The Librarian (The Rulers of Darkness MC Book 1) by Belle Winters (17)

Addilyn

Ms. Rosa, the lady that worked in the office came into my classroom. “Ms. Patel, I’m going to need Addilyn Porter. She’s being picked up early today for a doctor’s appointment.”

My teacher turned to me. “Alright Addilyn. Please go with Ms. Rosa and finish this chapter for homework. We can go over what you missed tomorrow.” She said.

I frowned and packed up my book bag. I didn’t remember having a doctor’s appointment today. Nobody said anything to me about it. I walked out the door and shrugged to myself. It’s probably Sy being crazy. Sia had come down with the flu over the weekend and had been sick. He was being so dramatic about it and it was driving her crazy. Me too for that matter because he’s been cooking refusing to let her in the kitchen. It was so bad, but I was sick of grilled cheese and baked chicken.

Last night, she said she was feeling much better and back to normal. Sy had decided for her that she needed another day to rest up just to be sure it was gone. I guess now he wanted to take me to the doctor to make sure I hadn’t caught it. I felt perfectly fine though, he was crazy. But the man was growing on me.

I walked into the office and looked around. There were a few people in there and none of them was Sy… or Sia. I went to Ms. Rosa. “Ms. Rosa, I thought you said I was being picked up.”

She nodded. “Yes. Your mother is right over there, didn’t you see her?” she asked.

I frowned. No, I didn’t recognize anyone. Just then, a woman with a pudgy stomach and yellowish looking skin walked up. Her blonde hair was stringy and thin. She looked sick or something, I wasn’t entirely sure. Her clothes looked worse than mine used to, and didn’t really seem to fit her. Not like the way the women at Sy’s club dressed… but like too small for her.

“Addilyn?” she asked, and I noticed what looked like a bit of mold on her yellowish teeth. The ones she still had. I gave a short nod, I was confused. “Let’s go.” She said and grabbed my arm.

I frowned and my heart starting beating like crazy. Kind of like how it used to when I knew I upset Aunt Maggie and I didn’t know what she was going to do to me. “I – I don’t know y – “

I was cutoff when her grip tightened, and pain shot through my arm. I hissed between my teeth. Ms. Rosa looked up. “Go ahead on with your mother dear. We’ll see you tomorrow.”

It felt like everything froze. My mother? I didn’t know this woman and my mother left me a long time ago. I opened my mouth to tell that to Ms. Rosa, when the woman’s nails dug deeper into my skin. I’m pretty sure I had to be bleeding. She pulled me into her and leaned down. “Do not open your mouth or you will be sorry little girl. Now let’s go, and put a damn smile on your face.”

I didn’t know what to do. I was scared and although I knew Sy would protect me, he wasn’t here and there was no way for me to talk to him. I had no choice but to do with the woman was saying. I let her drag me out of the building and was surprised to see the expensive looking car she led me to. She opened the door and I got in and she followed behind me. That’s when I noticed the man behind the wheel.

When he pulled off, curiosity got the best of me. “Who are you really?” I asked.

She looked at me with a face of disgust. “Didn’t that bitch already tell you?” she asked.

I shrugged. “She said my mother, but my mother left me a long time ago. She never came back.” I told her letting her know that I didn’t believe her.

She shook her head. “They ID and shit in there. They wouldn’t have let you go unless they had proof. I showed them my ID, same as the one on your birth certificate.”

I frowned, that just couldn’t be right. She saw my look and groaned annoyed. “Here look.” She said as she dug into her pocket and thrust a card my way.

I read it and sure enough there was my mother’s name with a picture of the woman next to me. In the picture though, she didn’t look so bad… it must be old. “So… you’re my mother? And you came back for me?”

I was a bit excited. All my life, I thought that mom didn’t love me, and she just left me. That I would never see her again and she wouldn’t come back for me. But here she was in the flesh. I didn’t want to lose Sy or Sia, but I would want to know my mom. She looked bad, but hopefully she was good and nice. Not like Maggie.

