Do You Do Extras? by Ashton, Nikki (48)

Grantley

As I looked at Phoebe, I couldn’t believe she was actually mine. She was so fucking beautiful and yet an absolute mess all at the same time. Her hair was all over the place, mascara was smudged under her eyes and she had one leg in a pair of yoga pants and one leg out.

“Hey, pretty girl,” I whispered, gently shaking her awake as my eyes raked down her body.

Fuck, she was sexy and I could feel myself getting hard just looking at her.

“Oh hi,” she yawned.

“What happened?” I asked, pointing to her disarray.

“I was bored so was dancing to Wham and got all hot and sweaty.”

I grinned at her, that damn obsession she had with fucking eighties music was crazy. We could be anywhere, a red-carpet event, a dinner party, or even at the food market and if any eighties music was played she always squealed, clapped her hands like a damn seal, and then did a sexy shimmy of her hips and ass, always, without fail, in time to the music.

“You did, eh?” I sat myself down on the edge of the couch, and reached up to try and smooth down her hair. “I’m sorry I was late and you got bored. We had to reshoot a scene because the lighting wasn’t right.”

“That’s okay, you have to work.”

I smiled at her, thanking every damn star, planet, and god above that I had her. She got me. She knew who I was and what I needed, which namely, was her.

“So,” I said. “What’s with the one leg in the pants and one leg out?”

Phoebe looked down at her legs and slapped a hand against her mouth. “Oh God,” she gasped. “That’s awful.”

“What?” I asked, grinning. “What’s awful?”

She looked up at me with her huge brown eyes and crimson touched her cheeks. “I was having a rude dream about you and me. I think I was touching myself,” she whispered as if there were other people in the room who could hear.

My cock certainly heard and woke up, wanting in on any action that was available.

“You were,” I groaned, shifting to adjust myself.

Phoebe nodded and sucked on her lip. She looked so fuckable, even though that wasn’t what she was trying to do. Phoebe had no idea about the art of seduction, she was just sexy without trying. Sexy, fuckable, and damn well adorable and she was mine.

“Yep, I must have needed better access.”

“Shit, I love you,” I said on a long breath. “So damn much.”

Phoebe’s face broke into a beautiful grin. “You do?”

“You know I do.”

I bent to kiss her and snaked a hand up her bare leg, all the way, until I met the hem of her t-shirt. My fingers pushed under it, until I felt a hard, tight, little nipple. Phoebe moaned as I pinched it at the same time that I deepened the kiss.

“Grantley,” she gasped. “I love you.”

Her hips bucked and instantly my cock got even harder. Just knowing she wanted me as much as I wanted her, turned me on much more than any woman ever had before.

“Get your clothes off,” she whispered. “I need you naked and inside me, now.”

“Fuuuck,” I groaned, pulling myself away from her hot, delicious lips.

I stood up and unzipped my pants and was just about to push them down my legs when a little voice instantly poured cold water on my hard-on.

“Daddy.”

I turned to see my gorgeous baby girl careering toward me, wearing an orange all in one that had a prison number and ‘I stole my daddy’s heart’ on the front.

“Hey baby.” I dropped to my knees and held open my arms for my gorgeous four-year-old, Lowry, to run into – yep, who knew I could be sentimental and name my baby after the hotel where I first kissed her mother. “What are you doing out of bed?”

I pulled her against my chest and inhaled deeply. She smelled of baby soap and Phoebe and it filled my heart with joy.

“In fact, how did you get out of bed?” Phoebe asked, pulling herself to the edge of the couch and reaching from behind me to stroke Lowry’s soft hair that was the exact same color as her own.

“I climb,” came Lowry’s muffled reply from against my chest.

“You climbed over the side?” Phoebe cried. “You need to be careful sweetie, what if you’d fallen?”

“I’d have hurted my ass.”

Phoebe and I both snorted a laugh as the angelic cherub in my arms snuggled her nose against my neck. How the hell could I want anything more from life than this – oh yep, right on cue, my boy started to cry, reminding me of the other great joy in my life.

“I’ll go.”

Phoebe got up and stumbled across the lounge, trying to put her leg back into her pants.

“Momma is silly,” Lowry giggled.

“She is,” I agreed. “She’s beautiful too.”

Lowry nodded enthusiastically. “Yep, she’s the beautifulest pwincess ever.”

A few minutes later, Phoebe appeared carrying our one-year-old son, Chester. It was as close to Manchester as I could get, so yeah, you get the picture now on how sentimental I am. He was my mirror image and at a year old, already strong-willed and a little defiant at times, but he had his momma’s smile and loving nature – thankfully both my kids did.

“Hey my man. You wanted to join in did you?” I asked, cradling his face as Phoebe sat next to me on the floor.

