Glock (The Bad Disciples MC Book 4) by Savannah Rylan (7)

Chapter 7

Glock

Sage looked like she hadn’t bought a word I said. This beautiful, gorgeous woman, who had just come in my mouth…I could still taste the sweet stickiness of her come on my lips. I had pictured this moment so many times in my head; that if I ever saw her again, I would have her. I just never thought it could actually come true.

Sage was staring back at me with her mouth wide open.

“What are you talking about, Glock?” she asked and I breathed in deeply. There was no point in hiding from her who I really was. She was bound to find out the truth sooner or later anyway.

“Well, for starters, I got into the Bad Disciples MC,” I said, and her eyes widened even further.

“You did? I figured with the new nickname you did,” she said, and a hand flew up to her mouth. I twisted around sideways so she could see my MC patch on the leather jacket I was wearing. Sage gulped, and she didn’t look like she was too pleased to hear it.

I knew what she thought about the biker lifestyle. She had always had extreme opinions about the MCs that used to operate in our neighborhood, including The Bad Disciples. She also knew that I had always dreamt of getting patched into it. It was what I had aspired to do since I was a teenager.

“So, you did it huh, Glock? You’re one of them now,” she said and crossed her arms over her perfectly rounded breasts. Breasts I had never seen bare in my life. I tried to shake those thoughts out of my head. We had more pressing matters to discuss.

“Yeah, several years ago. I started riding with them soon after you left and I hung around long enough for them to start trusting me,” I said with a smirk and pushed a hand into the pocket of my jeans. My erection was slowly diminishing, which was a good thing. It meant that I could finally stop fantasizing about fucking Sage, and focus on the conversation.

“Good for you, Glock. I hope you’re happy,” she said, but there was a caustic tone to her voice. She wasn’t happy about it, and she was making it very clear to me.

“It’s not what you think it’s like, Sage. You’ve always been very quick to judge,” I said, trying to be firm with her and she rolled her eyes.

“Explain it to me then, Glock. You guys don’t deal weapons and drugs and shoot at each other and ride your bikes too fast and shake down local businesses for protection?” she was talking fast, and I could see the veins popping up in her throat as she spoke with passion.

I clenched my jaws and shrugged my shoulders.

“All those things are true, but it’s our way of life, we don’t harm any civilians,” I said, and she rolled her eyes again.

“You don’t harm civilians! I grew up here, Glock, who are you kidding? The state of this neighborhood wouldn’t be what it is if it wasn’t for you guys!” she shrieked, and I stepped towards her. She stuck her chin out at me, looking me straight in the eyes.

“What are you going to do, Glock?” she asked in a hiss and I breathed in deeply.

“Calm down, Sage and just fucking hear me out,” I said, trying to sound as calm myself as I possibly could. She shook her head and looked away from me. I could see her fuming underneath.

“We do not harm civilians, at least my MC doesn’t, and we strive to make sure that there is peace in our territory. And there is, relatively,” I said, and Sage flashed her angry hazel eyes at me.

“Then what do you call what happened to me last night? You call that peace?” she barked, and I gritted my teeth in anger.

“What happened to you and the girl you were trying to save, is exactly what we’ve been trying to stop, which is why I wanted to talk to you,” I said, and she squinted her eyes at me and shook her head again.

“What are you talking about, Glock? What are you doing to stop this?” she said.

“We’re at war with the MC that is running this prostitution ring,” I admitted, and she tipped her head to one side, I could see that she was confused now.

“Wait, so this is a whole organized business? I thought it was just one crazy violent pimp,” she said, the anger in her voice had now changed to confusion.

“Yes, it is, and it goes against every moral code that we as MC members abide by. Prostitution, or harming innocent women and children is not what we stand for. We’ve been trying to stop them for over a year now,” I said, and Sage shook her head.

“And you haven’t been able to?” she asked, and I shrugged my shoulders.

“We’ve rescued several women from their imprisonment, and we’re still continuing to do it. We’ve raided their warehouses and their holding cells, and every time we do, they come back fucking stronger and find more women to abuse,” I explained and Sage turned from me and walked over to the kitchen counter.

I could see her back to me now. She was clutching the edge of the counter with both hands and leaning forward like she had an ache in her stomach. I wanted her to know that I was going to do everything I could to catch the bastard who’d touched her. Also, no matter how much I wanted her, I wanted her gone. Long Beach and our neighborhood weren't safe for a beautiful young woman like her, not until we had taken care of the Dragon Knights.

