Rai (Weredragons Of Tuviso) (A Sci Fi Alien Weredragon Romance) by Maia Starr (138)

"There," Zian said as he maneuvered the ship along the outside of the battle over capital city.

"What? What is it?" I asked as I looked in the direction that he was looking.

"Yes of course. That is the ship I would be in if I were leading the battle," he said as he steered our ship in the opposite direction.

"Wait, where are you going? Aren’t you going after him?" I asked him, confused that he was not.

"I don't care. War is dangerous. Letting him live is more dangerous than going after him. He cannot be in charge of the Corillion. You know that, and I know that," I replied.

"Yes, I do know that. But let me go after him on my own time. I am skilled, but I will not take you with me!" he said.

"By then it will be too late. You have the shot now, take it. Do it for me!" I demanded of him.

He looked at me for a few seconds. Then he made a hard right. He was heading for Yiri.

In seconds, we were engaged in battle once again. But Yiri's ship was just on the outside of the battle, as though watching over it. Zian flew straight for him. He went around the backside and I was impressed by his tactic. He really knew what he was doing.

A few seem to hit the ship but then ship went into action. It flew hard and fast, twisting and dodging as we chased after it. Zian continued to fire on it using guns. Then a puff of black smoke appeared and the ship went hurtling down to the ground. It crashed, but it did not break apart. Zian looked at me. He was asking me what I wanted him to do.

He flew the ship straight down amongst the chaos of the battle. I could see the Earth army to my right and the Corillion army to my left. Both were on foot and were headed toward each other. Yiri's ship was in the middle of what would be become the battle ground.

"Look at me," Zian said to me. I looked at him and he had his hand on a joystick.

"This lever, this is how you work the ship. Pull it back to go up. Got it?" he said as he began to land the ship near the wreckage of the other.

"Why are you telling me that? I am not going anywhere without you," I said to him.

"You are staying here inside the ship. I am just going to go check it out. I'm going to go make sure that Yiri is no more. "

"No, you are not. Stay here," he said as the ship landed and he unbuckled his belt. He grabbed a blaster gun off the wall and opened the door. I knew that he would not let me go so instead I planned to wait just a few seconds before I following. He stood in the doorway and turned back to me. "Lily, I love you. I love you so hard and it happened so fast that I can't believe it. I can't wrap my head around it. Just know that I love you!" Then he was gone. He vanished into a cloud of black smoke from the wreckage, just as he had appeared the first time that I saw him. I unbuckled my belt and stood up, staring out the windshield. I watched as he ran toward the wreckage and went inside. It felt like he was in there forever. I couldn't stand it anymore. I could see the two armies were moving closer. I knew that in a few minutes they would be engaging in a massive battle and we would be right in the middle of it. I grabbed a blaster gun off the wall and followed him. I entered the wreckage. Zian had a gun pointed at Yiri, who was on the ground bleeding.

"Why? Why did you do it? Do you know what you have done?" Zian said angrily.

"I told you why. Because you would not. You met that human and you became soft. Someone had to pick up where you left off," Yiri said.

"No, not like this. This was never part of the plan. It was only to be a last resort. We were going to use the water contamination as leverage to create a system that both the Corillion and the humans could live with. That was phase 2 of the plan. The invasion was only a last resort to that plan, and mostly just to protect ourselves so that we could leave the solar system. You took it into your own hands and made it something more sinister," Zian said.

"No, I took it into my own hands and made it something more successful. Look around you. We are at war! This is not just a battle here and there, but war all over Earth, and we are going to win. I did this. I am the one that will get the glory for it," Yiri exclaimed.

"You can’t get the glory if you are dead,” I proclaimed, shooting off a few rounds as I stepped beside Zian. Yuri, fell, dead. I had shot him.

"I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me. I didn't mean to do that. It just happened," I said, shocked at my own behavior. I had never shot anyone before. Just then, we began to hear the voices of men and Corillion shouting.

"We got to get out of here," Zian said as he grabbed my arm and pulled me out of the wrecked ship. I was walking as though I was floating outside of myself. I could not believe what I had just done. I didn't recognize myself. This was what war did to people. I stopped walking.

"I've imagined myself killing a Corillion countless times. After my father was killed in battle with the Corillion, all that I ever wanted was to get revenge. But now it doesn't feel good at all. All of this useless and senseless violence," I said to him even though I was just thinking out loud, and not really directing my words to him.

"Stop Lily. As you said before he could not live. He will only cause more pain and chaos. Yiri was not right in the mind. You did the right thing. I was on the verge of doing it myself. But right now, we have to get out of here. The two armies are marching toward us and we will never be able to leave. We will die if we stay here!"  He yanked on my arm and pulled me to the ship. Once inside I strapped in and stared out the windshield at the massive armies converging.

"Yes, we will. We just have to move faster than they can respond to us," he said.

