His Lover's Vows: Mpreg Romance (My One-Night Stand Series Book 4) by Giovanna Reaves (10)

Chapter Ten

Tucker stood outside the door of Laura’s old room listening to Lucas read Zoi a bedtime story. On a whim while cleaning out Laura’s things, he kept the books and her bedroom furniture. He didn’t know how to help his lover after what he’d heard earlier that night. It shocked him that the Hamiltons had secrets; he’d always thought they were always up-front with their children, the epitome of a perfect family. Tucker wasn’t sure what he could say that would make the situation better. He was thankful for what Marilyn and Asher did because it saved his lover’s life and he was sure Lucas felt the same way. But the fact that they kept it from him probably hurt more than anything else.

“All you need to do is hold him, Tuck.” Tucker closed his eyes. Since he and Lucas slept together, he hadn’t seen or heard from his dead wife. He thought he was finally moving on after getting rid of Rochelle and Laura’s things. “I told you, Tuck, I’ll leave when you let me go fully, but right now you need to go in there and be with them.”

For once he listened and didn't argue. Pushing off the wall, he walked into the room and simply stood there for a second waiting for Lucas to notice him. Zoi was the first one to see him and sat up in bed with her arms stretched out for him. His heart melted by her actions, but it still surprised him that she wanted him around. He walked over to the bed and picked her up getting comfortable with her in his arms, as she laid her head on his chest.

He kissed her on the crown of her head as they settled back down, he nodded for Lucas to continue the story he was reading to her before he walked in. His mind drifted, and thoughts of the future came to him . . . Lucas, reading to their son or daughter . . . Zoi being a big sister teaching her baby sibling things only she could. He saw a happy life with him and his new family. He looked at Lucas and wondered if he was thinking the same thing or if it crossed his mind.

Was he hoping for something that wouldn’t happen? There were so many things wrong with their relationship, like the fact that they lived in two different states. Could he give up the job he loved and worked hard for and move to New York to be with his lover and children? Would it be selfish for him to ask Lucas to move out of New York? Even after being married and having a child, were they rushing into things?

Speaking of marriage, did Lucas want to be married again? Would he turn me down if I ask him?

“What’s with that look?”

He looked over to Lucas to see him staring at him intently. “What look?”

“The look that says you want to solve all the problems in the world but not sure how to go about doing it?”

“So you think you know me now?” he asked with a smile.

“Not really, but I’m learning your ‘I’m thinking' facial expression. Come on, tell me what you were thinking.”

“If you would want to marry me.”

Lucas stared at him with wide, surprised eyes. “When?” he finally asked after a few minutes.

Just like that? “Whenever you’re ready,” he said hoping he didn’t show his disbelief at how easy Lucas accepted the thought.

“Okay,” he said after a heartbeat. “How about next week?”

Wait, what? Lucas must have seen the question written all over his face and chuckled. “I’m kidding, well, sort of.” He sighed and set the book down on the nightstand then stood.

It was then that he noticed Zoi had fallen asleep. Lucas reached over and took her from his arms setting her down on the bed, he kissed her on the forehead while Tucker fixed the covers around her.

He realized, even with the smallest task, they worked very well together. He kissed Zoi on her forehead once more, and they walked out of the room. Instead of going to his bedroom, they went downstairs to the kitchen. Tucker got a beer and Lucas got some water, he leaned against the counter and watched the other man take a few sips before asking his question.

“What do you mean 'sort of'?”

“We are far away from marriage. There are so many things we need to figure out—like what state we want to live in. I can’t give up my job at Hamilton, not when you know how much it means to me. And I would never ask you to give up yours. I know just how much you love what you do; I hear the pride in your voice when you talk about work.”

I guess he has been thinking about it.

“But,” he said with a sigh. “I would love to be married again, to know that there are vows and a commitment between my partner and me and mean the words behind them. To know that I belong to him and he belongs to me. To see love grow between us as we connect and grow our family.”

Tucker stood with his beer halfway to his lips listening to what Lucas had to say and, truthfully, he felt the same way. They were not in love with each other but who said that one day they wouldn’t fall in love? It was scary that things were moving pretty fast between him and Lucas, but it also felt natural. As if time had sped past them and they were the ones playing catch-up.

“Let’s do it,” Tucker said.

“Do what?”

“Get married.”

“Why?” Lucas asked.

“For all the reasons you listed. I get that we are not doing this the conventional way. But what’s normal these days? We’ll figure out everything else as time passes. Things between us won’t be perfect. I’ve lived alone for a long time, and I’m a bit set in my ways. Since seeing you at the restaurant you’ve broken up the monotony I used to call a life.”