Chester’s little hand came out and gently smacked my nose, and when I winced as if it hurt, the little demon giggled.

“God, I love my life,” I whispered leaning to kiss Phoebe’s temple. “You and the kids, you are my everything, you know that, right?”

Phoebe gave me a starry eyed smile and nodded. “I know. Same goes for us too. We three adore you.”

I gave a long, contented sigh as Lowry snuggled down against me and Phoebe pulled Chester closer to her chest, gently rocking him.

“Can you imagine if I’d not got on that film?” Phoebe asked, as she often did when we were thanking our lucky stars. “Or I hadn’t been looking at my phone, instead of watching where I was going.”

I shook my head. “Don’t even want to think about it.”

“Me neither.”

We had a damn good life, thanks to my success. I’d made my last Addison Yates’ film a couple of years before, finally signing off with a desire to do some more serious movies. It worked, because now I was two days into filming a hard-hitting movie about a Vice cop and before that I’d recently finished shooting a political drama. Word on the street was, I was a shoe in for an Oscar nomination based on my performance as a crooked Senator. I wasn’t counting on it, but it would be pretty cool if it happened. As for Phoebe, she didn’t do Extra work any longer, but with the kids and helping to manage a charity I’d set up for disadvantaged kids, she had her hands full. Plus, after I’d petitioned for Beth’s permanent visa, she and the boys had made the move to LA too. She worked at a bank close to our house, and the boys went to school nearby, so Phoebe picked them up for her on the days that Beth was working. As for Beth, well she was dating a fire-fighter, Joshua, who was, according to my wife, a real hottie – no pun intended. He’d helped rescue Beth and some other people from a broken-down elevator in a shopping mall and he told me, was pretty smitten at first sight. Beth was just as crazy about him and they’d been dating for almost eight months. Joshua got along great with the boys and they loved him right back – I’d even heard Mack call him dad once, by mistake. They were a great little family unit and Joshua had mentioned to me about asking Beth and the boys to move in with him. Of course, I’d had him checked out. I loved Beth with all my heart, she was an amazing woman for bringing up Mack and Callum alone all those years and I needed her to be happy and safe. Thankfully, Joshua passed all the checks and had even been given a bravery award a couple of years back that he’d never mentioned. He was a great guy and good enough for my sister-in-law and nephews.

Barney still drove me around and looked after me, but even he was thinking of settling down with a women he’d met in a hotel bar when we’d been staying on location. He was smitten and Marlena seemed good for him – my only worry was she lived in Washington and I wasn’t sure she liked the idea of LA life, which meant I could lose Barney, but hey, I wanted him to be happy too, so what would be was what would be.

As for me, I was happier than I’d ever been and Phoebe gave me that; my pretty girl, my world. I admit, there were still times when I acted like a pre-menstrual bitch, but that was usually when my mom called. Yeah, things were no better with her, she still annoyed the fuck out of me. Phoebe said she couldn’t stand to be in her parents’ company for more than three hours, well my fucking limit with my mom was three minutes – ten tops. But hey, we were making progress, three was better than zero. I would never forgive her for what she’d planned to do, no matter how ridiculous her plan was. Unbelievably, my fucking kids adored her and I would never keep her from them. We kept things amiable for their sake, and after a stint in rehab, she appeared to have been clean and sober for the last year and a half. I asked her what was different this time and she said ‘Lowry and Chester. I need to rectify my wrongs.’, so maybe I should give her credit for that. As for Trent, my ‘dad’, he and I were getting there, much quicker than me and Sue-Ann, it had to be said. The guilt and heartache he’d felt over the years was visible in every line and crevice on his face. Every time he looked at me, I saw deep, dark regret in his eyes and yes I was still angry and disappointed that he hadn’t fought harder for me, but I understood. The thought of finding out either Lowry or Chester weren’t mine would gut me, but I’d still want to be in their life. That said, if I thought they were going to live with their real father, well I’m not sure I could stand that and maybe I’d run away too. Thank god, I didn’t have that worry, my kids were most definitely my kids. As for the kids, they adored Dad and Deanna, and if I was on location and wanted Phoebe to come out for a few days, Granpy and Granma were more than happy to babysit them.

Phoebe and I sat in silence for a little while, until we heard the gentle snores of our babies.

“Hey,” I whispered, turning to Phoebes. “What do you think about a sleepover tonight?”

She looked down at Chester and then Lowry, finally her eyes landing on mine.

“I can’t think of anything better.”

Leaning to her, I gave Phoebe the softest of kisses, delivering enough pressure that she would understand every word I wasn’t saying.

“Who do you love?” I asked my pretty girl.

“I love you,” she replied when I slowly pulled away. “Always you.”