"We're going to go full throttle as soon as I start the engines. Go from a parked position,” he said.

"But..." but before I could finish my sentence Zian hit the throttle and we jolted straight into the sky. It was very fast and I almost thought I was going to black out. Zian was concentrating hard and his knuckles were turning white as he maneuvered and flew the ship toward the coordinates.

"That was amazing," I said to him, impressed with his skill yet again. There was a reason that he was the leader of the Corillion. He was a brilliant specimen of an alien and I doubted that there were any other like him.

He laughed and I looked out the window. I could not see any battle at all. We were flying over farmlands. keeping a fair distance from anything else in the sky.

"We should set her down, as there is a lot of air-traffic showing up on the radar," he said.

"I don't know. But it's best if we land and go off-line so that they cannot track us"

"That will do," he said as he flew into the open barn doors. It was empty. The farmhouse was dilapidated and abandoned. It was the perfect cover.

"Going off-line," he said as he turned off every single switch in the ship. It grew very dark with all the lights off.

"We wait. We wait a couple of hours until that air traffic has cleared up. With everything in the ship off I won't be able to know when that happens. So, I will just check every few hours. It is better not to risk it."

"Well with all the things that are happening in the world, I think there is only one thing that we can do," he said with a smile.

I unbuckled my seatbelt and walked over to him. I sat in his lap and he passed his mouth on top of mine. His hands went to my chest and his fingers pressed at my nipples. I was turned on instantly. It was the adrenaline and uncertainty of the world ending. It had my heart rate pumping and the sensation was making me very aroused. Not to mention the fact that there was a very sexy Corillion underneath me.

I pushed my hand into his trousers and rooted around his large cock. "It seems like you have already been ready for a while," I said him. He smiled and said, "Flying does that to me."

We both laughed at his remark. I pulled his cock out of his trousers and looked at it. Then I moved my hand up and down slowly at first, and then faster and faster until he was breathing harder and harder.

"I cannot take it anymore. I need to have you," he said standing up and picking me up off my feet. I wrapped my legs around him and he carried me to the console and sent me on top of it. He grabbed the waistband of my pants and pull them off of me. Then he quickly and voraciously entered me. We both groaned and moaned in delight. It felt good. It had been too long. The first time was not enough, and I did not get my fill of him. I wanted more and more every second. Now he was inside of me again and I felt relieved by it. I had become addicted to him and I was now getting my fix. He moved in and out of me, rocking his hips back-and-forth as he wrapped his arms around my back. I pressed my face against his hard, blue scales, the scales that forever reminded me that he was an alien. I could not hold on any longer and I felt the pulsing growing faster and more intense inside of me. "I'm going to release!" I shouted.

"Good, I want you to. Do it my love," he whispered as he continued to pump harder and slam against me. Then I released and I felt my entire body going numb as the sensation shot through me. I collapsed against his chest as he continued to move in and out of me. He put his hands underneath my bottom and cupped me, pulling me closer to him as he carried me. I put my arms around his neck and he kissed me. His tongue explored my mouth. Seconds later he tensed, his entire muscles on his back and arms tightening up and his breathing growing harder as he began to growl. Then he came inside of me. He groaned and twisted his hips. We were both enjoying what could be our very last orgasm on Earth and in life. It was an intense feeling to have.

Zian continued checking the radar over and over until it finally was clear, a couple of hours later. By this time night time Zian and I wondered how much of the cities of Earth had been destroyed.

"Cover of darkness is best. We should get going," he said as we took our seats in the ship and he prepared for lift off.

After an hour of flying, the blue waters of Lake Michigan came into view. "There! Do you see that patch of land, that island?" I said to him.

"I see it. There is a lighthouse on the other side. That is where we always spoke of that we would run away to if we ever had to run. We promised to always meet each other there but to never tell anyone. We have only seen it in pictures and have never actually been," I said to him.

"Exactly. But she knows to go there, and so do I. I only hope that she listened when I told her too. There is nothing left of her building in capital city. If she stayed, then she did not survive. In fact, I'm not sure that anyone in the city did,” I said.

"I'm going to land on that patch of grass over there. Then we will have to hide the ship. I would want to sink it into the lake, but we might need it. So, hiding it is a better choice," he said.

We searched the island by flashlight, and finally, I came upon a familiar sight. It was a mailbox with the initials A.R. on it. I ran up to the door and knocked.

"Who's there? "My sister's voice said through the door, and I nearly broke down and cried in a pile on the porch.

"Lily! "She shouted as she fumbled to get the door open. Then she flew into my arms, and we cried together.

"I thought I never would either. I am so glad that you are alive. I am so glad that you are OK."

"I thought you might come here since we talked about it so much when we were little, and we would look at the photos in the book of this place. We always talked about coming here one day. "

"I am so glad you remembered. I am so scared. I don't know what's going on out there. Lily, it is like the end of the world."