She laughed hard like I’d made the funniest joke. “I gave birth to you if that’s what you mean, but I ain’t got no kids. Never wanted any. You was supposed to be my meal ticket but your damn daddy left me.”

I frowned. That hurt, bad. “Then what do you want with me?” I asked. My fear was rising quickly.

“Turns out you were good for something after all. I need some money and your dear old dad is rolling in dough. Imagine my surprise when I learned he’d taken you in and all. I’m sure he’d be willing to pay to have your snot nose back.” She rolled her eyes. “I don’t know why. I mean, he wouldn’t even keep me and I’m much more useful to him.” She eyed me up and down. “What’d you do that he cares?” she asked.

I shrugged. “He’s my father.” Was all I had. That’s why he came to find me in the first place.

She brushed it off. “Oh well. It’s his choice; I just need to get paid. When we get where were going I’m gonna need you to tell me how to reach dear old daddy.”

“What if I don’t want to help you?” I asked.

Her eyes narrowed to slits and I could tell she was angry. “You listen to me you little fucking brat. I don’t care who you think I am to you or who ya daddy is. If you don’t help me, I ain’t got no use for you. I will kill you, do you understand me little girl? I need this money, and if I have to find him myself then I will. He won’t know you’re dead until I have my money and am long gone.” She leaned back. “You get me?” she asked.

My own mother would kill me. It was a shock and still not so much. I don’t know why at any point I thought anything good about this. I nodded. “I understand.”

She sat back in the chair. “Good.”

The rest of the ride was silent as I prayed that Sy would save me from her. Something told me, she wanted me dead one way or another. Her jealousy showed fierce when she spoke about my father not wanting her but wanting me.

Psycho

Shit.

I was twenty minutes late to pick up Addie. Some fucking moron decided to get himself brained in a car accident and they shut down two lanes. Getting here was fucking hell. I made my way straight to the office where they keep the kids who hadn’t been picked up. I scanned the boys and girls who were sitting there with their backpacks waiting. No doubt their parents were stuck in the same shit storm I just escaped. Not that I followed all traffic laws to do so.

When I didn’t see Addie, I went to the receptionist. “Hi, I’m here to pick up Addilyn Porter.” I told her.

She frowned. “Oh, her mother already picked her up.” She said.

I nodded. “Thanks.”

I left the office and began making my way back outside. I couldn’t help but laugh. She called Siarra her mother. I mean, I can understand it I guess. She sure acted like it. Not to mention I’m sure she heard the stories of all the hell that little bitch raised in this building. She was definitely a wild one.

I was going to kick her little ass too when I got home. I specifically told her to keep her butt in the bed for the day and what’s she do? Goes to pick Addie up from school. If the school called her ass, she should’ve called me. Hell, Addie probably asked them to call her. Sneaky little fuckers.

When I got to the house I frowned when I didn’t see Addie sitting at the table doing her homework. I went upstairs and found Siarra in the bed watching TV. She looked up and when she saw me she scowled.

“Oh. You’re back.” She said.

Yea, she’s been annoyed with me since she been sick but fuck if I care. “Yea I’m here. Now tell me if you would father me spank you or choke you?” I asked.

She frowned. “Now what?” she asked.

I put my hands on my hips. “Didn’t I tell you to keep that ass in the bed all day?” I asked.

She gestured to the bed with a frustrated look that clearly said, ‘that’s what I’m doing’.

“Then how do you qualify going to the school and picking up Ad staying in bed?” I asked. Yea bitch you’re caught.

She frowned and looked at me confused. That’s when the first bit of unease sliced through me. My gut churned, and I knew right away that something wasn’t right. “What… what are you talking about?” she asked as she started to get out of bed. I could hear the fear in her voice as she spoke.

I knew the answer to the question already, but I had to torture myself and ask to hear it said out loud. “You didn’t pick up Addie today, did you?”

She paled and shook her head no. my stomach dropped, and I was turning and heading for the door. Siarra was trying to pull on clothes as she followed behind me. “Sy, what’s going on? Where’s Addie? Where are you going? What happened? I’m freaking out here…”

I opened the front door. “Stay here, I’ll call you. I’m going to find her.” I promised as I ran to my bike. I was moving in the next second, a frightened Siarra calling after me.

