself.

“I used to. Spent about seven years in piano recitals until my dad said it was time I learn the family business.”

“Did you enjoy it?” Fawn asked as she moved to the other side of the piano.

Seth smiled, Fawn felt arousal pool low in her belly. “More than the family business.”

His strong graceful fingers moved over the keys with comfort and expertise before he started playing Someone Like You from Adele. The simple melody flowed over her and Fawn realized there was more to him than the rich playboy he let on.

Once the cords were finished Fawn found his steel gaze focused on her. “Do you play?”

Fawn laughed. “I could sing from the time I was six, no one ever saw any use in teaching me how to play. I did however learn to play the guitar when I was on tour a few years back.”

“You should teach me sometime. I’ve always wanted to play the guitar.” Seth said softly.

“Well since you taught me how to play golf, it would only be fair.” Fawn said as she moved over to the sitting area.

Seth came and sat down next to her taking the bottle from her as she was about to sip. He was so close, Fawn was sure he was going to kiss her.

“Mind if I have a drink?” Seth asked as he took a long drink of water. The fact that the bottle had been against her lips a moment ago, made it seem more intimate.

Fawn could feel the temperature rise in the penthouse, the air-conditioning that was on a set temperature did nothing to quiet the heat.

“So besides the piano do you enjoy music?” Fawn asked, knowing if she didn’t talk she might just jump him.

“Yes, I do. I’ve always liked a certain sound. It’s hard to explain. A bit of rock, a bit a folk, more or less a little of everything.”

“So you don’t like my music?” Fawn asked as she cocked a brow.

“No offense, but whoever is writing your music sucks. And I’m pretty sure it’s not you.”

Fawn laughed. She had been complaining to her manager about the type of music she was doing for the past two years. The folk music she loved and songs she had written herself he had told her would never sell. Seth just confirmed her thoughts that her music was catchy tunes, but nothing to be remembered. “I have to say it’s quite corny.” Clearing her throat she belted out a couple of lines from her last hit song. :”It doesn’t exactly take a rocket scientist to write Lemon and Sugar is what you are. Sweet and sour that goes quite far. The problem is the fans love it, even if I don’t.”

“Then why sing it?” The question was simple, honest even. The answer wasn’t as easy.

Fawn thought for a moment before answering. “I sing what the people like, what my fans want. They’re young and happy and think they are always in love. It sells.”

“That’s a shit excuse.” Seth said his gaze meeting hers levelly.

Fawn wanted to be offended but Seth was right. He was the first person that challenged Fawn when it came to her career. Not just patting her on the head and telling her good job. “I know, it’s just I’ve never had a chance to record my own music, to see if it sells. Besides what’s with all the questions?”

“Just interested.” Seth said as his fingers tangled in her hair.

“Really? Well since we’ve been talking about me so much, how about you. What do you do for fun?”

“Me?” Seth laughed, but Fawn could see a flash of insecurity in his steel eyes. “Well last night I went to an awesome house party. There were students chugging beer everywhere, girls in bikinis and Stefan who’s always working got completely smashed. That’s the only reason he agree to a game of golf this morning. He was too hung over to work.”

“Is that something you do often?” Fawn asked. The last thing she needed was a playboy who attended a different party every night.

Seth continued fiddling with the keys on the piano before answering her. “It used to be. But these days I don’t find them as fun anymore. All the parties are the same after awhile. It’s just the faces and the music that changes.”

The way he spoke made Fawn believe him. “What do you find fun?”

Seth closed the baby grand and moved around it. He placed his hands on either side of Fawn where she was leaning on the piano, effectively caging her in. “I haven’t had as much fun as I did today in a long time.”

Fawn felt nervous having him so close. Her heartbeat thrummed to the beat of the throbbing that had started between her legs. She enjoyed Seth’s honesty, but also knew she could get burned by getting involved with him. “You’re just saying that to get me into bed.”

Seth grinned at her cockily before weaving his hand through her thick black hair and capturing her neck. His lips moved closer and stopped an inch from hers. “If I wanted to get you into bed, I would’ve told you I’ve thought about fucking you all day. How I’ve wondered what you’ll taste like. I would’ve told you I wanted you to scream my name in ecstasy, as you fell apart in my arms.”

Fawn felt her breath back up, her nipples sprung to attention aching to be touched. His words had sent her whole body aquiver. Just when she thought he was going to kiss her he moved away.

“But I didn’t.” He said as he stepped back, his eyes still on hers. “I didn’t want to push you, especially if you’re not ready.”

Fawn’s whole body burned with desire. She wanted nothing more than to spend the night with him. Even though she knew he was a rich playboy, there was something about him. A way about him that made her want to get to know him better. The way he challenged her. The way he sent quivers through her body with words alone, made her wonder what it would be like to have him deep inside her. Fawn held his gaze whilst weighing her options. She had wanted many things in her life but she’d be damned if she ever wanted something as much as she wanted Seth Northman at that moment. “I’m ready.” Her voice was soft, almost wanton to her own ears.

