Chapter Five
Angel sat at her desk and groaned silently. She hadn’t expected to be so affected by him, or it was more she expected to be more controlled. There had never been a time when a man made her feel the way her new boss did. Her legs were wobbly just by how he said her name. It was silly really. She was a grown ass woman, not some girl in high school. Even in high school she’d never felt something like this, and it was too damn soon. Sure lust was inevitable. He was damn sexy.
Angel took a deep breath and looked up the closest Chinese restaurant that delivered to the office. She ordered enough food for six and found his charge card information and read it off to the man. When she ended the call she looked up to see him leaning against the door jamb with a hand shoved in his pocket. She wasn’t sure what to make of the look he gave her, but then he smiled, and it wasn’t a cocky smirk, it was a real smile.
“You handle things well, Angel.”
“Thanks, I’ve always been this way though. Miss responsible even as I was pranking my brothers.” She shrugged.
“You’ll be able to travel for a few days correct?”
“Yes, I’ll just have to go home and pack.”
“I’ll send a car for you so you don’t have to leave yours at the office that long.”
“You don’t have to do that. I don’t mind leaving it in the lot. I’m out of the way.”
“Nope, you’ll be picked up by six in the morning. We have about a six hour drive, and then we still have to set up. The fair goes to 11, and then opens at seven the following morning. We’re going to miss part of the first day since I can’t drive us out tonight.”
“I can if you want?”
“No, you need sleep because the next four are going to be hectic. I need to in tiptop condition.”
“I’ll be fine Mr. Lockwood.”
He glared at her. “Grayson.”
Angel’s eyes widened. “I thought we weren’t going to be on a first name basis.”
He shrugged. “I’m the boss; I reserve the right to change my mind. You were right, let’s drop the formalities. I’m already too far interested anyways.”
“Oh, well okay then Grayson.”
Heat flared in his eyes, and Angel couldn’t hold back her smile. It was nice to know she affected him. It shouldn’t make her happy but it did. She’d admit he was hot, hotter than hot actually, but she knew she shouldn’t go there. Grayson Lockwood wasn’t the type to settle, and she wouldn’t settle for anything less than it all. She wanted everything, not just some dirty office affair, and as much as she thought it would be the perfect way to break into the world of intimacy, she wasn’t sure if she could do it. She had no doubt he would be a fabulous lover. He was a man who knew what he was doing. She found she liked the little vulnerabilities she’d seen though. It was as if they were meant just for her.

Dinner was done, and all the calls were made. She’d just hung up with his last client when he came in and plopped in the other chair. His tie was loose around his neck and the sleeves of his shirt were rolled up his forearm making him appear rugged. He looked good. The scent of his cologne rolled over her and she closed her eyes. She wasn’t used to her body feeling so alive. That tingle between her thighs was becoming rather annoying.
“This day was shit. I’m sorry you’re first day turned out this way.”
“It’s fine, I do well with hectic.”
“I’m done for the night and so are you. Go home and get rest, and I’ll be at your house to get you early.”
Angel stood and stretched. She didn’t miss the way Grayson’s eyes scanned her body. All day she couldn’t get out of her mind how good his back felt under her hands. She was beginning to cave to her desires and for the first time in her life as much as she wanted this job she was aching for something else more. She’d always been responsible, but with the way he looked at her she was oh so tempted to break her rules.
His eyes narrowed in on her as if he sensed her walls crumbling. When she licked her lips he groaned and in two strides was in front of her pulling her against him as he leaned down to kiss her. She closed her eyes and fell into his kiss. His lips were warm and soft, and she moaned when his tongue slid into her mouth. Electric, that’s what it felt like when his tongue touched hers.
He lifted her off the ground and sat her on the empty space of her desk and squeezed between her parted legs. A large hand cupped her jaw and his thumb grazed it gently. It was such a sweet gesture that only aroused her more. Running her hands up his chest she tugged at the buttons of his shirt. They easily came undone and then she was shoving it off of his broad shoulders. Beneath the shirt was a thin tank that she ripped from his pants and then her hands slid greedily up his muscular abdomen and caressed his chest. He shivered and shrugged out of his shirt and then pulled the tank off over his head tossing it to the floor.
“I want you,” he said and then kissed a path along her jaw and down her neck.
She moaned when his teeth grazed her flesh and shuddered. His fingers fumbled with her shirt and she leaned back watching as he undressed her. Was she really going to do this? Give her virginity to her boss, on the first day of her new job, and in the office no less? Angel was more responsible than that, and maybe that was the problem. She’d spent most of her life being relied on. With her mother’s illness her four brothers relied on her all the time regardless of the fact that she was the youngest. Everyone knew Angel would handle it. It was the reason why she was the only one looking for a way to pay her mother’s medical bills. Maybe this was her reprieve from real life?
Her shirt came loose and she was clad in her red silky bra. Grayson’s eyes lingered on the tips of her nipples poking through the thin fabric. But he didn’t linger long before his mouth covered the silk and sucked a nipple through. The satin became wet and warm and she arched her breast into his mouth begging for more. They were large and he cupped the bottom with his large hand holding her in place as he sucked and nibbled. But she wanted to feel his tongue on her flesh. She shoved him back roughly and he glared until she reached behind her back and undid her bra sliding the straps down her arms freeing herself in front of him.
Grayson licked his lips and wasted no time before his mouth was on her dark tip sucking and licking like he couldn’t stop himself. His other hand rubbed and massaged her other breast and then he licked a path between them and pulled back. “You’re beautiful Angel.”
She shook her head blushing. He kissed her slowly sensually, and she felt the beginning of something big building between her legs. She’d taken care of her own needs, but this was stronger than anything she’d felt before. She gasped and rubbed against his body. His hardness felt wonderful and the friction only caused more to ache. When he pulled back he unbuckled his belt and in two seconds his pants were off and he stood naked. Her boss went commando.
Her eyes widened at the size of his cock, and before she knew it she blurted out her secret. “I’m a virgin!”
