CHAPTER TWENTY-SEVEN
ALEXANDRA
I now had everything that I wanted, and I could not be happier. Camilla had opened herself up to me, and we were friends again. I had a child on the way, and I had a skilled warrior that had proposed to me. I never thought when I was graduating college that this would be the next stage of my life. How could I? I didn't even know that aliens existed. But since I studied strange life in the ocean, it seemed to fit me well to go live among strange life in another galaxy.
Not only was I happy, but the entire Draqua village was happy. It seemed this was the first time in a long time that the conflict between them and the opposition was in a place of peace. Because of this, there was a different energy, a celebration at all times in the village. This made me happy too, of course; it meant that my soon-to-be husband would not be going on so many dangerous missions all the time. Even though he said he would miss it badly, as he craved the adventure and danger, I craved knowing that he was safe.
Camilla finally gave Vrerkin a second chance, and they had happily been a couple ever since. It was all coming together the way it should have from the beginning, before all the chaos happened. When we were taken from that boat in Mexico, we could not have foreseen the crazy events that would happen to us; now I was glad that it was all over. I found myself in a place of happiness and calm for the first time since we were taken. Yes, of course, I missed Earth, and I missed out on the chance to explore my career further after graduation. But I would not trade that experience in for what I had now. I was now a marine biologist studying alien marine life, and no one could ever do what I was doing. I was getting married to an alien dragon shifter, something that could never happen to me on Earth, and I would not trade it in for anything. So everything had worked out for the best, and today was the day that I was getting married.
“What do you think about these?” Camilla asked.
“I think they look beautiful with your blue eyes,” I said. She held a crown of blue flowers in her hand, hovering it over her head. We were both in her hut getting dressed in our wedding clothes. We had decided on a double wedding. It seemed fitting for two roommates and best friends.
“Which one are you going to wear?” she said looking at the flower crowns on the table. The females of the village had made them for us.
“I am going to wear the purple flowers. They are my favorite and very fragrant. I just love them,” I said walking to the table and picking it up.
“Here, let me. Sit down,” Camilla said taking the crown from me. I sat down, and she placed it on my head with pins.
“There, now you are perfect,” she said.
“So are you,” I said.
“Thank you, I never thought I would be wearing this as a wedding dress,” I said.
“Me either,” she laughed.
We both wore the same wedding clothes. We wore a white loincloth and white tube top cloth underneath a sheer white dress. It was the closest thing to a wedding dress we could get. The flower crowns on our hair were perfect for a tropical island wedding.
She looked at me, and her eyes begin to water.
“Did you ever think we would be doing this when we graduated college?”
“No, absolutely not,” I laughed. “I never thought I would be marrying an alien dragon shifter. Especially one that frustrated me so much when I first met him.”
“Yes, but there was passion between you two immediately. Now you are bringing new life into the world,” she put her hand on my belly. I was not showing yet; it was still too early. And I was thankful for that considering what I had to wear on my wedding day.
“Yes, that is true. I am very excited. You will be doing the same one day,” I said.
“One day very soon. I am pregnant,” she said.
“Camilla! You are? Oh my God!” I hugged her. We jumped up and down excited.
“Now our children will grow up together. They will be best friends, just like us!”
“That is the best thing ever!” I said.
“They are ready for you,” Lisa said walking into the hut.
“Thank you, Lisa. We are ready,” I said grabbing Camilla's hand. We walked out onto the platform and followed Lisa across the drawbridge. I stopped in the middle and looked out over the island.
“This is our last moment as single women. Look at this beautiful view,” I said.
“Look at those dragons flying around,” she laughed as we looked at the full-blooded Draqua that shifted into dragons flying around over the ocean in the distance.
“It is unbelievable. Are you ready?”
“I am. I am ready to be Mrs. Commander Vrerkin Roan.”
“And I am ready to be Mrs. Captain Ineq Shun.”
“Let’s do this!” she said.
We laughed and finished crossing the bridge. We entered the arch in the tree and entered the spiral staircase. The staircase was a masterpiece. It was carved from the inside of the tree and was intricate with beautiful craftsmanship patterns. It was a very long spiral staircase that went for flights down. It made the ceremony feel even grander even though I had walked the stairs many times. This time I was walking to give up my single woman freedom. Because of that, it gave these stairs meaning. We finally reach the bottom of the stairs and walked out of the tree onto the jungle path toward the beach.
“Oh my God. Alexandra, it is beautiful,” Camilla said.
“Yes, it is. I don't think I could have asked for anything better.”
“Of course not, a marine biologist getting married on the beach? That is like your wet dream,” she said.
I laughed as we stood in front of a beautifully decorated beach. There were fishing nets in the trees decorated with many shells, creating a beautiful area for us to walk under as one net crossed to one tree and then the next. The white sand was laid out with flower petals, creating the path for us to walk down.
At the end of the path stood my gorgeous fiancé, Ineq. He wore nothing but a blue loincloth and bare feet. His gorgeous muscular stature was on display for me to see. I hungered for him as soon as I saw him. The commander stood on the other side wearing the same thing. They smiled at us. Camilla and I looked at each other and smiled with a big sigh. It was like having presents waiting for us on Christmas morning. We were both very excited.
