Casual Encounters (Men of the Vault Book 6) by Aria Grace (13)

Ronin

“Just tell me where the copies are.”

“Corey, I swear...” The gun the kid is waving in front of me makes it hard for me to keep my cool. “I don’t have anything else that has to do with you.”

Corey gestures the gun toward the sky, and I’m silently praying it doesn’t accidentally go off. When I first started visiting The Vault, Corey was one of the guys I saw regularly. He had just turned eighteen and was evidently going through his “gay” phase. I say that because he’s just informed me that he needs to make sure his new wife never sees any evidence of his past experimentations.

I wonder if she knows he used to beg for the privilege of drinking piss from my cock and to have a dildo the size of a watermelon shoved up his ass. This kid definitely had his fetishes, which is probably why he liked having me as a client. I may have been one of the few who could give him what he wanted.

Golden showers were one thing, but I wasn’t into some of the other shit he was into...literally. He asked me several times to dump a load of shit on him and then fuck him with it. I don’t know how he could get off on that, but it wasn’t my style then and definitely isn’t my style now.

But most of the time, he was a good sub who took my cock like the little slut boy he was...and probably still is. Which makes me feel bad for his wife. I hope they use protection because I doubt he’s kept up with the intense regimen of testing and preventative meds Tanner keeps his boys on.

“Look, I just need the copies of the tapes, and then I’ll leave... I can’t leave here without them.”

“I’m telling you, Corey. I don’t have them. You stole them all when you took my computer.”

“I know you have backups. You liked watching me being humiliated way too much to trust the cloud.”

He isn’t lying. I’d jacked off watching myself with Corey more than any other of the guys I’d been with, mainly because he let himself become the lowest of the low when he was with me. And that turned me on. But the guy standing in front of me now is terrifying.

But figuring out how to get myself out of this mess is turning out to be a challenge. “Corey, put the gun down, and we can talk about this. I’m sure we can work something out. But I promise you, I didn’t make any backups.”

“Man...” He seems confused for a moment, talking almost incoherently. “If they find out.”

“If who finds out?”

“Her family,” he says abruptly, as though I should be keeping up with the thoughts racing around in his mind. Clearly, the kid has become unhinged. “If they find out about what I used to do... We’ll never see a dime of her grandfather’s money.” He looks at me with a new blaze in his eyes. “It’s a shit ton of money, and we get nada if they find anything in my past that would make the family look bad. Fuck, why does she have to be a televangelists daughter…”

It takes everything inside me to hold back the laughter trying to break free at the thought of Corey marrying some evangelical’s angel of purity when not four years ago he was cleaning the sole of my boots with his tongue and practically fucking himself with the ends of them.

A thought occurs to me, but I know I have to be careful if I go for it. “Corey. Sit down.” My ton is soft, but commanding, hoping I can reach that part of him that was always such a good sub. When he doesn’t respond, I try again. “Corey. Put the gun on the table and get on your knees in front of me.”

He looks at me curiously, and for a moment, I think he’s ready to do as I say, but then he starts waving the gun around again as he paces. “She’ll kill me if they find out. So much money...”

I’m at a loss of what to do. I don’t know if the gun is loaded, but I can’t take the chance that it is. Talking to him is the only option I have. But in his current state, it will be nearly impossible to get him to listen to any type of reason. “Corey, please. Just put the gun down.”

“You aren’t paying me anymore.” His voice is desperate as he points the gun toward my chest. “You don’t call the shots.” The animalistic craze in his eye has me frightened, so I shut up immediately.

Now anything I say could land me in the hospital...or worse, six feet under.

Corey continues his crazed pacing around the living room in front of me. As I watch him, an almost undetectable motion catches my attention from my front hallway. I’m not sure who’s here, but I hope it’s not someone working with Corey.

Either way, I decide to distract him, just in case. “Corey, you want to call the shots over me? Then put the gun down and do it like a real man. Show me how you used to like it done to you.”

My words finally seem to catch his attention. I’m not sure if he really thinks I’d let him dominate me or if he believes the idea is absurd. But it works and I’m able to keep him focused on me long enough for Johnny’s thick frame to come through the doorway behind us.

Corey is too distracted to realize what’s happened before Johnny has him in a tight grip, forcing the gun out of Corey’s hand. Corey struggles, but his small frame is no match for Johnny’s huge, hulking form. The kid is restrained in Johnny’s grasp before he even had a chance to fight.

“Thank god,” I say instinctually, finally taking a deep breath now that there’s not a gun in my face.

Johnny stares at me with concerned eyes. “Are you okay? Did he hurt you?”

“I’m fine. Just a little rattled.”

Corey tries to speak, but Johnny turns him around and sucker punches the kid, knocking him out cold.

“Was that really necessary?” I ask, looking at Corey’s lifeless frame now lying on the floor.

“Trust me, the kid should be glad I didn’t toss him out the window after what he just put you through.”

“How did you know to come?”

“It’s a long story. I’m just glad you’re safe.”

“Now who’s coming to the rescue?” I give Johnny a teasing wink.

He smirks back at me before kissing my lips and whispering into my ear, “Let’s not make a habit out of it, okay?”

“Yes, sir,” I whisper back. “So, what are you gonna do with him?” I look down at Corey, making sure he’s still breathing. Except for the slight raising of his chest every so often, he almost looks dead.

“I don’t know why the little fucker was here or why he was coming after you, but I’ve got one of our inside guys coming to handle him. They’ll make the breaking and entering charge stick and find a way to keep the videos out of it.”

“Videos?” I’m a little shocked Johnny knows about them too.

“Long story, but I promise to fill you in later.”

The cops show up a minute later and escort a barely aware Corey from my home. Johnny helps me clean up the few things Corey destroyed. Evidently, he had the bright idea that he would make it look like a burglary gone wrong, with me ending up as the collateral damage.

After things were put back as best as they could be, Johnny pulls me into a big bear hug. “I was so scared of losing you.”

I nod into his shoulder, allowing him to give me the comfort I need in this moment. “I know the feeling. It’s the same I had when you called me the other day.”

“I’m sorry I put you through that,” he says softly.

“I’m not.” I pull back from Johnny and look into those beautiful crystal blue eyes that I melt into with every glance. “Because it’s shown me how much I love you...and how much you love me.”

“I do love you. Like I’ve never loved anyone.”

“But maybe we can start having some semblance of a regular life... At least for a little while?” I raise an eyebrow as if that’s a real question.

“I’d like that. But I’m not sure how domesticated you want to be.” His words strike me as odd.

“Why do you say that?”

“I mean, except for my time with you...my life outside of work is a bit humdrum. Sure, I hang out with the guys some, but mostly I just sit at home and binge shows on the Netflix.”

“Sounds perfect to me. Normal, remember.” Then I give it another thought. “Well, normal outside of the bedroom.” I pull him in for a kiss.

“I do have something normal in mind, but you may not be ready to take that next step.”

I quirk an eyebrow and challenge him in a demanding tone. “Try me.”
