“We won’t do this again,” Vicky said firmly, turning away from Bruce, and heading back inside. “And everything is going to be okay.”
“Right,” Bruce agreed, clasping his belt, and following her inside. He couldn’t help but feel a little bit dejected about it. Was this how it felt after women had the run of the mill one-night stand? He didn’t like it. He felt so... dismissed. “It won’t happen again.”
