Undeniable (Damaged Elite Book 1) by K. Renee (16)

She now knows the one secret that continues to eat away at me every day…and she isn't running away. Instead, she's allowing me to still put my hands on her. I know I should have done something back then, but I was just a sixteen-year-old kid who was scared as hell. It doesn't excuse it, but there is nothing I can really do now…except turn myself in. That is something I can't do. I don't know what my brother is doing here or why he has his sights set on Bresin, so I can't go to jail.

Instead of thinking any more about that night, I focus on Bresin and the way she feels pressed up against me. She undoes my belt and slacks, pushing them down my thighs and letting them pool at my feet. Toeing both of my shoes off, I kick everything to the side and lift her up.

Using my body, I hold her up against the door as she wraps those long legs around my waist. Her heels dig into my ass, making me moan. Kissing my way down her neck and to her chest, I suck one of her nipples into my mouth. Her fingers grip my hair and she pulls my head back, covering my mouth with hers.

Gripping my dick with one hand and holding her up with the other, I slowly slide my tip inside her. Her head thumps back against the door and her eyes close. Her mouth parts as I push the rest of the way inside. She fits me like a damn glove, and I never want to give that up. Sucking on her neck, I slam in and out of her. Every moan I pull from her is like fucking music to my damn ears, and I can't get enough of it.

Her nails dig into my back as I continue to thrust in and out of her. Her moans fill her dorm room, and I feel my balls tighten. "I'm going to come,” she whimpers, latching onto my shoulder to stifle her scream. I thrust into her a few more times before I spill my load inside her, then rest my forehead on her chest.

"Fuck," I groan, resting my weight on her as I get my bearings back. After I catch my breath, I walk her toward her tiny bed. Even though I hate this damn thing, I'll still hold her just like I promised.

I’ll give her the damn world for as long as I can.

Laying her on the bed, I slowly pull away, groaning when our bodies disconnect. She curls up as I walk over to my jeans to grab my phone before I slide into bed behind her, pulling her body close to mine. Checking the screen, I see a new group message from Beckett and Maddox. I read Beckett’s first.

Really? Fighting in a damn restaurant?

Rolling my eyes, I look at Maddox’s.

Don’t listen to this fucker. Did you at least kick his ass?

I run my hand over my face before I text them back.

He called her a whore and told her she could be next for us.

Their replies are instantaneous.

I’m going to beat his ass.

Fuck that shit. He’s lucky I wasn’t there. Uncalled for. I want to beat his ass, too.

I know they've been waiting for me to give them the details on what happened tonight. I tell them that I hit him for the shit he said about Bresin, and that I told her about the secret. We promised each other we would never tell another soul, but the trust I have in all of them flew out the window when Ridge tried to throw that shit in my face to keep me from his sister.

He's also using again. He was high as a fucking kite. I don't care if I go down for anything. I'll protect her from him.

I turn off the screen and set it on the bed next to us. Bresin rolls onto her side, wrapping her leg over my waist before throwing her arm over me. Her cheek rests against my chest, and I can feel every breath she takes.

“Jagger?” she whispers, her hot breath fanning my skin.

“Yeah, little girl?” I ask, kissing her forehead.

“What’s going to happen?” I look down at her as I try to figure out what she means. “Is Ridge going to go back to rehab, or is he just going to continue to try and ruin my life? That isn’t the brother I know and love. He’s…I don’t know…sick.”

I run my thumb down her spine. "He isn't the best friend I remember. We made a pact to never speak of that night, but he's trying to use it against me to keep me away from you. He's known that I've wanted you since you were sixteen. He was okay with it at first. But once he started using that first time, everything changed. He changed."

“He’s known?” she asks, shifting her body so she can rest her chin on my chest and look up at me.

"Yeah. I told him I was going to win you over one day and there was nothing he could do to stop it, so he should just think of me as family." I wink at her. She pushes my face. "I'm serious. I've always wanted you. Ever since the day you came in wearing those tiny ripped jean shorts and that cut-up band tee. You were a fucking goddess at sixteen, but now? I can't even put into words what you do to me."

“Is that why you always kept me at a distance?”

"Not at first. You were too damn young for me to make a move on you. I was twenty and you were only sixteen. I couldn't touch you with a ten-foot pole…unless I wanted your parents to slap handcuffs on me. As you got older, though, it was because of my secret. Ridge kept me away from you by holding that shit over my head." I lean down and kiss her lips.

