Teach Me Daddy: A Mountain Man’s Secret Baby Romance by Hart, Rye (38)

BEST SELLER: TWO WEEKS OF SIN

CHAPTER ONE - CHANCE

Being a creature of habit had its perks as much as being a billionaire. I stared down at the random woman, whose face was masked, and thrust my cock into the only opening, which gave me access to her mouth. I was sure the fabric allowed for some breathing because otherwise, she’d be freaking out, but I wasn’t letting up. Because of my money and the power it gave me, I was able to arrange my sex any way I wanted it.

When I was in New York, where I lived part time and worked, owning one of the largest brewing companies in the world, it was necessary to keep my sexual escapades anonymous, so that I didn’t have to deal with anyone trying to come after me with a bogus claim of abuse or worse, a phony paternity suit. Using a third party to set up my random requests had become a way of life, and I loved the freedom of being able to do whatever I wanted to the women who arrived at my private penthouse masked and ready for the taking.

And while this was a necessary evil, something to get me off until I was able to return home, it wasn’t what some might call my passion, though it was damned close.

My cock grazed across her teeth as she wiggled her jaw, losing stamina. I held her chin, keeping her opened wide as my phone rang. “Fuck all.” I looked at the phone’s screen and saw my best friend, Nate’s number. I tossed it to the bed as the woman slurped and sucked. She was worn out and, lucky for her I was ready to come. I tried to pull out but that’s when she decided to suck harder, and I shot a little into her mouth. She let loose fast, swallowing what I’d given her, and I pulled out, placing my cock on her cheek as my cum spurted across the mask, leaving a pearly trail that dripped down around her features. I pulled away, not speaking to her as she stayed on her knees. She wasn’t allowed to move unless I said so.

I grabbed my phone and sat back on the bed, raking my hands through my hair, the smell of sex permeating the room as I dialed Nate back. Then I took mercy on the girl and fetched her a towel. I was in the bathroom when my friend answered.

“What the fuck, man? Are you canceling the trip?” Nate had a way of being dramatic, but in this case, he had every right to be.

“Fuck!” I said, throwing the towel at the woman, who was ready to collapse. “I forgot all about it. I’m on my way.” I ended the call, gathered my clothes, and looked down to the girl. “You can get up when I’m gone. I’ll call again soon.”

She was one of three women throughout the city who I used regularly. Each knew the routine and would be available at a moment’s notice, whether I wanted one or all three. They always showed up masked, and let me use them to my cock’s content, without ever knowing who I was. If they performed as they were supposed to, I’d pay them for their time. So, she stayed there on her knees until I was long gone.

I couldn’t believe I’d forgotten my flight. I rushed down to my car, which was always waiting, and got inside, telling my driver to take me to the airport. I wasn’t going to get to clean up and was thankful that things hadn’t gotten too messy for me because I had a long trip ahead.

I arrived at the airport and found Nate waiting on the tarmac with the pilot who looked even angrier than he did.

“I’m sorry, Lou. I got tied up with business.”

Lou Cravens was one of the best private pilots in the city, and his time was as precious as mine. I liked to know my life was in good hands, so hiring Lou for all my travels was a must, but I wasn’t the only person he worked for.

“Let’s get this show on the road.” He shook his head and clapped me on the back as Nate and I boarded ahead of him. He secured the plane, and before I knew it, we took off.

Nate was pouting, and it grated my nerves when he acted that way.

“I’m sorry I was late. I was finishing up some business,” I repeated.

He huffed a short laugh. “Tits, facial, or cream pie?” I gave him a warning glare, and he shrugged. “You said you were finishing; I just wanted to know how.”

I looked away, glancing out the window beside me. I loved to fly, and I particularly loved flying over this part of the country.

“Why Nebraska? And who’s ever heard of Viola, anyway?” he asked.

“It’s a small town, but it’s growing, and there’s money. Lots of people in the surrounding areas need the jobs. I think it’s a perfect fit.”

“If it’s so perfect then why another trip? Why not just phone it in. You’ve seen the facility, right?”

“Yes, but now I want to check out the surrounding property. The building that’s there isn’t going to do. I will have to build.”

“So, build somewhere fun. Or fuck it, let’s go somewhere when we’re done. How about Vegas? Just for a night?”

Nate was the last person I’d go to Vega with ever again. He’d made a disaster out of our last trip and nearly landed me in jail.

“Are you out of your mind? Do you think I’ve forgotten the twin’s incident?” He’d harassed a pair of twin dancers who then proceeded to call the cops because she wouldn’t give him change for a twenty.

“That was Vegas?” He narrowed his eyes and then shrugged. “Whatever, let’s do something. It’s been a long time since you and I have gotten any time away together other than business trips.” He was worse than a girlfriend with his you never take me anywhere nice spiel. And that was just one of many reasons I didn’t do relationships. At least, not normal ones.

“I have a meeting day after tomorrow. We’ll have to head back to New York as soon as we’re done in Viola.”

“Is it about another one of your trips home?” He gave me an accusatory glare, and I shook my head.

“Not yet. I haven’t found the right candidate. You know I’m picky.” He knew that things had to be perfect for me to go back home. And not just my preferences, but legalities, paperwork. It was all part of my hobby, and one that I was passionate about.

I made other arrangements when I went back home. I would find a preferred candidate and offer them a hundred grand to stay two weeks in my castle, completely private and anonymous. All I would know was their first name, and vice versa, just how I liked it. The privacy of the castle, as well as the one-on-one time, provided more intimacy than random sex with masked women could, and I’d become rather fond of seeing how I could break the chosen.

“You’re not that picky. You’re choosing fucking Snoozeville, Nebraska, as your next distribution site.”

“One more crack like that and I’ll send you out to run the place.”

He sank in his seat and glared over at me. “You wouldn’t do that to your best friend. Besides, who would hold down the fort while you run off for one of your sex romps?” He had a point. Sadly, he was my right hand, and the only person I trusted with the company.

Teasing him was always fun though, so I gave him a stone-faced glare. “Probably someone who doesn’t act like a pussy.”

He was quiet the rest of the trip.

After we landed and boarded the next car, which was waiting just outside Viola, my stomach growled. I’d cleaned up a bit on the plane, but aside from pistachios, there was nothing to eat on board.

“I’m fucking starving,” said Nate as if he read my mind.

“I was just thinking the same thing, friend. How about I buy you some dinner?” I patted him on the shoulder and earned a narrowed look.

“Hey, you’re the one with the billions, of course, I’ll let you buy dinner.”

He was always kidding me about my money, and he was the only person who could get away with it. His own nest egg was nothing to sneeze at, and he was wealthy enough that he didn’t have to put up with me. He did that because he wanted to.

I glanced up about that time to see a quaint little diner. The place was fifties retro, and I was drawn to the neon out front that read “Angel.” I took it as an omen, and a closer look revealed the “o’s” was burnt out on the Angelo’s Diner sign. I leaned up and instructed my driver to pull over.

If there was an angel inside, she was about to meet the devil.

CHAPTER TWO - CARRIE

“Dammit,” I cursed under my breath as I sloshed another cup of coffee while placing it on the table. My mood would have been better, as well as my coordination, if I hadn’t had to pull a double after a turnaround. I was beginning to feel like I lived at Angelo’s Diner.

I looked up at Eddie who frowned, but since he was a regular whose time at the place practically made us roommates, he let it go.

Lindy came around the corner and whispered in my ear. “Can you believe that little shit called in again?” My best friend and confidant was as angry as I was. The boss’s niece, Jessica, had called in four times in the past two weeks and had left both Lindy and me in a bind every time.

“Yeah, she’s going to keep getting away with it too. You know it’s not like I don’t have enough to deal with. I’ve got my dad’s illness, housework piling up at home, and bill collectors after me. If it weren’t for them, I might bitch about the extra hours more, but I actually need the money.”

I wasn’t sure the money was worth it at times, knowing that I was working away what could be the last days of my father’s life. I was all he had to take care of him, and I hated knowing he was in and out of the nursing facility. With me working, it was all I could do. He needed constant care, and there was just the two of us since my stepmother bailed as soon as Dad’s heart gave out.

My own mother had passed when I was a baby, so I was trying to do everything I could to care for my father.

“How’s he doing? Did you get in touch with that specialist?” Lindy was the only person in my life that knew about my struggles, and I hadn’t told her the latest.

“He’s the same, and I did. The specialist wants to do a new procedure, but it’s going to be about thirty grand and with the other thirty I owe, I don’t know how I’m going to make it happen. I can’t get a loan, not with my credit from the whole art school thing and let’s face it, for that kind of money I’d have to sell my soul.

“Or your body.” She flashed me a wink, and I blushed.

“Yeah, at this point, it’s going to take a miracle, and unless one walks through that door, I’m screwed.” I heard the bells on the front entrance jingle, and Lindy let loose a laugh as she passed by on her way behind the counter.

“They’re all yours.” She gestured that way.

I glanced up and did a double-take as two of the most handsome men I’d ever seen walked through the door and took a seat at the closest booth. They were both the same height, but that’s where the similarities ended. One was a beautiful blond, who looked like he could model for the cover of a surfing magazine, his hair was to his chin, and his five o’clock shadowed face had soft features.

The other was a bit more mysterious, with piercing blue eyes, chiseled features, and a regal look like some kind of fairytale prince. His eyes met mine across the room, and the intimidating glare sent my pulse racing. He was no prince. Perhaps he would be the villain? He lifted his hand to wave me over, but I was already on my way, taking my order book out of my pocket.

“Yes? What can I get you?” I poised my pen and waited for him to speak, but his friend cleared his throat, and when I looked his way, he looked offended.

“Yeah, what’s the soup of the day?” asked the fair-haired one.

“It’s tomato, and that comes with toast.” I forced a friendly smile, though something about his tone grated my nerves.

The guy made a face. “What other soups do you have?”

“Baked potato, bean, and vegetable.”

“And sandwiches? Could I get a soup and sandwich?”

“What kind would you like?” I placed my hand on my hip as he gave me a blank stare.

“That’s what I’m asking.” He looked across the table at his buddy who was shaking his head.

The dark prince passed his menu across the table to his friend. “Here, see if mine reads any clearer for you.” He turned his eyes up to me, and his gaze trailed down my body as if I might be on the menu. “I’ll have the waffles and maple bacon with coffee and juice.”

The other guy looked up from the menu and frowned. “Breakfast for dinner?”

I worked my pen across the tablet and rolled my eyes in Babyface’s direction. “It’s hardly a new concept.”

That earned a smile from Mr. Mystery who took the menus from his friend and passed them to me. “He’ll have the same. And could we get some eggs, sunny side up?”

The other guy huffed out a breath and slumped back in his seat. “Sounds delicious.”

“You’ll love it.” I gave him a wink and shook my head as I walked away. As I went, I glanced over my shoulder, and sure enough, the hotter one’s eyes were following me.

I walked to the back and placed the order while Lindy sidled up next to me with a big grin on her face. I shook my head and let out a long breath. “That was your table. What did they do, stiff you before?”

“No, silly. Didn’t you notice what happened?” She leaned back against the counter and folded her arms across her waist.

“Notice what? Two incredibly hot men came and in and you push them on me? If you don’t want to wait on them, fine.”

“No. The timing. It’s like fate or something. You had just said it would take a miracle, and they came in. One of them could be your Prince Charming.” Lindy was the kind of friend who was totally weird and often inappropriate, but I’d learned to overlook her quirky ways and embrace her crazy.

“You know I don’t believe in that stuff, Lindy. It’s not easy being a dreamer when reality sucks.” I dealt with the ugly side of life on a daily basis with my father’s illness, and it was hard to see sunshine and rainbows, much less the cloud’s silver lining.

“Did you miss how incredibly hot and well-dressed they are? I bet those shoes on the tall, dark, and handsome one cost more than my freaking car. And lucky you, he’s still staring.”

I glanced over my shoulder and found that she wasn’t kidding around. He was still watching me through the window of the order station. I turned away quickly, but he didn’t seem so easily deterred.

I nudged Lindy who was still watching him as he watched us. “Stop it. You’ll encourage him. Besides, what’s a man like him going to want with a girl like me?”

“We’ve talked about what men want, and you’re a knockout, honey.”

“I’m a waitress who is barely making ends meet, with nothing going on in her life but watching her father grow sicker. So, let me bring this guy his coffee so he can get on with his life. I’m sure he needs plenty of time to buy more expensive shoes.”

I walked around and fixed my tray with their drink order and brought it over. I placed napkins on the table and then the juice, but each took the coffee cups straight from my hand. “You must be in serious need of a caffeine fix.” I placed the creamer service in front of them, but Dark Prince pushed it away.

“Thank you, Carrie,” he said, reading my name tag. “That’s a beautiful name.” Though he was paying compliments, his eyes were narrowed, and I couldn’t tell if he was trying to be seductive, or sizing me up.

I tucked my chin and fidgeted with my collar looking away. “Thank you.”

“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable, but I assumed a beautiful woman as yourself gets many compliments.” He sipped his coffee, and his friend turned his head to stare out the window. I wasn’t sure if he were genuine or not.

“Most people just order their food, eat it, and go.” I gave him a pointed look to let him know it was a suggestion, and his friend chuckled.

“Noted. Lucky for you I’ve never been like most people.” He returned a challenging stare along with a smile that lit his entire face. It made him appear much gentler than his previous look had.

“Lucky for me?” I gave a little laugh and was about to come back at him when the bell rang and the cook hollered.

“Order up!”

I glanced over my shoulder to see Joe shaking his head. “I’ll be right back.”

I turned and went to get their order. As I served it, a bus with about twenty blue-haired old ladies came in on their way to a convention, and things got so busy it was all I could do to keep his coffee filled.

I brought them their check, and before I could say goodbye, one of the blue hairs called me over to tell me she needed extra napkins.

The bells sounded over the door, and I looked up to see them leaving. When I went to clear their table, I found a crisp hundred-dollar bill and a message scrawled on a napkin.

I’ll see you tomorrow .

CHAPTER THREE - CHANCE

I stared out the window of my hotel suite and could see the top of Angelo’s sign. It was a tiny speck in the distance, and I couldn’t help staring. The girl at the diner had been the most beautiful girl I’d ever seen; and I’d seen a lot of beautiful women.

Carrie had a wholesome beauty that was refreshing compared to most of the women I’d taken back home with me. I hoped that she wasn’t so pure that she wouldn’t go for my offer, but then, with the money attached, it would be hard for anyone to refuse.

“Hey, when you’re down there, bring me back some of those waffles with the maple bacon.” Nate had appreciated the diner’s food after all and hadn’t stopped talking about it since we’d left.

“I’ll try and remember.” I gave him a teasing grin.

“You’re really going to choose her? She didn’t seem like the freaky type.”

“Most of them aren’t.” I didn’t choose all my companions by how freaky they might be in the bedroom. I didn’t even choose them by their looks, though, admittedly, all of them were beautiful. It took something much more than that: a gut instinct.

“I bet they are when you get through with them?” He grinned and looked up to give me a wink.

Being my best friend, I’d shared with him the details of some of the trips and the women I’d share my time with, the same as he’d share with me about his. He was the only person aside from my intermediary that knew any details about my hobby.

I didn’t dignify his remark with a response, and instead got the call that my car had arrived, so I went down after a casual goodbye and headed to the diner.

The bells on the door announced my arrival as I walked in and spotted Carrie across the room.

She wasn’t wearing her uniform, and instead had on casual jeans and a top which hung off her shoulders to reveal blue tank straps beneath it. Her hair was the only thing about her that was the same, and she wore it pulled up in a high ponytail.

As I walked over, I could think of a few things to do with that hair of hers, and imagined myself holding those gorgeous locks from behind, and her panting beneath me.

“Hey there, big tipper.” She gave me a warm smile, but I could tell she was leery of me as she took a step back when I approached.

“Hello, Carrie. I was hoping I could talk to you on your break.”

“Oh? I’m not working. I’m only here to get my check. But I guess I can make a minute for that hundred you dropped.” She waved me along with her to a booth, and as we situated, another waitress stepped up with a big smile.

“Can I get you two anything?” She had a grin on her face, and a look in her eye that told me she knew about the tip, and I recognized her from the day before.

“No, thanks, Lindy. I’m good.”

Carrie glanced up at me, and I decided I better order something.

“Coffee, please. Black.” Lindy hurried away, and Carrie propped her elbows on the table and folded her arms casually.

“I would have introduced you, but since I don’t know your name—”

“I’m Chance.” I wouldn’t tell her my last name, and I didn’t want to know hers.

“I bet you are,” she quipped. She glanced over her shoulder as Lindy returned to the table and placed my coffee down in front of me and hurried away. “What do you want to talk about, Chance? I’ve got a busy day of catching up on life before I have to come back to this shithole.”

“I have a proposition for you.” I figured we might as well get down to business.

She stared at me for a moment, her eyes becoming suspicious. “A ‘proposition’? I think you have the wrong girl,” she said as she shook her head. She started to stand to go, but I reached out and touched her hand. “It’s not illegal, and it pays one hundred thousand dollars, so maybe you’d like to hear me out.” She stared at me like I’d lost my mind as I continued. “Correct me if I’m wrong, but you don’t make anywhere close to that, do you?”

“Is this a joke? Did Lindy put you up to this?” She turned and stared at the other waitress who was busy waiting on another table.

“I’m quite serious. Are you interested?”

She shrugged. “I’ll hear you out.” She lifted her shoulder and held up her hand, waving Lindy over. “Bring me a root beer with a splash of vanilla and cherry, please. And put it on Chance’s ticket.”

“Root beer? I haven’t had one of those since I was a kid.”