I was moving on autopilot. It only seemed like seconds before I was running up the stairs and banging on the door. I had no fucking patience and I was ready to snap. “OPEN THE FUCKING DOOR!” I roared.

I immediately heard the lock move and I shoved the door open. It collided with something, and I couldn’t give a fuck what it was. My gaze swung until it landed on Maggie with her head back holding her nose trying to stop the blood. I advanced on her like a lion that hadn’t eaten in weeks.

“Where the fuck is Addie?” I asked.

She didn’t answer me and instead made her way through the house where she grabbed a tissue and brought it to her nose. I slapped her hand down. “Where is my daughter?” I asked.

When she still didn’t answer and tried to tend to her nose I was done. My hand wrapped around her neck and I had her pinned against the wall, legs dangling. She choked and gasped before putting her hands up in surrender.

“I let you go and you start talking. If you don’t I will put a bullet in your fucking brain.” I promised her.

She nodded. I released her, and she fell and crumpled to the floor. She took in two long breaths, and then spoke. “Shelly…” she gasped and tried to get more air in. “She came by.”

I could feel the blood drain from my face. That’s not exactly where I pictured this conversation going. What the fuck does that bitch have to do with anything? Even though I’m telling myself this, true fear for the first time in my life gripped me with iron fists. “What about her?” I asked through clenched teeth.

“She came here, she was asking about them checks that I get for Addie. How much they was and stuff. When I told her, she just kept saying it wasn’t enough. She asked me for money, but I ain’t got none.” She shook her head. “Then this man comes in with a gun. He tells her, go find the girl. So, then Shelly goes through the whole house looking for her while he kept his gun on me. When she ain’t find her, she came back to me and ask where she was.”

She actually fucking had the nerve to tear up. “I didn’t like the girl or having her around and shit. I mean, she wasn’t mine… I didn’t have a baby, but I had one in here. But, when the man said that if she ain’t get the money she owed him he was gonna take the girl and make her pay the debt. I ain’t all that smart but I know what that meant. He was gonna prostitute her. I didn’t want that. She ain’t ask to be Shelly’s daughter.”

She sighed. “So, then they kept asking where she was, and I figured well, she was with you and all. No fucking way that they be able to get her through the MC. I mean hell; I knew she would be scared to try to. So, I told her. I let her know that you knew about her and you came for her and was keeping her.” She squeezed her eyes shut. “Then she fucking lost it. She was saying all types of shit like how come you don’t want her, but you wanted Addilyn and all types of stuff. She was so jealous. I thought she was high as fuck but I’m not so sure. She was desperate and crazy.”

She looked me in the eyes. “They was asking where else they can find her besides your club. I swear I didn’t tell them nothing, just said I don’t know. I ain’t talk or see either of you ever since. I knew she could find her at school or that library with that woman, but I didn’t. Then she started going through my stuff and found a flyer to the school. They still send me shit. She took that, and they just left.”

I was in a full-on rage and I couldn’t believe that for once, Maggie had actually done something right for my daughter. For that, I wouldn’t kill her ass right here right now. I just gave her a nod and left. As I was getting on my bike my phone rang. Tank.

“Yo.”

“Prez, what the fuck is going on?” he asked.

I frowned. What did he know? Then I heard it in the background. “Fucking serious shit. I want everyone back there stat. we need to have church and move ASAP.”

“Man, Siarra is here and she’s bugging the fuck out. You on your way?” he asked.

“Yea, be there in 20. Make sure everyone is there ready and fucking sober. It’s about Addie; we need to ride the fuck out now.” I told him and disconnected.

I made it to the club in 15 minutes. I walked through the door and I didn’t even see her coming. Siarra was on me beating my chest. Her face was red and puffy, and she was screaming shit out at me so fast I couldn’t understand her. I grabbed her to chill her the fuck out. I was barely holding it together I couldn’t take her losing it.

