Inking Eagle (Charon MC Trilogy Book 1) by Khloe Wren (15)

Chapter 14

Eagle

True to my word, I kept Silk on the edge for as long as I could stand the burn. She was sexy as fuck, standing before me with a white knuckle grip on the basin as I worked her body up, then let her cool off just a touch before I drove her up again. She whimpered and writhed, and her skin had flushed all over. I knew I’d never forget how she looked in this moment. Her eyes were a little wild as she held my gaze in the mirror.

“Please, Eagle. I can’t take any more of this.”

Ah, there was the begging I’d been waiting for.

“Hmm, you beg so sweetly, baby. But I need to you to hang on just a little longer. I want us to come together. Can you do that for me, Silk? Hang on just a little longer?”

She moaned and rolled her lower body against mine. “I’ll try.”

Her voice was throaty and had my cock jerking. I tore my shirt over my head and ripped open the fly of my jeans, freeing my rock-hard erection. Slipping a condom from my pocket, I suited up quickly and leaned over her back. Her skin had a light sheen of sweat over it and slid against me in a way that had a groan rising up from my throat and echoing around the small room.

I nipped her ear and kissed down her neck before I put a palm to her back to lower her over further. The jeans around her ankles meant she couldn’t spread her legs far, but she was doing her best to spread herself wide.

“You are the sexiest woman I’ve ever seen, Silk.”

Her response was to whimper and tilt her ass up toward me. With a growl, I pressed my cock between her thighs and thrust in deep.

“Fuck!”

With her legs together she was even tighter. I wasn’t going to last long. I let myself go for several thrusts before I slid a palm up between her breasts and lifted her torso so she stood before me, her back to my chest. Instantly, she wrapped her hands into my hair and I took a firm hold of her hips as I continued to fuck her hard.

“Watch us, Silk. See where I’m going in and out of you. How fucking good that looks? I’m never going to get enough of you, baby.”

My gaze was riveted on the sight of my dark, thick, latex-covered cock entering her pale body on each stroke. My darker skin tone against her lighter one was fucking perfect. A tingle ran down my spine and my balls tightened in preparation. Silk was whimpering, her body strung so tightly I worried she might literally shatter.

“Come, baby. Let it go and take me with you.”

Our eyes met in the mirror and the fear in her gaze had me wincing, but before I could say a thing her body clenched down on me and I couldn’t think anymore. I heard her scream my name, heard my roar echo around us, as stars filled my vision.

When I could breathe again, I blinked my eyes clear and found myself leaning over her, pressing her body down over the sink.

“Fuck! Sorry, baby. I didn’t hurt you did I?”

Her head was on her arm and tears tracked down her cheeks from her closed eyes, but there was a serene smile on her lips that had me hopeful I hadn’t injured her. She didn’t respond to my voice so I carefully pulled free of her body and disposed of the condom. Then I gently lifted her in my arms and strode over to the bed. Keeping her against me with one arm, I used my other hand to tug the covers back before I wrestled her limp body onto the sheets.

I pressed a kiss to her forehead before I removed her shoes and jeans. She still hadn’t woken up. Going back into the bathroom, I wet a cloth with warm water and returned to her. With more care than I’d realized I was capable of, I cleaned her up, then tucked her in.

She looked so sweet, all sex-rumpled, and I wanted nothing more than to curl up next to her, but I needed to go check in with Mac and Taz and let them know about tomorrow. Then I’d come back and wrap myself around my woman.

Back in the bathroom, I gave myself a quick wipe-down before I straightened my jeans. I didn’t worry about adding a shirt. There was no way in hell the whole town hadn’t heard what we’d just done in here.

When I walked into the lounge room it was to low catcalls.

“Oh, shut the fuck up, both of you.”

“Damn, so touchy. Did you not do it right? Sex is meant to chill you out, mate.”