“It’s a house specialty. You should try one sometime. So, about this proposition?” She made an impatient gesture, waving me on.

“I’d like you to come stay with me for two weeks. Everything would be arranged through a contract, and I don’t need to know anything more about your personal life than your first name. I use a mediator, so they would ensure your safety and make sure the money is paid on time per the contract.”

“Wait, you’re talking about sex?” I nodded, and she shook her head and laughed. “I’m not what you want. I’m not experienced for that kind of job , so maybe you should hire yourself a professional.” She pulled her lips into a tight line as Lindy dropped off her root beer and left.

“You’re exactly what I want. I’m intrigued by you, and I think we’d have a good time. My estate is gorgeous, so you could consider it a paid vacation if you like, and I’m sure that kind of money could change your life.”

“You have no idea.” She seemed as if she could cry, and I hated that she felt pressured. The fact that she hadn’t thrown the root beer in my face and slapped me, told me that she needed the money; badly. “Could I tell someone where I’m going?”

“Yes, and they could know how to contact the mediator if there’s any type of emergency.”

“Two weeks? Not a day longer?” She seemed to be really considering my offer, which made my dick twitch in my pants.

“Not an hour longer.”

She leaned in across the table. “I’ve got people who count on me, so if you’re dicking me around—”

“I’m not dicking you around. I’m a wealthy man, and I like to have what I want, but I also know that means paying handsomely for it. The rules are in place to ensure you’ll be safe, but there are also rules that protect me.”

“Protect you? From what?”

“From breaking the agreement, from going to the press and splashing my face and name all over the tabloids, etcetera.””

“In other words, if I take this deal—”

“I’m going to have you, anytime and anyway I want,” I finished.

Her mouth popped open, and she bit her bottom lip and met my eyes.

“It’s a lot to consider.” She wrung her hands on the table. “My father is sick, and I’m all he has.”

I placed my hands over hers and stroked them with my thumb. “Then I assume you aren’t in any position to say no.”

I gave her a moment to mull it over. “Should I have my man contact you?”

“As you said; what choice do I have?” I hated that her misfortune worked in my favor, but it wasn’t the first time, and in the end, the other women had been pleased with their time. Most jumped at the opportunity, but there were a few who were timid.

“It’s a yes or a no, Carrie. I can walk out that door and never see you again, but that would be a shame, don’t you think? Think of this as an adventure.” I gave her my warmest smile, and though she seemed reluctant, she gave me one in return.

“Then my answer is yes, so what do I need to do?”

I reached into my pocket and handed her a phone. It was the same one I used for all my women, and I had it wiped clean each time, and the number changed. “Take this, and a man named Rick Herring will contact you. He’ll make all the arrangements, and I’ll see you when you get there.”

“That’s it? I won’t see or talk to you until then?”

“No, but trust me, Carrie: we’re going to have a wonderful time.”

CHAPTER FOUR - CARRIE

I held Lindy’s hand, thankful that the agreement allowed me to have her with me as I waited to board the plane. My nerves were on edge knowing that once I landed at Chance’s private estate, not only would be at his whim, but I’d have to sleep with him.

“You’ll be okay, Carrie. I promise. I’d take this deal in a heartbeat, virgin or not. It only hurts a little the first time, and then you’ll be so horned up you won’t care.”

Her gung ho attitude was grating my last nerve, and it was easy for her to think this was a piece of cake; she’d lost her virginity when she was fifteen. “Is it strange that it’s the only part of the trip I’m worried about?”

She shook her head. “No, it sounds like a freaking vacation of a lifetime. Ireland is one of the most beautiful places in the world, with magical castles, and from what I’ve seen in pictures, it’s like a fairytale.”

“Magical? You do know there’s no such thing, as magic and fairy tales are bullshit, right?”

She let out a huff. “I’m trying to comfort you. You’ve really had it bad, haven’t you? You can’t see that life can bring wonderful, amazing moments, can you?”

“Um, have you met me?” I gave a half-hearted laugh. She knew me better than anyone on the planet, including my father, and that was only because I’d told her all the secrets I could never tell him. But she knew that life hadn’t dealt me a great hand, and it was no wonder why I thought magic and fantasies were a waste of time.

“I’ll tell you what I know. Your luck is changing. Ireland is a great place for good luck.”

“Did you read that on a postcard?”

She was about to answer, but a man I assumed to be Rick Herring came out of the terminal to greet me.

Rick wasn’t what I had expected from a mediator, which was a middle-aged man in all black with a briefcase. Instead, he wasn’t much older than me and seemed more like a hot IT geek, than someone working for a billionaire with eccentric needs.

Lindy smiled when he approached, and he gave her a smile back and a look up and down before he turned his attention to me. “If you’re all set, you can board now. You’ll be the only one aboard beside the pilot and one attendant. If you need anything, her name is Ruby, and she’s a gem.” He gave me a wink, and I let out a long breath as I turned to hug Lindy.

“I’ll have Rick check in and give you messages. Remember, my dad thinks we’re on a girl’s getaway, and the staff at home is aware that I’m not stopping by.”

“Have a good time, and don’t worry about things at work. You saved enough time, and I’ll cover you the one day.” She gave me one last hug, and Rick walked me to the door and said his farewells.

Twenty minutes later, I was on my way all alone to a different continent to meet a man I didn’t know so that I could give him my virginity. What can go wrong? I leaned over and watched out the window of the plane. It was the first time I’d flown, but the last thing I was afraid of.

According to the contract I’d signed, Chance’s wants and need were on the kinky side. Though there was a promise of no injury, I had also seen the words, ‘light bondage’, ‘blindfolds’, and ‘sexual aides’, whatever in the hell that meant. I couldn’t help but feel like I’d be a bit worried, even if I wasn’t a virgin.

I wished Rick could have come along and then I’d have someone to talk to, but I’d brought my contract and was prepared to read it again, though it was not very long, and to the point. Showing up meant I belonged to him for the two weeks and in that time, he had the right to do with me whatever he desired as long as it posed no threat to me. There would be no permanent markings allowed by either party, and I was to eat three meals a day, provided by his staff, and get at least eight hours of rest per twenty-four-hour period.

I could understand and appreciate the no markings rule, but it scared me to think how rough he might be able to be without leaving a mark.

I thought again about Chance and his strong, muscular frame. He could do some damage if he wanted to, or bring me to the brink of begging. There was no rule about pain, and Lindy had said it would hurt the first time. I wondered if he’d be gentle, as I had disclosed that I was a virgin. A man of his size must be large in other areas as well. A warm, tingling sensation spread through me thinking about him above me. He was so strong and handsome, and I still didn’t understand what he wanted with someone like me.

I glanced down at the contract’s list of rules as my stomach growled. As if on cue, Ruby came out of the back.

“Would you like something to eat?”

Three meals a day, and I’d managed to skip two. “Sure.” I hadn’t been hungry from the nerves, but I supposed I should try and eat something. I couldn’t remember the last time I’d had three meals in one day. And sleep? I’d gladly take eight hours a day. I couldn’t remember the last time I’d had that either. Maybe this wasn’t going to be so bad after all.

Ruby prepared my dinner, and I ate a small portion of it and then decided to take a nap. I’d have to be rested, though I hoped that when I arrived, he wouldn’t want sex immediately.

I had always hoped my first time might be special and with someone I loved. I’d dreamed of marrying a rich man when I was younger, one who would take care of me and treat me like a princess. I believed that marriage and love were that fairy tale type of romance up until my mother passed, and then my stepmother had taught me that love was not always unconditional and marriage was a choice.

She’d chosen to leave my dad when the going got tough, though I suppose it was for the best. She’d always hated me. But Daddy loved her, and I was content to deal with as long as he was happy.

I didn’t realize how much I cared about her until she was gone, or how much of a hole she’d filled until she’d decided to leave it empty again.

What was I doing? I tried to put it all out of my mind and get some rest. I needed to be on my toes if nothing else.

Ruby woke me as the pilot announced our landing and I held my breath. I was about to be taken to his castle, where I hoped to be treated like a human being, and not a piece of meat.

I exited the plane and the night sky greeted me, as did Chance’s driver.

The man gave me a polite nod as he opened the door and I slid inside. I’d freshened up a bit on the plane and was glad that Ruby had suggested it.

Before I knew it, the car slowed and turned down a different road. I peeked out the windows into the darkness and saw there was light ahead. I kept my eyes on it, hoping that soon I’d be able to tell where I was, and then I saw something that took my breath away.

We were headed toward one of those magical castles that Lindy had told me about. It's pale stone walls were covered with ivy and moss, and glowed in the moonlight. I wished I had a camera to send a picture to Lindy because she would never believe it.

A warm glow came from several of the windows and I began to feel more at ease.

The driver stopped beside a smaller entrance to the side of the castle, and then got out and opened my door.

“Thank you,” I said with a polite nod.

He brought my bags to the doorstep and left them as a large shadow filled the doorway. My heart skipped a beat as Chance walked out to greet me. His perfect hair was mussed and was dressed casually in loose jeans and a fitted T-shirt that showed off all his muscles. Desire ached in my core as I trembled slightly.

He smiled warmly at me as he reached out to take my hand. “Welcome to my home Carrie. I’m so glad you’re here.”

CHAPTER FIVE - CHANCE

I hurried out to greet Carrie, and my blood pumped like fire in my veins when I saw how amazing she looked. She was more beautiful than I remembered and it suddenly felt like it had been ages instead of a week since I’d seen her.

I stepped out to meet her, and she smiled. “Finally, a familiar face.”

“How was your trip?” I took her hand and headed into the house, but she turned and looked at her bags which were left by the door. “I’ll have an attendant gather those and bring them up to your room.”

“Oh, thank you. It was fine—the trip. I’ve never flown before. Actually, I’ve never left Nebraska before.” She gave a little shrug and glanced around as we walked down a long hall and into the great room. Her eyes widened. “This place is so big. It’s a real castle.”

I chuckled softly and nodded. “Yes, it’s a real castle, and while I’ll show you most of it, we’ll stay in this tower.”

She nodded, still taken aback by the scale of things. “Right. Tower. And there are others?”

“Four; one for each corner.”

She narrowed her eyes. “You’re not like a prince or something?”

“No. I’m a billionaire. I own a few businesses, but if I were to tell you which ones, I’d have to kill you,” I teased, trying to break the tension.

She rolled her eyes gave a reluctant laugh.

“Ah, right. Anonymity.” She folded her arms across her front.

“Come, let’s get you something to drink and make you comfortable. I know it’s late, but I’d like to talk a minute. Give you time to acclimate.”

“That would be nice, thank you.”

I took her hand and led her to the bar area on the far wall and poured her a drink. She started to take a seat on the nearest barstool, but I took her hand. “I think there are more comfortable places here.” I led her to my den where the furnishings were less formal.

One of the first things I’d done to personalize my castle home was order four custom-built black leather sofas. I placed them in the room in a square formation, and they were comfortable to lounge on and the perfect place to get more acquainted.

“Have a seat.”

She lowered herself onto the leather and smiled. “This is amazing. I could sleep right here.”

“You’ll have a bed that’s twice as amazing as this. You’ll see. But first, I wanted to talk to you about the contract and answer any questions you have. I like to get this out of the way to avoid any confusion.” I also didn’t like the ugly talk of arrangements screwing up the mood once we got started.

“I believe I understood it just fine. Everything will be at your whim and in your control for the next two weeks. I’ll have no say.” She made a face as if that part wasn’t to her liking.

“I think you’ll be surprised at how much control you’ll have. You’ll influence every decision I make. I’m not a monster, Carrie. I want this to be fun for you.”

She seemed to mull that over for a moment. “I haven’t had much fun lately. My father’s sick. He’s got to have surgery, and since we’re broke, I’m hoping to use the money so he can get it.”

I had lost my own father a few years ago to a heart attack. He’d been a tyrant who had made most of my life miserable to make is fortune. Though we hadn’t been close, it had still been painful to lose him. Carrie’s face softened when she spoke of her father, and I imagined that seeing him in failing health was excruciating for her. I wanted to make her forget all about that for a while.

“I’m sorry to hear that your father is so sick,” I said, to which she shrugged. Deciding to change the subject to more pleasant things, I cleared my throat. “When you do get a chance, what do you like to do for fun?”

“I used to paint; acrylic mostly, but sometimes I’d work with oils. My father used them. He loved the textures. I thought they were too messy and took too long to dry. I prefer faster results, I guess,” she answered.

“Impatient?” I’d have fun with that. She’d get a good lesson in patience while she was here with me.

“I suppose. But I love creating, and I have so many ideas that I do better with smaller projects; ones that give me instant gratification.”

A sly smile played around the corners of my mouth as I thought about gratification and how much of it she’d be getting. I couldn’t take my eyes off her.

Seeing her in the dress she’d worn, per my dress code, really showed off her curves and her long legs. Her skin was like honey and hair was a pale blond that complemented her bright green eyes. I could feel my dick straining against the fabric of my jeans.

She cleared her throat, and I snapped out of my daze. “Your father is an artist too, then?”

“Yes. He’s really good.”

“I bet you’re good too.” I had a feeling she was going to be good at whatever I threw at her,

“I’m okay, I guess. I was featured at a local art show, and one of my works hangs in the library back home. It’s not much, but other people seem to enjoy it.”

“That’s amazing. There is a gallery here in the castle. I’ll show it to you tomorrow if you like. There are some amazing old portraits throughout the castle, as well.” I suddenly wanted to show her all those things and was glad she seemed to share my love of art. “You know, my mother used to paint some. I have one of hers hanging in my bedroom. You’ll see it.”

“Right, when we—”

“Right.” I looked at her, and she shifted in her seat and sipped her drink,

“I’ve never been away from home.”

“Well, you certainly picked a good place for your first visit. Is someone caring for your father back home or is he in a facility?” I hated that I put her out to come, but on the other hand, I was selfish and couldn’t help but want her.

“He’s in a home. Our old house is a bit behind on taxes, but I hope that some of this money will fix that too. It also needs a bit of repair. I’ve been taking care of things since my stepmother left. She took my dad’s savings on her way out.”

She had seen hard times, and it made me feel for her. I’d had some rough times with family issues as well, and it was never easy, rich or poor. Money didn’t solve everything, and it didn’t make a home a happy place to be.

“Is there anything else about the contract that you needed to know? I don’t mind explaining the reasons behind some of my rules, but I’d rather discuss these things now instead of later. And I especially think you should ask before we have sex.” I wasn’t going to tell her, but if she felt she had to leave, I’d do the courteous thing and pay her fares and see her home safely. I could certainly afford it, and it was only put in the rules so no one could try to take advantage of me.

“I do have one question, and I hope that you won’t take it the wrong way, but I’m a little confused by it.” She raked her hand through her pale hair and took a deep breath.

“Of course, ask me anything. Now’s the time.” Her question was sure to be a familiar one. It wasn’t too often that the women I’d brought asked me something I’d never heard before.

“Why go through all this just to have sex with someone? I mean, you’re kind of super hot, so it’s not like you should have to pay for it or buy someone’s time.” She let out a breath and then looked away.

“You think I’m super hot?” I leaned in and gave her a smoldering look.

“Oh, that’s it; you totally didn’t know it, right? Well, let me be the first to tell you.” We exchanged a laugh, and she shook her head. “I can’t believe I’m here.”

“Why? Because I’m so hot?” I chuckled. “Yes, I’ve been told that before.”

“A few times?” she asked, her tone still steeped in sarcasm.

“How often are you told?”

The question took her by surprise, and she looked down to her drink and then finished it off. She swallowed hard and then looked up to the ceiling.

“Maybe once or twice by someone other than my father. He thinks I’m the most beautiful girl in the world.” She rolled her eyes and made a silly face.

“I’d have to agree with him.” She was by far the most beautiful, and I could tell she thought I was not being serious. I made a mental note to change that.

“You didn’t answer my question.”

“I like controlling all my business arrangements so that no one can sue me, trap me, or use me. Besides, this way I get what I want when I want it.”

Her eyes burned into mine, and that look of uncertainty returned to her face. “When are you going to want it?”

“Carrie, I’ve wanted it from the first time I walked into that diner.”

CHAPTER SIX - CARRIE

Being able to sit and talk with Chance had put me at ease, but knowing that I was sure to disappoint him in the bedroom was weighing on me. He’d admitted that he wanted to start the sexual part of our arrangement soon, and since I’d signed the contract, I wouldn’t have any say in it.

I hadn’t known what to say since his admission, and though I wasn’t afraid of him and found him attractive, I felt like I should tell him that I was uncomfortable. But then he leaned forward and offered me his hand.

I took it, and as he helped me to my feet, I decided I better speak up. “Where are we going?” My nerves were like a knot in my stomach.

“I’d like to show you the bedroom and where you’ll be spending a large portion of our time here together.” His lips parted showing me a toothy grin. “You know, having pillow fights and building forts with the sheets.”

His kidding put me at ease as he led me up the stone stairway and down another long hall. After walking around two corners and up another small flight of stairs, we reached his master bedroom.

Though beautiful, the room was sparsely decorated, and aside from the large, black bed, which took an entire corner of the large area and was dressed in white silk, there wasn’t much else. There was a small table beside the bed with a drawer and a trunk on the far side of the room. Long billowing drapes hung from the windows which went from floor to ceiling and didn’t offer much privacy. The was a chair positioned in front of the window as if someone had spent some time there, contemplating life.

“It’s nice. I love the bed. Is it hand-carved.”

“Take a closer look; it’s metal.” He nodded for me to go ahead and he stayed put as I walked across the room to get a better look.