“I take it that’s a good thing?”

“It’s a very good thing. You’re helping me keep a promise to Rochelle.”

“What was the promise?”

“That the next time I get a chance to love again, I wouldn’t pass it up.”

Lucas smirked and looked away from him for a second. “Funny, I made the same promise to Rebecca.” He turned his gaze back to Tucker. “So, do we elope or something else?”

Tucker set his beer bottle down and walked over to Lucas pulling him into his arms. “I’m taking that as a 'yes' to my proposal.” He noticed that his voice became low and deep. Lucas wrapped his arms around Tucker’s neck and leaned in closer. He lightly brushed his lips against Lucas' lips teasingly before pressing them together. His hands moved down and grabbed Lucas’ ass. Their kiss went on for minutes, and again Tucker felt as if he was an addict craving his next fix.

When they separated, Lucas smiled up at him. “You sure know how to propose to a guy.”

“Romance is my middle name, didn’t you know?”

They chuckled and separated. Lucas took his hand pulling him backward out of the kitchen and in the living room. “I think it will be better if we elope. I witnessed and was a part of the large wedding thing. I want something small and intimate, just us three, no, make that four of us.” He fell back on the couch taking Tucker with him.

“Are you sure that’s what you want?”

“Yup, now no more talking. Show me how much you want me to be yours.” He pivoted his hips grinding his erection against Tucker.

“So fucking bossy,” Tucker said with a smile.

“You better believe it.”

They didn’t waste any time. The day after their decision to get married, they’d both called into work for the week, not caring about the amount of work that would be piling up and waiting for them. Without telling their families what they were up to, they quickly booked tickets for Las Vegas for all three of them. They’d deal with the fallout when they got back.

It would be a quick wedding then they'd be off to Disneyland to have some fun as new husbands and daughter. It would have been easy for Lucas to order the Hamilton jet, but he needed this to be for him, Tucker, and Zoi. He was still reeling from what his parents told him and maybe one day he would forgive them for lying to him. But it still didn’t explain how he got pregnant.

“Are you ready?”

“Why am I not nervous?”

“What? What brought this on?”

“We are rushing things, right? I mean would we still be getting married if I wasn’t pregnant? I should be nervous or feel as if we were rushing into things too quickly, but all I can think about is how angry I am that my parents kept something so important from me.”

“We can wait if that’s what you want,” Tucker told him. “I can’t say for sure if we would be getting married now if you weren’t pregnant. But, if you’re having doubts, we can wait until you are sure. I don’t want you to feel obligated to marry me because you’re having my child. Or doing this in some ways to spite your family . . .”

“Oh, gods no, I’m not doing this to spite my family for lying to me. I can be childish sometimes, but this is too important for me to act out like that. And you’re right, we wouldn’t know for sure if we’d be getting married if I was pregnant or not.” He paused for a few seconds staring at Tucker who was giving him a new start on love and life. “I don’t want to wait. I knew that I wanted to marry Rebecca and I know that I want to marry you.”

“So, what’s the problem?”

“Nothing.”

“And that’s a problem?” Tucker walked over and stood in front of him. “You can change your mind now, but you need to know once you say 'I do' that’s it. I’m not letting you go.”

“I don’t want you to let me go either.”

“Good, let’s get Zoi and start our life together.” He kissed Lucas quickly then walked out of the bedroom. They still had a lot to work out, but Lucas saw this as his second chance at finding and being loved again, and he wasn’t giving it up.

“Thank you,” Tucker said taking the keys to their hotel room from the receptionist and started walking to the lobby where Lucas and Zoi were waiting for him. They would have stayed at the hotel and casino that Lucas and Tyler owned, but for a few hours, they were trying to keep things away from their family finding out. He knew the Hamiltons had a few reporters in their pockets, which was why their news and lifestyle wasn’t plastered all over the cover of magazines and newspapers.

He was getting married again. He’d been expecting Lucas to call it off. If Tucker was honest with himself, Lucas had a point. He should be nervous or feel a bit apprehensive about everything, but he was calm and seemed more than ready.

“Tucker.” He stopped and turned around when he heard his name being called. He was surprised to see his former sister-in-law, Diane, walking towards him and pulled on the mask he always wore around them once he knew how they felt about him.