“Babe, chill. Just come with me.” I said as I led her to the table where all the men were already seated. I put her in my seat as I paced, I was too strung out to sit.

“Alright mother fuckers listen up. My ex – Shelly – Addie’s mother went to the school today and kidnapped her.” Siarra flew out of her seat and I put a hand on her shoulder and forcefully pushed her back into it. “From what her aunt told me, she’s running around with some guy and they’re looking for money. I’m assuming she owed him because he mentioned taking Addie and using her to make money to repay her debt.” The entire table went up in an uproar. The anger and violence in the room increased tenfold.

“Now, I want my girl back and I want both those fuckers in the underworld.” The room broke out in cheers and hoots.

My phone rang. Unknown caller. I quieted the room and took the call.

“Talk.”

“Well hello there lover.” Shelly’s voice came through the line.

I immediately pictured myself choking the life out of her. “Fuck is this?” I asked playing dumb.

The line went quiet, yep I got her ass. “Shelly.” She hissed. “You know, your baby momma.” She said with a ton of fucking attitude.

“What do you want?” I asked.

She laughed. “Didn’t you notice something was missing?” she asked.

I wanted to growl and choke her ass. “What you talking about, get to the fucking point bitch.”

She made a sound like a puppy that just got kicked. Can’t wait to actually do that shit. “Well, I have our daughter.” She was pissed now and wasn’t trying that seductive shit anymore. “I was $50 grand for – “

She was cut off and I heard some talking the background and then a male voice came onto the phone. “Hello?”

“Who is this?” I demanded.

He ignored me. “You know, when Shelly said that her baby father was good for the money I thought she was giving me another one of her lies. Imagine my surprise when I find out that her baby father was none other than the infamous Psycho of the Rulers of Darkness.” He chuckled softly. “Well, she’s owed me for quite some time and I have spent more time and energy for this bitch’s repayment than I care to admit. I believe that I am owed for all of that plus interest. Let’s make this an even million and you can have the girl back.”

“Fuck you.” I growled.

He just laughed which pissed me off further. “Why I am quite flattered by your offer, I would rather not. However, now that I’ve got a look at the girl she would be pretty sweet for my clients. If you would rather not pay, then I’m sure I can make well over a million off of her. I mean, how old is she? 10 maybe. I have years to make money off of her before she’s of no use.” He said.

Every muscle in my body was prepared to fight. “I’ll give you the fucking money, where am I supposed to meet you?” I asked.

The mother fucker was still laughing. When I got my hands on him, he was going to fucking pay. “Ahh, we will send instructions on where to leave the money. Then once we have the cash, I will give you the address to find your daughter.”

I didn’t fucking like this. If I ever heard of a setup this was definitely one of them. “Alright.” I agreed. “Tell me.”

“I will text all of the instructions to you shortly. Any misstep and you’ll never see the girl again.” He promised.

Mother fucker. “Send it.” I said and hung up.

I went about explaining the call to the room. Everyone, especially Siarra was on edge. I could tell she was trying to hold it together for me and Addie, but it wasn’t fair. I didn’t need to make the drop for another 3 hours.

He texted me the instructions to deposit the cash in a duffle bag in a locker about thirty minutes from here. I grabbed Siarra’s hand and led her to my room. She immediately sat down and looked at me with sad and hurt eyes.

“Babe.” My voice was raspy.

“Oh Sy. Addie…” she said then broke out in tears.

I walked over to her and went to my knees in front of her and began trying to wipe away the stream of never-ending tears. “I know.” I told her.

She was sobbing now. “I’m so scared. We have to get her back. I swear we do. I can’t imagine…” she broke out into fresh tears.

Fuck if this wasn’t tearing me up inside. “Reinita, you’re strong babe and so is Addie. She will be ok, and we will get her. What she needs is for you to be the Pinche puta that she knows. Bring that shit in. what we need is the bitch that scares the fuck out of badass murderous mother fucking men. What I want to see if the sexy bitch that I go home to every night and gives me hell. Babe, I don’t wanna give them hell, I wanna send them to it.” I told her.