“I can still see her tortured face, Glock,” I heard her say.

“I know, Sage, I hate what they’re doing to those women. One of my brother’s girlfriends got involved in it, we rescued her, but I think they’re both are still trying to recover from it,” I said in a softer voice and Sage whipped around to look at me again.

“Try harder to stop them, Glock, something needs to be done,” she cried, and I rubbed my temples with my fingers. I was trying harder, I was trying as hard as I could. We all were.

“Yes, I know, we’ll get them, I just wanted you to know that I’m not sitting by and watching this happen. The Bad Disciples aren’t either,” I said, and she strode up to me.

“What are they doing to these women?” she asked, her eyes were wild with fury and sadness.

“Prostitution, and selling some of them to the flesh trade. We’ve created a shelter for the women we rescue, they have some real horror stories. It’s disgusting,” I told her and Sage’ nostrils flared, and she pursed her lips together.

“But this isn’t working, fighting them and shooting at them isn’t working, Glock,” she cried, searching my eyes wildly.

“What else are we supposed to do? This is the only way we know to stop them, Sage!” I knew my voice was raised, and my words had come out harshly. She raised her eyebrows too, she had never heard me thunder.

“Take it to the law. Maybe some legal action against them might work,” she said, and I turned away from her, frustrated.

“Fuck this, Sage. I shouldn’t have come here and talked to you,” I said and ran a hand through my hair. This was getting a little too crazy for me. She was talking about taking the matter to the courts. I couldn’t get my MC involved in shit like that.

“No, Glock, listen to me,” I heard her cry, but I had already started walking out of the kitchen. Sage wasn’t about to hold back, she was following me out.

“I’ve passed the bar exam, remember? I can help you guys with this. If you really want to put an end to this, maybe we should try a different tactic,” I heard her say and I turned to her with a jerk, bringing my face close to hers.

“What do you mean, we? It’s my brothers and me. You are not a part of this. You happened to stick up for a woman being assaulted and got assaulted yourself. That’s all that happened. You need to stay out of this now,” I was growling at her, and I knew she could sense the rage in my veins. I didn’t want her suggesting a thing like that again. I wanted her as far away from all of this as possible.

“Well, like it or not, Glock, I’m in it now,” she snapped back at me, and I squinted at her with anger, gritting my teeth.

“Stay out of this, Sage. You don’t know what you’re talking about,” I growled and walked down the hallway to the front door. She was still following me.

“I do know what I’m talking about. Assault, sexual abuse, kidnap—these are all charges that we can make against these bastards. You have the women who can testify. We can build a case against them!” she was yelling by the time I opened the door.

I whipped around to her again and drew in a deep breath, hoping that I could calm myself enough so that she would take my words seriously.

“Sage, listen to me. You’re here on a break, you’re back home after ten years. Take the time to re-connect with your mother, appreciate the gift of having a life in San Francisco, and in a few days, go back there. Take Tracy with you if you have to, just never fucking come back here with your crazy ideas!” I barked right at her face. I couldn’t remember the last time I had felt this physically angry like my whole body was shaking.

We were standing at the door now; my one foot was on the porch while Sage remained inside. She was fuming, her shoulders were heaving, and she had her arms crossed over her beautiful breasts.

“I don’t have to listen to you, Glock. You’re not my boyfriend anymore,” she hissed, and I clenched my jaw at her.

“I never was, Sage,” I said, in a deep growl and I stepped away from her, hurrying down the steps of the porch towards my parked bike. She was still standing at the door, watching me in horror as I jumped on my bike.

“Stay out of this, Sage. Stay indoors as much as you can and then go back to San Francisco. It suits you,” I growled as I revved up my accelerator and sped off on my bike.

I could hear the blood rushing in my ears. My eyes were bloodshot with rage and confusion. How could she even imagine that she could waltz back into Long Beach and bring a case down against the Dragon Knights? She hadn’t changed. She was the same aggressive, self-sufficient, know-it-all from ten years ago!

I rode my bike hard to the Rusty Pelican. I hadn’t got any information about the woman or the DK from her. Instead, I’d stripped her panties down and made her come and then stormed out of her house because she’d pissed me off again. What else could I have expected from Sage Campbell?
