Epilogue

Six Months Later

Blake

The Games were a whirlwind, but my time after The Games, from buying a house to moving into that house then having Kelly move in with me was an even bigger rush.

We moved into the Adirondack style house with its own swimming pond that seemed like it was frozen most of the time and looked out over the mountains so we could both keep up with our sports.

Kelly hadn’t formally announced anything, but she was definitely going back for The Games in 2022, and I was pretty sure she could convince me to do the same as long as I didn’t break one of my old man knees as one of the oldest guys out there.

I just got done boarding for the day and came inside. Shaking the snow out of my dreads, I slipped my boots off on the back deck then went inside to see my phone blinking from the counter. I’d ruined enough of those things or lost them in the snow and had to go hunting in the mountains to know I wasn’t going to bring it with me when I was on the board.

Picking up my phone, I unlocked and scrolled through the messages. Mostly from Kelly. It had been six months since I first met the girl and just seeing her name could still make me smile. The girl that started out as a bet had become so much more. And even though we’d only been together for six months, I was ready for that something more.

Kelly:  Practicing later than I thought. I’ll heat up something for dinner when I get home so don’t wait up.

I frowned and looked at our stainless-steel fridge. The galley kitchen was small but had a great view of the mountains. And it’s not like we did much cooking since Kelly and I were both sponsored by a meal prep company who hooked us up. I was starting to get used to all of the chicken and healthy eating. Maybe I would be in shape for the next Games as the old man. Maybe.

Without thinking of what I was typing, I put in a quick reply to Kelly then went to the fridge, grabbing two of the pre-packed chicken, sweet potato, and green beans meals before throwing them in a plastic bag.

The girl practiced too damn much. She was always so dedicated to everything, and a little break for dinner with her favorite snowboarder probably couldn’t hurt.

***

Kelly and I were regulars at the training center.  It was like our own little town where everybody knew our name.

I knew every building and training area like the back of my hand, so it didn’t take long to get to the ice rink, which was surprisingly empty.

“What the hell?” I muttered, looking over the freshly zambonied ice.

“Looking for Kelly?” A gruff voice bellowed.

I looked to the stands where Kelly’s coach sauntered toward me. He was a burly man with a graying mustache and balding head. He looked like all the coaches I’d always seen on cheesy movies, complete with the permanent scowl. That or the guy still blamed me for Kelly and Logan not getting gold in The Games.

“Yeah. Brought her dinner so she wouldn’t get hungry during practice,” I said, holding up the plastic bag.

“Hmmm.” Coach crossed his arms over his chest. “Her and Logan finished up a few minutes ago. She said she had plans with you.”

“With me?” I asked, raising an eyebrow.

Coach sighed, rubbing his forehead. “That’s what she told me. She went to the locker room, and I haven’t seen her. You can wait for her down that hallway.”

I nodded, not sure what else to say. “Okay, thanks, Coach.”

I started in the other direction and Coach yelled after me, “Don’t screw up her concentration for practices if you find a surprise you don’t like!”

I wasn’t sure what any of that meant so I just waved and jogged toward the locker room.

Since the place was empty, with it mostly being summer athletes in to train, and they were all at dinner, I thought the girl's locker room would be empty. And I was right. There wasn’t anyone near the first or second set of lockers, and it wasn’t until I got toward the back of the room that I heard faint rustling. Slowly I approached the last set and then peered around the corner.

Kelly stood leaned over the bench with her perfect ass toward me. She was wearing nothing but a pair of black satin panties and bra. The sight of all of her creamy white skin already had me rock hard.

She didn’t notice me or hear me, so I slowly walked to where she was standing and leaned over, pressing my lips to her ear. “Practicing late?”

She gasped and whirled around, fully standing upright. Damn if I thought the back was a sight, seeing her toned stomach and perky breasts spilling out the top of her bra was enough to get me off right there.

It didn’t matter how many times I’d seen her like this; I couldn’t get enough of her. She was all mine, and I loved it. I didn’t need a bet or anything else. Just us. No secrets. No bets.

“What are you doing here?” She asked, crossing her arms over her chest.

I frowned and held up the bag. “I brought you dinner since you said you were practicing late. I thought I’d surprise you, but you must have had other plans since you’re wearing those panties I’ve never seen.”

Anger suddenly boiled up inside of me. Did she tell me she was practicing late so she could meet up with someone else? Would I have to go and kick some blue haired swimmer’s ass?

Kelly huffed and rolled her eyes. “No, you hoser, I was going to surprise you and come home early to show you this new set that came in, and now you ruined the surprise.”

I grinned, setting the bag down. “Did you just call me a hoser?”

She put her hand on her hip. “Yeah, that’s your Canadian slang for an idiot, right?”

I laughed then leaped forward, wrapping my arms around her waist and pulling her tight little body against me. “I love it when you talk Canadian to me.”

“Blake!”  She squealed. “We’re in a locker room! We can do this when we get home!”

“Why?” I asked, sliding my hands down to cup her ass. “Nobody else is here, and you’ve been saying you need other hobbies,” I said as I moved my lips to her supple neck and kissed down to the spot where it met her shoulders.

She moaned, squirming against me, but her core dug right into my bulge. “Blake, by hobbies I didn’t mean sex in a locker room,” she cooed.