“I thought that was you,” she said when she stopped in front of him. He didn’t reach out to hug her, and she didn’t make a move either. He was never close to Rochelle’s family because he wasn’t the man they wanted her with. One, he was the wrong color and much younger than her, and they felt Tucker simply wanted to marry her for the money she would inherit once her parents passed away. After Rochelle died, he’d sent a check to her family for the money he’d received from the life insurance policy they had on each other. He’d cut off all communication with her family after that; he had nothing to say to them then, or now.

“How are you, Diane?”

“I’m great,” she answered staring at him.

He nodded then shoved his hands in his pockets. “Well, it was nice to see you.” He turned to walk away, but she stopped him.

“Wait, that’s all you have to say to me?”

Sighing, he stopped and looked at her. “What the hell do you want me to say?” he snapped.

“We were a family for god’s sake.”

“Were we? You must have mistaken me for someone else because I remember you standing there, not saying a damn word when your parents told me to drop dead after I’d just buried my wife and daughter.”

“They were angry and hurting,” she defended.

“And what about me? Again, I had just buried my wife and child, and I was hurting just as much.”

They were in a staring match and looked away when he heard Lucas’ voice.

“Babe, is everything all right?”

“Yeah,” he said answering honestly, having Lucas beside him seemed to push away the anger he was feeling.

“Babe? What, are you gay? You take it up the ass now, Tucker?” Not lowering her tone, maybe she thought she was embarrassing him. But Tucker was never one to embarrass easily.

“Yeah, I do, but it’s none of your business what I do, Diane.”

“Who the hell are you?” Lucas asked standing in front of him with Zoi in his arms.

“I’m—”

“No one important,” Tucker answered. Lucas turned and looked at him and whatever message he was sending to his lover he got. But it also said "I want to know what the fuck that was all about, later."

“Okay, do you have the keys to our room?” He held up the keys and smirked.

“Ready to get married?”

“Married?” he heard Diane say, but he and Lucas ignored her.

“As ready as I will ever be.”

He handed the keys to Lucas and took Zoi, kissing her on her cheek then wrapping his free arm around his lover. They turned and walked towards the elevator putting space and distance to his past life towards his future.

* * *

“Want to tell me what that was about?” They were on the elevator going to their room, which was going to take forever since Zoi pressed all the buttons she could reach on the bottom.

“That was my former sister-in-law.”

“I take it things weren’t all roses between you two.”

“The entire family actually, they didn’t think I was the right person for Rochelle.”

“Well, I can tell you they were wrong about you, in a way.”

Tucker quirked an eyebrow. “In a way?”

“Yeah, I do remember telling you that you have a bad boy vibe with a 'good guy I can still take home to mom' look going for you,” Lucas said with a smile. “I can bet you corrupted a few women in your younger days.”

“Really?” Tucker stepped into his space. “Have I corrupted you, Lucas?”

“Oh, yes,” he moaned when his lover nipped his earlobe and backed him up against the wall, seeking out Tucker’s lips for more. He couldn’t get enough of the other man. He would have wrapped both of his arms around Tucker, but he had a tight grip on Zoi's hand.

They pulled apart when the elevator doors opened and got off, holding hands the entire time. Again, Lucas wondered why he was okay with things progressing so easily. They were fine with showing public displays of affection and Tucker didn’t seem to back away or down from things. He looked at his lover and soon-to-be husband; he was stronger than maybe he was giving himself credit for. Lucas could easily see himself falling in love with Tucker, again a thought that didn’t scare him.

* * *

“Two years ago, I’d closed my mind and heart off to letting someone else back in. I didn’t expect things would change that. Even with the uncertainties that we are going to face, I give you this ring as my promise to stand beside you through the good and the bad times. I want to face them with you by my side. To be your partner as well as your lover. To be the father of our children now and always.” He slipped the platinum band on Tucker's finger and looked up at him.

Lucas never thought he would ever get married by an Elvis impersonator, but he was, and it was perfect. The words he spoke came from his heart. There weren’t any whispered words of love, but the door was not closed on them falling in love with each other.

“I want to make a promise to you and Zoi.” They looked down at his daughter who was standing between them in her pink and white flowered dress Tucker had bought for her. Oddly behaving as if knowing the seriousness of what was going on. “I promise to be a good husband to you, and a father to our children. I’m not perfect and will make mistakes, but I promise to honor our vows and commitment to each other. To be there when you need me and to walk by your side always.” He slid a matching band onto Lucas’ finger then brought his hand to his lips, kissing the back of it. He kneeled and pulled out a black box from his suit pocket. “I know that you don’t understand anything I’m saying to you, Zoi. But I want to let you know that in a short time you’ve captured my heart and I want to be a parent to you that you can count on. One that will love you, no matter what happens between your dad and me and that I will always be your papa.”