“You gave in once.” Her eyes stay on my chest as she slowly traces the tattoo right above my heart.

"I did. And I don't regret one minute of my time with you. I thought that having you once would purge you from my system, but it didn't. It only made me want you more. I craved you, but never did a thing about it. It was your face I pictured every damn time we were with somebody." I know women don't like hearing it’s their face the guy they like is imagining while fucking someone else, but it's the truth. I promised her I wouldn't lie to her, so this is me being as honest as I can.

“I hate that,” she whispers.

"I know." She has no fucking idea how much I know. I wish I would have done things differently with her when she turned eighteen and we had sex for the first time. That night, she told me about the night she lost her virginity. As much as I hated that she lost it to some dickhead, part of me was glad it wasn't to me.

I didn’t deserve her then, and I still don’t.

Looking over at the clock on her desk, it's already eleven thirty. She has class tomorrow, and I don't want her to miss any more than necessary. Kissing her forehead one more time, I whisper, "Sleep, little girl. We can deal with everything else tomorrow."

She nods and kisses right over my heart before snuggling herself up against my side. “Night, Jagger.”

Closing my eyes, I try to push away all thoughts of tonight. I'm still pissed as hell at Ridge. We need to convince him to go back to rehab. Bresin doesn't deserve his shit.

Banging on her door causes my eyes to snap open. Bresin moves in my arms and groans, but doesn't wake. The banging stops for a few seconds before it starts again. Nudging her a little, her eyes finally open slowly. I hand her my shirt before I pull on my jeans and make my way toward the annoying asshole on the other side of that damn door.

As soon as I look through the peephole, I see him standing on the other side. Shit is about to hit the fan. I know he'll swing as soon as he sees me.

"Who is it?" she asks quietly.

"Ridge," I mutter under my breath. She gasps, but I ignore her. I have to figure out how to keep him from charging at me as soon as I open the damn door.

Taking a deep breath, I ready myself. Positioning my foot behind the door, I open it, pressing my weight to it.

“I fucking knew it,” he bites out, trying to grab for me. I lean back just enough to be out of his reach, but I won’t be able to fight him like this. "I never should have fucking trusted you. All you ever wanted was one thing. My sister.” He bangs on the door some more, which I'm sure causes Bresin’s floormates to come out of their rooms to see what's happening.

"Chill the fuck out, Ridge," I growl, pushing the door closed a little more. Somehow, he gets his fist in, clocking me in the side of the head, making my grip loosen enough for him to push it open farther.

Bresin’s scream rips through the quiet room. When I turn to make sure she's okay, he pushes the door open. His fist connects with my cheekbone, the pain radiating through my face. My head jerks to the side and I stumble back.

He swings at me again, but I block it this time, then hit his gut. He hunches over slightly before he comes at me again. I swing at his already battered face. I feel the crunch of his nose as my fist plows into it. If I didn't break it last night, I definitely did this time.

He falls back, but I don't let my guard down. We've been fighting with each other for years. We know the way the other thinks, but with him using, it makes him unpredictable. I feel Bresin’s hands on my back, but I don't turn to look at her. Ridge's eyes meet mine as he spits blood on her cheap linoleum floor.

"She'll want nothing to do with you while you're rotting in a cell.” He comes closer, but I don't back down. Then, before I can do anything, Bresin steps in front of me just as he swings.

His fist connects with the side of her face, her whole body moving sideways with the momentum. I reach my hand out, catching her before she falls to the floor. "What in the fuck is wrong with you?" I bark out, walking Bresin to the bed. I lay her down. When I look at her, I can see the bruise already starting to form on her temple and creeping into her eyelid.

Fuck.

Groaning, she sits up as I turn to face her brother. "Get the hell out." I can feel the anger coursing through my veins.

"Fuck you. She’s my sister,” he says, coming closer.

"You’re the one who just fucking hit her. Stay the fuck away from her!"

Some security guys rush in and step in between Ridge and me. Bresin only has my shirt on, so if she moves too much, I’m sure they will get a glimpse of everything she has to offer, which pisses me off more. I walk over to the bed and sit next to her, wrapping my arm around her shoulders and holding her close.

My eyes meet Ridge's, seeing the anger flowing through them. He's pissed as hell right now, but I don't give a shit. He hurt her and that's all I need to know. He will pay for that crap. He needs to get his ass clean before he ruins everything.