“Alex… I want to. I really do. But I’m just – “

I cut her off. “Fucking tell me that you’re scared again, and I might fucking throw you off the roof. You’re not scared babe, you’re pissed. And that’s ok. Be pissed. My old lady would never let her fear override her crazy.”

Her head popped up and she looked at me weird. “What’d you say?” she asked.

“My girl would never let fear dominate her crazy.” I repeated.

She shook her head. “No. you said old lady.”

I frowned. I know I didn’t, but what the fuck. “Whatever you want.” I relented. I needed her to be her best.

She ran her hands through my hair. “We’re getting her back.” She said hesitantly.

I nodded. “Yes.”

She grew more bolden. “We’re not going to lose her.” She said.

I agreed. “We’re not.”

“We are going to do anything and everything possible to have her back home. Because fuck me, I’m going to kick her mother’s ever-loving ass.” She said.

Woah. I looked at her face and it was something I never saw before, and it frightened me. I didn’t like the fuck it vibe I was getting off of her. I understood it, but I don’t want it from her. “Siarra, maybe you need to relax a bit. Let us handle it.” I tried.

She stood and looked at me in disgust. “What are you trying at Alex? I’m serious. I know I wear suspenders and stuff, but I can kick ass. I might not be any badass biker, but I have every right to be pissed. It’s been years since I’ve been riled up. It’s not what I’m about… that doesn’t mean I don’t have it in me.”

I looked at her in her math pajamas and couldn’t help but disagree. “Look I appreciate it. But babe, I’m going to need for you to go home and wait.”

She growled. “Oh-ho. You have lost your ever-loving mind. Addie is just as mine as she is yours. We are a family you stupid jerk and there is no way that I’m not going to be there. Accept that or I’m out of this whole plan of yours.”

As much as I liked her backbone, there was no way she was going to be involved. “I’m sorry Siarra, but I am going with a strong fucking no.” I told her.

She shrunk back hurt and nodded. “Well alright.” She stood. “I’m just going to head home.” She said.

She went towards the door and I caught her arm for a kiss. At the last moment, she moved her head giving me her cheek. I get it, she was mad, but I wasn’t gonna bend on this shit. “I’ll see you later?” I asked.

She nodded but her mind seemed to be elsewhere. “Yes, of course.” She said as she left.

Siarra

Oh, Psycho can totally suck it. If he thought for a second that I was going to just sit back and watch he was confused. I was going to be all over this bitch like white on rice people. It was going down. They’re sitting there being idiots doing what they said, and what they need is someone taking control of the situation. I get it, I really do. Do what you can for Addie, give the douches what they want but that was not what I was going to do. Heck no.

I pressed the button to unlock my car. Crap, the color is too noticeable. I turned around and scouted my options. I eyed Psycho’s jeep but thought against it. My eyes fell on his bike. I had a copy of all his keys after all, so I should have a copy of that on this ring. As much as I despise it, it might be best for what I have in mind.

I twirled them in my hand with a grin as I walked to it. After trying three keys, one actually turned. I smiled to myself, I was doing this. “So, bitch do it.” I whispered to myself as I put on the helmet and steadied myself. This is totally happening Sia, get with the program. With that said to myself I was ready to make shit happen.

I got onto the bike and after some tricky maneuvers I got the hang of it. Of course, I almost fell off the bike about five times, but eventually I was able to get onto the road. The first thing I did was go home. Knowing what I was going to do, I would stick out like a sore thumb if I was just going around in pajamas and serious bed head. I hopped in the shower and did a quick wash before damn near emptying my closet looking for the outfit that Michelle – one of my best friends – made me buy.

Of course, it was at the back and bottom of my closet, but I found it. After squeezing into it, I blew out my hair until it was pin straight. I took out my dusty makeup case and my God forsaken contacts and went to work. When I was done I scanned myself in the mirror. The shirt was black and sleeveless, it wrapped around my neck and the area between my neck and breast was mesh and see through giving a clear view of my cleavage. This was paired with a pair of dark blue jeans that were extremely tight. I mean, I could see every one of my curves perfectly on display. And then yes, I am wearing the knee-high heeled black leather boots. My makeup was light but had the desired effect; thankfully I still remembered how to do it. I had to throw some eyeshadow on since I was going without the glasses.