There was a part of me that was scared shitless at how much Silk already meant to me. That sex we’d just had was easily the most powerful I’d ever experienced. And I was no fucking virgin. But I didn’t want to think about that–I was simply going to enjoy the moment and push all that emotional shit right down.

“We’re riding out in the morning. Meeting Scout and Bulldog in town at oh-eight-hundred, then riding down to Galveston. We’re going to collect two boxes. The Iron Hammers and the Charons. Scout wants to hold off on the others until after 9/11.”

Mac leaned back with his arms folded over his chest. “They’re the logical ones to deal with first. Not sure I like the idea of waiting on the others, though. Word will spread that her father had ledgers on organizations he worked for and we’ll end up in a ton of shit if we’re not careful.”

I’d had the same thought as I’d ridden back. “Gotta start somewhere. Once we see what’s in these two boxes, I’ll suggest we don’t waste time getting the others. Even if we don’t do shit with them, at least if we’ll have them here and if the clubs come for them, we can deal with it quickly–”

“And without involving Silk. Once she collects the boxes, she can be out and clear of it all.”

I looked to Taz after he interrupted me. “Damn straight. The other thing Scout said he’ll sort out once 9/11 passes is our top rockers. Looks like we’ve earned our way all the way into the fold, boys.”

Both men grinned broadly before Mac grew serious.

“Speaking of which, I don’t think we should hand over all the ledgers. Taz has copied them all but I vote we only hand over the L.A. mob one for now. I’ve got a bad feeling of what will happen if we just give them everything.”

I nodded. “I was going to suggest the same thing. My instincts are screaming for us to be careful with what we hand over. I know they’re supposed to be the good guys, but we know all too well that nothing is ever that black and white.”

They were all silent for a while. I didn’t doubt they were remembering the same thing I was. One of our final missions was something we never spoke of. I tried to never even think about that place. Our unit had been sent in to capture a few men that had gone rogue, and not for the first time. They’d left their base early one night without leave.

When we tracked the fuckers down to an orphanage, we couldn’t believe what we found–several naked girls and a couple of naked women, all dead and all clearly sexually assaulted. It was a fucked-up mess. We found the missing men in a room at the rear of the building. One man with his pants open and his cock hanging out was lying dead with his throat cut. A sobbing woman huddled in the corner near him. The other three men were engaged in hand-to-hand combat that was vicious and intense enough none of them heard me and my men enter the room. We quickly detained the three of them. The two shirtless ones smelled of sex, and the way their eyes flicked around, I’d been certain they were high on something. The other man was in full combat gear, everything where it should be. He stilled the moment he saw us, dropped to his knees and put his hands on his head. He’d claimed he heard the other three men talk of their plan the night before, and when he noticed them gone earlier, he’d headed off to try to stop them. Tears filled the man’s eyes. He’d been too late.

We’d been ordered to bring the men in to be dealt with. While the two who decided raping and murdering innocent women and children was a good idea deserved everything they got and more, it fucking flat-out sucked that the one that was trying to save the innocents most likely ended up with a dishonorable discharge and had maybe even been charged with murder. None of us had heard what had happened to any of the men once we handed them over to their commanding officer.

“I won’t bring down someone for doing the right thing again. No fucking way.”

“Amen, brother. Fucking amen to that.”

Taz and Mac responded at the same time. Yeah, none of them had liked what they’d had to do that day. The Charons fit the three of us perfectly, for reasons the club would never know.

Silk

I woke to the sensation of fingers trailing over my skin.

“Hmmm.”

I arched up to get more contact and Eagle pressed his palm against my tummy with a laugh.

“Such a greedy girl. Unfortunately we don’t have time for me to take advantage. We have forty minutes before we need to be in town.”

My breath hitched as my eyes flew open.

“What?”

Eagle was lying next to me, freshly showered and fully dressed already.

“You distracted me when I got back yesterday, I didn’t get a chance to tell you what our new plans are. Scout and your uncle are joining the four of us for a ride down to Galveston to get the Iron Hammers’ and Charons’ boxes from the bank down there. We need to meet them in town at oh-eight-hundred.”

