No Good (Good Intentions Book 1) by Kayla Carson (16)

Chapter 16

I wanted to forget about everything going on with Cole. I also wanted to forget about Jake. At least for a little while. Zoe had given me a chance even after I'd royally fucked up, and I needed to make it up to her. I planned our whole day, and she had no idea. She slept soundly, as I packed what we'd need in the saddle bags of my bike. All that was left to do now, was wake her.

I slipped quietly into bed beside her, kissing her soft lips. She stirred, a small smile forming where my lips had just left. “Good morning.” She sighed, snuggling against me, her bare leg rubbing over my board shorts. “Why are you dressed?” She asked, with a hint of laughter.

“Because. I'm taking you somewhere.” I said, kissing the tip of her nose. “Let's go.”

“Where are we going?” She asked excitedly, sitting up in bed.

I laughed, her enthusiasm spreading through me like lightning. “It's a surprise. Just don't wear a dress Babydoll, we're taking my bike.”

And with that, I made my way down stairs. After a quick shower Zoe joined me, dressed in a pair of cut off jeans and a white tank top. She wore ankle boots, with a heel, and her hair pulled back into a pony tail. I was just zipping up the saddle bags, when she grabbed for the extra helmet I kept for her. “Can I drive?” She half teased. She'd been begging me to drive my bike since I'd given her a ride home on it.

Truth be told, she made me nervous. I'd seen the way she handled her car, and if it was any indication, she'd be hell on wheels behind a bike. Not to say that it wouldn't be sexy as hell, but I'd let her keep thinking it wasn't going to happen. At least for a little while.

I strapped my own helmet on, and when I felt her arms wrap tightly around my waist I smiled. Her body pressed against mine in any compacity, was enough to do that. I started the engine, and the bike roared to life. Zoe's grasp instinctively got tighter, as I put the bike into gear and pulled from the driveway.

It was early, so the air was still cool, the humidity not yet taking over the day. The wind against my face as we drove down the high way towards our destination was welcome. After the first half hour, Zoe rested her head on my back, her hands occasionally brushing across my chest. She was comfortable, and safe, and knowing that I made her feel that way, made me feel important. It was something I never felt from another human being before, and I never knew how much I needed it until her.

When we finally arrived, it was a little after eleven AM, and my stomach grumbled loudly. We hadn't had breakfast, but I knew we'd find something here. When Zoe removed her helmet, and climbed off the back of the bike, I watched as her eyes lit up. She took in her surroundings, her smile growing as wide as a child's on their birthday. “I haven't been to a carnival since I was a kid!” She said, placing the helmet down on the seat.

After locking up, and placing my helmet beside hers I reached for her hand. “Ready?”

“I can't believe you drove all this way just to take me to a carnival.” She said, coming towards me and standing up on her toes to give me a kiss.

“You deserve it.” I said, kissing her back. “Now come on, let's get on some rides.”

She laughed, as I half drug her towards the entrance. I bought us both wrist bands, wanting to enjoy the entire day, just the two of us, with no worries. We got lunch first, spending a small fortune from a food truck named Pablo's Tacos. They had the best butterfly nachos, and we both agreed to go back for seconds before we left.

We went on every ride in the place, saving the ferris wheel, Zoe's favorite for last. I wasn't a fan of heights, but for her, I'd gladly climb a thousand foot ladder. I put on a brave face, and sat beside her in the rocking car. We'd gone around without any problems for a while, until suddenly we stopped. Our car was at the very top, and I assumed the ride was over, and people below us were getting off. Oh, how I was wrong.

“We're having a mechanical issue folks!” The man running the ride yelled loud enough for everyone to hear him. “Just bare with us, and we'll get ya down in no time!”

“You alright?” Zoe asked, checking my panicked expression.

“Ive jumped out of planes before Babydoll. I'm just fine.” I said, in attempt to assure her, but like always she seen right through me.

“Look at me.” She said, placing her hand on the side of my face.

I did as she asked, and before I knew what she was planning, she brought her lips to mine. It wasn't just a small peck on the lips, it was a full on makeout session, right there on the tip top of the ferris wheel. I could feel myself start to grow hard for her, and tried to will it away. It was useless. I couldn't kiss this woman, and not get turned on. She brought out every emotion inside of me without even trying.

My hands went to her waist, and in one fluid motion, she was straddling my lap. My erection rubbed against her heat, and she moaned in my mouth. “You happy to see me?” She purred, moving her hips in a slow deliberate circle. I could feel the car rocking with her, but I was too focused on her actions to care about falling to my death. She was trying to distract me with sex, and it was working.

“Best carnival ever.” I said against her lips, gripping her ass in my hands, and enticing a giggle from her.

“Wanna make it even better?” She asked bringing her hand from my chest, and dipping it down in between us.

“Here?” I asked, looking around to see if anyone could see us.

“Why not?” She asked, popping the button on my shorts. “We may be stuck up here for a long time.”

“Or we could start descending at any minute.” I pointed out, trying to be the one with a clear, and level head.

“It's your call Soldier.” She said, biting her bottom lip in a way she knew would drive me crazy.

Using one hand, I held the small of her back to keep her steady, and with the other, I shoved her shorts and panties aside. With a quick adjustment, she slipped right onto my waiting cock, and the smile that lit her eyes was all the fuel I needed. Her arms wrapped around my neck, and she rocked her body against mine. It was slow, torturously, but we were careful not to rock the car too much and cause suspicion. I knew Zoe was carefree, but I never imagined doing anything like this with her.

It was a different kind of love making. Slow, and purposeful, quiet, and gentle. It was more than enough to distract me from where we really were, especially when her voice hitched, and I could hear the change in her breaths as she became closer, and closer to the edge. The sound of her ready to come undone alone, had me ready to fall apart right there with her. With a few final thrusts, she was riding her orgasm out in soundless moans, that I sucked into my mouth, in an attempt to mask my own.

The ride jolted, and we quickly pulled apart, righting our clothing, as one by one the cars below us began to empty. Zoe tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear nervously. “That was crazy.” She whispered, her cheeks still flush from the excitement.

“You're crazy.” I whispered back, before pulling her against me for a kiss.

“Rides over.” The operator said clearing his throat, before opening the door on our car.

“Thank you.” Zoe said, as we exited.

I gave the man a curt nod, and I could have sworn he winked at me. I mentioned it to Zoe, but she said I was just seeing things. We spent the next two hours playing rigged carnival games, and Zoe kicked my ass at the dart games. But when it came to the shooting games, that's where I cleaned house. I won her the largest teddy bear in the place, only to realize there was no way we were getting it home when we got back to the bike.

Instead of being disappointed by having to leave her bear behind, she was grateful. “This was one of the best days I've had in a really long time Wes.” She said, strapping on her helmet.

“Me too.” I smiled, doing the same.