I grabbed my leather trench that hit mid-thigh – another present from Michelle – and then I was gone. I knew that I was going to get there early, but that was the point. Considering I just committed grand theft auto and if Psycho got pissed enough, I could be facing jail time I needed to tread carefully. I parked his bike in the lot to the shopping center that was two blocks away.

They planned for Trip to drop off the duffle to the locker and wait around to see who picks it up. Well I would be waiting too. I was very unsettled with this entire plan; it all seemed to be too good to be true. Too simple. This guy was apparently into organized crime, he should be well aware that they’d want his head on a platter, so he’d try his hardest that they don’t find out.

I went into the mall and found myself a suitcase. I picked up a sweat suit, a pair of sunglasses and a magazine and after paying I loaded it into the bag. I made my way to the airport and found the locker that Trip was supposed to put the bag. I found an empty seat that wasn’t directly next to it but still perfectly in my line of sight. I put my suitcase next to me and pulled out the magazine. I began pretending to read through the gossip rag as I kept my full attention on the locker.

It felt like forever, but eventually Trip dropped off the blue duffle bag into the locker. He wandered off and I waited. I checked the time, 7:52. It was supposed to be picked up at 8pm. I waited and waited, then finally at 8:17 a man walked in and up to the locker. He had a red suitcase with him. He went into the locker, grabbed the bag and walked off the opposite direction of the exit. I frowned as I watched him disappear into the men’s room. He stayed in there for about ten minutes before he came back out. I tracked his movements and then it dawned on me. He didn’t have the red bag.

My head swung back to the men’s room and I only had to wait five minutes before a young woman exited, with the bag. Ahh. I let my eyes find the man as he strolled out of the airport and Trip carefully following him. I stood, and power walked out of the airport. Once I broke free, I figured I had about two minutes before I needed to be back to trail her. I broke out into a run back to Psycho’s bike and was practically wheezing by the time I got there. I didn’t waste any time hopping on and getting back to the airport. I was happy it was dark because I wouldn’t be able to sit by the entrance otherwise.

I pulled out my phone to check the time, crap. I had 17 missed calls and who knows how many voicemails and text messages. I had 39% left on my battery so decided to turn it off. With the way that Sy was calling me, it would be dead in no time. It took me longer than I hoped to get back and I scanned the huge space desperately trying to find the girl. That Goddamn bag must be my lucky charm because that was what I recognized. I realized I looked at the girl three times already and hadn’t recognized her. When the bag was in my line of sight however I knew. I watched as she made her way to an idling car and realized as she loaded it in that there was a man in the driver’s seat, and I could tell from his jet-black hair he hadn’t been the redhead from before. I waited for them to pull off and followed behind them hoping that they wouldn’t catch me.

Psycho

I was on edge and I couldn’t keep still. I was losing my fucking mind. Trip followed the fucker while I waited for the damn location. Once that came in, I gave him to go head and he approached him. Turns out, he was some fucking fiend out idiot who got paid $100 to get the duffle and swap it out to a suitcase and give it to a girl in the men’s room. I don’t give a fuck if he didn’t know what he was getting himself into; he needed to pay for his involvement. I ordered Trip to take him back to the club for me to take care of later.

Now we had shit but the Goddamn address. I ate up the road like my ass was on fire and got to the address. I kicked the door down and was met by a shrieking Shelly. We turned the place upside the fuck down but there was nothing. The only thing that even said Addie had been there was her book bag. I interrogated the shit out of the dumb bitch, but she was too highed up to be of any use. Although I was ready to pop one in her, I needed the bitch to talk. So, we took her ass back to the club.

Once we had the two fuckers on ice, I ran back to Siarra’s place concerned. I knew she wasn’t going to take the news well, but she had a right to know. And I was going to do my fucking best to reassure her. That was the plan anyway.

