Wicked Wonderland: Down the Rabbit Hole (Dark Fairy Tales Book 4) by S Cinders (46)

EPILOGUE #3 – Jay & Alice

“WHERE DO YOU THINK he’s taking her?” Alice leaned into her husband, pressing her lips against his ear so that the sound wouldn’t carry.

Jay scoffed, “He’s a healthy seventeen-year-old Jabberwocky. Where do you think he’s taking her?”

They had returned from important business with the crown only to be informed by their nine-year-old son, Dax that his older brother had snuck his girlfriend onto the island again. There was a strict policy against Reece having girls over when his parents weren't home after one of them inadvertently offended a Bandersnatch and almost became it’s lunch.

Reece had always been something of a challenge for them. Bright eyed and dark hair like his mother, but with the hulking frame of his father, Reece was every girl's wet dream. The problem was that he was well aware of it and tended to be a bit of manwhore.

Alice was mortified when she walked in on him and one of his girlfriends the first time. At this point, she was ready to lock the boy away until he could gain some semblance of decency. Jay shrugged most of it off saying that Mouse was often the same way.

But after a few cold nights on the couch, Jay quickly became more concerned about the growing problem.

Jay transitioned into his Jabberwocky and Alice climbed on his back. The familiar feeling of euphoria overtook him just as it always had when he took to the air. They soared over the jungles of the island and landed just beyond the mystic pools that lay at the bottom of the waterfalls.

I squeal of girlish laughter alerted Alice and Jay that their instincts had been correct. Reece was here with a girl. And as much as Alice didn’t want to walk into something compromising—again. She couldn’t allow Reece to get away with such a blatant disregard for the rules.

Covering her eyes, Alice forged her way feeling with an outstretched arm for anything that might be harmful, like a rock wall. Jay swallowed a smile as he watched his valiant little wife on her quest for total domination in their household. It was a whole lot adorable with a smattering of endearing that warmed his entire soul.

He loved the way Alice loved their children. Reece was seventeen, Kat would be thirteen in the fall, and Dax was nine last month. Alice, despite having a child old enough to be nearing adulthood, was just as lovely and bewitching to Jay as she had been the first time he saw her.

Noticing that she was nearing the side of the stream he quickly caught up to Alice and guided her around to the front of the falls.

“Have at it, Little Mama,” he whispered in her ear when the kids were in sight.

“Reece?” her voice cut across the pounding water and there was stillness.

“Aww, Ma? What are you doing here?”

Alice fumed, “How dare you bring a girl to the island without our permission? You are grounded, young man! Do you understand me? There will be no waterfall sex! What in the world could you possibly be thinking?”

Reece’s voice cut across the distance, “Ma, it’s not what you think!”

Jay’s arm tightened around her waist, “I think you had better open your eyes, Alice.”

She shook her head vehemently, “No thank you, I have already had enough trauma today.”

Jay snorted, “Open your eyes, Alice.”

On his command, her eyes opened and she saw her eldest child Dax was not naked nor was he with a random girl. Their daughter Kat was there in her wildcat form splashing and playing in the water.”

Alice felt a flood of embarrassment at falsely accusing their son. Reece stared at his parents with only barely concealed irritation.

“Ma, I promised Kat that I would bring her here to play. And now I have all kinds of terrible thoughts in my head because you had to accuse me of having an orgy at the falls.”

Kat tipped her furry face to the side, “What’s an orgy?”

Jay quickly interrupted, “Just a fancy name for a grown-up party.”

Reece snorted with laughter, “Yeah, a sex party.

Kat made a disgusted face and pawed at her ears as if trying to erase the words from her mind.

Jay helped Alice forward and when they reached the water he opened his arms for his daughter to launch her furry self into. She shifted into her human form once he had hold of her.

“How are you, Sugar?” he kissed the top of her head.

Kat grinned, “Good, Daddy.”

Reece and his mother were still staring daggers at each other.

“I’m not always a screwup mom,” he said finally and it seemed to deflate the wind out of her angry sails.

“I don’ think you are a screwup, Reece.”

He sighed and waded through the pools until he was able to stand beside her. Alice marveled at how tall and handsome he had become and it dawned on her that even though Reece was almost a man, he was still her little boy deep down inside.

The hint of hurt and vulnerability in his eyes pierced her heart.

“Reece,” she grabbed his hands, “You are an amazing big brother, did you know that?”

His face registered surprise on it.

“You are kind, funny, and growing up so fast that sometimes I forget to let you know the things that matter the most.”

Reece flushed a little, “I know you love me, Ma.”

She tightened her grip on his hands, “I know you do, Reece. But I am not sure you know the reasons why. I will always love you, no matter what happens, no matter what you do or say or how many times you get in trouble with girls. Nothing will change how your father and I feel about you. I’m sorry I jumped to conclusions.”

Reece smirked a little, “It’s not like I haven’t given you plenty of reasons in the past.”

Alice grinned, “Yes, well, there is that. Why don’t you take your sister back home and let your little brother know that he’s busted.”

Reece barked out a laugh, “Poor Dax!”

Settling Kat on her brother’s back, Jay and Alice watched as their children flew back toward their home. Reece’s Jabberwocky looking every inch as formidable as his fathers.

Jay slipped his hands around Alice’s waist and kissed the side of her neck.

“Are you okay?” he murmured against her skin.

She turned into his arms and reached up to cup his cheeks, “Everything is perfect.”

He kissed her then, his mouth taking hers in a way that was familiar and exciting at the same time. Alice marveled at the way this man could bring her to her knees time and time again. She felt the spark of pleasure building with each brush of his tongue.

Jay’s hands slipped to the front of her black corset and began to undo the hooks.

Alice gasped, “Jay, we can’t get naked here!”

He growled at nipped at her bottom lip, “We can and we will.”

Alice felt her resolve begin to weaken when his warm hands pushed the clothing off of her body and cupped her full breasts. He knew just what to do to make her brain stop working and her body take over.

“We haven’t done this since the kids were born,” her protest was breathy and far from convincing.

Jay slid his hands into her skirt and cupped the globes of her ass, “I love you, Alice. I love your crazy antics and the way that you love your kids to distraction. I love the tiny mole on the side of your mouth and the way you send me fuck-me eyes when you don’t think anyone is looking.”

Alice’s heart raced as she listened to her husband, falling in love with him a little deeper with every word.

His face had a few more lines on it than it had when they had first fallen in love. There were a few gray hairs at his temples and his scruff was littered with it. If anything it only served to make him more devastatingly attractive.

Alice threw caution to the wind and launched herself at him. They both tumbled backward into the pools the reminder of their clothes left on the banks. Jay yanked her to him and Alice made short work finding his length and sinking on to him.

They made love fast and furiously, only to do it all over again savoring every touch, kiss, and caress. When they lay together spent in the late afternoon light.

Alice peered up at Jay from where she had been laying on his chest, “You are my everything, Jabberwocky. The road wasn’t easy for us, but I wouldn’t change a thing. I love you.”

And before the sun slipped from the sky, Jay once again made love to the woman of his dreams, his Alice.