She watched as Seth moved closer, inch by inch. His breath was hot on her lips as he spoke. “You better be sure Fawn, I’m not sure I could walk away after a kiss?”

The question was clear in his eyes.

Fawn didn’t answer; instead she weaved her hands into the thick hair at his nape and pressed her mouth against his.

Understanding her answer, Seth didn’t need any more confirmation. He pulled Fawn against him. Her softness against his hard planes.

His tongue slipped into her mouth, tasting of scotch and passion. Fawn stroked his tongue with her own, exploring the texture.

Seth slipped his hands around her cupping her buttocks squeezing slightly. Fawn felt her body alight with desire.

Needing to touch, to feel skin, she tugged his shirt out of his pants and ran her nails along his back.

A groan erupted deep in his throat; Fawn swallowed it with a hungry kiss.

“You better slow down Fawn.” Seth groaned as he pulled away fractionally.

Wanting him, wanting more Fawn smiled. “We can slow down next time.”

Seth reached for her, picked her up and carried her to the bedroom. For a moment he wanted to thank his parents for letting him run the hotel causing him to know the precise route to the bedroom. He didn’t have to be awed by the lavish surroundings. He knew there would be an antique bureau in the corner by the window. The bed would be a four poster with Egyptian cotton. The lights would dim with a remote on the bedside table. He only had to focus on Fawn.

He felt her thighs bunch against his hands as he walked to the bed.

Fawn loved the feel of his strong hands on her smooth legs; she wanted them to seek higher. To ease the ache between her legs.

As he set her down on the bed, Fawn licked her lips inviting him to join her with her eyes.

Seth’s eyes were a smoky grey from arousal. Focused on her, he drew his shirt over his head tossing it aside.

Fawn felt her breath quicken. She had guessed right, he was all hard planes and defined muscle. Not too much, just enough to define his abdomen. She itched to get her hands on him.

Seth merely gave her a swaggering smile before he undid his pants and pushed them down. As he stepped out he kicked his shoes aside and moved towards Fawn, his arousal obvious through his boxers.

She felt giddy with want or excitement, possibly both. She pushed herself higher up on the bed as Seth moved in between her legs.

He started kissing her ankle, running hot wet kisses up the inside of her leg. When he reached her thigh he swiftly glanced in her direction before smugly pushing up her dress and pressing a hot hard kiss between her thighs.

Fawn nearly became undone. The sensations were overwhelming her. The feel of his mouth against her legs. The direct heat of kiss on the part of her that ached to be touched felt even hotter against her underwear.

Seth grinned invitingly as he moved further up her body until he nipped a taut nipple through her dress.

Fawn couldn’t take it anymore. This was torture. She was throbbing, she needed release. Taking control she reached for the hem of her dress and pulled it over her head. Seth moved back giving her space until the dress was off and his eyes ran hungrily over her bare chest.

“Fuck!” He cursed before he took a hard nipple in his mouth and sucking, hard.

Fawn wriggled beneath him hoping he’d get the message.

Seth laughed before getting up and moving to the bathroom.

Fawn lay back on the bed covering her eyes with her arm, could she be this desperate? Seth re-emerged with a foil packet. “Luckily the hotel is clever enough to supply these.”

Fawn laughed at his words as he slipped off his boxers. Her laugh quickly dried up as she saw his beautiful hard length. All strength and velvet.

After Seth dealt with the condom he moved in between her legs and slowly tugged her panty down.

Fawn bit down on her bottom lip, trying to distract herself from the fire sizzling between her legs, aching to be doused.

Seth moved over her, nudging her entrance softly before looking deep into her now sapphire blue eyes. “You ready?”

Fawn had lost the power of speech; she merely bucked her hips nudging him back.

Seth groaned before he slid into her slowly. Fawn felt her body stretch and purr as it accommodated him.

Once Seth had reached his hilt he let out a breath he’d been holding and started to move. His rhythm wasn’t fast, but it wasn’t slow. It was just fast enough to excite and slow enough to prolong.

Every time he thrusted Fawn felt him hit the bundle of nerves deep in her. She felt as the fire built and built, she knew an explosion was close.

Her body was alight with desire, beads of sweat forming on her upper lip as she scraped her nails along Seth’s back.

She found his eyes, to her amazement they were focused on her. The previous time Fawn had allowed a man into her bed, he had been more interested watching her breasts than her face.

Having Seth watch her about to fall apart was more intimate that Fawn could’ve guessed. It just poured more oil on the fire inside her.

She felt the explosion, racking her body with spasms, shooting fireworks of pleasure radiating from her vagina. Still lost in the pleasure and quivers Fawn felt as Seth started pulsing inside her. She opened her eyes and watched him. Watched as he lost control, clenched his teeth and emptied himself into her.
