She made it okay to be happy again. I had loved Emily with all my heart, but Alicia shook me to my soul. She was my everything and I would die for her.

"And so do you. Don't you have a gig on Saturday?"

"Yeah, Tia will want to rehearse this week."

"Good, I want to come watch," she said turning around in my arms to face me. "Just promise me you won't sing the song you gave me for our wedding."

Frowning I said, "But I thought you loved it?"

"You know I did. It's just so precious to me, I want to keep it all to myself," Alicia admitted.

I leaned down and kissed those beautiful soft lips. Alicia parted them, to allow me access to fully taste her as I slipped my tongue into her mouth. I could still detect a hint of mango and champagne we feasted on for breakfast.