Then the ceremonial drums began to beat. The crowd grew quiet. Camilla and I walked hand-in-hand over the flower path to our fiancés. When we reached them, Ineq took my hand. I stared into his gorgeous brown eyes. I thought they were beginning to water, but he was restraining himself. I found it very sweet. We held hands throughout the ceremony. It was short and sweet. Then we were married.
The ceremony was followed by a grand feast. There was lots of seafood and fruit and vegetables to be had. There was also a lot of Hiwa, but both Camilla and I could not have it in our pregnant state. Something that my now-husband noticed.
“I know why you are not drinking the Hiwa, wife,” he said as he sat next to me at a long table, the wedding table.
“Yes, husband? I love saying that, husband,” I smiled.
“I noticed Camilla is not drinking it either. Would there be a reason why?”
I leaned over and whispered in his ear. “The same reason that I am not drinking it.”
“That is excellent news! Now our offspring shall grow up the way Roan and I did. It is just as it should be.”
“I agree with that, husband.”
“I cannot wait to get you to the marriage bed, wife,” he growled in my ear.
“I cannot wait either. I want you to take me, husband. Show me that I belong to you,” I said.
He moaned, “I thought you would never ask.”
We stood up and walked home, accepting congratulations along the way. When we got to the bottom of the tree that our hut was situated on, I stopped.
“What? What is it?” he asked.
“Will you fly me home?” It was the equivalent of being carried over the threshold on Earth, but this was way more exciting and sexy.
“You want the dragon?”
“Yes, I want my dragon,” I said trailing my fingers along his chest. He moaned.
“Anything you want, wife,” he stepped away from me. He stared at me as he shifted. And if she became the hybrid Dragon. His wings spread out behind him spreading far and wide. His strong body seemed to become bigger, just a little bit. The patterned scales that appeared along his arm and shoulder and down the side we're beautiful to look at. I bit my lower lip as I looked at him. He was so damn sexy. He took two confident long steps toward me. Then he scooped me up into his arms. “You are mine now,” he said.
“Then show me that I am yours,” I said. He let out a soft growl and then flew straight up along the tree. He flew into the large window in our hut. He laid me down gently on the bed.
“Do you want me to stay the dragon?” he asked.
“Absolutely,” I said. I stood up on the bed, ready to take off all my clothes, just as he liked me to do.
“No, keep it on. Those are your marriage clothes, and you are my bride. I want to take you as my bride,” he said.
“Yes, Captain,” I said leaving the dress on.
He walked over to me, and I draped my arms around his neck. He kissed me passionately, and I kissed him back. His hands moved underneath the sheer dress and pushed the loincloth up to my waist. I moaned as his fingers slid along my wet slit, preparing me for his thick cock. I moaned wildly as I kissed his neck. Then he grabbed my thighs and wrapped my legs around him. And we did. We made love all night and into the next day. We spent the whole week celebrating our love in bed in our vast hut in the tree tops.
Two years had passed since our wedding. Camilla and I sat in the sand watching our toddlers play in the surf while holding newborn babies in our arms. We now had families.
“Whalon! You are a great swimmer!” I shouted at my son in the surf playing with Camilla’s son, Varnok.
“They are beautiful, aren't they?” Camilla said to me.
“The most beautiful thing I have ever seen,” I said, looking at both of my children.
“Can you believe we are mothers? College did not prepare us for this,” she said.
“No, it did not. I still cannot believe it every day; we are blessed.”
“Yes, look where we are. We are on a freaking alien planet!” She laughed.
“And it is unbelievably beautiful here,” I said. “How lucky is that?”
“It is like our vacation never ended. We went to a beach paradise and continued to live on a beach paradise forever. Who would have thought that day we were packing to go to Mexico would be the last time we packed ever?” she said.
“But not our last drunken night together,” I laughed.
“Yes, now that we have given birth to our second children, I am glad that we can partake in the Hiwa again. What did Ineq say about tonight?”
“He agreed, not that he had any choice” I laughed.
“Perfect!” she said. “Finally we get to have a girls’ night while the captain and commander watch the children. We are going to get drunk and swim and have a good time. Just like we did in Mexico,” she said.
“Yes, only this time we will not be stealing a boat” I playfully said.
“Stealing a boat? What are you two plotting?” We turned to see the captain and commander walking behind us. We laughed. They each gave us a kiss on the cheek. I handed my youngest son, Jerton, to Ineq. He cradled him in his arms. I took a step back and looked at him. Seeing him carrying such a fragile baby made my heart swell with joy. It was a beautiful view.
“Father!” Whalon shouted as he ran to Ineq and hugged his leg. He was small but very strong and smart.
“There you are, my son! Are you ready to go play with father this evening?”
Whalon eagerly nodded his head.
“Let’s go have some food,” Ineq said to Whalon. He kissed me on the cheek. Camilla said her goodbyes too. Then we stood there, two human females on an alien beach.
“Shall we begin?” she said.
“Absolutely!” I took off the sheer dress and ran out into the ocean waves. The cool water reminded me of swimming in Mexico, and for that night we were just two roommates having a grand time on vacation on an alien planet.