“Impressive.” It truly was. I had never seen anything like it, and the entire structure must weigh a ton. “How’d you get it up here?” I trailed my fingers along the vines that wrapped around the heavy columns. The entire bed reminded me of a wrought iron gate with roses and thorny stems, intricate and beautiful.

He chuckled and stepped closer. “You’re the only person who has ever asked that.” He took a deep breath as if it were a long story. “Let’s just say that sometimes it helps to be so wealthy. I had to do a bit of structural research, and then I hired the artist to build it right where it stands.”

“That’s amazing. It must have taken her forever.”

He gave me an incredulous look. “How did you know it was a woman?”

“Because of the lines. It feels strong but still feminine.” He seemed impressed that I’d caught that detail.

“Then you’ll be a perfect fit.” He took my hand and stepped closer.

“Why do you think that?”

“Oh, I know it from all you’ve told me. You’re a beautiful, strong young lady, Carrie.” He cupped my chin and then tilted it upward as he leaned forward to meet my mouth with a gentle kiss.

I didn’t move at first, not because I didn’t want him to kiss me, but because I was afraid I’d ruin the moment. Then his hand landed in the small of my back and nudged me forward, deepening the kiss, and I melted into him.

Without stopping, he turned us around and walked me back to the bed, and as my bottom hit the side of the tall mattress, I put my hand on his chest and pushed, hoping he’d stop.

He glanced down at my hand and gave me a curious look. “Is there something wrong?”

“I just feel there’s something I should tell you.”

His brows lifted and he took a step back to give me space. I could tell that he was less than enthused and probably thought that I was about to turn him down.

“I told you I’m not very experienced, but the truth is, I have no experience.”

His brows lifted in surprise and he took a step back, folding his arms across his broad chest and walking toward the window. He got about ten steps away and then walked back, shaking his head. “This was something you could have told me before.”

“I’m sorry, I thought you knew what I meant when I said I wasn’t experienced, but then I thought I should make sure.”

He stepped close. “It’s not that it’s a bad thing. It’s just that I have certain ways and if I’d—”

He looked away and then raked his hand through his hair. “If I’d taken you, as I would someone else, I could have hurt you. I’m not into hurting women like that. I truly want this to be as enjoyable for you as it is me.” His arm came around me and then he leaned closer. “I’m glad you told me, and I’ll take it slow. But I understand if you want to back out.”

“No.” I couldn’t afford airfare back home, and despite everything, I was hot for him. “I want you.”

“Mm. That’s what I want to hear, angel.”

I figured he came up with the nickname because of my purity, but I didn’t mind it. Hearing it roll off his lips gave me a tingle, and no one had ever given me a pet name before.

I wondered what I should call him. The contract forbade us knowing each other’s last names. “If you call me Angel, then what should I call you?”

“Chance or Sir, and I’ll tell how and when to use which.” He climbed up on the bed and held out his hand, and I climbed up to join him. The bed was not only large, but it was tall and very cushy.

Chance placed a hand on my chest and encouraged me to lay back. I wished I known what to do and scrambled to think, but then as he came forward and kissed me, I lay back and nestled down atop the duvet.

His mouth was soft against mine, and then he slipped his hand down into my dress and cupped my breast. I took in a sharp breath as his thumb brushed against my nipple, and then he pinched it sending an aching throb straight to my pussy.

I’d pleasured myself many times, but had not penetrated for fear I’d hurt myself, so when he slipped his hand down into my panties, I grew nervous. Instead of fingering me though, he rubbed against my bare mound which was still tender from the waxing he’d requested per my contractual agreement. I hadn’t had much hair, to begin with, but now I was as smooth as rose petals.

“I see you follow instructions, which is going to make this time for us so much more fun.” He stroked my tender bud, and I shuddered beneath him, my legs suddenly scissoring together uncontrollably.

“No, angel. Stay open for me. Feels good, doesn’t it?” He continued to stroke my clit, and my little slit grew damp as he slid his fingers through my folds.

“You’re so wet. I need to taste it.” He went down and tugged my dress up. He’d given me specific instructions on what to wear and how to be prepared for him, and I’d tried my best to be pleasing.

He slipped my panties down and left them around my knees while he licked my virgin pussy for the first time. His mouth was warm against me, and he took his time being slow and gentle with me. He worked me with his tongue until I felt an intense pressure building in my core. I lifted my hips and closed them tight around him, but he didn’t stop, and the pleasure grew so great, that I screamed out as I came apart.

“That’s right. Come, angel. It’s only the beginning of your pleasure. There’s so much more to experience.”

Rubbing my pussy had always felt good, but I’d never felt anything like that. There was a knot in me that needed untying, and I hoped he’d do the job soon.

He sat up and took off his shirt, and then he undid his pants and pulled them off too. My eyes widened, and my face burned with a blush as his huge erection sprang forward jutting from between his legs. It was of ample size and compared to ones I’d seen before, which wasn’t many, my ideas of what to expect had been way off.

He got on his knees and stroked himself as he looked into my eyes. “I’ll be easy.”

“It’s a lot bigger than I thought it would be.”

The corners of his lips turned up. “Don’t be scared of it. Why don’t you give it a kiss and become better acquainted?” He held it out and waved me over.

I had given two blowjobs in my life, and neither was with anyone that big before. I licked my lips, and my pussy throbbed as I sat up and leaned over. My hair spilled down around me, and he gathered it up and held it as I took him into my mouth. I sucked his head a little, rolling my tongue around the rim and darting it inside the tiny slit at the tip and tasted a bit of salt.

“Take it deeper, angel. I know you can you do it. See how much.” I took a deep breath and went down, but not even halfway, he hit the back of my throat, and I gagged. I pulled away and caught my breath, and he stroked my hair.

“I can’t.” I shook my head.

“Yes, you can. You will. Relax and try again. I’ll help you.” His hand rested on the back of my head, and I began to panic, thinking he was going to force it. Instead, he guided me gently, letting me take my time, and sure enough, I went deeper than before without gagging.

That’s my girl. Do it again for me and hold it. Let me fuck that throat for a minute.” I wanted him to be proud of me and not disappoint him, so I did as he told me.

He held my head on him and thrust his hips upward to fuck my mouth as he’d wanted, and I was just getting used to it when he pulled away. “I need inside that tight pussy.” He lifted me up, laid me back on the bed, and he centered his cock at my entrance. “I’ll nudge it in nice and slow. You just relax.”

“Yes, sir,” I whispered.

He met my eyes and smiled, and then he kissed me. “Good girl.” Then he kept his eyes focused on me, inching his cock into me, his thick bell spreading me wide and stopping against my hymen.

“This is going to hurt a little. So, take a deep breath.” He breathed with me and then his hips came forward, and I felt the burning pain of my virginity being shredded.

I whimpered, and he kissed my mouth as he arched his back and buried himself deeper, inch by inch.

“Mm. You’re so tight, angel. I’m in heaven right now. I’m going to fuck it nice and slow.” He moved his hips and eased the building pressure between my legs with each stroke and for a first time, it wasn’t that bad. I held onto his firm arms around me, loving the way his muscles rippled beneath my fingers as the pleasure built between my legs.

“How are you? Are you okay?”

I nodded. “Yes, sir. It feels so good, and I feel like I’m going to come agian.”

“You will come again, I command it. And soak me good, angel. You’re doing great, and you feel so good on my cock with that tight fucking pussy.” He ground his hips into me, and as he pressed hard against my clit, I started trembling again, my orgasm causing me to clench my walls, gripping him even tighter.

“I’m coming!” It was the most amazing feeling to come on his cock and know that he could feel it too.

“Good girl. Now tell me where you want it.”

I hadn’t thought about it, but since I was on the pill, I assumed things would be fine. Per the contract, I knew that he was clean. I trusted him, and I wanted my first time to be all the way.

I met his eyes as he picked up his pace. “Come inside me.”

In another moment, he thrust hard, and as I hiccupped through the pain, his hot cum shot out, coating my walls and soothing the burn.

Once he stilled, we lay there, not bothering to get up and clean ourselves and he pulled me close to him, and within minutes, his breath leveled off, and he fell asleep. I closed my eyes still reeling from the excitement, but soon followed him into sleep.

CHAPTER SEVEN - CHANCE

Carrie pressed her bare ass into my cock and made a soft cooing sound. I opened my eyes, but she was still asleep.

I’d had no idea she was so green. It was going to make a few of my preferences impossible. She’d be sore for a couple of days, and with the multiple sessions I had planned, it would only get worse. I’d have to be as gentle as possible.

I planted a soft kiss on her shoulder, and she stirred. As she rolled over, I noticed her wince.

“How are you feeling?” I brushed her hair softly away from her face.

“Like I was run over by a semi.”

I stifled a chuckle as she sat up.

“Was it so bad?”

“No, it wasn’t. I mean, it hurt a little at first, but then—wow. I didn’t know that an orgasm could feel that good.”

“That was nothing; they’ll get better, I promise. Do you feel like having a bite? I ordered brunch, and it should be ready for us.” I had all our meals scheduled and hoped that if she ate she’d keep her energy up. She was going to need it.

“I could eat. I was so nervous I didn’t eat well the past few days.”

“Which is why you’re so worn out. It’s important to keep your energy up. How about a nice, hot shower and I’ll take you down after?” I took her hand and helped her to her feet.

“That sounds amazing.” She stretched and then I walked to her to the bathroom where I allowed her privacy as she showered. I went to the other bathroom across the hall and did the same. Normally I’d share a shower with her, but since she was sore and had bled, I figured she’d need a moment alone. When I was done, I went back across the hall to my bedroom and found her waiting. She’d cleaned up and wore another dress as I requested.

“I’m starved.” She hurried to my side, and I walked her down the long staircase. “You should have an elevator installed.” We had only made it halfway down.

“It’s good for us and will keep us in shape. I had considered an elevator, but then, figured it would take away the fun of the castle experience.”

“True. What will we do after we eat?” She kept her head down, and I knew that things had been rough on her, so I had a feeling she was asking because she thought I’d want to have sex again very soon.

“I thought I’d show you around a bit and then take you to the gallery.”

Her eyes lit with surprise, and she smiled. “That would be amazing, thank you.”

It was a refreshing feeling to know she actually cared about the castle. Most of the others had only seen the kitchen and the bedroom and some of my living quarters. I’d never taken anyone over to the gallery and had only used the room for a personal relaxation room.

We entered the kitchen, and I took her to a small table I’d had brought in especially for me and my guests to eat.

“This is where you have all your meals?” She looked around and lowered herself into one of the tall-back chairs. “No offense, but this is a bit off-scale considering the furniture you have in the main room.”

“I like to be intimate when I eat. I’ll show you what I mean when I take you around. The dining hall is monstrous. The chairs are so massive that it’s like eating on a throne.”

“Aren’t you king of this castle?” She met my eyes and with a narrowed look.

“You have to ask?” Her cheeks reddened, and she was distracted as my cook placed our brunch before us. I had ordered us both an egg white omelet and toast, and she quickly dug into hers, taking healthy bites and only stopped long enough to gulp down her orange juice.

She glanced up and caught me watching. “I’m sorry, I must look like a pig. It’s just that I don’t usually have time to eat, so I tend to eat fast.”

“You can take your time. It’s not going anywhere, and there are no tables to wait on and no one to take care of. Enjoy.” I wondered what it was like to constantly have to look after others. I’d been fortunate that I hadn’t had to take care of anyone, which the more I thought about it, was sad.

“I’ve done it all so long that I’m not sure how to stop worrying about others. It’s all I can do not to cut your omelet up for you. Or to bring you a second helping. Lately, it’s been a bit different with my father in the home, but it got so bad that he couldn’t be alone while I worked and the lady that used to sit with him is in bad health too.”

“It sounds like you’ve never really taken a minute for yourself.” I couldn’t help but admire her, and it wasn’t the first time she’d surprised me. She wasn’t like the other type I’d brought here. Her looks, while beautiful like theirs, were more wholesome and her naivety didn’t dumb her down or make her a bitch like it had some of the women. She was mature and caring, without a selfish bone in her body. I had to remind myself not to get to wrapped up in her.

I’d never been so interested or intrigued before, and I couldn’t let that get in the way of what I had going for me. I’d carefully laid out all the rules and planned these trips to treat myself, and as much as I liked her, it couldn’t be more. I had to stick to the arrangements.

We finished our meals and then I led her through the castle and then out into the courtyard. The sunlight hit her face, and as she closed her eyes and tilted her head up as if basking in it, I knew I was in trouble. Not only was she the most beautiful woman I’d ever seen, but I could see myself caring about her.

I held her hand all the way across the courtyard, where she stopped and smelled every flower we passed.

She touched her nose to one bright red rose. “I’ve never smelled anything so sweet. Did you plant these?” She closed her eyes and savored it.

“No, they were here when I bought the place. I hired a gardener to keep all the plants and flowers. No telling how long some of them have been around.” I pinched off a red bloom and handed it to her. “Now you can take that scent with you.” She put her nose to the flower once more, and I noticed the color matched her lips.

We walked hand in hand to the other tower, and once we went inside, I led her down the long hallway on the main floor to the gallery.

As she walked into the room, I heard a gasp as she held her heart. “It’s breathtaking.” She took off, walking to the far side of the room by one of the large windows and stood looking up at the highest hung paintings. “Your mother painted some of these?”

“I keep hers mixed with the others, all but for this one.” I walked to the simple still-life painting my mother had done of a fruit basket when I was a child, and she walked across the room to join me. “It’s not her best, but I remember her painting this one. I was one of her last. We’d gone to the market down the street from our home where she’d chosen the fruits by their colors.” I pointed to the one, empty banana peel next to the bowl. “I ate that on the way home.”

She met my eyes with a smile. “That’s a sweet memory. And she was really good. Hers is better than most of these. The colors are so much more vibrant, yet the strokes, it gives it that classic look. Like it was painted a century ago.”

She stared closely at the painted as if taking in every stroke. “Show me more of her work.”

“How about you see if you can find them. Stand here and see if you can point them out.” I pointed to a place in the middle of the room, and she looked at the paintings with a finger curled to her lips.

Then suddenly, she took off toward one. “That one, there. Is that you?”

“No, it’s actually my father when he was a boy. She painted it from a photograph. She wasn’t happy with the outcome, so she rarely painted portraits.”

“She should have done more. She was good at them.”

“I agree. And you have a good eye.” I waited as she stepped back and chose another painting, and we spent another few hours lounging around the room and playing the game. And all I could think about was how special she was.

Damnit Chance, what are you doing?

CHAPTER EIGHT - CARRIE

I woke to him stirring beside me. It had been two days since I’d lost my virginity and other than holding my hand and stealing a few kisses as we lounged in the gallery, Chance had not tried to take advantage of our sexual arrangement. I assumed that maybe I hadn’t been very good, or that perhaps he was giving me time to heal. I was sore from his intrusion, and while I was thankful for the break, I wondered if it would only hurt again and again each time.

I also couldn’t help but wonder if he’d continue to be gentle, which was nice, but some of my urges had me wishing that he’d be a little more aggressive. I could take it, but I was sure if I suggested, he’d be upset. He’d been very particular that things be in his time and his way, and I had a feeling he’d already had to change his rules because of my virginity.

I got up and headed to the shower, hoping to let the steam wake me up, but then he appeared in the doorway on the other side of the frosted glass. Though his image was distorted, I could tell what he was doing as he took off his shorts and approached. He opened the door and stepped inside.

The shower was big enough for at least four people, and I wondered if he’d ever filled it to capacity. He seemed like the kind of man who could satisfy multiple women, and had a time or two.

I knew better than to protest, and as my eyes trailed up and down his body, I didn’t mind. He was a work of art, and after seeing so many of the paintings in the gallery, the nudes of angels, and the loin-clothed warriors, he had them all beat.

“I hope you don’t mind me joining you.” He stepped up behind me, and his cock brushed against my lower back.

“Of course not.”

“I’ve given you a couple of days, but I’m afraid I can’t wait much longer to have you again, Carrie.” He brought his arms around my waist and pulled me closer and bent his knees so that his cock slipped between my legs and he ground his hips against me. “I’ll be gentle,” he whispered.

I let my head fall to the side as his mouth pressed against my neck and walked us forward to the wall, where I put my hands up to steady myself. “I don’t think I want you to be too gentle.”

He stopped, his body seeming to tighten behind me. “If you’re absolutely sure I don’t have to be.”

“I’m sure.” I knew what I was asking and the consequences, but I wanted to be taken harder. I wanted to experience all I could with him during my time. “I’m sorry about the other day. I want to be better for you.”

“You were amazing the other day.” He kissed my neck and trailed his mouth down my back and knelt down, parting my ass cheeks. Suddenly his tongue darted, and he licked my little star, causing me to tighten.

“I’m not ready for that.” I pulled away, and he turned me around and licked my slit.

“I know. But you will be before you leave, so I like to train it a bit. You’ll appreciate it later, trust me.” He lapped at my front and the little bare cleft between my legs, and then he parted my folds and exposed my clit. His mouth closed on me, and he nibbled and sucked, causing me to grip his hair and hold him on me as I clenched. A wave of ecstasy washed over me, and he looked up into my eyes as he slipped two thick fingers inside me. “Mm. You’re already so wet; I think you’re ready.”

My need was so great that I pulled him up and gripped his waist, hitching my leg up around him. I wanted him inside me, filling me up and easing the growing tingle between my legs.

He responded to my actions with his own, and he placed his hand on my hip and then aimed his cock for my entrance. “I’m going to put you on the wall and the fuck you hard. Do you want that, angel?”

“Yes, please.” My feet left the floor, and suddenly my back was against the wall, and my legs were wrapped around his hips clenching tight to keep from falling even though he had me safe in his arms.