But no. The first hint was there was no car or bike in the driveway. The second was the complete stillness in the house. I knew she wasn’t there, but I sure as fuck searched for her all up and down the place. I tried calling and texting her a million fucking times but no answer. Now both of my bitches were gone and fuck me, I wasn’t handling shit like a fucking Prez ought to.

“Yo Psycho, I know this is a lot and Siarra going rogue doesn’t help but I need you to reign it in, so we can find them.” Tank said.

I fucking knew that but every time I calmed the fuck down I was reminded of this shit show and was instantly mad as fuck again. I took a deep breath. “Look I know. Hit up the Sheriff and see if he could get a trace on the call even though I’m sure it’s going to lead to that crack whore.” I said. On second thought… “See if he can get a trace on Siarra’s ass too.” I told him.

“I’m on it.” he said before leaving.

I was fucking worried now. Not sure if they found out that we dropped fake cash. Did they take Siarra too? Are they going to hurt one of them because of it? This shit sure as hell wasn’t supposed to get this far. I realized a bit too late that whoever this motherfucker was has to be in the crime game. He’d practically admitted to being into prostitution and shit, no wonder the fucker thought he had balls of steel. No regular mother fucker in his right mind would come against me head on with this fuckery.

I tried Siarra again and now the call went to voicemail. I growled. When I got my hands on her I was going to fucking brain her. Swear to fuck.

I had all my men out with their ears to the ground. Interrogating the junkies and the rats for information. I mean, if she owed money to some big-time mother fucker, he sure as hell had to of asked around about her. Someone had to know where she was getting her fixes and shit from. I hadn’t even known she was back around which brings another chilling thought… what if they wasn’t even from around here?

I sent out the word that they needed to ask if there were any new faces around lately dealing with any drugs, bitches, guns… fucking anything illegal. Shit if I could even get a face that would help me. I could have the local cops we got in our pocket to find out shit. If he’s the type of person I’m thinking, he’d have to be on the Feds watch list like my ass.

The waiting was the worse. Every few minutes I’d find myself calling Siarra and wondering where the fuck they could have Addilyn. I was checking in with my bro’s, but we were pulling nothing but dead ends. Fuck, even the lovely Sheriff ain’t have shit for me. He couldn’t even track damn Siarra cause her phone was off.

Everything was pissing me off and I was ready to fucking slaughter something. And then, almost like Tank was reading my mind he spoke. “Prez, I think those two are sobered and awake. They’re all yours.”

I grinned as I made my way to the holding room. On my way there, I stopped at the station that held all types of toys. I thought about the two fucks in the room and knew what I wanted to do.

I made my way into the room and eyed the two of them. Shelly opened her mouth, “Psycho, this is just a misunderstanding ya know?”

I placed my toys down on the table in the room and crossed my arms. “Yea, what exactly am I misunderstanding?” I asked.

I watched her swallow. “All of it. Addie wanted to come with me. He took her away from me, made me do it.”

I shook my head. I wasn’t wasting my time with this bullshit. I turned to the redhead first and crouched down in front of him. “Who the fuck are you?” I asked.

“I’m… I’m Ch – Charlie.” He stuttered.

I nodded. “Do you know who the fuck I am Charlie?” I asked.

He nodded. “Yes… everyone knows who you are.” He said.

“Do you have any idea what you did?” I asked.

He shifted uncomfortably. “No… I don’t know why I’m here and what’s going on. I ain’t do anything I swear.”

I tsk’d him. “You did. You got in the way of something and now my daughter is gone.”

He went white as a sheet. “I don’t know nothing about your daughter.”

I sighed and stood as I walked to the table. I grabbed my favorite knife and without any warning I slit his throat. Blood splattered on the both of us as he began to garble on his blood. Shelly screamed from beside me and I turned my attention to her.

I kept the knife in my hand as I spoke. “Now, I want to know everything do you understand me?” I asked.

She shook her head. “I don’t know anything.”

