I don’t reply right away. I let the events of our past and present sink in and wash over me. Yeah, we’ve been through some shit, but this time I have a plan that will end all plans.
“No, Babe. I don’t think we should. Let’s take care of some unfinished business first,” I lift up to look him in the eyes. A smirk tips my lips. “I mean…why waste the perfect opportunity?”
Lorenzo’s grey eyes turned dark, as his lips curled into a smile. “I like the way you think. What’s the point of being a ghost if you can’t say, boo,” Lorenzo says darkly.
“Exactly,” I purred. “Exactly.”