He opened the box. Lucas gasped when Tucker pulled out a silver bracelet with the initials "Z.H.S." For Zoinida Hamilton Stevens and placed it on her wrist then pulled her into his arms. Her tiny arms wrapped around his neck as Tucker stood. Tucker touched his cheek gently, and that was when Lucas realized he was crying. Tucker leaned down and pressed their foreheads together. There was nothing else that needed to be said, they understood what they were doing, and everything would work out fine for them.

“Well,” Elvis said getting their attention, and they turned and looked at him. “If there’s nothing else to say, you may seal your commitment with a kiss.”

Lucas didn’t need to be told twice. He reached up and pressed their lips together, moaning at the first contact; he forgot everyone and everything losing himself in Tucker’s sweet kiss. Pouring emotions into it, that maybe he wasn’t aware of yet. Tiny hands on the back of his head reminded him of where they were, and he pulled back from their kiss. They looked at Zoi, and together they kissed her on either side of her cheeks, making her giggle.

“Congratulations, Mister and Mister . . .”

“Hamilton-Stevens,” they said together then looked at each other at how silly but in sync they were.

Yup, we are going to be fine.

* * *

Lucas landed on his back with Tucker falling on top of him, he wrapped his arms around his husband's neck as they kissed. He rolled Tucker onto his back and leaned back. He unbuttoned his shirt halfway then pulled it over his head throwing it to the floor. Tucker’s hands roamed over his chest pinching his sensitive nipples. He loved feeling Tucker’s hands on him. He reached and instead of unbuttoning his husband’s shirt with delicacy and finesse, he ripped it open not caring where the buttons went.

“Someone is eager.”

“Very,” he said bending down and capturing Tucker’s lips. “I want to be inside you so bad,” he whispered against his lips.

“Then have me, I’m yours now and always.”

After their short, sweet, and simple ceremony and all the papers were signed, making things legal, they’d gone out to dinner then back to their hotel where they got Zoi ready for bed. They finished undressing each other and Lucas couldn’t help but admire Tucker’s body. He’d never found another man sexy, but Tucker definitely caught his attention.

“Are you going to stare at me all night or rock my world?”

“Someone is cheeky tonight,” he commented getting in between Tucker’s legs.

His eyes continued to look all over his lover’s body, memorizing every perfection and flaw. Tucker's cock was hard and leaking as he lightly stroked it swiping his thumb at the angry-looking mushroom head. He licked his lips then leaned forward licking from the base of his shaft feeling the pulsing veins in his tongue before sucking Tucker’s cock into his mouth. He smiled around Tucker’s cock in his mouth when the other man moaned, pivoted his hips, and one of his hands grabbed onto the back of his head. He sucked more of Tucker’s cock into his mouth taking in as much as he could, considering the man’s girth and length.

“Yeah, suck me, baby.” Tucker removed his hand from his cock and grabbed on to the sides of Lucas' head stopping his movement. He moved his hips fucking Lucas’ mouth with his large cock. “Yeah, that’s it,” Tucker said, and his voice sounded deeper and huskier than he’d heard it before.

Lucas moaned as his mouth filled with saliva. As he relaxed his jaw, the more Tucker fucked his face. Tucker’s balls were slapping against his chin with each thrust of his hips. He was surrounded by his lover’s heady and masculine scent, it turned him on so badly he couldn’t wait any longer to be inside of his husband. He ran his hands up and down Tucker’s legs then grabbed the back of his knees, widening them. Pulling his mouth completely off Tucker’s cock, he licked his balls as his lips traveled down his perineum spearing his tongue between his butt cheeks.

Oh fuck, he tastes as good as he smells, fucking intoxicating.

Never being with a man, he found everything about Tucker turned him on as it kept him off-kilter. Hardening his tongue, he pushed the tip inside Tucker's hole, getting his first real taste of his man. That wasn’t enough, and he needed to taste more.

“Roll over,” he ordered and without arguing Tucker followed.

He groaned running his fingers up and down Tucker’s masculine legs up to his ass, grabbing and massaging and separating his meaty globes. Burying his face between Tucker’s butt cheeks, he flattened his tongue licking from his hole to his crevice.

He did it a few times feeling the tension in his lover’s body melt under his touch. Tucker groaned as he reached back and grabbed the back of his head fucking his tongue. He wanted Tucker to be putty in his hands when he finally entered him. He wanted to be as gentle with his husband the way Tucker was with him the first night they were together.

