His Baby to Defend (The Den Mpreg Romance Book Three) by Kiki Burrelli (11)

Chapter Eleven

Parker

Parker reached for the lock on the kennel and slid it open. He pulled the ramp down, ready to catch the huge animal in case she tried to bolt. She trotted down the ramp, as nice as could be, and led Parker to the barn. He got her in a stall and shut the door just as Glenn was coming in.

While mostly unspoken, their relationship had changed. The kiss they shared in the forest had had the potential of being erotic and hot, but something had been missing. Brady.

Though, neither he nor Glenn seemed willing to put this new relationship into words. As if speaking the situation out loud would somehow put an end to it. Glenn had already said he thought Brady was his mate, yet he felt attracted to Parker. Rather than that indicating infidelity, why couldn't it be proof of something else? Something amazing.

Parker found there was no way for him to erase the dissonance he felt when he tried to be both nephew to the coyote alpha, and lover to the man he was sent to spy on. He couldn't be both, so he would block out everything else that wasn't Brady and Glenn, at least for a while.

"He's getting settled. I made him something small to eat before his shower," Glenn informed him, carrying a box of baby pigs.

"Good thinking. Something about this Robert Foster business doesn't feel new. Like, it's been happening for a long time before either of us showed up."

"I was thinking the same thing."

"What's his angle?"

"Isn't it obvious?" Glenn asked with enough of a snarl in his voice that the little pigs squealed. "Unrequited love, a suitor scorned, if I can't have you no one can."

Parker growled at that.

"I know, I agree. Something will have to be done with this Robert Foster, but we have enough on our plate for now." Glenn moved past him and set the box down in the stall. Both shifters were ready to move quickly in case the reintroduction went downhill. The mother pig waddled over to the box and sniffed at it. After displaying no obviously aggressive signs, Glenn tipped the box on its side, careful not to jostle the little guys too much. He stood back as they lifted their tiny noses towards their long-lost mother. "Do you think she'll bolt again? Parenthood isn't for everyone."

"I honestly have no idea, but if it seems too taxing on her, we can go back to bottle feeding them. Unless Foster comes back to get them." He'd almost forgotten who the pigs belonged to. He looked at the little pigs with guilt. He couldn't fight it if Foster came back for them. He couldn't help but feel like that was the same as dooming them to a hard and short life. It wasn't a problem he could solve right now though.

Beside him, Glenn leaned into his body. It was the smallest movement, a light application of pressure and yet it meant so much. Parker noticed how quickly they had fallen into talking of we and us. He liked it, a lot.

Once it was clear the piglets were safe with their mother, all of them latched on and eating happily, they cleaned the stalls and fed the animals.

Glenn and Parker went back to the house. The water wasn't running which probably meant Brady was all done with the shower. He used his heightened senses to search the house, feeling a bit like a predator. His prey was in the bedroom. They moved like one unit in the direction of Brady's room. Glenn knocked and when Brady let out a soft, come in, the two of them entered.

Brady sat on the bed in sweats and a V-neck shirt. He looked at the two of them apprehensively. As he scratched his scruffy beard, Parker wondered what he'd look like without it. "Hey guys, so, um about earlier."

Parker grinned. He'd guessed that Brady would try to backtrack, pretend like there wasn't something boiling between the three of them. It was getting impossible to ignore and it had only been little more than a day. He didn't want to see what they would become if they waited any longer.

"No lies," Glenn said.

"And no excuses," Parker added.

Brady looked between the two of them. "You are both very intimidating."

"Are you frightened?"

"No."

That was a relief. Parker wouldn't have been able to keep walking forward if he had been. He wasn't afraid though, and Parker reached his side and sat down on the bed as Glenn did the same.

"Did you guys like, talk about this or something?" Brady asked, wringing his hands in his lap.

"Sort of. We kissed," Parker confessed. "And realized it wasn't right, not without you there."

"So, what? I'm your bridge?"

Parker liked the analogy. It made perfect sense with how he'd been feeling about Glenn. Glenn interested Parker, made him curious and turned on, but he wasn't quite able to reach him on his own. He needed the bridge. But, he didn't want Brady to feel used. Parker looked over Brady's head to Glenn, silently asking for help.

"I don't know how to describe it," Glenn said, setting his hand on Brady's knee. "I knew when I looked at you, you were my mate. My wolf pointed you out. Honestly, I think I scented you before I even got here."

