Chapter Twelve

The weekend couldn’t come fast enough. Though James spent much of his week with his son, and he enjoyed every second, he’d been looking forward to private time with Quentin. During that time apart as well, someone had gotten a hold of a picture of them together—at the restaurant where Quentin kissed his cheek from behind. His heart lurched then raced as he’d waited for Quentin to pick up. But Quentin hadn’t been worried about himself. It turned out the rapper was terrified James would see his face in the pictures, being called Tin Man’s latest muse and freak out.

James didn’t mind. He’d been called worse.

Then again, if he could get Tin Man to come up with even better songs, he’d take his payment in Quentin’s bed.

Win, win.

With a smirk, he checked on his son then crawled into bed with the television on mute and Quentin on his phone.

“How was your day?” Quentin asked.

“Good. Jordan and I went shopping for school stuff.” James sighed. “Who knew a kid needed so much—so much—stuff?

Quentin laughed. “I did. Why didn’t you tell me? I have the hook-ups all over this city.”

“Jordan and I haven’t really done anything like that before. I wanted to do this with just us. Besides, I didn’t want the media involved. I’ve missed out on so much time with him. Is it selfish that I wanted some alone time with Jordan?”

“No. And don’t let anyone make you feel guilty. You want to make up for lost time—I get that.”

“I missed you though. Is that weird?” James sighed. It was out in the universe. There was no taking it back.

“No—I missed you too. But I did get some work done.”

“I thought you were on a break.”

“I am—this is the song I wanted to do with Jordan.”

“You were serious about that?”

Quentin made an irritated sound in his throat. “Of course, I was serious. I wouldn’t go back on my word.”

“Sorry. That came out wrong.”

“Mac, a song can always been rerecorded. This is something Jordan and I will be doing together so we can get to know each other. If it’s good then it’s good. If not, he has something he can brag to his friends with.”

James laughed. “You’re a sweetheart, you know that?”

“Don’t go spreading that around. I have a reputation around these parts, don’t you know.”

They laughed.

Silence.

“Quentin?”

“Mhmm?”

“I’m horny.”

Quentin chuckled. “I would ask you to come over but it’s late now. Am I still seeing you this weekend?”

“Yeah. Beth is taking Jordan to give me some time with you. I think I want to spend it in your bed. This weekend, I want to be yours—all—yours.”

Quentin moaned. “You think?”

“I know. I want to be all yours this weekend.”

“You have no idea how good that sounds to me.” Quentin moaned. “I’ve never had a man wanting to give himself to me.”

“And you find that sexy?”

“Very. As a matter of fact…let me show you how good that sounds to me. Hang on.”

There was a pause on the other line and soon after, James’ phone beeped.

“Hang on a second, babe,” James said.

He checked the phone and was stunned to see it was a picture—a picture of Quentin’s very hard, very tasty dick. He moaned. “What are you doing to me?” he asked. “How am I supposed to sleep tonight? And how am I supposed to survive tomorrow with that in my head?”

“Well,” Quentin said, laughter in his voice. “I’ll be at the studio ironing out the beats for that song. But, if you can swing by in the morning I could give you a little something to tide you over.”

“A little something?” James dragged his free hand down his bare abs to his dick that pulsed to be released. “Like what?”

“I don’t know.” Quentin’s voice dipped lower. “Ever been licked in a public place?”

James’ brain freaked out at that thought but his cocked perked up even more, obviously loving the idea. “Can’t say I have.”

“Well, babe. If you do make it by here tomorrow morning, Tanjay can keep Jordan company while we play.”

“Damn—I find I’m in love with that idea. Even though it scares me getting caught.”

“We won’t be doing anything in the middle of the studio or anything. I have an office here. But the thought of people going about the building having no clue that you’re deep inside me, or that I’m on my knees before you—servicing you—that thought does something amazing to my body. Shit, I didn’t think I could be any harder.”

“Good. You can share my misery.”

Quentin laughed. “I’ll see you tomorrow, sexy.”

“Night.”

James hung up the phone after Quentin did. But even though their conversation was over, his cock didn’t seem to care. Maybe it was the fact he hadn’t stopped staring at the picture of Quentin’s very large cock—the one James wanted so desperately to ride. He wanted to take it down his throat again, then to feel it stretching his hole, filling him.

“Dang.” He closed the image and plugged the cell in to charge. After a cold shower, he managed to fall asleep.

First thing in the morning, he made breakfast. As they ate, he told himself no matter what, he would always make time in the morning for Jordan. Hopefully, that would be a step into further showing Jordan that he was interested.

With breakfast out of the way, they got dressed made their way into Manhattan. This time, it was so that Jordan could get a laptop and other school supplies. One shopping day had been for clothes and the like. This day, books, laptop, pens, pencils a geometry set and calculator—being a parent was massively expensive.

Jordan opted to be dropped off at Beth’s early. James stuck around but Jordan merely hugged him before he was commandeered for cousin duties. After kissing Beth’s cheek, he climbed back behind the wheels and battled traffic to Quentin’s studio.