In another moment, he pressed inside me, finding a bit of resistance because his cock was so wide inside my tight walls. But after a moment I relaxed and settled around him as he began to fuck me. “You feel so fucking good on my cock, angel. How do you feel?”

“It’s so good; I want it harder.” I closed my eyes and focused on where he was and how it felt, the intensity increasing as he obliged and rocked his hips in a faster rhythm.

“You like that?”

I could barely speak for the panting, but I wanted him to know how much I loved it. “Yes, fuck me like that.”

“I love hearing you beg like a little slut. I’m going to make you into a wanton whore. You’ll wake up begging for it. Tell me you’ll be a good girl, angel.”

“I’ll be your good girl.” He hitched me up against him and turned me to a different wall, still pumping his cock steadily into my tight channel.

“That’s what I want to hear, Carrie. That you’ll be mine and let me use you any way I see fit.”

Two days ago, the thought of that had terrified me, but now I was well on my way to being his, and I loved it. “I am your good girl.”

“Fuck yes. I’m going to fill you with my cum and claim you, angel. Are you going to let me take this little pussy any way I want to?”

He ground his hips against me as I cried out, another orgasm ripping from me, breaking me apart around him.

“Yes! Oh God, yes,” I screamed.

“That’s right, Carrie. Come all over me.” He gripped my hair and pulled my head back as he kissed my breasts, his mouth closing on my tight nipple and sucking so hard I felt it pinch in my pussy. The tingle was growing painful, but there was enough pleasure that I craved more and more.

I quivered around him and felt the way my pussy tightened to milk him. He moaned as it happened and slowed his pace, giving a curse under his breath each time. “You bad little girl, trying to make me come now. Greedy, greedy.” He laughed and hitched me up, and instead of taking me back to the other wall of the shower, he turned off the water and took me, dripping wet from head to toe, to his bed.

He lay down on top of me, lifted my legs up over his shoulders, and then he drove into me hard. I screamed out, and he covered my mouth, fucking me harder and harder. “You wanted it rough, didn’t you? Tell me how bad you want it.”

He uncovered my mouth, and I tried to speak, but my panting was too far out of control. I felt like I was going to rip in half and die of bliss.

“I want it so bad.” I struggled to get the words out, and he leaned forward, gripping my legs and pushing them up toward me until I folded in half.

Suddenly, his body lurched, and he ground into me, holding still as his cock, which seemed to have a mind of its own, twitched inside me, and the warm tingle of his release poured into me.

“That’s a good girl. I want you to clean this cock for me, now. Suck it nice and slow until it’s hard again.” He lifted me up on my elbows and straddled my chest, aiming his cock for my mouth. “You wanted it this way, Carrie. Remember that.”

I had too. I opened my mouth and took his cock inside. I sucked and licked as he hovered over me. I could taste both of our orgasms on him and found it incredibly sexy.

He really was going to turn me into his greedy little whore.

CHAPTER NINE - CHANCE

Her stamina had improved greatly since the first time, and though I’d wanted to take things slow with her, I couldn’t help but oblige her wishes. She’d asked for it nice and hard, and I was going to give it to her, though I did still find myself holding back. I’d fucked the others so hard they’d begged me to stop and then begged for more all in one breath. As she nursed my cum-soaked cock, sucking it clean from its semihard state, I noticed how much more she was enjoying the pleasure and allowing it to consume her.

Once my cock was clean and throbbing with a full erection, I stood. It was time I showed her another one of my tricks. I reached into the drawer beside by bed and pulled out some padded cuff restraints. Her eyes widened and she licked her lips.

“What are those for?” she asked.

“Did I give you permission to ask questions?” I said.

“No, sir,” she answered.

“Get on all fours,” I commanded.

She gave me a fearful look, and I knew she was scared of me using her ass, so I decided it was time to end that fear. I needed her comfortable for me to do whatever I pleased.

After securing her wrists to the headboard with the cuffs, I parted her cheeks and pressed my thumb hard against her tight little hole. She clenched and leaned away. “You’re going to learn to trust me now, Carrie. I’m going to take your ass soon, but I want you to know how good it can feel.”

“It will hurt.”

“Not if we train it. It won’t be any worse than the loss of your virginity. I’m going to insert a finger, and I don’t want you to clench.” I sucked my finger and then leaned over and licked her little tight spot. Then I pressed a finger, feeling her tighten.

“No.” I spanked her ass hard, and she whimpered. “Do not clench. Relax for me. I’ll tell you when it’s okay to clench. Do you understand?”

“Yes, sir.”

“Good girl. This is all for your pleasure, Carrie. You’ll see.” She nodded, and I wondered if she was on the verge of tears. “Speak to me, audible answers only.”

“Yes, sir.” Her voice was near breaking, and I shook my head, not at her crying, but that she didn’t trust me.

I slipped my finger inside, and she fought against clenching the best she could. “Now you can clench with it inside. It’s not so bad is it?”

“No, sir. It feels fine.”

“Good, now let me get something that’s going to help you even more.” I pulled away from her and reached into the little drawer beside the bed and pulled out the smallest anal plug that I owned. I kept a selection of new toys for each lady, and when their time was done, they could bring them home, including the life-size dildo that I’d had made from a mold of my cock.

Her eyes widened as she saw what I had. “You’re going to put that inside me?”

“It’s perfectly safe. I want to fuck you with it in, and then I want you to wear it a while.” She nodded her head again, and I cleared my throat.

“Yes, sir.”

“Good girl.” I released one had from the cuffs so she could roll onto her back, but left the other secured to the bed frame. I lubed up the plug and slipped it inside her tight hole, and when I brought her up to my hips, she moaned. “See, it won’t hurt. I won’t do anything to hurt you, Carrie.”

“Thank you, Chance.”

Hearing my name on her lips, I centered my cock and thrust deep inside her. She cried out, but only with pleasure and then she was moaning and panting again, like my greedy little slut.

She dug her nails into my flesh as she came, her pussy clenching my shaft so tight it had me coming too. I soaked her depths and fucked her steadily until the last bit of my seed spilled into her.

As we lay there, each one trying to gain control of our breathing, she ran her fingers across the angry welts on my back where she’d marked me. “I’m so sorry, Chance.” She sat up, panicked. “I don’t know what came over me. I know it’s against the rules.” The contract strictly forbade either of us making marks on one another.

“It’s okay; I know how easy it is to get lost in the moment.” If it had been anyone else, I would have been angry, but with her, it was all proving different, though a small punishment might be fun. “You’ll just have to make it up to me.”

“Yes, sir. I’m sorry.”

“Don’t be.” I kissed her lips. “I have to go down and take care of a few things. I want you to wear that plug for me for a while. I’ll tell you when you can take it out and no matter how much that little pussy of yours aches with need because of it, I don’t want you to touch yourself. Let the need build. Are we clear?”

“Yes sir.”

I leaned over her and kissed her sweet mouth, releasing her other hand from the cuff.

“I’ll be in my study. It would be a great time to send a message to Rick to arrange a call home. I’ve called him earlier and instructed him to allow you to talk person to person through his connection.”

“Thank you.” She sat up with her excitement, easing onto one side as if not wanting the plug to hurt.

I planted another kiss and then headed down to my office. “You’re welcome.” It seemed I was breaking all my rules for her.

I called Nate to check on work and found him in a strangely happy mood. “Yep, everything is fine here,” he said with a bit of extra pep in his voice.

“You sound like you got laid.” The guy had no trouble finding hot women to bed, but that had become so common that it rarely affected his mood.

“Yeah, you could say that I might have found the one.”

What a coincidence , I wanted to say. I actually felt as though I’d found someone special too, even though I knew it would be ending too soon. And I wasn’t sure how she felt about me. I mean, I knew that she was more than satisfied sexually, but once she got her money, would she forget all about me? For the first time, the thought of that made me sick to my stomach. What the fuck was happening to me?

“That’s great, man. I can’t see you settling down, but if that’s what you decide, I wish you luck,” I say to Nate.

“So, how're things there in the pleasure pit? Is this one as feisty as the last?”

I’d told him about the temper the girl before had, and how she’d thrown one temper tantrum too many and it had gotten her tied up and fucked in every hole. I wasn’t out of my rights to punish, and she’d known it.

I didn’t want to sit and brag about Carrie. It didn’t feel right. She was a good girl and deserved the respect of privacy. “She’s fine. Tell me more about work. How’s the Nebraska deal going? Are the builders staying steady so far?”

“Yeah, they had one rain delay but nothing that put them behind. I’ve been calling daily to get a report as you wanted.”

“Thanks, man. I’m glad to hear it’s good.”

“Is that all you’re going to say about the girl?” He sounded like he couldn’t believe I was going to withhold information.

“I want to respect this one’s privacy.” I knew the moment that fell from my tongue that he was going to tease me about it.

“Wow, you must like her.”

“So, what if I do? You’re the one who’s found the one .” I gave a teasing chuckle, and he made a sound of frustration.

“I don’t know why I tell you anything. But hey, if that’s what’s going on, I wish you luck. You deserve happiness, friend.”

I let out a long breath. “Likewise.” Then I hung up the phone thinking about what he’d said. Did I deserve someone like Carrie? Suddenly, I wanted to be worthy. I jumped from my chair and hurried upstairs where I found her in the room brushing her hair.

“Can I take it out now?” She sat up in her seat and then crossed the room. “Please?” Her legs scissored together, and she seemed to have an ache building.

“Yes, take it out, but still no pleasuring yourself. I’d like for you to get dressed and I’ll return to take you out for dinner.”

“We’re leaving the castle?” She seemed surprised, and I knew the contract had stated that we’d stay in, but there was a nice restaurant I had been to many times with Nate and others when I came to the castle for other reasons, and I wanted to share it with her.

“Yes.” I walked into the room toward the closet.

I opened the closet door. “Come. I think you’ll find these to your liking,” I said, motioning to the formal wear.

She walked over to peek inside the closet, and her mouth popped open. “These are all mine?”

Along with the toys, I made sure to get all my partner's sizes, not only for clothes but for harnesses and other things.

“Yes, and you may take them home. I’ll give you an hour. I’d like to see your hair pulled up too.” I kissed her forehead and left her to her privacy.

CHAPTER TEN - CARRIE

I ached with need as I hurried into the bathroom and bent over the sink to remove the plug. I winced as I pulled it free, and was surprised at how good it felt. I was sopping wet, and I had considered begging him to fuck me then and there. He was so amazing, and I noticed that I had begun to have feelings for him. That was dangerous territory.

I couldn’t believe he’d allowed me to arrange a call home, and I was still waiting for Rick to get back to me. I didn’t mind having to go through him as long as I’d get to hear Lindy’s voice and check in on Dad too.

My pussy throbbed, and since I was in the bathroom, I decided to ease the ache myself. What harm could it do, and I was afraid if I didn’t that I’d leave a wet spot on my dress.

I slipped my finger down between my folds, and as soon as I touched my swollen bud, I shuddered and tightened my thighs. The phone rang, and I quickly stopped what I was doing as if I’d been caught, and ran to answer it.

“Hello!” I was out of breath and not from running. My aching had only worsened.

“Hey, Carrie. This is Rick. I’ve got time to make that call for you, and Lindy is on standby. You must have done something sweet to get this kind of privilege.”

By his tone, Rick seemed genuinely surprised.

“We’re getting along great, and he knows my dad is not doing well.” The Dark Prince was turning out to be prince charming.

“Yeah, he really is a nice guy. Okay, here she is.”

“Lindy?”

“Hey, Carrie, are you okay?”

“Yes. I’m perfect. Thanks. I can’t share details, but I’m in one of those magical castles you told me about.”

“No shit? That’s awesome!”

“Yeah, I might just start believing in magic, after all.” I smiled thinking about Chance. He had proven to me what a great guy he could be, and the sex was so amazing I couldn’t wait to get back home just to tell her about it. My little slit clenched thinking about his big cock in me, filling me up in more ways than one. I needed him inside me again, soon.

“Oh, no. You have that sound in your voice.” Lindy made a sound of disapproval. “Don’t lose sight of your goal, friend. You almost sound like a woman in love. That’s only going to lead to heartbreak.”

She was right. I had my father to worry about and needed to keep my eyes on the prize. This time would be shorter than I thought and with just a week to go, I didn’t want things to get too deep. He’d be done with me soon enough.

We ended the call, and Rick was ready with the other to my dad. I talked to him long enough to make sure he was okay and to tell him I was enjoying my trip, which I wasn’t sure he understood. His medicines had him a little loopy, and I hoped that after the treatment he’d be back to his old self.

I ended the call, and before I could go to the bathroom and pick up where I’d left off, I had to get ready for dinner.

An hour later, Chance came in a little late than expected. “I’m sorry. There was some business back home, and I got stuck in a conference call.” He didn’t look happy, but he offered a half-hearted smile and then took my hand.

“It’s okay. I had a little extra time for my hair.” I turned around and showed him the intricate braids I’d done in a coronet style which crowned my head.

“It’s beautiful.” He pulled me close. “You did that yourself?”

“Well, yes, I had to keep my fingers busy.” I pushed my hips forward and ground against him.

He made a growling noise and gripped my ass pulling me closer. “Turned on and tempted?”

I didn’t tell him that I’d tried to cheat and left it at that. “Yes. Very.”

“You weren’t a bad girl, were you?” Something on my face must have given me away, as I was never one to have a poker face. “Mm. I’ll have to punish you later; I was hoping you’d misbehave just so I could.” I wasn’t going to tell him that I hadn’t really had the chance, but if he was so excited about punishing me, I’d gladly take it.

We went to dinner and had a great time. The charming restaurant had some of the best food I’d ever tasted, and Chance made sure I ate more than I wanted.

“You should build your energy. You’ll need it to survive the punishment I have in store.”

I pulled my lip in and shifted in the seat feeling myself grow damp. “What’s your favorite movie?” I asked as a distraction. We’d gone down the list of our favorite things, and it had felt more like an official date than I’d expected to have during my stay.

“I’m not much of a movie fan, but I used to watch the classics with my mother.”

“My favorite movie is a classic. The Philadelphia Story, with Stewart, Grant, and Hepburn. You can’t get better casting than that. And the romance,” I let out a little sigh. “I guess I’ve always liked the ending when they get back together. He knows that she’s his girl and they belong together.”

He leaned in closer. “It sounds like a good one. Maybe we’ll have to see it. I have a private theater back home—”

He looked away, catching himself. There was no back home for us. This was all we had.

He gave me an apologetic look. “I’m sorry. It’s just I find myself so comfortable with you, and I guess the issue back home has me a little aggravated.”

“It’s okay.” I gave him a polite smile and took another bite of my food.

I knew he wouldn’t elaborate, he couldn’t, but it was okay, I understood. The contract was signed, and it was best left alone. We spent the rest of our dinner eating quietly and sitting in awkward silence, and when we got home, he simply curled up beside me in bed and held me until we fell asleep, with no punishment or attempt at sex. I had a feeling whatever had happened back home, had him more than a little bit distracted.

CHAPTER ELEVEN - CHANCE

I felt horrible for leading Carrie on and decided to plan something nice to make it up to her. But first, I’d have to call home and talk to Nate and make sure things were okay. I’d talked to him one minute, and things were going smoothly, but then he’d called later in the day to tell me that our top investors were going to bail over the fact that the environmental codes for the location were not up to standard.

I dialed Nate, fully prepared to have him tell me I had to go home.

“No, you don’t have to leave. I’ll come up there and get you to sign the agreements they drew up. They say that you’ll be one hundred percent responsible if there is any backlash, and that you’ll respect the codes.”

“I’ve already told them that. Did you send the list of updates we plan to make?” I didn’t understand the confusion. “Why would they think that I’m that kind of businessman in the first place?”

“I’ll handle it. I’ll be up later this evening. Don’t let it get you down. Enjoy your day.”

As his voice went quiet and the call ended, I wondered what I could do that would make things better and decided that I’d take Carrie shopping in Paris. She’d said she didn’t have enough clothes and I hated that she’d had to borrow from a friend just to come on the trip.

I hurried to find her and felt horrible that I’d not been giving her the attention I usually gave the others. I searched the castle and wondered where she’d gone off to when I remembered the gallery. I walked across the courtyard and headed that way, only to find her on her way back to the main part of the castle.

“Next time you go, would you please tell me where you are?” I didn’t even know myself anymore. Here I was planning to take her on trips and saying “please.”

“I’m sorry. I didn’t think you’d be done with business this early.”

The day was still young, and I decided to spring the good news.

“I’m taking you to Paris.”

“Paris? Why?”

“For a shopping spree. I insist.” She had already begun shaking her head.

“You don’t have to.”

I took her hand and pulled her closer. “I want to. I’m stressed out, and I’d like to unwind a bit.” I kissed her cheek. “Besides, you have to do everything I say, and I say we spend the day spending my money. I’ll make arrangements, and we’ll be off.”

“I don’t want to be any trouble. I know you already had to get me an expedited passport so I could leave the country, and now arranging a flight just to buy me a new wardrobe when you’ve already provided those beautiful gowns; I can’t accept all of this.”

“You can and you will, besides, you don’t get to refuse me, Carrie. I already owe you a punishment.”

“I didn’t think you wanted to deliver on that.” She put her head down and wrung her hands together.

“I’ve been horrible, haven’t I? I don’t mean to neglect you, angel. I just have had a lot of business to attend to. You go get dressed. I’ll make those arrangements, and we’ll back in time to greet Nate. He’s coming up to see us later tonight.”

“For work?” She narrowed her eyes.

I caught her meaning immediately and frowned. “Did it say anywhere in the contract that you would be sleeping with anyone but me?” I asked, insulted at her insinuation.