“We don’t have to have sex, there are other ways I can make you move,” I murmured into her neck, sliding my hand to the waist band of her panties before slowly dipping my fingers to her soft flesh.

“Blake,” she whispered.

I didn’t know if she said my name for me to keep going or to stop, so I just took it as the former and hooked a finger inside of her. She gasped, her pussy clenching around my finger as I added my thumb, swirling it around her swollen clit.

“Oh, fuck, Blake,” she moaned, rocking her hips against my hand.

“I thought you didn’t want to do anything in the locker room,” I smirked, feeling her clench around my finger.

She moaned her head bowing as she rode out her orgasm. “You can’t ask me these types of questions mid-climax, and you can’t start something without finishing it.”

Before I could ask what, she meant by that, her hands were at the waistband of my jeans, unbuttoning, unzipping, and tugging them down.

My dick sprang out of my boxers like it was ready and waiting for her.

“Do you have a condom?” Kelly asked breathlessly.

I froze. “Uh, you know, I’m not sure, but you’re on the pill now so why don’t we go without? Let me feel all of you,” I whispered, regaining my composure and sliding down her bra straps, kissing her shoulders.

“Pulling a sexy move isn’t going to make me forget protection, Blake,” she murmured, moving her hands to my back pockets.

Before I could stop her, she pulled out the black velvet box. She stepped back, holding the box in her hands.

“Blake…is this…?”

I smirked and grabbed the box from her, opening it up to reveal the sparkling Princess cut diamond ring that I seriously thought about trading in my medal to afford. Luckily, we got a sponsorship the day after I bought the ring. Sure, it was soon to think about marriage, but I was more than sure about her.

“Well, Kelly, I was planning this romantic moment with sharing a picnic with you in the stands and telling you how it may be early in our relationship but I’ve known for a while that you were the only one that I’m supposed to be with.”

Kelly stared at me wide-eyed as I got down on my knees, holding the box to her. “But of course, my queen is impatient and had to find the box before I got a chance. So, I guess there’s no better way to ask you than now. Kelly Johnson, will you make me the tallest guy on the mountain and be my partner? In The Games, in sponsorships, and as my wife?”

Kelly put her hands to her lips, a small gasp escaping her mouth as tears pricked her eyes.

“Please don’t tell me you’re gonna say no when I’m here on my knees with my dick out.”

She shook her head a small smile crossing her lips as she moved her head down. “No…the answer is definitely not no.”

“So, it’s a yes?” I raised an eyebrow.

“It’s a definite yes,” she squeaked.

The grin spread across my face, and I put the ring on her finger before standing up and taking her hands. “Now that you interrupted me, and I had to propose with my junk out, we’re gonna have to finish.”

“But what if I just want to stare at my ring?” Kelly asked with a smile, holding the sparkly diamond glimmering off her ring finger.

I smirked and pulled her to me. “Then we’ll have to go for a position that you can do both.”

She gasped as I turned her around and pressed her back to my front. Pushing her against the lockers, her hand flattened against the metal doors as I slowly pulled down her black satin panties and she stepped out of them.

“Now spread those beautiful legs, fiancée,” I commanded, putting my hand between her thighs as she moved them apart.

“Yes, fiancé,” she practically moaned as she lifted her perfectly round ass up.

Since Kelly was a bit shorter than me, I had to lean down, pressing my lips to her shoulder as I moved her hips up, and slowly inched her wet entrance over my cock. She moaned as I filled her up to the hilt and she pushed her ass into me.

“Damn, you always feel so good,” I murmured rocking into her. This was the first time we’d gone without a condom, and I could feel all of her.

“You do,” she whimpered, circling her hips against me.

I kept one hand on her waist and the other on her braid, pulling on it as I kissed her shoulders, moving in and out of her in a delicately slow rhythm.

“Blake, I’m gonna, I’m gonna,” she moaned, her body clenching around me as she writhed against my back.

I moved my hand from her hair and wrapped both arms around her waist, rocking faster in her.

She moaned, her body clenching around me again and I knew I wouldn’t last long, so I moved one hand from my waist to her stomach and slid my thumb to her clit, circling it as we moved.

She screamed out her orgasm as I came alongside her.

We both stood there, leaning against the cool metal lockers, breathing heavily together.

“You think anyone heard us?” I whispered, kissing just below her earlobe.

“Do we care if they did?” she asked with a laugh.

“Hey, you’re the Olympic golden girl.”

She held up her hand. “And fiancée of snowboarding world record holder, Blake Tremblay. Think this is going to start a US and Canadian war?”

“I don’ t know. Wanna make a bet on it?” I asked.

She laughed. “I think we’re both done with bets, though I’m going to have to tell Becca she won.”

I raised an eyebrow even though she couldn’t see me. “What kind of bet was that? That we’d have sex in the locker room.”

Kelly leaned against my back and looked up, her sparkly blue eyes meeting mine. “No, Becca said we’d be engaged within six months. I told her I didn’t think so, so we made a bet. I lost.”

I smiled, shaking my head. “Technically, when you think about it, you won because you’re the one engaged, though I should squeeze you for making a bet about me.”

She smiled. “I learned from the best.”

I kissed her. Despite everything that happened with us, if I had to go back in time I’d still make the stupid bet because in the end, it led me to something better than a gold medal or The Games: the love of my life.

The End. For Now.