I nodded, alright bitch. “I think I need to get you a more comfortable chair.” I cut the ropes binding her wrists and legs and led her over to Spikey. When her eyes landed on it, she began shaking her head and trying to fight against me.

“Please, no. Don’t put me on that thing.” She said.

I gripped her tight and forced her down onto the chair. She screamed from the pressure, but that was her own fault. She could’ve just sat down on her own. The entire armchair is laced with spikes. They would be penetrating every inch of her body that touched the chair. They weren’t long enough to penetrate and hit any organs or anything, but it was painful.

I strapped her to the chair across her chest, wrists, and finally her legs. When I was done, her face was etched in pain and she was shaking. “Are you cold, in pain or is that just withdrawal?” I asked.

She grimaced. “Pain.”

I nodded and pulled up a chair. “Now, you’re going to talk. For every time you give me a bullshit answer or none at all, I’m going to twist this lever here. It’s going to tighten all of the straps bringing you more firmly into the chair.”

Her eyes went wide. “Now, tell me everything.”

She was still going with denial. “I don’t know – “

She finished in a scream because I moved the dial. “Alright, alright. Look. I was staying out in Georgia. He runs a drug cartel that I used to get my fixes from. I ain’t have no money and I wasn’t getting any business so I went to him and asked if they would you know give me some and I’ll pay them back. He offered me some work instead, set me up on the other side of town.”

She shook her head. “I was making money and I was giving him his cut. Then I figured I wasn’t his employee and shit I was doing all the work so I ain’t needa give him shit.” I gripped the back of my neck; I saw where this was going. “Well he came looking for me eventually saying I owed him bout $50,000. See I ain’t know that they were all his people, so he knew how much I was making and stuff.”

“Get to the fucking point; I don’t give a fuck about you selling your ass for cash.” I told her.

She flinched like I’d hit her, well fuck her. “He threatened me to pay up. I ain’t have it, I blew it all already. So, I came to Maggie… I told him that my sister should have it since I know she gets them checks for my daughter. It wasn’t until we got into town he said that if I couldn’t pay up he was gonna take her and make some cash off of her ass.” She had the fucking nerve to shrug. “I figured that was ok, I mean I didn’t want her and neither did Maggie really.”

My blood was boiling; this bitch has got to have a death wish. She continued, “I was surprised when she said you had her… cause I mean look at me. You ain’t even want me fuck you would want with that little bitch.” She sneered at me. “Are you making money off her? Are you fucking her?” she had the fucking audacity to say.

I growled. “What is his name?” I asked.

She arched and eyebrow and gave me a cocky grin. “Wouldn’t you like to know?”

I reached down and turned the nob twice. She let out a loud long scream. I waited for her to shut the fuck up. I turned the nob again as I repeated myself. “Name?”

“ACID!” she screamed out. “Fuck, his name is Acid.”

I stood, done with this bitch. “Where is he?” I asked.

She shrugged. “I dunno. He said he was gonna bring the bitch back to me when he got the money. Ain’t hear back from him ever since.”

“Is he staying here?” I asked.

She nodded. “I think for a little bit. He had a business thing he had to do while he was here.”

That was all I was going to get from her. I stood and brought the knife down into her hand. “You got the fucking nerve to take my daughter?” I asked.

I pulled the knife out and plunged it through her other hand. “To fucking talk about her like that, you got yourself knocked up.”

I pulled it out and put it to her throat. That’s when she began pleading, “Don’t kill me. Think of everything we’ve been through. I’m your baby mother.”

I laughed. “You ain’t shit but a fucking crack whore. I’ll see you in Hades.” I said as I sliced through her neck.

I walked out of the room and noticed some of my brothers were back. They looked at me covered in blood and no one spoke up. “Alright, so the mother fucker is some dick name Acid from Georgia. He’s still supposed to be here, so we need to find him. Jagger, get back to the sheriff and see if he knows anything about this Acid motherfucker.”

“Prez.” He said in acknowledgement and walked off.

I took a deep breath; finally it looked like we were getting somewhere.