She blushed and looked down. “No. I’m sorry,” she said, sounding sincerely apologetic.

Just the thought of another man putting his hands on her had my fists clenching at my sides. Jesus Christ what was happening to me?

I shook my head, trying to calm myself. “Now go put on a nice, short dress for me. I want easy access to your pussy should the urge strike me.”

A slow smile spread her lips. “Okay.” She took a kiss and hurried off to get ready.

An hour later we were in the sky, and she was surprisingly calm for someone who hadn’t flown but once.

Her hand brushed across my thigh, and I took it in mine.

“Thank you,” she said.

“You’re welcome.” I looked in her eyes and leaned in close to kiss her. We were the only ones on the plane other than the pilot, and I decided that I’d like to give her a taste of her punishment while we still had a little time in the air.

I shifted in my seat undid my belt. “Get on your knees.” I tugged her hand, and she slipped down to her knees and nestled in between my thighs. “Now, take it out.”

The blush hit her cheeks as she smiled. “Yes, sir.” She reached into my pants and pulled out my cock. It was already hard, and there was a tiny pearl at the tip which the quickly licked.

“That’s right, my greedy little girl, already going for it. Show me how you worship it.” She fixed her eyes on mine and then kissed its head. Then she trailed her tongue down it nice and slow, licking the veiny flesh and stroking it near the base. “That’s a good girl. Your mouth is so fucking hot. Kiss me.” She rose up, and I leaned forward. Our lips met, my tongue darting inside her mouth against hers, mingling with intent.

I pushed her back down to her knees. “Place it on your tongue.”

She looked down at my cock and placed it on her tongue, keeping her mouth open.

“I’ve been gentle with you so far, haven’t I?”

She nodded, my cock responding with a twitch.

“Do you remember what you did?” She nodded. It made me so hot thinking she’d touched herself, that she’d been so worked up that she couldn’t help it.

“You were a greedy little slut, weren’t you?” She nodded again. “Mm. Show me how greedy you can be.” I let my eyes fall down to my cock as a suggestion, and she closed her mouth on me and began to suck.

She stroked me and sucked in a nice steady rhythm, and I waited for her to take me deeper and get adjusted so I could show her what rough was. Then I slipped my hands behind her head and gripped her hair. She kept puffing, and once she caught her breath and took me deep, I pulled her mouth down all the way on me, my hearty cock slipping down into her throat, causing her to gag. She spasmed and struggled, but I waited until her eyes watered before pulling her away.

I stood and jerked her up, and she grinned at me, knowing that she was about to get it good. “Wipe that smile off your face, and bend over. I need to show you what happens to bad little girls.”

She leaned over into the chair and held on as I got behind her. I thrust my cock into her sopping pussy with one hard thrust, and she cried out so loud I thought the pilot might make an emergency landing. I covered her mouth and leaned down to her ear. “Don’t scream. Be a good girl and take it.” She nodded, and I snaked my arm around her and rubbed her clit, my other hand pulling on the braids in her hair. She moaned and whimpered, and her begging was the hottest sound ever.

I pulled back my hips and began to drive into her, faster and faster, until she was screaming into my hand while the other steadily worked her clit. She lost her balance and stumbled forward, but I pulled her back close, fucking that wet slit so hard until we were clapping against one another. I gripped her hair and pulled it, not slowing at all until she’d come so much she’d all but collapsed beneath me. I pulled out of her and turned her to face me, pushing her down roughly, and she fell to her knees. “Open up.” She closed her eyes, and I gripped her cheeks as I pushed my cock onto her tongue and shot hot streams of cum into her mouth. When I pulled away, she swallowed, and I leaned down and kissed her mouth.

“You’re going to be a good girl now, huh?”

But she shook her head. “Not if that’s what I get for being bad.”

I pulled her into my lap and kissed her as we continued on our flight, and I knew that I’d already grown too close to her to back down now.

CHAPTER TWELVE - CARRIE

We’d had an amazing time on the plane and in Paris, and on the way back, I realized it felt like another date. Not only that, but as much as I’d hoped not to fall for him, I couldn’t help it. I hadn’t ever spent this kind of time with anyone before, and he was so easy to talk to. He’d even gotten a little rougher with me and that had made me feel like a woman, like I wasn’t some delicate little girl, even though he’d been scolding.

We’d made it back in time to greet Nate when he arrived two hours after our return, and though I wished we’d had that time alone, it was nice to see someone from home, as if I’d been in a fantasy and it had brought me back to reality.

Chance had arranged for a late dinner, and I was starving, so we sat down to dine in the large dining hall. The intimate table in the kitchen had been a small bistro style set with two chairs, but this was a massive table that stretched at least twenty feet across the room with chairs that were so large I could barely pull mine forward. Chance had helped me, and as he pushed me forward, Nate had given us a strange look.

“You two seem to be getting along. Are you enjoying your time here, Carrie?” He glanced at Chance who gave him what seemed like a warning glare, and I shifted uncomfortably in my cushioned seat.

“Yes, it’s been a wonderful time, actually.”

He grinned at his friend and Chance quickly filled the silence with conversation. “We’ve spent some time in the gallery across the way. Carrie is an artist, and I told her about my mother.” That seemed to surprise Nate, but he kept his mouth busy with food instead of more chatter, at least until the silence stretched on too long for his comfort.

“So, about that but of business,” Nate said, but Chance held up his hand to cut him off.

“Not now. We’ll talk after I’ve enjoyed my dinner.”

“Yes, sir.” Nate’s sarcastic tone earned an ugly look from Chance, and after a moment the tension in the room grew too heavy for me.

“May I be excused?” I realized I’d asked for permission and wished I could kick my own ass.

Chance smiled up at Nate who looked equally amused. “Of course,” said Chance who pushed back his chair and helped me out of the confines of mine. I got to my feet and he leaned close, his mouth next to my ear. “That’s going to cost you,” he whispered roughly.

I nodded almost imperceptibly, a jolt speeding right to my core, and hurried out to leave the two free to talk business. I wandered the house, my curiosity getting the best of me. I thought back to my “punishment” on the plane, and was almost glad I’d broken another rule at dinner. The more I thought about what the consequences might be, the wetter I became.

I studied the paintings in the rest of the house and found the library. I studied the painting of the young boy who I would have sworn was Chance as a child playing in the rain and splashing in a puddle. I sat on the comfortable lounger and flipped through an old entomology book. I had always loved insects and thought they were fascinating creatures. I was nearly asleep when two voices from a room nearby roused me. I wasn’t trying to eavesdrop, but something caught my ear.

“The other women you’ve brought here surely didn’t get that kind of treatment and most left wanting more. You’re treading on dangerous grounds with that one.” It was Nate’s voice.

“It’ll be fine. I’m prepared to follow the contract if that’s what she wants, but I can’t help it, it’s different. She was a virgin, Nate. What kind of monster would I be if I treated her like all the rest.”

My heart started to race and my stomach turned at the words. Of course, I’d known there’d been others, I wasn’t stupid. Or maybe I was. I’d let myself forget what this was; forget that I wasn’t special. I was just one in a long line.

“I’m just saying, you’ve got a good thing going. Why fuck it up? Because you feel guilty you popped her cherry? You’re swimming in pussy, my friend, is it worth the trade off?”

“I’m not fucking anything up.” Chance’s tone assured me that I was nothing more to him than a piece of ass. I realized I was trapped in the room and the one I’d heard them in, the office, was my only way out. I took a deep breath and hurried out, the entomology book still tight in my grasp as I stormed past them.

“Fuck, do you think she heard?” Nate’s voice carried down the hall, and as I rounded the corner, Chance called after me.

“Carrie! Fuck!” he yelled behind me.

I didn’t stop. I hurried up the stairs leaving them to tend to business or plan his next fucking tryst. I had to sit tight for another few days, and then I would be free with a $100,000 and a tough lesson learned. I didn’t even want to see him. If it hadn’t been for the airfare, I would have left immediately, but I’d be damned if I let him cost me a dime.

I decided to call Rick and arrange another call home.

Twenty minutes later I was on with Lindy, unsure if what we were saying was being recorded. I decided I didn’t care. I needed to tell her what was going on. If Nate could know things, then so could my best friend.

“Are you okay?” Lindy’s voice made me feel even further from home.

“No, I should’ve listened to you.”

The sound of her breath hit the phone as she sighed. “I know it’s bad when you think listening to me was a better option, and I won’t make it worse by saying I told you so.”

“You just did.”

“Yeah, I guess I did.”

“His friend showed up today because of some business situation, and I overheard them talking. The dickhead actually said Chance was “swimming in pussy.” I feel sick, Lindy. I was actually starting to think I was special. Oh my God, I’m so stupid,” I said, a tear slipping down my cheek.

“Oh honey,” was all she could say, her voice full of sympathy.

“Once I’m home, the money will be in my account. I think I’ll go somewhere else. Maybe sell the house as is and move Dad and I somewhere else. I feel like I need a fresh start.”

“Sure, I get it. I’ll meet you at the airport when you get back.”

“Thanks, Lindy. I knew I could count on you.” The tears ran down my cheeks, and I wiped them away angrily. No, I would not cry over him. I would lay back, spread my legs, and earn my money—like all the others. I tried not to vomit as I thought about it.

CHAPTER THIRTEEN - CHANCE

I wasn’t sure how much she’d heard or where her mind was at, but as soon as I was about to go after her, the phone rang. I threw it to Nate on my way out, but he stopped me at the door.

“You’ve got to take this.” I turned to see his narrowed eyes and pinched brows.

I took the phone and saw who was calling. It was no joke. It was our largest investor. “You don’t think that they’ve found out about the environmental claims too?” Now the top three of our investors had taken issue. This problem wasn’t going to go away anytime soon.

“You better answer that and find out.”

I was the only one who ever handled this particular company, so I swiped at my phone’s screen and walked to the corner of the room to take the call.

“Hey, Peter.” Peter Proctor was not an easy-going guy. The old man was so uptight that I expected him to stroke out at any given time. He had a reputation as a hard hitter and someone who dropped clients quicker than a Tyson left hook. When he said jump, you either asked how high or looked for a cliff.

“I want to see you, and I want to discuss this new location. I’ll have my environmental group inspect it and depending on my findings, I’m either in or out,” he barked into the phone. So far for making small talk.

“I can arrange something next week—”

“Next week? Are you shitting me, boy?” Peter’s voice was so loud I could hold the phone away and hear every word. The fact that we were two seconds into the call and he had already called me boy, was a good sign that I was in trouble. “I’ll see you first thing in the morning.”

“I’m in Ireland.” I left him to do the math.

“Then I’ll see you the day after!” The phone went dead, and I walked back to the desk where I’d sat with Nate and plopped down in my chair.

“So, that didn’t go well.”

“Did he say he’d meet us in New York?” He had overheard the loud man’s voice across the room.

“Yeah, we leave tomorrow.” I raked my hand through my hair and downed my drink. “I’ve got to go talk to Carrie.”

“Good luck. She’ll be shitty company on the way home.” He let out a breath and got to his feet.

“I’m not taking her with us. I’ll do a turnaround and finish out the last few days with her.” I would go upstairs and talk to her and break the news. But first I’d have to explain to her what she overheard. I was sure she’d caught on that I had feelings for her, and it was obvious that wasn’t what she’d signed up for.

I headed upstairs and found her in bed. She rolled over as I approached, and I sat at the foot of the bed and let out a breath. “I’m sorry. I know this isn’t what you signed up for.”

“No, it’s not. I’m tired.”

“I came to tell you that I have to roll out in the morning. I wish I could stay, and I won’t be gone long, but I have a meeting in New York. I’ll have the staff look out for you, and I’ll be back before it’s time for you to leave.” I reached out and touched her leg, and she didn’t respond.

“Whatever. It’s not like the contract assures you stay here. So, go.” Her tone was sharp, and she turned her eyes back to the wall.

Something inside me shifted, the alpha asshole stepping in, the rejection more than I could handle. “I don’t think I like your attitude.” I was struggling to keep some sort of a hold on her, unable to let her go just yet. I said the only thing that I could think of. “Let me remind you that you’re still under contract.”

“I’m aware. I’m not refusing.” She gave me a narrowed glare around her shoulder. “Far be it from me to be uncooperative. It’s just sex, right?”

My heart thudded in my chest. So, she’d heard. Fuck. But that meant she’d heard about my feelings too. Obviously, she didn’t reciprocate. Now I was angry. “I’ve had enough of the tone, point made.” I would show her what it’s like to just have sex. To be used and uncared for. I cleared my throat. “Get to your feet.”

She glanced over her shoulder, and I could tell that my tone had shocked her. I’d deliberately made my voice harsh. She sat up slowly and stood beside the bed, so I moved on her quickly, and she held her arms up protectively as I got in her face and looked down at her with a snarl. “So, it’s just sex? If that’s how you want it then far be it from me to give you more. Get on your knees.”

She lifted her chin defiantly. “Yes, sir.” She knelt and glared up at me with hate in her eyes. They burned through me, and I knew something had shifted between us, and I hated it. She reached for my pants and unzipped them, and then wasted no time taking my cock out. She licked her hand and then gripped my cock tight, working it from my head to the base and back.

“Suck it,” I growled.

She stuck out her tongue and licked me from my balls to the rim of my head, and then she popped it into her mouth, sucking so hard I grit my teeth. Then she relaxed her throat and took me deeper.

I thrust my hips and held the top of her head. I pushed my throbbing shaft into her throat and worked my hips, feeling my head pop in and out of her tonsils. She put up a brave front and took what I had to dish out with little gagging, so I pulled out and jerked her up by her arm. I was still gentler than I had been with anyone else, because in reality I didn’t want to hurt her. I was already in way over my head and deeper than she wanted me to be.

“You want me to fuck you hard? That’s what you want, huh? Tell me. Tell me it’s just sex.” I pushed her back on the bed, and she nodded.

“Yes, Chance. Fuck me hard.” She rolled over and put her ass up in the air, and I growled. She looked over her shoulder at me and I saw contempt in her eyes. But wait, there was something else too. It was buried deep, but it was there. She was excited.

“You want something in that tight hole?” I asked.

“That’s all you have left to take. Take it; you’ve more than paid for your whore.”

Hearing her regard herself as my whore was a total turn on, but there was something to the edge of her voice. I played it safe.

I gripped her hair, which she had tied up into a ponytail and wound my hand in it. I centered my cock at her sopping wet pussy and thrust inside her hard. She screamed out and I thrust harder, fucking her so hard that her tits slapped together. I reached around and rubbed her slick little mound, listening to her whimper through her pleasure as she clenched on my cock. “Mm. Come on my cock, Carrie. Soak me with that juicy pussy,” I said, slapping her ass and leaving a pink streak on one perfect cheek.

Her body collapsed beneath me, her entire front, face-planting into the bed as she weakened. The pleasure on her face was so intense as she turned her head to the side with her little ass still in the air for me to pound that pussy, I knew I had to lighten up on her. She’d wanted to play rough, but I cared too much not to be tender. I slowed my pace and pulled her up so I could lay behind her. I gathered her close and slipped my cock back into her soaked channel, and I kissed her neck and held her, wanting nothing more than to stay like that forever. If only she’d wanted the same.

CHAPTER FOURTEEN - CARRIE

I couldn’t believe how rough he was being and how much I liked it. I had not only fallen for him, but I’d turned into the wanton whore he wanted me to be. Just like all the others.

I hated that it felt so good, that sex with him was something I’d miss, but I couldn’t afford to back out of my contract. At least I got the full experience from him, and I figured by the time I left, he’d take my ass too.

I had thought he had the best intentions with me, considering how he’d been, but now I realized that he saw me as less, some inexperienced little girl and not up to the same standards as the others. So, what if I didn’t have experience? I had wanted so badly to show him that it didn’t matter but I’d ended up running out of energy. He had me down on the bed curled in a whimpering ball as he ground his cock into me from behind. It felt amazing, and I wanted to close my eyes and imagine us that way forever. But I knew it was not meant to be. When I’d thought that I was some special choice, that this was something he was trying because he found normal relationships boring or a threat, I had been okay with it. But knowing I was one of many, just another hole to use, bought and paid for, I felt cheap. Not special. Not chosen.

“Does it feel good, angel?” The words at my shoulder brought tears to my eyes and anger through my veins as my blood pumped faster.

I controlled my temper. “Yes.”

“I’m sorry I have to go away. I know it doesn’t matter much to you now, but I really wanted us to have more time.” I considered what he was saying. More time? To do what? Pretend we were a couple, to take me on shopping trips and buy me things so he could make me think he cared? I wanted to knee him in the dick, but I was too busy enjoying the feel of it working me close to another release. I was glad my back was to him. I didn’t want him to know how much I liked it. But then another orgasm came, causing me to hiccup a sound of pleasure and to tighten around him, trembling with my release.

“Mm. I love the way you milk it. You’re still so tight. I want to come inside you.”

I wanted him to. I loved the way it felt and somehow knowing he was leaving a part of himself behind had meant something to me before. Now it seemed like too much, too personal.

“Please, don’t.” I was shocked as the words fell from my lips without thinking.

“Where do you want it?” He kissed my ear and chills went down my neck and shoulder all the way to my hip.

I didn’t know what to say. I was near tears and angry that he was about to leave me all alone in his stupid castle with no one but staff, who were damned near invisible. “I don’t care, but not inside me.” My voice broke as tears spilled down my cheeks and he stilled behind me.

“Carrie?” He pulled away and tried to roll me toward him, but I fought against him with my eyes closed tight. I didn’t want to look at him; I didn’t want to see his face ever again.