"Hold on, I'm your what? Like with Caleb and Asher? I don't, I mean, that is a big commitment that I'm just not sure I have the time for. And what about all the other stuff that comes with it? I know I'm not ready for that." Brady's voice rose in pitch as he spoke. Parker was afraid he would bolt, but the whole time, Glenn rub his leg comfortingly.

Parker honestly didn't have much to say on the issue of mates. He knew he felt differently for these two people, but he didn't know any couples in his pack that were mates. A shifter didn't have to be a mate to reproduce and most of the time his mother could hardly stand to be in the same room with his father. Before the coyotes started to get sick and they began branching out, there had been many nights where Parker had fallen asleep to the sounds of his aunt and uncle fighting in the house next door. The point was, Parker didn't have any healthy relationships to mirror, and certainly had no mated relationships to learn from. He only knew what he felt for these two men. And at that moment, he felt horny.

Parker leaned back so he could watch Glenn's hand on Brady's leg easily. Brady didn't seem to notice right away, though his body responded. An impressive tent erected in his sweat pants and he started squirming.

"Dammit, Glenn! I can't think while you do that," he protested. "I had no idea what the situation was."

"Brady, my wolf would love to force the issue of you being my mate, but right now if I don't get your cock in my mouth, I think I might drop dead."

"It...the two things...they don't have to..."

"Are you asking me if it is all or nothing? I don't have the answers, Brady. I know what my friends who have gone through it have told me. From their perspective, it is irresistible. Though, none of them tried fighting it for long. You aren't stuck and neither of us will force you. You know that, right?"

"Yes," Brady replied allowing Parker to breathe easily again.

"But, we don't have to...do it all?"

Parker realized suddenly what Brady had an issue with. "You don't want to get pregnant?" That was a mind-boggling thought. A pregnant Brady would be physical proof that they were mates. While male and female shifters could reproduce freely, a pregnant male meant there was a special connection. It meant they were fated, destined.

Brady looked down, seemingly ashamed to answer his question. "I don't know, okay?" he said to his lap. "No, I mean, I do know. I've been hiding my sexuality from this town for years, how would I hide a big pregnant belly? I'd have to leave, and then what would the point of me staying in the closet for so long be for? It would be for nothing."

"Okay," Glenn said, nodding. "It works the same you know, we can all wear condoms, we can be safe. If you don't want the possibility of conceiving, then we'll take the necessary precautions."

"And it wouldn't be…less for you?" Brady asked, his voice so full of emotion, Parker couldn't keep from scooting close again to comfort him.

"As long as I get to finally touch you, it will be everything I imagined," Glenn said, his hand sliding dangerously high up Brady's thigh. Brady sucked in a deep breath from between his teeth as Parker leaned back. Glenn had gotten to watch earlier, now it was Parker's turn. He never would have thought that watching would have been just as enjoyable as participating, but as Glenn's palm grazed over Brady's erection, Parker felt like he could also feel the same. His cock hardened, pressing against the stiff denim fabric. He longed to unzip his pants, but thought it would be rude to be the first one to whip it out.

Glenn pressed his fingers into the side of Brady's face, making him look his direction. He kissed him passionately, but with an ease that clearly said, they had time. There was no rush. The animals had been tended to, and technically, Brady couldn't leave town even if he wanted to.

Parker groaned and repositioned his body on the bed, trying to give his erection more room.

"Is this...okay?" Brady asked him.

Parker nodded, unable to form the actual words in his mind. This was more than okay, this was phenomenal.

Glenn reached out and grabbed Parker's hand, holding it tightly as he brought Brady's face back around for another kiss. It was as if Parker could feel Glenn and Brady's lust and adding it to his own, he was more turned on than he ever remembered being. He felt strong yet very heavy. He breathed deeply through his mouth, inhaling the new flavors in the air of their bodies, finally beginning to mix together. This new scent was intoxicating and completely theirs.

Glenn let go so that he could use his hand to pull down Brady's pants. Brady watched, his pupils blown out, as Glenn pulled out his impressive length.

"It's been a very long time," Brady said apologetically. "It won't take much."

"We have the time," Glenn said, moving away so he could sink to his knees between Brady's legs.

Brady laid back and Parker followed his motion. Stretching next to him on his side. He claimed his mouth, spearing his tongue inside like an explorer planting a flag. This is mine, he wanted to say. Ours.

He broke the kiss just in time for them both to look down their bodies at Glenn who licked his lips.
