A Reason For Everything by Nita Johnson (16)

“You're mad at me, aren't you?” I asked him once he’d carried my bag into Nan’s house.

“No, babe. Not mad, well not at you, anyway,” he replied with a slight smile. His eyes still gave him away. He was troubled over something and I was determined to find out what.

“So what's eating you then? Is it cause I went over there?” I pushed him for an answer.

“You want this taken upstairs?” He completely bypassed my question and countered with one of his own. He obviously didn't want to discuss it now and I let it drop.

“Yes please. That’d be a great help.” I walked away from him and he followed me, leading him in the direction of the bedroom I shared with Kaylee.

“You sure you got enough room in here to store this stuff?” he joked as he placed the bulging bag on my bed.

“Well you can see the answer to that for yourself, babe, but this is my life now. Needs, must, and all that,” I explained sadly although he was well aware by now the situation I am in.

“Told you, sweetheart. It won't be for long. You’ll get back on your feet. Survivor, remember? I pegged you for one right from the start and it's very rare I’m wrong,” he bragged with no shame whatsoever but I’m happy to see that the clouds had lifted from his eyes and he was back to being the laughable teasing Jesse that’s come to mean a hell of a lot to me.

“Never wrong, huh?” I quipped as I started pulling my garments out the bag, tutting for just shoving them in. Now they’d need ironing before rehanging.

“Willow do I look like a man that gets stuff wrong?” Spreading his arms wide, inviting me to take him in, he grinned.

“You look like a man who's got a big head.” I laughed as I carried on sorting through my things, the job already boring me to tears.

“A big head is definitely one thing I've got but not the one you're talking about.”

A gasp passed my lips as my head shot up from my menial task to meet his. He waggled his eyebrows when I caught onto his meaning. “You're something else Baker,” I snorted as I threw a shirt at him, smacking him in the face.

“You wanna play, baby. Is that it?” he growled as he stalked over to me, gathering me up in his arms.

“Nope, I wanna sort this shit out in time for Monday. I want to make a good impression on my first day.” I batted my eyelashes innocently at him.

“You’ve already made a great impression,” he bit out. “Fuck the clothes,” he stated as he swept the whole lot onto the floor, the bag included.

Jesse lowered me down onto my bed, hardly wide enough for us both, I doubted he noticed as he held himself over me. Using one hand he pushed my arms above my head and held them there. His free hand traced a path down my face, my neck, and going further south. He stopped when he reached the swell of my breasts that were heaving at his close attention. Moving both the strap of my tank and my bra he pulled until one breast freed itself. My nipple pebbled when it met the cool air of the room. He gently lowered himself so he was resting between my parted thighs.

“You're so beautiful, Will.”

Lowering his head he captured my nipple, whirling his tongue around and around until finally he sucked it into his mouth further making me elicit a deep moan of satisfaction.

Letting my nipple go with a pop he turned his attention to the other, meanwhile I was powerless to do anything, his other hand still holding firm onto both of mine. Not that I had any intention of stopping what he was doing. I yearned for them to be free so I'd be able to touch him in return. To show him the pleasure he was bestowing on me.

“I know you said slow, baby, and I’m all for that but please don't stop me now. Not when I have you finally where I’ve wanted you since you first opened that mouth and sassed me.”

“Don't stop. Please don't stop,” I moaned loudly. All thoughts of taking it slow drifted out of my head as he kissed down my body.

“I wanna taste you, Willow. Is that ok?”

Incapable of making a sound, I lifted my head, meeting his eyes. One nod was all it took. He pulled my pants down taking my underwear with them as I lay bare in front of him.

“Jesus, baby,” he muttered as he kissed me down there, making me feel things I’d never felt in the past. The way he used those lips and that tongue soon had an orgasm crashing through my body. All the pleasure I was feeling became too much and had me calling out his name begging him to make it stop and to make it continue. All I knew was it felt amazing and I didn't want it to end.