I wished I could open my eyes and be back in Nebraska, and that this had all been a terrible dream. But there was no such magic here.

“Look at me, Carrie. Talk to me.”

“Why, do your other women talk to you, cry for you?” I didn’t want to be like all the rest. “I thought you wanted this.” He pressed his lips against my shoulder and held me. “I’m sorry if I hurt you.”

“How many women have you brought here?”

“Carrie…” he started, his voice cautious.

“Tell me, Chance. I’m one of how many? Dozens? I mean, because you’re ‘swimming in pussy’ right?” I couldn’t help myself.

He took a deep breath behind me. “So, you did overhear?” he said quietly.

“It’s not like you two were being quiet,” I answered.

“Then you heard me say that I you were different,” he said, turning me to face him.

“I heard you say you weren’t going to fuck up the good thing you had going because of me,” I said, refusing to meet his eyes.

He sighed and rubbed a hand over his face. “That was for Nate’s benefit. I didn’t like that he was pushing me, and honestly, Carrie, this is all new to me.”

“What, fucking a virgin?” I spit.

“Stop that,” he said, sharply. It’s different with you, Carrie.”

“So different that you’re holding me to my contract, instead of taking me home with you and treating me like an actual human being?”

For once, he didn’t have an answer, and I could actually feel my heart breaking.

“I don’t know how to do this Carrie. I’ve never felt like this before,” he said quietly.

Determined not to let myself get sucked back into his emotional immaturity, I steele myself and said the most insulting thing I could think of. “And you’ve had enough practice at to know, haven’t you?”

He opened his mouth to say something, but then closed it again without a word. A brief flash of pain shown in his blue eyes and he rolled over and got out of bed.

I watched him walk to the shower, fighting the urge to cry until he had shut the bathroom door behind himself. Once I heard the click of the lock, I let it all out, sobbing into my pillow until I fell asleep.

When I woke in the morning, Chance was gone.

CHAPTER FIFTEEN - CHANCE

Things had been a disaster since leaving Ireland. I had gotten caught up in a delay on Proctor’s end and ended up finishing out the week in New York. I had tried to talk to Carrie a few times to apologize and check in, but her distance didn’t have anything to do with the miles between us.

I had just tried to call her again when there came a knock at the door. I crossed the room, listening to the endless series of rings as I let Nate in. He was going to fly over to Nebraska and meet with the environmental team.

I gave up the call and tossed the phone to the couch where it bounced off and hit the rug. “She’s not answering. The deadline is close, and by the time I get there, I’ll only have a few more hours with her. Not that it’ll matter.”

“I’m sorry, man. Proctor’s an ass. All of that jumping through hoops and he’s still threatening to back out on the deal.”

I had to face facts that the deal might fall through. I put my team to work, but that is what took all my extra time.

“Right now, man, I’m more concerned with Carrie. If I don’t get back to her, I may never see her again.”

“Just go to the diner,” Nate offered.

“I signed a contract saying I wouldn’t go after her at the end of the deal.”

“So what, man? You’re in love with her, right? You have to be if you’re more concerned about her than your business deal. You’ve never let anyone get in the way.”

He was right; I hadn’t. I had lost relationships before over business, and I’d never gone after one of my contract women. I was content to let them all go, as there had been nothing special about any of them, until Carrie. I wouldn’t lose her.

“She’s different. She’s smart and caring and has her priorities in line. She’s been through a lot too, and I want to make life better for her. She deserves it.”

“Isn’t that what the hundred thousand will do?”

“It’s not enough. Not for me. I want her.” I gathered up my things, and we headed down to the car. I tried to call her again, still to no avail.

Minutes later we arrived at the airport. Nate clapped me on the shoulder as the driver took our luggage out of the trunk. “I’ll make sure this deal goes through, my friend.” His plane was leaving twenty minutes after mine, so we walked toward my plane only to be cut off by the pilot, Lou, who came out to meet me.

“We’ve got a delay. There’s a huge storm over the Atlantic.”

“How long are we looking at? I have to get to Ireland before midnight.”

“You won’t make it there before tomorrow morning, and that’s if you’re lucky. This is a big one.” Lou scratched his head and walked away.

“Dammit.” I grabbed the phone and dialed Carrie. It rang and rang.

Nate shook his head. “Wish there was something I could do, man.”

“I will call Rick. He’s the one who will meet her when it’s time to leave. Maybe he didn’t get his flight either.” I dialed Rick who answered with a chipper tone.

“Hey, Chance. How’s it hanging, buddy? You’ll be glad to know I’m in sunny Ireland looking for rainbows.”

“Fuck!” The word flew from my lips and Nate made a face and turned away. “No, I’m not glad to hear it. I was hoping you’d be delayed. I’m still in New York. I was going to try and be back in time to see Carrie, but I can’t get her on the phone. Can you contact her and ask her to answer? Or can you would just keep her there until I get there?” I was desperate, and I hoped it was apparent in my tone.

“Ah, you want me to break the agreement?” His voice lowered, and he whistled. “May I ask why?”

“Because I don’t want her to leave before I get a chance to talk to her.” I didn’t know why it mattered to him either way.

“Yeah, um, about that. I’m not going to be able to help you. It’s not my place to break the contractual agreement, and it’s your obligation to follow through on your end of the bargain.”

I knew all of that, but he was missing my point.

“No shit, but I need your help. I have to be able to talk to her, and my plane is not going to be there in time, so I want you to stall her.” I’d paid Rick thousands of dollars to work for me and set up these arrangements, not to mention I’d known him since he was a kid and had given him a leg up when no one else would. He owed me.

“No can do, friend. It’s legal and binding. I’m not getting sued or being charged with unlawful imprisonment. But, I will tell her you called and give her a message. If she then chooses to reach you, I’ll have her call, but if not, there’s nothing else can do, I’m sorry.”

I knew what he was saying was right, but I was growing increasingly desperate. “Look, just do me this one favor, man. I’ll take the heat.”

“Do you know how many times one of your women have begged me for info on you? What if I had given in? Where would you be? There’s a reason I play by the rules, and I’m afraid that you have to as well. It’s only fair.”

“Just tell her it’s important!” I slammed down the phone and kicked my suitcase, sending it skidding across the tarmac.

Lou walked up with a frown. “I checked the weather; I can probably get you there by four a.m.”

“That’ll be too late. I may as well stay here in New York and hope that she calls.” I looked at the driver who was standing by the car with his hands resting behind his back. “Could you please take me back home?”

“Fly out to Nebraska with me. We’ll meet her at Angelo’s,” Nate offered.

I thought about it for precisely one second before nodding. “Yeah, I’ll do that.” This way, Rick was not on the hook for breaking the contract.

Nate and I boarded the plane and I spent the whole flight thinking about how to make things right with Carrie. I knew that she was pissed and hurt when I left and that was why she had lashed out. It had only proven to me that she had feelings for me too. Otherwise, she wouldn’t have been so angry. It gave me hope that I could get through to her and find a way to make this work.

I could see us together for the long haul. Each leaning on each other for comfort and strength, and having the best sex on earth in the process. I had lots more tricks up my sleeve all for her.

Every time I thought of how rough I’d gotten that last time, I cringed. I wasn’t so sure she’d been playing along, and even if she had been, I wanted more than someone playing a part. I hated that I’d made her do that. Role play was only good when both parties expected it.

I had never considered that I’d fall for her, but it wasn’t so terrible now that I was pretty sure she was feeling the same way. I just had to convince her that I wasn’t damaged goods, and that I could make her happy.

I hated to wait days to see her, but I knew she was due back at Angelo’s first thing Monday morning, so I would go there if I had to. Money or not, she wouldn’t quit her job, not when she was using the bulk of her payoff for hospital expenses. I just had to bide my time until she went back to work.

As we landed on Nebraska soil, I called her one more time, hoping against hope that she’d answer, but she didn’t. By the time we got to the hotel and checked in, I’d hoped to hear something, but I didn’t. There was nothing I could do but watch the clock and hope for a miracle.

CHAPTER SIXTEEN - CARRIE

The past few days had been hell. Lindy had met me at the airport and had driven me straight to the home so I could see my father. I spent a few hours there, sleeping in the chair, but it felt nice to be near him.

I’d gone home on Sunday to unpack and settle in, and I left only long enough to buy groceries for the week. The money had been wired to my account, so there was no waiting and Rick had me check the status of my account before he left. He’d also told me about Chance trying to reach me.

He had tried to convince me that Chance really wanted to see me, but I felt that if that were the truth, he would have taken me along with him to New York, or at least had the decency to come back when he said he would. By leaving me there all alone, he’d shown me that I was nothing more than a throwaway, like his others.

There was only one way that he would find me, and that’s if he showed up to the diner, but I wouldn’t be there. I’d called Lindy over, and the two of us sat on my back patio and talked about my plans.

“Are you sure you want to quit? I mean, I wouldn’t let this guy run you off from a perfectly good job. You know how hard it is to find something. Besides, wasn’t it in the contract that he wouldn’t try to contact you after?” I knew that Lindy didn’t want me to leave her hanging, but my mind was made up.

“I just can’t take the chance, Lindy. Besides, I have enough money now for my father’s surgery and to live comfortably for a bit while I find something else. Besides, I’ve been thinking that I’d like to enroll in school.”

“I can understand that you don’t want to see him again. Are you sure he can’t find you?”

“He doesn’t know my last name and the only link is to the diner. I doubt he’ll come around anyway. He got what he wanted.” Visions of him taking me over and over with his large cock caused an ache between my legs. I didn’t think I’d ever have something that special again; and it hadn’t even been real.

“If he does show?” She met my eyes. “I need you to tell me what you want me to do.”

“I want you to tell him to get lost and that I don’t want to see him. He doesn’t care about me. Not the same way I care about him and not the way I need him to. I was falling in love, Lindy.” I pulled my lips into a tight line and held my breath. It was all I could do to keep from crying. I hated admitting it out loud.

“I know. Men suck sometimes, but there are some good ones too. Look at your sweet father. You’ll get past this, and you’ll find someone to love you as he does. I’m sure of it.” Her comforting was sweet, but it did little to soothe my aching heart. The only thing that could do that was knowing Chance loved me and wanted me too.

I wiped the tears that escaped. “I just wish he’d been interested in me for real. I had been so flattered. I must have looked like an easy mark: the stupid little small-town waitress. I gave him my virginity. There’s no telling how many other women he’s made feel the same way.”

She nodded sympathetically. “Don’t call yourself stupid, Carrie. He was charismatic. Anyone would have fallen for it.”

I nodded and then decided I needed to change the subject.

“I’d like to learn more about this procedure and set it up. I’d like Dad to be home for the holidays. I know Dr. Ross had said that scheduling wouldn’t be an issue since the surgery doesn’t take long.”

“That sounds hopeful.” She knew how long I’d wanted to do the surgery and to have my dad back home.

“Yeah, I’m glad something does.”

We sat a while just visiting and when she left she promised that she would not tell Chance anything if he came by. I planned to call our boss in the early morning and tell him I had to quit, and Lindy had already prepared to take the shift so they wouldn’t be left hanging.

I had handed in my phone and when Rick asked if there was any final message I’d like to give Chance, I’d shaken my head. But now as I sat there I wish I’d told him how I felt and had him pass the message along. In a way, I wanted him to know he’d hurt me, but in another, I didn’t want him to know how much. I also thought that many other messages I could have left, but knew it was not good to sit and think of what should or could have been. I needed to move on with my life and try to make things better for my situation as well as my father’s. He had to be my number one priority and Chance needed to be history.

I hadn’t bothered to take any of the clothes that he’d bought me in Paris, or the dresses that he’d left in the closet. I knew those were things that he’d given the others, and I didn’t want to be anything more like them. If I didn’t need the hundred thousand so badly I’d have thrown it all in his face, but I had more than earned that money.

I soaked in the tub, and got ready for bed, hoping that things would be better once I got through the next day. Maybe in time, I could put Chance behind me, and the memories of him would fade.

CHAPTER SEVENTEEN - CHANCE

Waiting on Monday to come had been hell, and I had sat in Angelo’s for a few hours Sunday hoping to see her friend Lindy.

I woke up late and cursed, seeing that the diner had opened two hours ago. I needed to check and see if she’d shown up for her morning shift and if not when she might be in.

“Are you heading out again?” Nate sipped his coffee and stared at his phone.

“Yes, and I hope to see her today. I’ll bribe Lindy if I have to just to get a moment with her.”

“That might not be wise; you know how women are protective of one another.”

“I’m sure a five-thousand-dollar tip will buy me what I need, especially when I explain that I’m in love with her.” I was going to march right in and declare that fact the moment I saw her. I’d played it out in my head a thousand times the night and day before. She’d be in that sexy waitress uniform, with her hair in that messy bun, and I’d walk right up and kiss her, or maybe she’d be so excited, we’d run to each other. It seemed like a cheesy love scene in a B movie, but I’d take it.

“You might piss her off. What if she just wants to be left alone? The billionaire status intimidates some people, you know. Some people are not impressed by it, and you already admitted she’s special and not like the others.”

“Thanks for the ounce of hope, friend.” I grabbed my phone off the table where it had charged through the night and then went to my room to grab my shoes.

“I’m not trying to be a downer man, but I just think if she didn’t jump at the chance to talk to you when Rick told her you wanted to, then she might not be so easily won. She’s got a lot on her plate.”

“I know, and I’d like to help her with it. Is that so wrong?”

“Just promise me this, Chance; if you strike out again, this will be the end of the chase?”

“I promise. But I’m not striking out. And it doesn’t count until I see her and she tells me for herself that it’s over.”

“Deal. Good luck, my friend.” He returned to his phone, and I heard the sound of a game loading its obnoxious music as I headed out.

I took off to the diner, hoping that I hadn’t missed an early morning shift change. When I walked in and caught a glimpse of Lindy’s smiling profile as she refilled a customer’s coffee cup, I breathed a sigh of relief. I glanced around, hoping to see Carrie, but she wasn’t there unless she was in the back.

I stood by the door until Lindy finished tending the table, when she turned around her eyes widened as she saw me.

“If you’re here to see her, she quit. First thing this morning.” She popped her gum and returned the coffee pot to the station as I followed her to the bar.

“I just need to talk to her, Lindy. Could you please help me?”

“What is it, sweetie? Do you think there’s a piece of her heart you left unbroken? Back to finish the job?” She turned and grabbed an order, and I waited until she dropped it on the table and as she made her way past she paused in front of me. “Sit and order or get the hell out.”

I decided to sit and order. A young, red head came across with a pad and pencil and leaned against the table. “Can I get you something?”

“Yes, I want Lindy to wait on me.” I gestured to her, and she turned and shook her head.

“I got him, honey. You can take the couple at four.” She sauntered up and took out her pad. “You look like a hungry man, what can I get you?”

“Carrie’s last name.” I met her stare, and she rolled her eyes.

“Look, I promised her that if you happened to show up here, I’d send you packing.”

“I love her!” I had blurted it out and a bit louder than I’d expected. Everyone around us got quiet and exchanged looks.

“You what?” That grabbed her attention.

“I know, it wasn’t part of the deal, but I’ve been sick without her, and I’ve tried to get back to her, but the meetings went long, and the plane was delayed. I should have brought her with me; I should have explained, I—”

“Slow down, Chance.” She motioned to me that I needed to lower my voice. “If you love her and she’s in love with you, then what’s the problem? She’s been so upset.” She gave me a narrowed glance. “Tell me what happened.”

I explained what happened to her, leaving out the graphic detail and by the end, she was holding my hand. “Shit. She thought you didn’t care. What about all those other women?”

“I had my arrangements, yes, but I have never fallen for any of them. She’s special. I have to see her, please. Could you help me?” If I had to get on my hands and knees and kiss her feet, I would have, but after a moment with her hand to her mouth, as she quietly contemplated, she nodded.

“Okay. I’ll help you. But if this blows up in my face, I’m kicking your ass. And if you hurt her, I’m kicking your ass. Do you feel me, money bags?”

I believed her.

“Yes, thank you. You won’t regret this.”

“I told her I was right,” she said shaking her head as she went to refill a man’s coffee. She waited on a few of her other tables, refilling drinks, grabbing extra napkins, and leaving their check, and then she returned to my table.

“What did you mean by that? That you told her you were right?”

“I don’t know if you know this or not, but Carrie doesn’t believe in miracles, magic, or dreams coming true. She’s quite the doubting Thomas. The day you walked through that door, she had just said that she needed a miracle. Do you know that you were supposed to be my table, but I conceded to her because I thought that was a sign?”

I had no idea.

“You’re right. So, will you tell me where she lives?”

“Not so fast. I don’t mind helping and giving her a call, but I’m not about to give you her name and address. I’ll call her in and tell her the boss needs to see her about quitting. She’ll come in. She won’t like leaving something unresolved. That’s when you can see her. And I suggest you don’t waste any time telling her, because she’s going to be pretty pissed off at us both to see you sitting here.” She shook her head, and with a deep breath she pulled out her phone. After a moment, she met my eyes.

“She’ll be here in twenty.” She took her pen and pad and waited for me to order. I knew by the look on her face; I shouldn’t refuse.

“Bring me the waffles, two eggs on the sunny side, and juice.”

“And some maple bacon, of course?” She lifted a brow, and I nodded. “Trust me. It’s her favorite. If she tries to run screaming, you can always wave it in front of her, and she’ll follow you right home.”

She turned to go put the order in, and I sat in the booth, tapping my foot and wiping my sweaty hands on my jeans. I hadn’t been that nervous in ages. Not for anyone or any situation, but this was my last chance. If she said no, I’d have to give it up like I’d promised Nate.

