Blade (Dark Monster Fantasy Book 3) by Cari Silverwood (26)

Disposing of Tiana

This occurs before the beginning of the BLADE story

“Our love of life shows in mysterious ways,” the purple nixnix bug wisely told Ledderik. Wisely, of course, because nixnixs always sounded like that. His vestigial wings fluttered as he sucked the koos-koos liqueur from the glass with his purple flexible proboscis.

So much purple and red in this dim room – in lights, reflections, on the steel and the stone walls – like swimming in juice.

Ledderik nodded and resisted scratching his neck, his crotch, or the armpit of his organic arm. The nixnix enjoyed their philosophy and theorizing. Freud would’ve had a great time studying them. Nevertheless, watching all their insect parts move in that jittery manner made him itchy, especially when seated across from one with only a low, if wide, steel table separating them.

“We have a deal then?” He sipped from his own little glass, grimaced at the taste.

Koos koos was made from the ground-up petals of a flower only found on certain moons. It reminded him of pickled sewage.

“Yes, we do.” It click-clacked a few of its many jointed limbs. Fourteen of those at least, last he counted.

They moved about so much it’d triggered his predatory instinct. He’d had to resist skewering them to the table with his dagger. Those sprouting from beneath table level were tentacle-like in flexibility, though covered in chitin.

The deal was done. A weight lifted from him. A weight arrived.

Conflicted and homicidal cyborg – that was he.

Centuries of life, with the last hundred being under Lord Zarblu’s careful mentorship, and yet now he was masterless. Also angry, annoyed, and ready to kill someone...several someones. Not good. Zarblu would be disappointed, but he felt so terribly adrift.

Violently adrift.

Zarblu had left but gifted him with a female human to torment, a sxsynthflesh cock, and a talking sword. The exchange was a poor one. His value as friend, assassin, and skilled advisor, had added up to a pitiful hunk of overly verbose, sharp metal, an artificial cock, and Tiana.

He’d thought them friends.

Ledderik resisted grinding his teeth, brought his wandering attention to heel.

The deal was done.

If a nixnix didn’t go through on a deal as promised, the galaxy would likely implode. This was partly why he’d chosen to finalize his last-of-life dealings here, with a nixnix. He wasn’t speciesist despite his aversion to their physical form.

He’d never thought he’d be the type to go with last-of-life.

Never ever. But life felt weary and dismal. Hundreds of years weighed on a cyborg.

What person with any respect for themselves would regard a cock as a reason for life?

Okay, a few, a few would be dancing on this table and fucking everything in sight, just not him.

Before Zarblu had caught him and made him re-think, dealing death had been his reason to exist.

Dust motes sifted across his vision. The wall-long opening must make cleaning this place a bitch.

Outside was a magnificent red-and-gold sunset. Beyond the window ledge was a half-a-klick drop to desert level. In here the walls were almost black and the red-emitting, overhead ceiling lights were far above. A cheerful room décor.

He grinned.

Macabre was in.

Tiana entered, bearing a tray full of tiny fleshy snacks and with a tablet tucked under her arm. The translucent fabric of a mandarin-colored dress flicked at her bare heels. Her breasts looked luscious and rounded, her nipples were perfectly outlined, and her hips...Ledderik raised a brow...fertile. The dress made love to her with every see-through thread.

Clearly, good taste in human female fashion was another nixnix trait.

He’d briefed her on the possibilities if she chose to stay then left her to discuss this with the nixnix. A day had passed and already she served him better than she’d ever served Ledderik.

He eyed her, pondering the glow on her face. For a treacherous, family-betraying nemesis she looked happy. He’d been meant to sexually torture her, if nicely.

Her sister, Mila, wanted him to, so did Lord Zarblu.

He couldn’t be bothered.

Before his sxsynthcock was attached he’d have happily tortured her, thrilled at it. Now? It seemed too menial, too obedient for a cyborg thrown away by his master.

Here, dog, have a bone. Have a dick. Pat the head of the hound then walk away.

For a second he was tempted to simply murder everyone in the room and go. The old Ledderik would have done so, smiling.

“The contract.” She placed the tablet on the table, and the nixnix slithered a few of its tentacle appendages around her waist. She seemed to barely react, but for a sliver of time he observed a thrill cross her face.

Curious. He’d heard of no arousal-inducing chemicals used by the nixnix.

Ledderik leaned forward to thumbprint the tablet doc then added a RET scan by holding the tablet to his eye. The nixnix performed the equivalent with clawed hand and one of his two multi-facetted eyes.

“Done then?”

The nixnix clicked affirmation. “We are content.”

Ledderik unfolded legs and rose to his booted feet. “Staying?” he asked the girl. “Still?”

She was. He knew this. Ever since Zarblu had set off into space with his new mate, reading Tiana’s body language had become a mild hobby. A hobby he indulged while he thought about his own cessation of existence.

His smile grew into a smirk as a slew of confused emotions crossed her face. Her mouth twitched, her gaze lowered then rose, then she cleared her throat.

