Plaything at the Royal Wedding: An MFMM Royal Romance by Lana Hartley (14)

Chapter 13

Lacey

I can’t wait to show Sam the lingerie he purchased for me. I can tell it’s all he’s thinking about right now. I could put him out of his misery, but I think I’ll wait to up the suspense.

I may have been inexperienced before, but I know lust in a man’s eyes when I see it; when he wants me.

Our meals arrive, and I inhale the savory scent of the meat in front of me. “Mmm. It smells so good.” The presentation is fantastic with a bed of potatoes and fresh asparagus.

Sam’s green eyes are locked onto me as I look up.

“My beautiful girl does love her meat.”

His quick wit has me laughing instantly, and he joins in.

“Only good meat, though,” I clarify as I’m cutting into my perfectly cooked medium rare piece.

“Of course. Only good meat.”

Sam seems to be savoring his first bite too. With his classic good looks, brown wavy hair, and beautiful green eyes, he could have anyone. I can’t believe how lucky I am.

I was worried when I moved here for this job. It’s always scary going into the unknown, but these three are really going to make it interesting.

Sam, Charlie, and Adam are each extremely eligible bachelors. I can’t help but feel a little skeptical of their attention. I don’t want to think that I’m being played, but there is always that little voice in the back of your head.

If it seems too good to be true, then it probably is.

I’ve always been a big believer in taking things as they go and not backing down. When the right things come along, you have to grab onto it tight with both hands. With them, I may need more than my two hands!

I want things with all of us to go smoothly and work out, but I don’t really know how they feel about it. I’ve been looking forward to these one on one dates to feel them out. They sound like it’s serious for them, but it’s so new and hard to tell if we’re all on the same page.

“Was the other night good for you?”

Turning his question from earlier around only seems fair.

He finishes swallowing before answering me. Those few seconds of delay let me know that I have my heart invested in this way more than I realized.

“The other night was incredible. It wasn’t just good. It wasn’t even great. It really was incredible.”

Something inside me relaxes with his words. The band around my chest that was keeping me from breathing deeply finally loosens. Thank God.

Everything happened so quickly and was so intense, I can’t be sure of how everyone else was feeling too. I think they enjoyed it, but I was in la-la land by the end.

“I’m so relieved.”

I don’t realize I have my hand on my chest until he pulls it away and kisses my fingers.

“Couldn’t you tell?” He slides his chair closer to mine around the table, looking into my eyes seriously.

I can’t help flushing as I remember everything. “Well, yes. It seemed like everyone was enjoying it, but I wanted to make sure. Have you ever done that before?”

It’s now or never, and I really want to know.

I think out of the three, Sam is the most likely to be honest. He really seems to be in tune with me. When I came off stage from my disastrous exit, he was the one making sure I was okay; he gets me.

“No.” He takes a sip of his wine before continuing. “I’ve never been with anyone in a group situation like that.”

I can tell he’s a bit uncomfortable. I am, too, but he deserves to know how I feel.

“I just wanted to make sure that…you know. Um…” I’m having a harder time saying this without sounding like an asshole. “I wanted to make sure I wasn’t some kind of notch on your belts.”

Fuck. That sounded pretty bad.

He just looks at me though. Seriously. “That’s an honest concern. I can see how you might wonder about that.”

His quiet agreement makes me fall in love. He’s so perfect. So intuitive. And so fucking hot.

He has a calm, sexy vibe that is casually alluring. I can’t say I’ve ever met a guy that is more willing or able to put himself in someone else’s shoes.

“I was curious. I’m sorry if that’s rude, but you all seemed to work together so well. If you know what I mean.” I wink suggestively, hoping to lighten the mood again.

“I honestly believe it was you.”

His still serious words sink in slowly. He’s looking at me intently, chewing slowly.

“Me?” I don’t know what he means. I didn’t really do anything, but enjoy.

“Yes. I just know for me, that wouldn’t have happened with anyone but you,” he says.

His green eyes catch the light from the fire, and seem to hypnotize me. I’m not sure what to say to that anyways. I go with changing the topic.

“Is Mr. Denham like that with all the new girls?” I ask.

It makes sense. That could be his method of operation. Pouncing on the new, innocent models as they start working for him…unfortunate, but very common.

“I honestly don’t know.” Sam wipes his mouth with his napkin from his lap before continuing. “I know what he’s up to financially right now, but I haven’t kept tabs on his love life. Believe me, it’s hard enough to follow the finances.”

He snags my hand across the table.

“We won’t let him hassle you anymore. Adam would know more about him personally. You could ask him, but I’d rather you just help me teach him a lesson.”

“By helping and working with you guys like we discussed the other day?”

Sam seems to hesitate a bit before answering. “Yes. Nobody deserves what he is doing. Not just the sexual harassment, but the stealing is deplorable.”

I know he’s right. I’m a little nervous about what they might plan, but the handsy fucker does need to go down.

I wonder what that will mean for all of us who work for him? I probably don’t want to know. I certainly don’t want to know right now.

“I agree and that is something we will have to discuss later.”

Slowly, I take a piece of my asparagus onto my fork and suggestively tilt my head back while drawing it into my mouth. I kind of feel like an idiot, but Sam immediately perks up. Drawing it in and out, moaning low, I pull it into my mouth and close my eyes, savoring the flavor.

Sam’s answering growl has me popping my eyes open with a smile. I lick my lips while he tracks my movements.

Slipping off my heels, I rub my foot slowly up his leg while crossing my own legs. Bouncing my foot between his legs, I’m probably six inches from where he would really like me…and where I would really like to be.

Teasing him is like teasing myself.

“What would you like to discuss now?” My sassy tone has him smiling broadly. “I don’t want you to get bored with me.”

“Oh, there’s not a chance of that.”

His hand reaches down to start massaging my foot, and I melt into my chair. His strong fingers seem to find all the right pressure points.

Slowly, he pulls my foot further up his lap to massage it against his rock-hard cock. I wiggle my toes and slide them against his length.

Sam presses back against me as I try to continue eating my meal. He’s practically done, but I still have a ways to go—not that I’m hungry now.

Instead, a deep ache has started in my pussy. It’s insistent, and I’m tempted to touch myself.

“I wish you were touching me now,” I say.

Putting another bite of steak in my mouth, I chew slowly, still sliding my foot along his cock that seems to be getting longer and harder.

“Oh, baby. You have no idea what I want to do to you.” His hand is pinning my foot to him as he grinds against me suggestively. “But I want you to enjoy your meal and finish it if you’re hungry. We can always have dessert later.”

His smirk lets me know he isn’t referring to food.