“Hey, babe!” Quentin said. “You’re here.”

James kissed him. “Yeah.”

“You remember my brother, Tanjay?”

“Yes, hey.” James shook Tanjay’s hand.

“He’s going to run some lyrics for me while we have a moment,” Quentin said.

Tanjay smirked.

James’ cheeks exploded in flames. He wondered if Tanjay knew what was about to happen—that James is about to push his brother to his knees then bend over for him? He managed a smile as Quentin took his hand and led him from the room. They were barely in Quentin’s office before James’ back hit the wall with Quentin against him. Their lips met and the shock of the kiss made James moan at first. Then, he wrapped his arms around Quentin’s back, and took control of the smooch. He forced his tongue into the rapper’s mouth and when he found Quentin’s tongue, James sucked on it.

Quentin growled, grinding his dick into James’. They were both hard, pulsing, ready. He allowed his palms to travel down Quentin’s back and into the waist of his track pants. Soon, he had Quentin’s cheeks spread and was sliding the ball of a finger over his puckered hole.

“Yes, baby.” Quentin drew his lips away and exhaled. “Suck it wet.”

James did as Quentin wanted then inserted the finger into Quentin. To his delight, Quentin purred for him. James took that as a sign to nibble at Quentin’s neck and throat as he fingered him, driving the finger in as deeply and as hard as the confines of the pants would allow. Quentin’s breath became ragged against James’ shoulder.

“Harder.”

“How’s this?”

“Fuck, that’s good…”

“I can make it better.”

“Mmm, James, please.”

James eased away from Quentin and turned him to face the desk. Once he was bent over, James slipped to his knees behind Quentin and tugged his pants down to his ankles. He used his tongue to lather Quentin’s hole, tasting him and moaning.

“James!” Quentin shouted.

“Shhh,” James hushed. “You have to be quiet, remember?”

“How—?” Quentin groaned. “When you eat it so good—damn, baby. I wanna be fucked.”

James smiled while standing and reaching into his pocket he pulled out an extra lubricated condom pack and ripped it open. Once he’d readied himself and Quentin, James caressed Quentin’s lower back while sliding into his lover.

“Shit,” Quentin sighed. “Give it to me.”

Once again, for a brief moment, James realized he was addicted to Quentin. As he drove into Quentin and roared with the delicious insanity of it all, James realized he didn’t care who heard, who knew. This man was his and he had every intention of keeping it that way.

Their passions took them from one position to another, crashing into things in the office and knocking over a desk lamp. Even as it smashed to the floor, James didn’t let up and Quentin never once asked him to stop. In fact, Quentin begged for it harder, a sound that turned James on even more.

“James—make me…” Quentin moaned just as his cock erupted.

That beautiful sight brought James right over the edge. His knees trembled and he braced his palms into the desk on either side of Quentin’s body. They crumbled to the floor, his cock and full condom slipped from Quentin’s body. He couldn’t control his breathing but Quentin crawled over and cuddled against his chest. They panted together in silence for an eternity.

“Only you could ever do that to me.” Quentin finally confessed. “I don’t want to lose that.”

James kissed his head. “Lose that?”

“Yes. James, you make me feel sexy. You touch me like I always imagined a man should touch me. I feel, beautiful in your arms.”

James shivered at this confession. “You know I’m not looking for an immediate commitment? I want you to know what you’re getting into.”

“I know that.” Quentin shifted to sit up. “James, what I’m saying is, one day, I’m going to ask to be yours. One day, I’m going to ask to be a father to your son and I’m going to want to give myself—all of myself—to this family.”

“Jordan went through a lot,” James said. “He’s still a little touch and go at nights and you will have to be okay with all of this—okay with helping us get him back to where he can trust us and others. I want my son to be happy.”

“That’s all any good father wants, James. He wants his baby to be happy.” Quentin cleared his throat. “Hate to break it to you, lover but you’re just like all them other fathers.”

“I will take that.”

“Stop trying to scare me. I know life isn’t perfect and there will be times when it tries us in all kinds of ways. But I’m no fool—this is a good thing.”

James smiled, his heart racing. “Okay, my beauty. We’ll work for that day.”

“Good.” Quentin kissed him deeply. “This won’t be easy—I wish I could promise you ease but we both know life isn’t at all like that.”

“I don’t want easy, Quentin. I want love for myself and my boy. I guess what I’m saying is, one day I want to be yours too.”

The happiness that spread Quentin’s face before he tossed himself into James’ arms, sent fire through James’ soul. He laughed and tangled his arms around Quentin’s body. “You know, Quentin, for a rapper, you surprise me.”

“I do?”

“I’m going to admit my biases. When I think rapper, I don’t think a man who wishes to have a nice little house with the husband and a white picket fence.”

Quentin leaned back, mischief in his eyes. “Oh?  Well, I’m an anomaly.”

“I’ll take it.”
