Love Magic (Bad Valentine Book 1) by Jesi Lea Ryan (6)

Chapter 6

Our damp clothes trailed down the hallway we as half-walked/half-made-out to my bedroom. The sheets yanked back, without being touched, just in time for us to fall onto the mattress in a tangle of limbs. Derrick’s kisses were exactly as I imagined — warm, tender, and hungry. His weight on my body felt like coming home after a hard day.

The lamp on my nightstand toppled, but caught in mid-air and landed gently on the carpet.

I rolled us over and straddled him, leaning down to explore his body with my mouth. The hollow at the base of his throat, the smooth skin along his collar bone, the taut brown nipples surrounded by soft hair. When I took one of those nipples into my mouth, Derrick made a strangled noise and clutched the sheets tightly in his fists.

“Relax,” I said, running my hand over his ribs. “Nothing to be nervous about. I want you, and you want me.” I wrapped my hand around his hot erection. “Things might be bumpy this first time, but it’ll get better with practice. And I’m up for lots of practice.”

The drawer on my nightstand flew open. A bottle of lube and a string of condoms shot at my face. I caught the lube, but the condoms whapped me in the face and fell to the bed.

“My, my, aren’t you eager?”

“Sorry!”

“Don’t be.”

I readied us both, while Derrick clenched his eyes closed and fisted his hands, seemingly in a mental battle with himself to keep under control. Even giving it his best shot, the curtains furled, and the bed trembled. I worried a bit for my headboard, but once I sunk myself down onto his cock, my eyes fluttered closed and all thoughts beyond Derrick scurried from my mind.

Our lovemaking was a delicious combination of frantic and tender at the same time. I rode him hard, while he sat up to lick and bite my neck. His strong hands clutched my ass cheeks hard enough that he was sure to leave bruises, and I didn’t care. I wanted his marks left on my body. I wanted to remember this every time I sat down for days.

I felt something wiz past my ear, and I opened my eyes to see random objects from my room twirling around us in a dance. My computer mouse, a sock, a framed picture of my parents and me in Las Vegas. The new bow for my violin floated by, and I snatched it out of the air.

“Not this. It cost me almost a grand.”

Derrick made a grunting noise and set the bow down softly on my desk.

Lost in the spectacle of this wonderous man, my orgasm came on suddenly. His followed with a loud moan. Spent, he relaxed against me, and all of the suspended objects fell around us.

Derrick laughed and looked me in the eyes. “That was amazing!”

I kissed him deeply once more before pulling off him and curling into his side to hold him close. He stroked my back, drew the sheets over us with his mind, tucking the edges around us like a cocoon.

“You know, I could get used to this,” I said, all happy and sated. The swelling in my heart was at once thrilling and terrifying. I was falling for this man. This kind, talented, bear of a man. And the best thing was, I suspected he was falling for me, too.

“I hoped you would say that.” He placed a kiss on the top of my head. “You did promise me more practice.”

I chuckled. “A lot more practice. Is it going to be like this all of the time? The floating things, I mean?”

“I don’t know. I’ve never really done this before.”

I gave him a skeptical look. “You were not a virgin.”

He grinned. “No, not by a long shot. But I’ve never had sex with someone that I truly cared this much about either. And Oliver, I do care about you. I know its early yet, but from the moment I saw you playing your violin in the park, you’re all I think about. It’s like you are the magic one, and you cast a spell on me.”

My heart melted, and I squeezed him tight. “I care about you, too.”

Of course, because I had to ruin a tender moment, my belly gave off a loud growl.

“Some date I am,” Derrick said. “I didn’t even feed you before I had my way with you. I’m a bad Valentine.”

“True. But you’re my bad Valentine.”
