Ranger Ramon (Shifter Nation: Werebears Of Acadia Book 3) by Meg Ripley (7)

****

I don’t wanna wake up… I thought, feeling the warm sunlight against my face, but not wanting to open my eyes. I knew it was morning, but I was not ready to face the day just yet. I tried burying my face into the nearest thing and realized I was laying on something heated.

“Awake finally?” I heard a man’s voice ask.

Or someone.

Oh shit! I thought, remembering meeting a guy at the bar last night. What was his name again? Roman? No, that’s not right…Ramon. That was it! Wait, why does he feel so hot? Does he have a fever or something?

“Why are you so hot? You’re burning up!”

“Maybe it’s having you next to me?”

I smiled remembering the mind-blowing sex he had delivered to me last night.

“Good morning…” I smiled. He was grinning at me in all of his sexy naked glory, and he was indeed glistening with a sheen of sweat.

“Maybe it got cold last night and they turned the heat up or something?” I decided to get up and shifted my legs. I winced, feeling how sore I was from the night before.

He noticed and chuckled lightly. “I remember someone requesting morning sex, but I don’t think you have it in you,” he joked as I propped myself up on one elbow.

“Yeah, I might have been a little overzealous,” I laughed. “I’ll definitely need some time to recover.”

Gazing over his body, I really wish I didn’t need to recuperate. But, I knew sex right now would be more painful than enjoyable. The soreness I felt was satisfying, though; it was a reminder of his large member inside me, stretching my walls. And that was a memory I wanted to relive and remember for a long time.

“Did you sleep well?” he asked.

“I did. Did you?”

“Not really. I actually hardly slept at all, but I feel fine. I just watched you sleep.”

“Creep,” I snickered, peeking over him to look at the clock. “Shit, it’s already 11am!”

“Was there something you had to do before now?” he asked, confused by my sudden disappointment.

“Not particularly. But this place serves free breakfast until 10 and I missed it. I’m sure the food here is to die for.”

“Well, how long are you staying? I’m sure you can catch it another day.”

I wasn’t quite sure how long I would be there for, so I decided not to answer and to just focus on the last part of what he said.

“But I want breakfast now,” I whined. I was mostly joking, but I really was pretty hungry.

“There’s always Jordan’s,” he shrugged.

“Jordan’s?”

“Yeah. Usually most places in Bar Harbor close for breakfast early, but Jordan’s serves breakfast until 2pm. They’re usually closed in March and don’t open until April, but they announced that they were opening early this year because of the good weather. Usually it’s still pretty cold at this time of year, but with temperatures in the forties, that’s pretty good for March. They specialize in everything blueberry.”

“Sounds perfect. Let’s go!”

I hopped out of bed and immediately regretted it, the soreness very prevalent between my legs. I did my best to ignore it as I bent down to open my suitcase.

“Need a toothbrush? I packed two by some miracle,” I laughed, turning to see that he had already slipped into his boxers and was just buttoning his jeans.

Boy, he looks good just like that.

“That’s how you should go to breakfast,” I said, biting my lip and checking him out. Hard.

“Oh yeah? You’ll keep me warm?” He walked over to me, sliding his hands from my hips to my bottom. He cupped me there and squeezed, lifting me slightly off the ground and I closed my eyes, releasing a soft moan.

“More like you’ll keep me warm, doing things like that…”

“Oh, trust me. It’s working for me, too,” he chuckled, taking my hand and placing it on his crotch. His cock was engorged, and a thrill shot through me.

Fuck…

And then my stomach growled. We both burst out laughing at the timing.

“I mean I’m hungry for that, too, but it seems my stomach is demanding food at the moment,” I giggled.

“Alright, why don’t you get dressed, then, and I’ll take you up on that toothbrush,” he said, taking one from my hand and disappearing into the bathroom. “Holy shit!”

“What?” Thinking there was something wrong, I ran to the bathroom.

“You have a jacuzzi in here?”

“He wasn’t kidding when he said it could fit two people,” I snorted and Ramon gave me a puzzled look. “Oh, the guy who showed me to my room. Old guy. Nothing to be worried about.”

“And who’s to say I’m worried?” he laughed.

“You never know,” I smiled and shrugged, leaving the bathroom to go get dressed. I heard the water at the sink start.

I pulled out a yellow V-neck long sleeve shirt and a pair of navy blue leggings, and after getting dressed, I brushed my hair and thanked the heavens I wasn’t a make-up person.

I wonder if he likes girls who wear make-up, though…I thought, heading to the bathroom so I could brush my teeth. He was just zipping his pants and flushing the toilet.

“Oh sorry! I guess I should have said I was coming in,” I giggled as he put the toilet seat down and went to wash his hands.

What a gentleman.

“It’s okay. Nothing you haven’t seen, eh?” He chuckled, drying himself with the hand towel. He bent down to kiss me, but I put a finger to his lips.

“I have this thing where I can’t kiss people until we have both bushed our teeth.”

“That’s understandable.” I was happy he took the small rejection easily, and I would be sure to make it up to him as soon as I was done brushing my teeth. As I turned the water on, he disappeared from the bathroom to finally put his shirt on.

What a shame.

When I was done brushing my teeth, I headed back into the bedroom and grabbed my leather jacket that was still on the floor. I thought about picking up the other clothes that were scattered about, but decided to handle it when I got back.

“Ready to go?” He smiled. “You look great.”

I beamed as I grabbed both sets of keys. “Now I’m ready,” I said, as I reached up for his face and pulled it closer to mine, engaging his lips in a deep kiss. Handing him the keys to the Audi, I told him, “Your turn to drive.”

His face lit up and his jaw dropped. “Really?”

“Yeah. I figured it’d be faster for you to drive than to have me put it into my GPS,” I shrugged. He kissed me again and practically ran down the stairs like a kid on Christmas morning, and it was the most adorable thing I had ever seen. I locked the room behind me and headed down the stairs to my car. When I got there, he was already in the driver’s side with a huge grin on his face. I laughed to myself as I got into the passenger side.

“Now, let’s see what this baby can do.”