“Yes.”

“She is,” the nixnix agreed. If ever there was a discernable satisfied glint in one of these critter’s globular black eyes, it was now.

It was said the nixnix treasured humans, liked to breed from them, if they could get consent, left them hanging in their reproductive caverns while they stimulated them to orgasm repeatedly, then implanted their pre-fertilized eggs. How they got consent to this baffled him.

However, it wanted her, and she wanted it, and all a nixnix could offer her.

Superb accountants, business critters, and lovers, it was rumored.

Tiana had a thing for money and no great discrimination when it came to what she’d do for living in luxury.

Lovers. Once upon a time he had dreamed of being able to have sex. From the time he was made as a soldier, three hundred years ago in the Third Dynasty War of the Mouse, he’d dreamed, but he hadn’t been assigned that role.

Now he had a cock, and it was a bitter gift.

Fuck the stoneshifter. Just...fuck him.

“Would you like to watch?” the nixnix asked.

He swiveled his focus from the nixnix to Tiana, to the nixnix, then back to her when she made some small, stifled noise.

Her eyes grew big, but she didn’t back away.

“Part of our agreement is that I get to show her off before you leave my dwelling.”

Ledderik grunted. More tentacles slithered about her, tugged her downward. A sigh left her as she went to her knees then lay across the table, her face toward him. She didn’t close her eyes and instead poked out her tongue.

Defiant bitch. She must think she’d triumphed for some reason. Baffling.

He folded his arms.

The nixnix rose over her until it lay partially covering her back. Her dress was pushed up her back until she was almost fully exposed, the nixnix clicking in delight as it reached beneath with claws and wriggled down the bodice, baring her breasts.

Tentacles and limbs swarmed over her, plunging into mouth and turning her startled grunts into splutters, coiling about her thighs and her arms The nixnix pinned her down, very firmly, as if this might not be voluntary after all.

Yet it was. He frowned.

At the rear, tentacles plunged into Tiana and rapidly screwed deeper – coveting the depths of her cunt and ass, from what he could see. The amount of hose-like appendages entering her was truly appalling yet she only moaned or choked on what filled her mouth while lifting her hips, as if to enable greater access to her ass and pussy.

He was pretty certain access couldn’t get any greater than this.

Her sounds became more chaotic, her eyes rolled up. The things shunted in and out, pumping, filling, thickening to an impossibly large girth.

An exuberant, fluid-spilling thrust took an even more in-depth exploration of her intimate holes. The table rocked and grew wet with her or the nixnix’s juices and it splattered over her thighs and back.

He retreated a step, not wishing to soil his suit and cloak.

The nixnix grinned widely with a mouth that spewed smaller tentacles. They travelled over Tiana’s curves before gripping the hills of her tits and winding around them tight, tighter, until her breasts bulged and turned bright red. Her nipples stuck out as if newly sucked then a tentacle with a mouth arrived and did indeed begin to suck.

She squealed and spluttered some more.

Ledderik tried not to look amused. After all, this was a mating ceremony.

He had an inkling as to how the nixnix had convinced her to succumb when a crooked purple limb wedged between her legs began to hum and shake.

Her screams as she orgasmed were definitely educational and she almost convinced him to make use of his dick.

He’d never seen the woman so unhinged by anything, let alone pleasure. The copious mess created by several of the tentacles left her draped in a shallow puddle, her dress thoroughly soaked and ruined, and her semiconscious and wearing a slack-lipped smile.

“Thank you,” Ledderik murmured. “May you enjoy her well and for many years to come.”

The nixnix gleamed and purred, and he could tell it was pleased. “I look forward to breeding with her. I thank you for the human.”

Breeding?

He departed through the front double entrance and waited for the aircab he’d summoned, with his feet shoulder-width apart and the cloak billowing in the breeze.

The nixnix would do as contracted – donate his possessions and money to the mech planet charity, arrange the deal with the Last-of-Life merchant on planet BART. He mustn’t forget to take the sword, Smorg, with him. He’d not decided what to do with it; after all, it was an AI, and he would never dispose of such a creature randomly. Smorg was sentient, as well as a pain in the ass.

For the last time he contemplated Tiana’s future. He was sure a life of luxury was in store for her, as well as many daily climaxes.

He smiled slowly with a little evil to tone down the glee. Though being hung up on a wall and used for breeding wasn’t a part of her agreement, he was absolutely sure that agreement was going to be renegotiated. The tablet displaying the doc would likely get a few splotches of nixnix come splattered over it on that memorable day.

The nixnix had her well in hand...make that well in tentacle and claw.

If he hadn’t felt so disengaged from his almost existential dick – did it really exist because he had no connection to it – he’d have asked if he could join the orgasmic festivities at the table.

Maybe it was the whole parting gift idea?

Or that he was three centuries old and a little late to the sex game?

Maybe he was just tired of life.

Some might say he just needed the right female to get him going.

Once he joined Last-of-Life, none of this would matter.