"Yes, I know it is worse than you can imagine. The capital city is gone," I said to her.

"Yes, there is a lot to talk about. But don't be scared. We are here now, and we are going to look after you, "I sent to her.

"I know. But he is different. He helped me escape. He flew me here in his ship. He can be trusted," I said to her.

"If you say so, sister. I am just glad that you are here. Come, come inside before someone sees you," she said to both of us. We entered the small house and locked the doors behind us. We didn't know what to expect, and we were not prepared. But one thing was certain, I now had everyone that I loved in my life, my sister and Zian.

The battle that day was unlike anything I had ever seen. We lost almost every major city and millions of human and Corillion lives. It was a battle that wiped out resources for both humans and the Corillion. It left both sides crippled. It was a dumb battle in the end. It seemed like neither side won. There was no clear victor as each had fought equally and had defeated each other. It was almost like a tie. That did not do anyone any good. At least with a clear winner, there would be someone in charge. But instead, there was just complete chaos because no one had won. Now everything was in complete ruins, and we had to start from the ground up again. It was time to rebuild, and Zian and I had to keep our promise to be the ones to do it. We had survived for this.

"Do you want me to take him inside?” Adelaine asked me, as she held her hand out to my son, Earthane Crace.

"Yes please, this is going to take a while. Go with your aunt,” I said to him as I gave him a kiss. Earthane was born nine months after the battle, and he brought us great joy. It was terrifying to be pregnant in a postwar world, but our hybrid son was the future of the planet, and we were going to do whatever we could to make sure that it would be a good place for him.

“How far along are you on that project?” Zian asked, as I looked over the blueprints of a new registration system. It was the same bridal registration system that I had negotiated with him.

“I think I am half way there. Of course, once it is actually put into action I will know more about what needs to be done. Right now it is just a framework, but I think it will be a good one.”

We were sitting on the porch of the small house that we all shared: my son; my sister; and my husband, Zian Crace. We were still on the island in the middle of Lake Michigan, one of the few areas spared by the battle, mostly because the Corillion did not know that it existed. We were fortunate to have local food sources consisting of fruit trees and fish. But the rest of planet, and especially the cities, were not so lucky. Most had relocated from the city and began the simple life of farming.

"Yes, a hundred times already. I have told you over and over again that you do not need to do this,” I sent to him.

"But I do. It is all my fault. All of this. I am the one that set the plan in motion. I am the only one to blame for all of this,” he said to me. He had been taking the blame, and taking it hard ever since the battle.

"I will tell you what I have told you before. I am glad that it was you. A war like the one we had with the Corillion was going to lead to that massive battle one day. It was going to be someone else if it wasn't you. But I'm glad it was you because you changed, you've allowed yourself to change. If it had been anyone else, it would have been much worse. We would've never had the data on the formula to the solution that contaminated the water, and so we wouldn't have been able to come up with a cure to the water contamination. You are the one that gave that to me. No other Corillion would have done so. It was you for a reason. Even though it is a heavy burden to carry now, you were chosen."

"With all my heart, because I could not love you if it weren't true,” I said to him. And it was true. Ever since that day we had never separated. He was right all along. We would need each other after all that we had been through. Now, the Earth needed the both of us. We were rebuilding, and we were rebuilding in a world where the Corillion and the humans had to coexist on one planet.

"There is no other Corillion that I would want by my side other than you. You have given me our son and saved me. You have saved me more than once. If you had not abducted me when you did, I would have died days later in the capital city at the embassy, since it was the first building to be bombed. That's where I would've been. I wouldn't be alive except for you. I wouldn't be here to help rebuild and to create the system that we need to be able to coexist. My sister wouldn't be alive if you did not have the heart to allow me to call her that day to tell her to get out of the city. You did that for me, and you did not have to.”

"I guess that is why we are good together. We balance each other out,” Zian said as he pulled me onto his lap. I gave him a kiss.

"That is very true,” he said as he kissed me again. I was in love with him. I loved him more than I could ever imagine and it blew my mind that the ruler of the alien race that I had hated had become everything in my life. It was now centered around him and my son. I never ever thought I would be a Corillion wife, but it had to happen. Our union created a jumping off point for Earth and the Corillions to begin peace talks. It was a very important union, and I was glad that so much good could come out of our love and marriage.

Over the past year, we had come up with many new plans, new plans that allowed both of our peoples to flourish. Only we would have been able to produce the results we had, because of who we were and our experience from both sides, Earth and the Corillion. It had taken us to create a new system, and it took all of our energy. But it was worth it; it was worth all our work so that our son could grow up in a place where he was accepted. Through our marriage came peace. Through our minds came a new system. And through our hearts came a new love. We were happy, even though we were living in a dystopian version of the Earth that I used to know. I was happy to have Zian at my side with my family. It was a new beginning. It was a new everything.