Going to his knees, he wiped his mouth with the back of his hand then reached for the lube and a condom. They weren’t taking any chances until they figured out how Lucas got pregnant and were sure that there was no way that Tucker would never get pregnant when they made love. Having more children wasn’t off the table, but they wanted to wait a couple more years. With the condom on, he squirted lube on his finger, then leaned forward pressing his chest to Tucker’s back and kissing him on his neck. Slowly he pushed one of his fingers inside of Tucker stopping at his first knuckle before continuing.

“So good,” Tucker whispered making Lucas smile.

Tucker’s walls tightened around his finger. “Do you want more?”

“Yes,” Tucker moaned. “Please.”

“I love hearing you beg.”

Tucker turned his head to the side and grabbed the back of his neck, capturing his lips as he added another finger.

“Want more,” Tucker said against his lips. He was about to add another finger, but Tucker stopped him. “Not your fingers, I want your cock in me now.”

Lucas opened his eyes and green eyes connected with his. “But . . .” he started, but Tucker stopped him with another kiss.

“You won’t hurt me,” Tucker told him before kissing him again.

Their lips separated slowly, and as Lucas went to his knees, he grabbed the lube bottle adding some to his cock. Tucker went up on his knees and pushed back separating his butt cheeks giving Lucas a wonderful view of his hole. He jerked his cock a couple of times before resting the head against Tucker’s hole. He wanted to be inside of his husband so badly he felt as if he was shaking with aroused excitement.

He added more lube to his husband’s hole before throwing the bottle to the bed. He felt Tucker’s ass relax a bit and pushed out as he slowly entered him and stopped once he was past the first ring. He grunted and rested his forehead on Tucker’s back, adjusting to the tight heat that surrounded his cock, praying that he didn’t cum too quickly before he got a chance to enjoy the pleasure of fucking his husband.

“Keep going,” Tucker told him.

Tucker reached back resting a hand on Lucas’ hip as he slowly guided his cock inside of Tucker. He stopped when he felt his balls nestled between Tucker’s butt cheeks. He rubbed Tucker’s lower back and waited for his lover to give him the sign that it was okay to move. He was still amazed to be inside of Tucker, feeling him surrounding him, hearing his moans and wanting more and do more.

“Move,” Tucker instructed grinding himself on Lucas’ cock.

Never needing to be told twice, Lucas started fucking his man slowly, pulling every deep moan from Tucker’s lips and giving them both pleasure. They developed a rhythm, Tucker meeting his every thrust. Tucker grunted when he felt Lucas' cock rubbing against his prostate.

“Yes, fuck, do that again,” Tucker begged.

He did as he was asked a few times speeding up his strokes each time. “Like that?” Tucker made a noise as an answer, his nails digging into Lucas’ ass cheeks.

Lucas knew he was close and couldn’t hold on for too long. The noises of their fucking sounded so good to his ears not to mention the tight hold Tucker’s ass had on his cock. He only wished for the day that he could be inside of his lover without a barrier between them. He moaned at the sweet thought, his hips seemed to take on a mind of their own as he grabbed one of Tucker’s hips and placed another hand on his shoulder. He fucked Tucker harder with everything in him, making the man beg for release. Tucker pressed his back to Lucas’ chest, and the hand that was on his shoulder slid down his lover’s hard leaking cock.

Tucker chanted yes repeatedly, and his body shivered as cum spurted from his cock landing on the sheets. He continued to fuck Tucker through his orgasm milking his cock drawing out a sweet moan from his lover. Tucker brought a hand up and cupped the back of his neck, he turned his head, and their lips met in a sloppy but heated kiss. Tucker’s ass squeezed his cock, and his balls tightened. He moaned against Tucker’s lips cumming and filling the condom still wishing there wasn’t anything between them. They continued kissing and holding each other for a bit longer before slowly and carefully pulling his softening cock from inside of Tucker.

Tucker rolled to his back and reached over grabbing some tissues from the nightstand before handing it to Lucas. “I see why you had all the women chasing after you.”

He blushed taking the tissues, pulling off the condom and dropping it in the wastebasket. He lay on top of Tucker kissing him once more. “I’m not concerned with anyone else but you right now.” He couldn’t believe he sounded jealous for the wrong reasons.

“Shouldn’t I be the one to sound jealous?” Tucker asked raising an eyebrow.

“Shut up,” he said kissing him again.

“So bossy,” Tucker said against his lips then chuckled.

“You better believe it,” he said kissing his husband again.