During my post orgasm haze I heard him unzip his pants before feeling his weight settle over me, I let out a pant when I felt him at my entrance. “If this isn't what you want, sweetheart, say it now and we can end this. At your pace, Willow. Always at your pace.”

Instead of giving him a verbal answer I threaded my hand between us, taking his length in my hand and guiding him inside me.

“God, Willow. You feel so good,” he groaned as he stroked in and out of me, his thrusts becoming harder the closer he got to his own release.

“Feels so good,” I moaned as I lifted my hips to meet him taking him deeper inside me. A few thrusts later we both reached our climax. Jesse panted above me, a light sheen of sweat covering his face. It was then I noticed he was still mainly clothed. He had literally just taken his pants and underwear down low enough to be able to enter me in his haste to start our lovemaking.

“Why the hell am I the only naked one?” I accused him with a grin on my face. Leaning down he planted a kiss on my lips. “Next time, sweetheart. Next time.” Winding my arms around his neck I pulled him down and kissed the hell out of him. This sweet man had wormed his way into my life and into my bed and now he was creeping his way into my heart.

Jesse broke the kiss first. “As much as I really wanna spend the day in bed with you, such a tiny bed at that,” he winked causing me to laugh, “I have to get back to work. Travis will have my balls if I call off for the rest of the day.”

“I understand, baby. Anything I can help you with?” Playing with his hair I smiled up at him. I'd do anything to help ease the pressure he must be under at the site.

“Nah, Will. Having you around me today after I’ve just been inside you would distract me more than help me. Monday will be here before you know it and you’ll be stuck with us then.” Dropping a light kiss on my forehead he pulled out of me, getting to his feet at the foot of the bed.

Feeling a wetness on my thighs which I knew just hadn't come from me, I looked up to see his beautiful features twisted with worry.

“I’m sorry, Willow. We got carried away. I’m clean. Shit, I’m so sorry, baby.”

Reaching for my discarded clothes I started to get dressed, in desperate need of a shower once Jesse had gone back to work. He tracked my every movement, the worry still evident in his grey gaze.

“Don't worry, Jess. I’m on the pill. We’re covered.” Standing on tiptoes I kissed him deeply, showing him that there was nothing to worry about and that I wasn't worried so he shouldn't be either.

Resting his forehead against me he let out a sigh of relief. “Thank God for that.”

Just as we were about to kiss again I heard a bang on the door. “Willow, can you let me in? I forgot my key.”

Bursting into laughter we both left the room hand in hand. What started out as a shit morning turned into a brilliant afternoon.

“What took you so damn long? I'm bursting for the bathroom. I knew I shouldn't have had that last glass of port with my meal,” Nan grumbled as I opened the door for her. Jesse stood behind me just out of view.

“Nice meal was it? Are you able to make it to the bathroom or would you require a hand?” I goaded her. She'd definitely had one too many so of course I had to rib her for it. I was literally rubbing my hands with glee at the thought of her having a hangover. Yep, I really am Betty's granddaughter indeed.

“Get out of my way, Willow. I'm gonna burst.” Pushing past me she stopped dead in her tracks once she clapped eyes on Jesse who had a grin as wide as the Cheshire Cat.

Whipping her head around to me she beamed a huge smile. “Now I know what had you taking so long! Well it's about time you two did the dirty.” She faced Jesse. “‘Maybe she's going to stop acting like a crabby cow now you've seen to her. Out of my way, I can feel it coming.”

Jesse stepped to the side allowing her to scoot by as fast as she could manage when her bladder’s full to bursting. It really was quite comical to see.

“On that happy note, sweetheart. I'll see you later.” Dropping a kiss on my forehead he left going back to the site.

“Willow!” Nan hollered from the bathroom.

“Yes, Nan! I shouted back in reply.

“I want all the details when I'm done and I mean all the details!”

“Not a fucking chance in hell,” I said under my breath.

“I heard that!” she exclaimed loudly.

How in the hell?!