My heart ached. “I can’t believe my dad collected shit on his brother’s club. What kind of person does that?”

“A desperate, jealous one. C’mon, go grab a shower and I’ll make you some breakfast. I brought in your bags last night.” He nodded toward the dresser and I glanced to see my two bags sitting there neatly. “We don’t have that long, so quit tempting me with this sexy as fuck body of yours, and go shower.”

With a chuckle, I rolled out of bed and stretched. Then laughed when he growled at me.

“I’m going, I’m going.”

I went over to dig through my bag for an outfit before heading to the still-steamy bathroom. I inhaled deeply when I entered. It smelled like Eagle, my new favorite scent. It was leather and pine, and all male goodness.

Twenty minutes later I walked into the kitchen dressed in my bike gear with my hair in a braid down my back. I slung my jacket over the back of the chair and sat down as Eagle brought over a bowl, along with a mug of coffee.

“Here you go, baby. Make it quick, we need to get moving.”

He pressed a kiss to my temple before he moved away to grab a mug from the counter for himself as my heart did a stupid fluttering thing. I dove into eating my cereal and kept my gaze down. I wasn’t sure how the fuck we were going to go hands-off when we went back to Bridgewater. Nor was I sure how the fuck I’d become so addicted to him in such a short amount of time. Did he feel the same way?

I hoped Scout would give the three of them their patches soon. Then I’d know for sure how Eagle felt. No way would he try anything in front of the club if he didn’t want me for his old lady once he had his top rocker. Daughters of the Club were protected, and even patched in members couldn’t go sniffing around us if they weren’t fucking serious about making us theirs for the long haul.

When I took my dishes to the sink, Eagle snagged my arm.

“You okay? You look worried.”

I shrugged. “Just thinking about everything. I’m fine, really.”

He frowned at me a moment before nodding. “Right. Well, let’s get moving. I don’t want to keep the Pres and VP waiting.”

That made me smile a little. “Yeah, patience has never been a virtue either Scout or my uncle have ever been known for.”

I followed Eagle out and down to the bikes.

“Shit. I don’t have mine.”

Eagle smirked as he handed me a helmet. “Guess you’ll have to sit behind me again. Such a pity.”

Feeling cheeky, I returned his smirk. “I don’t know. Taz’s bike sure does look comfy.”

Taz barked out a laugh when Eagle growled. “Sure is, Silky-girl. You just slip on over here and I’ll show just how smooth it is.”

“Like fucking hell you will. Get on my bike, Silk.”

I laughed loudly before wrapping my arms around his waist. “You’re too easy to rile up, Eagle. Of course I’m riding with you.”

He leaned down and kissed me hard and fast before he slapped me on the butt.

“Get moving, before I decide to do something that will make us all extremely fucking late.”

Heat burst through my face at the thought of him bending me over his bike to spank and fuck me. I cleared my throat as I put my helmet on and climbed on the back of Eagle’s ride. Normally, I preferred to ride by myself on my own bike, but the only way I was going to be able to touch Eagle while Scout and my uncle were around was going to be like this. And I had a feeling I’d need the calming effect his presence had on me today.

Once he was in front of me, I shifted so I was pressed against his back. I wrapped my arms around his waist as he took off, with Taz behind and Mac in front of us. All three of these men were so damn protective. I knew without a doubt Scout would give them their top rockers soon. They were a perfect fit for the club.

It was only a short ten-minute ride from the cabin to get to the local town and I appreciated being able to enjoy the scenery, and the wind in my face, rather than having to focus on the road and riding. It was a nice change. Although, I did miss not being in control of the beast I was sitting on and couldn’t wait to ride my own baby again. I guessed it would be after 9/11 now before I got the chance for that. No way was I returning to Bridgewater before then. Especially now that everyone knew about my connection with the attacks. They’d all look at me with pity or try to talk to me about it, when all I wanted to do was forget the fucking day ever happened.