My nerves only got worse as I waited, and when Lindy brought my food, I let out a long sigh. “She should be here by now.”

“Patience, she went to her dad’s home to drop off a plant. You can wait, can’t you?”

“As long as it takes.” I unwrapped my fork from the napkin covering it and dug into my waffles. The maple bacon smelled wonderful, and as soon as I had my mouth good and full, my phone rang.

I dropped my fork and answered when I saw it was Nate. “What?”

Nate seemed out of breath. “I need you to get down here, man. Proctor is on a tear, and he wants to see you. I messed up and told him you were in town.”

“Tell him I’m not. That I left. I can’t come right now!” I ducked toward the wall next to my booth and raised my voice, and when I peeked over my shoulder, Lindy was watching.

“Don’t do this to me, man. You’re the only one he deals with for a reason.” Nate’s voice was uneasy on the other end.

“Stop being a pussy and tell him to fucking wait! I don’t have time to kiss his ass right now. She’s on her way, and I’m not leaving!” I couldn’t believe this was happening, but I wasn’t going to miss her, not even for the millions at risk. I knew I could kiss them goodbye. I slammed down the phone and let out a long breath. I couldn’t believe I’d flipped out like that, but damn. Lindy walked over and refilled my juice.

“Sounds like problems in paradise.”

“If you mean the sound of me losing millions of dollars, yes. But I’m not leaving, so please tell me you really called her.”

“I did, I promise. Are you really losing millions?”

“As we speak. It’s okay; I make them by the minute. But I’d really wanted that deal to go through. It could mean a lot of jobs for this community.”

“You know, you don’t sound so bad. I hope it works out.” She looked up as the bells chimed on the door and then she gave me a wink. “Good luck.” She nodded, and I turned to see Carrie at the door. She spotted me, but Lindy was already on her way, begging her to trust her and just to hear me out.

After some convincing, she came across the room, and I released a long-held breath, praying if she turned me down, I’d never take another.

CHAPTER EIGHTEEN - CARRIE

Chance stared at me across the room as I deliberated on fleeing or trusting my best friend. She’d never gone against my wishes before unless she’d had a good reason, and she’s always had my best interest at heart.

“What’s he doing here?” I folded my arms knowing now that the boss hadn’t called me in to talk. I’d assumed I was coming down to hear him beg me back, and instead, there was Chance to say his piece.

“Just listen to him.” She took my arm and walked me to the table. “Oh, and I was right,” she whispered in my ear.

“I don’t have anything to say.” I leaned against the booth and looked out the window.

“Sit. You know we don’t like no standing around in Angelo’s diner.” Lindy encouraged me to take a seat, which I did. “Look, he’s got your favorite. I bet he gives you a bite.” She met my eyes, and I was less than impressed.

He leaned in closer. “Please, Carrie. I tried to get back in time, but it didn’t work out.”

Lindy walked over from where she’d been listening and leaned in. “No time for small talk,” she rolled her hand as if telling him to hurry up.

The two exchanged a glance, and he nodded. I didn’t know when the two had become so chummy, but it was obvious that his charms had her mesmerized.

Without warning, Chance reached across the table and took my hand. “I love you.”

I jerked my hands away and shook my head. “Nice one. But I don’t think so.” He looked crushed, and as I saw the pain in his eyes, I couldn’t help but think he was serious.

“I know I messed up, Carrie, but I’m here, and I want you to know that you changed me. You made me want something that I haven’t wanted in ages, and that’s a real relationship.” He raked his hand through his dark hair and let out a breath. “I’m begging you for a chance. Lindy said you were heartbroken and I want you to know, I’d never do that intentionally. I thought you didn’t want more than the contract agreement.”

I didn’t even know what to say, and I wasn’t sure the words were even registering. I’d stopped hearing everything after I love you.

“I love you too.” I wasn’t sure where the words were coming from, or how I’d managed to speak them, but he practically crawled over the table to kiss me.

His lips crushed against mine and suddenly everyone in Angelo’s was clapping and cheering, including Lindy who had tears in her eyes.

I pulled away, and my cheeks reddened.

Lindy pointed to the parking lot. “Friends of yours?” she asked Chance.

I looked over to see Nate getting out of a car with a short, portly man whose face was so red that he looked like steam might billow out at any moment. They had to be looking for Chance, and as he got to his feet, the two came in.

Chance stood and greeted the angry one. “How are you, Peter?”

“Wondering why I’m down the road bothering with your deal when you’re here chatting it up with the wait staff and eating waffles.” He took out a handkerchief and wiped his brow. “What’s more important than our money, boy?”

Chance was not amused by the endearment, and he stood and squared his shoulders, looking down his nose at the man as he took my hand and pulled me up to stand beside him. “I’d like you to meet Carrie. She’s who’s more important. So, if you’ve come down here to put me in my place or threaten to take your money and run, all I’ve got to say is get moving. But you’ll miss out on a great opportunity to help the people of this community.”

The old man looked around at the eyes on him, most who were upset that he’d killed the tender moment between the handsome stranger and their favorite waitress and his face reddened, this time with embarrassment.

“It’s nice to meet you.” I put my hand out, and he took it, offering a half smile.

“Pleasure.” He glanced toward Lindy who stood with her arms folded in front of her and a sly grin on her face.

Then the order bell rang, and Joe shouted, “Order up,” returning the energy back to normal.

The portly man extended his hand toward Chance and then glanced down to the table. “Is that waffles with maple bacon?”

Lindy stepped up with her order pad. “They’re a house favorite, can I get you some?”

The old man sat in my empty seat and rattled off his order, and Nate sat with him looking like he wasn’t sure what was happening.

Chance pulled me close and kissed me again, causing my heart to do another flip. “Why didn’t you tell me sooner?” I whispered in his ear as we took another booth.

“I didn’t think you wanted more. You’re strong, and I love the way you want to take care of your father, but I thought that was all that mattered to you, I didn’t think you’d have room for me.” He lifted his shoulder as he squeezed my hand.

“He’s getting his surgery, thanks to you. I called the specialist earlier.” I had hoped I’d be able to share that news with him, and by some miracle I had. Lindy had been right all along.

“That’s not thanks to me, Carrie. You’re the one who was willing to do what it took. But I’m glad you did. I haven’t felt like this before. I want you by my side. I want to take care of you for a change.” He stroked my hair and tucked a stray hair behind my ear. “Will you let me?”

“I’m not sure I can get used to that.” I had always been the one to wait on others and tend to them, and I hadn’t ever had anyone do that kind of thing for me. Not even my stepmother.

“Do you want to try?” He looked at me with hopeful eyes.

“Yes—”

His mouth was on mine before I had a chance to finish the word, and I couldn’t believe that this was all happening for us.

He pulled away and met my eyes. “I want to go meet your father. I’d like to ask his permission to date you.”

“I’m sure he’ll like that. You want to go right now?” I had left my father on the way over, and he’d been in good spirits, and we’d had a good conversation. “Just remember, if he asks, I met you on a girl’s weekend with Lindy. I’d rather him not know.”

“Yeah, me too.” We shared a laugh, and he called Lindy for his check then the two of us headed out to his car where we climbed in back and gave the driver directions to the home. Then as we shut the tinted glass, he pulled me close.

“God, I’ve missed you.” He buried his nose in my hair and inhaled deeply. “You’re scent, your taste.” He kissed me, planting a soft peck on my lips. “I can’t wait to be inside you again.” His words sent chills up my spine and neck and I met his eyes and placed my hand on his thigh.

“Why wait?” His eyes widened, and he grinned, and suddenly his hand was on mine, bringing it against the huge erection in his pants.

“How long will take us to get there?” he asked.

Nothing was far in Viola, Nebraska.

“Long enough if you’re into quickies,” I teased.

He took my free hand and kissed it and shook his head. “Oh, no. When I have you next, I want to take you nice and slow.” He slipped his hands between my legs and rubbed against my mound. The memory of the two of us together that last time, when I was so confused, and the misunderstanding hung over us came back to me, heating me in my most private places.

I squeezed my knees and moaned. “I can’t wait.” I kissed him, and we stroked one another a little longer until we were both turned on, and I was soaked.

By the time we prepared to meet my father, we’d calmed down. But I couldn’t wait to get him alone.

“This is where your father stays?” He asked with his brow raised. I felt a little bad knowing it wasn’t the best facility, but he stopped me and met my eyes.

“I can hire him a nurse, Carrie. I’d like for you to be able to take him home from here.” My heart raced, and I kissed his mouth. It was all I’d ever wanted, was to be able to afford care. Now, not only would he have the surgery, but he’d have care. As quickly as the thoughts sank in, I realized I couldn’t accept the offer.

“I can’t let you do that, Chance. It wouldn’t be right to ask you to do that for us.”

“You didn’t ask, and neither am I.” His eyes narrowed, and suddenly the Dark Prince stood before me. “You’ll be a good little girl and do as I say.” His lips curled in the corner as a smile spread mine and I leaned in close where no one could hear me respond.

“Yes, sir.”

I knew better than to argue with him when it came to taking care of me, and now he’d be sure to look after my father too, whether I wanted it or not, and how could I complain? I’d do anything for my dad.

“Good girl,” he whispered in my ear, and as the chills spread across my flesh, we hurried down the hallway to my father’s room and knocked on his door. And his face lit with surprise as I pushed the door open and peeked inside.

The blush rushed to my cheeks. I’d never brought anyone to meet my father before, especially someone I cared so much about. But then again, I’d never been in love until now.

CHAPTER NINETEEN - CHANCE

I’d never asked a man for permission to date his daughter, and the more I thought about it, as we walked toward her father’s door, I’d only taken the time to meet a few.

Carrie had awakened a part of me though, a part that wanted to do things right. I wanted to take care of her and make sure that she never wanted for anything. I had the money to do it too. All that time I’d brought those women to my castle, it was on my terms. My way. But it wasn’t about my needs anymore. She’d taught me that.

We stopped outside a door in the hall of the assisted living home, and Carrie knocked. “Hey, Daddy?” She pushed the door open, and I was surprised to find the man on the other side of the door had her eyes. He was also much younger than I’d expected. He wasn’t in the home for his age, though, and by the gray color of his pallid skin, I could tell he needed care.

“What’s happening, Ladybug?” Her father’s eyes lit up as I entered behind her. “To what do I owe two visits in such a short morning?” He raised his bed higher to a sitting position.

“Daddy, I wanted you to meet Chance.”

Her eyes met mine with a wide, blank look and I realized she still didn’t know my last name. “Chance Stevens,” I said, extending my hand.

“This is my father, Brent Chase.”

He gripped my hand with all his strength, and he had a pretty mean grip for someone who seemed so frail. “Pleasure to meet you, sir. Are you a doctor?” Her father looked back and forth at us with narrowed eyes and a lot of uncertainty in his voice.

“No, Daddy. Chance and I are dating.” She glanced at me as if to say now’s your chance .

“I wanted to meet you to ask if I may have permission to date your daughter, actually.”

“We met while Lindy and I were away.” She pulled her lips into a tight line as if she hated lying to father, but truly it was best.

“Well, that’s wonderful, and I’m sure if my daughter sees you’re worthy, then you’re all right with me.” He offered his hand again, and we shook as if making a bargain.

“He’s very worthy, Daddy.” She sat beside her father and took his hand. “He’s opening a business here in town that will employ hundreds of people.”

“That’s wonderful, and just what this town needs. We’ve grown a lot lately. This facility is one of the newer additions.” I looked around at his room, and while it was a nice facility, it just seemed a bit depressing.

“You know, Mr. Chase, I have a home in New York, and well, Carrie told me a little about your condition, and I’d like to offer you a place to stay there, closer to the city where you could get better care.”

“And I talked to the doctor; the procedure is being arranged.” Carrie smiled proudly.

“But that’s so much money. We talked about that, Carrie.” She looked at me, putting her head down, her face bright with a stain of blush.

She gave him a pleading look. “I’ve got the money, Daddy. It’s already scheduled.”

He shook his head, and his face pinched with worry. “But how? You didn’t sell the house, did you?”

“No, Daddy.” I knew she couldn’t tell her father that she’d allowed herself to be bought.

I had to speak up. “I put up the money, sir.”

His eyes narrowed. “That’s awful generous for someone we barely know. That’s a lot of money.” He stared down at my shoes and back up as if he were trying to figure me out. I wondered if he thought that his daughter had gotten into something bad, mixed up with a drug lord or something, so I thought it best to let him know more about me.

“It’s nothing, really. I wanted to do it. You see, I’ve been rather fortunate in life and I’ve worked hard. I own a multi-million-dollar company, and I’m an investor in a few others. My net worth is just over five billion dollars, so it would mean the world to be able to help you and your daughter.”

Her father wiped his brow and then brought his hand to his mouth. “I don’t know what to say.”

It was a reaction that I’d gotten used to. Not many people knew how to react to the amount of money I was worth. It had always set their brains into overdrive as they thought of all the things they could do with my money.

“It’s very generous, but I couldn’t—”

“It’s already done. And I’d like to talk to you about that move. I think I could make your recovery much more comfortable, and well, quite honestly, I’d prefer to have Carrie closer to me and where I live.”

“I don’t want to impose on your lives.” He looked to his daughter. “If that’s what you want to do, you go ahead. I’ll be fine here.”

“No, Daddy. If I went, I’d want you to go too. I’d miss you, and I need to know that you’re being cared for. It killed me that you had to come and stay here.”

“I’ll be back at the house as soon as I’m on my feet.”

They went back and forth, and I could see that Carrie grew more and more upset by the minute.

“With all due respect, sir, is it that you don’t want to move?”

“I just don’t want to be a burden to my daughter.” He turned and looked at her as she took his hand. “You’ve found your Prince Charming, Ladybug. You should start a life with him.”

“You’re my life, Daddy. You always will be, and I want you to come along. You’re no burden, and things will be much easier for the both of us in New York.”

“If you’re sure?”

“I’ve got one of the prettiest housekeepers you’ve ever seen, and I’d guess she’s just about your age.” I gave him a wink, and he chuckled.

“Can we hire a pretty nurse, too?” He glanced at Carrie who rolled her eyes and stepped away from the bed.

“You two are going to be trouble together.” She crossed her arms and laughed.

“So, is it a deal?” I held out my hand, and the old man shook it for the third time.

“You drive a hard bargain.” He chuckled and gripped my hand.

I met Carrie’s eyes. “The best news is, I think we could get your doctor to do the procedure back in New York. That way we won’t have to wait to relocate.”

She came around the bed and hugged me right in front of the old man whose face lit up with a smile. “You’re amazing, Chance. Thank you.”

“Only the best for my girl and her daddy.” I planted a kiss on her forehead, and we took a seat on the small sofa in the corner of his room. We sat talking and making plans, and I really liked her father. He seemed like a cool guy who had always done his best for his daughter until his health had gotten in the way. With the procedure, the doctor had been sure he’d live a normal life, and that was Carrie’s hope, to see him well again and back to his old self.

I sat listening to them as they talked about what to do with their home and I told them to keep it. They might want to come back home for visits, and when I came for work, I’d have a place to stay.

Carrie’s father had also mentioned that she was going to have to give her notice at Angelo’s, and I realized she hadn’t told the man about her morning. She looked so ashamed as he mentioned it. I confronted her when we left.

“You know, you don’t ever have to tell what happened, and you don’t have to tell him you quit, but I don’t want it to bother you, either. I’m happy how things turned out, aren’t you? And if we hadn’t gone through all of it, if we’d changed one little thing, maybe it wouldn’t have worked out this way. So, the next time you’re feeling bad, just remember that. You were doing what you thought was best, and it turned out for the better.”

“Thanks. It’s just that I’ve never lied to him about anything so big before. I’m just ready for what’s to come. When do you think we’ll be ready to move?”

“As soon as possible, I’d hope. I don’t want to be another day without you. The past few have been hell.” It had taken those few days to realize that I was crazy in love with her.

“They were, but I was so mad at you.” She let out a long breath and narrowed her eyes at me and grinned.

I pulled her into my arms. “You’re not still mad at me, are you?”

“No, but you’re going to have to make it up to me.” She rested her forehead on mine and giggled.

“Mm. That’s going to be heaven.” I brought my mouth to her and knew I couldn’t wait much longer to have her. “Do you have some place we can go?”

She let loose a sigh of relief. “I thought you’d never ask.”

CHAPTER TWENTY - CARRIE

On the way to the car, I couldn’t believe how wonderful things had gone with my dad and Chance. For once in my life, I felt like fate was smiling on me. Maybe miracles did exist.

As we headed out, hoping to catch a moment alone, Lindy called to see how things were going and apologize.

“I’m so sorry, Carrie,” she said as I answered the phone.

“It’s okay; I forgive you.”

“Well, I had a feeling you would. Do you know that hot friend of his? The one who came into the diner that first day?” She was talking about Nate.

“Yeah, what about him?”

“He asked me out on a date!” Her voice was so loud in my ear that I held the phone away and Chance gave me a strange look. About that time, his own phone pinged and took it out to look at it.

“He did? Wow, that’s great, Lindy.” Lindy was a gorgeous girl, though a little rough around the edges when it came to being blunt and borderline offensive.

“I know, right? We’re going out this weekend. He’s staying in town.”

Chance’s elbow nudged me, and I turned to see his phone which had a message from Nate. You’re not the only one who can score a hot waitress , it read. He shook his head and put the phone away.

“Speaking of wonderful news, I’m moving to New York with Chance and my father’s coming with us, and he’s having his surgery there.”

“No way! I’m going to miss you like crazy!” Her voice turned whiney, but then she perked up. “Maybe my hot new date will bring me to see you.”

