Lost, Found, Loved (A St. Skin Novel): a bad boy new adult romance novel by London Casey, Jaxson Kidman, Karolyn James (36)

BELLA

(A LITTLE LATER IN LIFE)

My fingertips slid up and down the muscular ridges of his back. His body thrust harder, faster, leaving me with no choice but to bite his shoulder to keep from screaming too loud. We didn’t need another complaint. Yes, another…

His hands grabbed my ass, squeezing tight, lifting me a little, our bodies so tight together it was hard to breathe. All I could smell was his skin and his sweat. It was my new favorite smell.

“Fuck, darlin’,” he growled as his lips made a trail from my neck to my ear.

I tried to say something back but it came out as an inaudible groan.

Zayne kissed my mouth, and we devoured each other yet again. I had lost track of time. Not that time mattered. It was just about us. Being together.

With a grunt, Zayne rolled and took me with him. I was then on top of him, riding his beautiful, tattooed body. I put my hands to the headboard of the bed and started to pump my hips. He felt so good, deep inside me, leaving my body aching and tingling in places I could have only dreamed about before.

Zayne’s big, strong hands started at my hips and slowly climbed up. He cupped my breasts and came forward, his hands going to my back, pulling me against him. His mouth kissed my chest, the tip of his tongue flickering against my nipples one at a time, racing back and forth, kissing up my chest, down to my breasts again, then pulling away.

I looked down at him, sucking a shaky breath, gritting my teeth. The pressure was intense. So fucking intense.

“Zayne…”

His hands grabbed my hips again. I was quivering as my body reached its peak. My climaxes with him were so wild that my body would freeze up, and I couldn’t find my breath for a few seconds. His hands eased to my ass and he lifted me up. And Zayne kept going. Thrusting up at me. Loving me. The sounds of our bodies echoing through the bedroom. Our groans, grunts, breathless gasps of pleasure.

With one hand, Zayne then touched the back of my neck and pulled me toward him, bringing my mouth down to his. We kissed again, his hand spreading across the back of my head. Commanding me. Controlling me. Moving his body up and into me. With such perfect precision. I was stuck in the space of climax, unable to come down from the wild high my body felt. Which was not a problem at all.

Zayne lifted with one last hard thrust and held there, letting me feel everything he had to offer.

I shuddered and groaned into his mouth as we kept kissing.

His arms wrapped tight around me, and I collapsed into his chest. I was breathless. His heart raced. I looked at the clock on the night stand in the hotel room. It was just past noon.

And we still hadn’t gotten out of bed yet.

* * *

Got you coffee, darlin’,” Zayne said as he stepped out to the balcony.

He wore black pants and no shirt. He was a fucking dream. I didn’t think his tattoos could get any sexier, until he got his new one. The wolf on his chest. The butterfly on the wolf’s nose. The same butterfly he had tattooed on me. It was Zayne’s subtle way of telling me no matter what happened between us, I would forever be in his heart.

I had a sheet around my body as I stared out at the water. The crash of the waves. The heat. The sounds of life all around. We were up high enough that nobody could really see us, not that anyone would be looking.

I took the coffee, and Zayne kissed my cheek.

“What do you think of Miami so far?” he asked.

“Well, we haven’t even gotten to the beach yet,” I said. “We’ve done nothing but check out Tilly’s shop and fool around in bed.”

“And that’s a bad thing…why?”

I smiled and felt myself blushing. He still made me blush, even though his hands and his mouth had explored every inch of my body many times over.

“Are you sure about all this?” I asked him.

“I’m sure,” he said. “I wanted to come talk to Tilly in person.”

“You know, it really is beautiful down here,” I said.

“Beautiful enough to live?”

“Sure. If this is where you’re happy.”

Zayne shook his head. “I’m happy wherever the hell we end up together.”

“So, we’re not moving to Miami?”

“No,” Zayne said. “I talked to Tilly. He gets it. I’m going to do some ink today and tomorrow. Then we’re flying back.”

“Are you sure?”

“Positive. I can fly back and forth, darlin’. Best of both worlds. Keep Tate and Tilly on their toes. Keep my own control of life.”

“You know, Zayne, you are a stubborn pain in the ass sometimes.”

“All the time,” he said. “Get used to it.”

He put an arm around me. I put my head to his chest. Right at the tattoo of the wolf and the butterfly. We sat in silence, watching the world go by.

The wolf and the butterfly.

It was so weirdly fitting.

I didn’t care where I lived, as long as I was with Zayne. That may not have been the right way to live life, but it was what I wanted. I finally had what I wanted. A chance to work, write, and see where the future went. No longer would I be lost. I’d never sit on the side of the road, waiting to be found.

Zayne had found me. And in some ways, I found him, the real him.

I turned my head and kissed the wolf on his chest. Then I moved to my toes and kissed the real beast in real life.

He turned his head and raised an eyebrow.

“What time are you supposed to be at Tilly’s?” I whispered.

“Three hours from now,” he said.

I put my hand to his stomach and playfully inched down. “So, we have time…”

Zayne grinned. He leaned down and kissed me. “Darlin’…all we have is time…”

THE END.