“Maybe. But then again, if he doesn’t I’m sure my hot new boyfriend will fly you out.” I met Chance’s eyes, and he nodded.

I said my farewells and hung up, and he took the opportunity to pull me over into his lap. I loved that he had money for drivers because it made travel so much fun.

“Nate and Lindy?” He met my eyes.

“Yes, can you believe it?” I ran my fingers through his hair.

He made a face. “I’m not sure how anyone could put up with Nate. He’s a good guy, don’t get me wrong, but he’s a bit crazy.”

“Then they’ll be a good match. She’s crazy too. Who knew we’d spark another romance with those two?” I kissed his lips softly and then pulled his bottom one into my mouth.

“Mm. I love it when you suck things,” he whispered.

“I’m sure you do.” His hand was already in my shirt rolling my tight nipple between two fingers.

He leaned down and took my nipple into his mouth and sucked, letting his teeth drag across them.

“How long of a drive it is to your house?” he asked as he ground his erection up against me.

“Long enough for this.” I leaned down and positioned myself over his cock and undid his pants. He gave me a smoldering look as I glanced up and stroked him.

“It’s missed you too.”

“I bet it has.” I leaned down and took him into my mouth and tight-lipped his head, nursing at it hoping to gain a taste of his salt. Once a tiny, pearly taste of him hit my tongue I took him back deeper, slowly inching down his base as it filled my throat.

“Fuck. It’s so good, angel. I love your mouth on me.” I glanced up as he lay his head back and closed his eyes. Now and then his hips would twitch upward, and he’d moan, and each time I heard that sound I filled with pride. I loved making him moan and feel good. He’d done so much for me and knowing what our future held, I wanted to thank him.

I relaxed my throat and pushed my head down harder on him, and his cock filled my throat, closing it off as I held my breath and forced him down into the very depths. I gagged a bit but kept it under control, and he moaned rocked his hips.

I pulled away, and he shook his head. “You better be glad you pulled away. I was going to fill up that pretty mouth in another second, and I don’t want to come just yet.”

“It’s going to be so good when you do. I want it nice and deep inside me.”

He lifted me up and kissed me, pulling me back into his lap.

“Already putting in requests. And I love it, by the way. Coming deep inside you is my favorite. Whether it’s your hot little slit or your plump, pouty lips. Mm.” He leaned in, and we kissed as the driver turned down my street.

“We’re almost there.” I reached down and put his clothing right, and soon we were stopped out front and about to head inside to continue.

“I love this house. It’s very charming. Cottage style has always been a favorite.” He checked out the architecture. “I can see why the two of you hated to sell it.”

“Thanks, but I can’t wait to show you the bedroom.” We exited the car and went inside.

He didn’t waste a moment. “Now, where were we? You were going to show me that bedroom of yours, right?”

“More specifically, the bed.” I held his hand as I led him down the hall to my bedroom. I had a comfy king size of my own, and I stood next to it as he sat on the edge.

I slid my hand down my front to the hem of my shirt and lifted it over my head. Then I undid my pants, and he reached forward to assist as I tugged them down. His hand landed on my mound, where he rubbed firmly and touched me. I was wet for him, and I couldn’t wait to have him inside me.

He slipped his finger beneath the elastic of my panties and brushed it gently across the damp flesh, parting my folds and rubbing very lightly on my clit.

“It’s my turn for a taste.” He tugged the front of my panties to pull me closer and then he yanked them down, his mouth capturing me before I could lose the scrap of lace, which rested on my knees. I worked my hips forward and moaned. He moaned too, and the vibrations from his mouth tingled against my pussy.

Just when I thought the ache between my legs couldn’t get any more intense, he brushed his finger against my ass, pushing at the tight opening, and I came. I ground my hips and pressed against his face as he quickly lapped and moaned as if he greedily wanted every bit.

He pulled away and smiled up at me as he tugged me forward to the bed. “Lay down. I want to get inside that tight fucking hole while it’s ready for me.”

I lay back, and he stripped off his shirt and pants and stroked his huge cock, taking it from base to tip a few times for good measure. Then he nudged his way between my knees and reached down to pull me closer to the edge where he hitched up my legs and encouraged me to put them around his waist.

“Hurry,” I said with a giggle.

“Mhm. My greedy little girl can’t wait.” He centered his cock, and with a deep breath, he pushed it inside me, inching slowly into my tight channel. He filled me to my limits, stretching me wide as usual and since a week had passed, I was tight again and needed time to settle.

He stilled for a moment and then rocked his hips, fucking me nice and slowly. Then his pace quickened, and soon he was fucking me nice and hard just like I loved it. My breasts bounced with each thrust, and he reached up to pinch a nipple with his thumb and forefinger. The pain sent a euphoric wave of pleasure through me, and my pussy began to quake and trembled, splashing around his cock. He slapped himself against me, settling into a fast rhythm as I came, again and again, one multiplying over the next until I thought I’d come apart around him and collapse.

“I love it when you come,” he said, his voice practically a growl.

“I want you to. Please.” I didn’t know how much more I could take and as I begged, he grinned wickedly and gripped my ass pulling me hard against him. His cock twitched, his head buried so deep that I could feel the hot jets of his release soaking me.

“Yes.” My legs fell down to the bed, but he didn’t pull free. He lay across my breast instead, and I nestled into his chest.

“I love you, Carrie.” He leaned down and kissed me. “I’m so happy we’ll have a lifetime of these moments.”

“A lifetime, huh? That sounds serious.” I trailed a finger along his jawline and ran it across his bottom lip.

“Forever.”

We lay like that a while, and in my head, the word echoed. Forever . And happy ever after.

EPILOGUE - CHANCE

My heart was in my throat as I waited for Mr. Chase’s answer. I hadn’t been this nervous in business meetings with hard asses like Peter Proctor, but then again, since his surgery, Brent Chase was far more intimidating when he wanted to be.

He cleared his throat, and as soon as his smile dawned, I relaxed. “It’s about damn time you ask me. I always knew you would too.”

“I take it I have your blessing?”

“Of course. You saved our lives, you know. Both of us. And I’ll be proud to call you son.” He extended his hand, and I took it, his death grip tighter than ever and much stronger than the first handshake he’d given me at the assisted living facility.

“I’m the proud one. I hope to make your daughter even happier.”

“I don’t think that’s possible. You’ve already spoiled her rotten. You know, I think you’ve undone a good portion of the work I did raising her to be meek and modest, but I’ll let it pass. She’s a good girl, and I know she loves you.”

“I love her, sir.” I couldn’t help but love him too. Over the past year, going through all the stress and hope during his surgery and after, through his physical therapy and healing, I’d been affected right alongside his daughter.

I took the ring out of my pocket and showed him. “I’m going to give her this. Do you think she’ll like it?” I was worried that the eighteen-karat diamond was too showy.

“Wow, now that’s a rock.” He made a face, and I sank back knowing I’d overdone it.

“It’s too much, isn’t it?”

“I’d say. Let me give you a bit of advice, son. That’s going to spend more time in a safe than on her finger. Get her something smaller that she can wear every day. She’s not going to paint wearing that.”

He had a point, and I hadn’t even though about her painting in it. “I’ll just get her two.” I’d grab a smaller one for her to exchange when she wanted so she could still wear the huge one to formal occasions, besides, it was valued at five million, so I wanted to be sure she always had security if the worst ever happened. In our crazy world, one couldn’t be too careful. Even a billionaire’s wife.

I left his house after a few more minutes and went home to pick her up for our date. I had a lovely evening of dinner and wine planned and a walk around the gallery.

When I arrived, I found her on all fours in her dressing room off the huge wardrobe room, which was just a large walk-in closet.

“That’s a nice position, did you know I was here?”

She looked up at me and winked but then continued looking. “I lost the back to my earring.”

I stopped in my tracks and looked down to the plush, white carpet to see if I could help. I spotted it against her jewelry counter. “Here it is.” I reached down to get it and then helped her to her feet. Once she righted, I pulled her up to her feet and kissed her deeply.

“Mm. I’ve wanted to do that all day.” And I had. I’d spent the day out getting things in order to make the day perfect.

I’d wanted to make sure my proposal would be epic and memorable and had even asked Nate for advice which was a bad idea. After turning down his flash mob idea, which I thought was completely lame and much too flashy for my Carrie, I decided to keep it low key and went with a classier approach.

“We have reservations in an hour.” I trailed my gaze down her body, seeing through the sheer robe she wore.

“I’m hurrying. I won’t be late, I promise. What’s so special, anyway? Where are you taking me?” She had tried to get answers from me all day, and I’d been biting my tongue to keep from giving it all away.

“I just want to take you to a nice dinner to celebrate it being a year since you moved here.”

“But we just celebrated our anniversary of when we met.” She walked to the rack which held her formal dresses and took one of my favorites from its hanger.

“We won’t ever have too many anniversaries. Besides, every day with you is worth celebrating.” She stopped and lay the dress over a chair and then walked up, taking my hand as she stepped into my embrace.

“You say the sweetest things, and you treat me like a princess, Chance. I don’t know how I got so lucky.”

I gave her a peck on the lips and nudged her away, nodding to the dress. “Get dressed. The sooner we go, the sooner we get to come back here and make love.”

She made a sound of approval and then slipped off her robe and went to the drawer of her lingerie case. “We could skip it and start now.”

“Greedy girl.” I normally would have agreed and taken her right then, but all I could think about was the huge ring in my pocket and how much I wanted to give it to her.

It was nearly two hours into the date when I realized I hadn’t planned the exact moment of my proposal. I had figured that the opportunity would arise and I’d know it was the right moment. So, I waited, all through dinner and on the way to the private gallery viewing.

I’d rented out the gallery and had even arranged a special viewing. “I love this place.” She walked a few steps away from me and turned a circle to see it all. “Remember when you brought me here when I first moved in. We spent hours here, and I never wanted to leave.”

“I do, and it’s the main reason I wanted to bring you back.”

“You must not be in a hurry to get me back to our bed, after all.” She giggled softly and went to the far wall across the room. “Come here; I want to see if my favorite one is still here.” I hung back knowing what she’d find, and by the time I reached her, she stood staring, slack-jawed with awe and her hand over her heart. “It’s my painting!”

She’d painted the piece for my office shortly after moving to New York, and I wanted her to know how good I thought it was and how truly I loved it. I’d had the gallery hang it beside her favorite, knowing he’d return to see it.

“Your talent should be displayed with the greats, so I’ve arranged for it to be here this month so that others can enjoy it too.”

Her face was red with blush, and she turned to take my hand. “It’s such a sweet gesture. Thank you.” She turned back to see the painting and then stepped over to her favorite. “You even remembered where to put it. You knew I’d want to see this again.” She tilted her head and stared at the painting she loved so much. It was a woman who was lounging in a huge chair, her hair was gathered around her, and she was curled in on herself in a casual way as if sleeping. She looked so peaceful, and the colors were soft and happy.

I reached into my pocket and took out the small box. And before she turned to see what I was doing, I dropped to one knee. “What are you—Oh, Chance!” She put her hand to her heart and tears pooled in her eyes as they grew red.

“I love you, Carrie. Will you be my wife?” She was on her knees with me before I could finish, her arms wrapping around my shoulders and her mouth moving on mine.

She paused her kiss but did not pull away as she blurted her yes against my lips. We kissed for what seemed like minutes and then she pulled away, wiping her eyes and finally saw the ring.

“Oh, it’s gorgeous!” She held out her hand as I slipped the heavy ring on her slender finger.

“If it’s too much, I’ll get you a smaller one that you can wear daily.”

“No, it’s perfect!” She held her hand to her heart and then kissed me again. “Take me home,” she whispered against my neck. When I met her eyes, she gave me a smoldering look and licked her lips.

We hurried to the car where she straddled my lap, and we made out until we got to our house. I took her upstairs, and by the time we reached the top, we’d left a trail of clothes behind us.

She stood by the bed and waited as I climbed in and reached for her hand. I pulled her down with me, but she stopped at my hips, taking my cock with her ringed grip.

She leaned over and planted a soft kiss on my tip, then snaked her tongue out to roll it around my head. I hissed in a sharp breath as she let her teeth graze my shaft, and then a splash of hot precum hit her tongue causing her to moan.

She closed her mouth around me, and I reached down and put my hand on her hip, encouraging her to turn. “Straddle my face, angel. I want to lick that little slit of yours.” She did as I asked, and soon her bare little mound hovered above me. I stuck out my tongue and let it glide along her folds, parting them so I could get a taste deep inside her channel. I held her ass with one hand, moving her against me, and rubbed my thumb against her tender clit with the other.

She responded to my touch by going weak kneed, and her weight shifted as she came. I held her up, licking her deep and tasting her salty sweet nectar as it coated my tongue.

I rolled her over and pulled away, anxious to get inside my fiancé. I let the word sink in and knew my life was complete.

EPILOGUE - CARRIE

The aftershocks of my orgasm were still rolling through me when he pulled away and lay me on my side.

It was our first time as betrothed lovers, and I wanted it perfect. We were off to a good start.

I was still trembling as he rolled me onto my back and I let my legs fall open wide, so he could enter me. I needed to feel him filling me up, and I felt like such a lucky girl that he would be mine for the rest of our lives.

The past year had been so crazy with the move and my father’s surgery. Now that he’d finally recovered and was happy with his new life, I felt like I could breathe again and that it was time for me to live. The proposal couldn’t have come at a better time, and with me starting art school in the fall, it was going to be an exciting year.

His weight pressed against my hips and his cock sheathed itself inside me in one hard thrust. I’d gotten used to him over the past year and not many a day had gone by that we weren’t together.

He angled my hips, and his cock brushed against my most tender spot, and I squealed and whimpered, begging for more. “Don’t stop, please.” I dug my nails into his back as I bucked my hips upward and he growled out with pleasure. The heavy ring was going to take some getting used to, and I wondered just how many karats it was as my orgasm hit and wiped away all care from the world.

I was going to be his wife, and that was all that mattered. He rolled us over, and my legs found their place astride him, and I settled around his base, grinding to gain more pleasure.

I loved how thick his cock was, especially around his base, and I clenched my walls around him milking his cock, needing it to soak me. I reached around behind me and stroked his balls, lifting them against my ass, and he moaned.

“Fuck, you’re going to make me want inside that tight fucking hole.” He had taken my ass and had it trained to his cock almost as well as my pussy, and I ached at my core as I thought about him using it.

“What if I want it?”

His eyes met mine. “I don’t know if I could be gentle. I’m about to pound that sweet little slit of yours.”

“Mm. I’ll be your wife soon, so you can take me however you want.” He’d always been gentle with my ass, but I wanted more. I didn’t need him to treat me so tenderly. I wanted to feel desired, and I loved the way he was when he lost all restraint.

Something flashed in his eyes, and suddenly he scooted us to the end of the bed and lifted me up and placed me on my back against the bed. He pulled away, stroking his cock to keep it ready.

“Get on your hands and knees. Just like earlier.”

As I found my hands and knees on the soft bed, a strong hand slapped my ass cheek, and I whimpered as it stung. Then that same hand, still warm from the friction, came up against my mound, finding my clit.

“I hope you meant what you said, angel. Because I’m not going to be easy on your little ass.” His voice had always made me wet, and I felt a tickle in my pussy as he growled the words into my ear.

He spread my cheeks apart and licked my tight hole. Then his mouth went away and was replaced by his thick head which rubbed me up and down from my clit to my little star which was clenching from anticipation.

“Relax for me, Carrie.” He rubbed his cock against my hole, pressing it hard.

I gave up my resistance and his head pushed inside me, the thick rim of it spreading me wider. I winced at the pressure as it consumed me and then he began to rock forward, fucking my ass slowly.

My pussy dripped, still soaked from my orgasms and the building need as he thrust into me.

“I’m going to fill that pussy too.” I heard him reach inside the drawer by our bed and then a moment later the buzzing noise filled my ears. He stopped rocking inside my ass until he put the vibrator in place inside my channel. “Hold it there, angel. I’m going to take you harder now.”

The feeling of both of my holes being filled was so intense, and as he sped up his pace, I could feel my orgasm building. Chance gave me a few hard thrusts, and then he moaned as his cock poured into my ass. He kept right on pounding me, and I couldn’t hold the vibrator any longer. I dropped it, and it fell to the bed still buzzing as my juices dripped down my thighs and my face hit the bed.

Chance pulled out of me and lifted me up, carrying me to the shower where he adjusted the temperature and placed me under the soft, hot rain. Then he held me from behind and kissed me tenderly as his cock brushed up against my back.

“You’re amazing, angel. I can’t wait until you’re my wife and you have my name and my children.”

“You want children?” I’d been on the pill for years even though I was a virgin. I’d used it to regulate my periods, and I had never really considered babies.

“Yes, I want everything with you, Carrie. I’ve never wanted these things before you, and I don’t think I could have ever wanted them with anyone else.” He’d always made sure to let me know how special I was, and that those others had never compared to me. It was a sweet gesture, but unnecessary. I saw the way he loved me, and it was enough.

He cradled me in his arms and washed me, soaping up my breasts with a firm grip and then rubbing his soapy hand from my smooth mound to my tender ass. He paid special attention to that area and soon again, his cock hardened.

“Fuck, angel. I’m hard for you again.” He pressed his hips against me, and I moaned turning to face him.

“I’m always ready for you.” I was so horny from his hands rubbing me that I’d almost made the suggestion.

“Greedy girl. You want more don’t you?”

“Yes, sir,” I whispered.

“Good girl.” He grabbed my hips and aimed his cock at my soaked little slit, and soon we were at it again. I’d never get enough.

The End
